Ms. Jacobson is a reliable professor, she is helpful in every way. Her teaching is easy, clear and entertaining. If you want a great professor please take her class. Ms. Jacobson is a wonderful and professional professor.

Prof. Jacobson is one of the best math teachers I've encountered so far at the college. She is very good at explaining things and helps you out whenever you don't understand something. Her class is entertaining. The course is face paced and you need to do the homework and study in order to get a decent grade. She also has extra credit options.

Summerizes chapters on board, gives plenty of examples, the best teacher for Stats, period. You can drop lowest test grade, which includes the final (meaning you don't have to take final!). Gives extra credit. The easiest in comparison to other professors teaching Stats. Calculator is a must and is used a ton, but that's what makes it easy. BEST!!

Excellent teacher! Narrowed down info to what was needed for test. Actually wrote down own notes on board and stated only info on tests will be what she gives. The best teacher for Stats! Extra credit for each test. The last review is inaccurate. There seems to be a lot of immature students who do things like come 15 minutes late. For students who are serious and want to succeed, she is really a perfect match. She tells you what to study and writes all notes on board! She is Great!!

I loved Prof. Jacobson. She's super young, makes you doubt if shes old enough to teach at times. Strict on being on time but that's just respect. Very helpful, extra credit, drops lowest and doesn't mind joking around with the class to ease the tension. She's very nice as long as you pay attention. DON'T TALK! She hates it and its rude. Mrs jacobson is simply a great teacher. Before the class i was extremely nervous about passing. She made everything very clear and made me more comfortable about the material. drops lowest test, extra credit for visting math lab, do your homework! if you are tettering between grades she will bump it up if you show your homework. highly recommend

She's really cool, super nice, and very intelligent, funny. Teaches very well and the great thing is before she moves on 2 the next section she asks her students if they understand if not she is willing to do another problem on the board. She's awesome take her,she gives chances you won't regret

Professor Jacobson is a great teacher, I would definitely recommend her. At the beginning of the semester she got mad when people were late but she stopped yelling at them. She hates when people talk in class. If you suck at math, you have to study. She's super helpful and is willing to anything to help you succeed.

Very smart, young and engaging. She is a great person but she is tough on grading. Her grades consist on only 4 tests so if you do bad on 2 you fail the class. if you are lazy, if you don't like to study and if you don't do your homework you will fail! She dent grade homework only the 4 tests.

She's the best math teacher you'll find. She's very helpful, and for a person where math isn't my best subject i did pretty good. She gives a chapter review before the test which really help. Lowest test grade i received was an 84 and she drops the lowest test grade, including the final. Take her, study, and you'll feel like a math wizard. lol

You won't find a better Statistics teacher...She explains things thoroughly so you understand. Shows how to use the required calculator, gives tips and strategies that help you remember. I took her class in Broward College. She is very upbeat, and likes to get along with the class and does a good job doing it. I was surprised when I saw her because she is young, but she knows her stuff. I got an F because I stopped coming to class, but I learned a lot when I would show up. 5 exams, she drops the lowest exam grade. HW required!

I was terrified of this class. She is the best professor i have ever had, pretty, funny, clear, understandind and brilliant in what he does. You should really take her. She is the very best. Ps** Im rating her now b/c i dont want it to seem that my rating is based on my final grade. :)

One of the best math teachers I have ever had. This math class was extremely easy. However, she went into such great detail in explaining everything that it is impossible for anyone to not catch on. Only has grades for tests and homework. The tests are easy and she reviews everything the day before. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

The best math teach I've ever had. What differentiates professor Jacobson is her no bs approach to mathematics and coursework in general. The homework was optional but counted as extra credit if turned in before the chapter's test. No online homework. Always responded my emails and was available for questions. Highly recommended! YO! seriously just follow her throughout all the math classes you have to take. she makes it very clear and is soooo helpful and actually cares. Its not like baby easy but if you come to class and you do your part you will pass. she's awesome and funny .

She is the BEST teacher you'll find! I am horrible at math but she explains things so clearly it makes it easy to understand the material. I'm sure if I would have taken her in the fall instead of summer, I would have gotten an A! Take her, you won't regret it!

I took her for stats for summer a and i enjoyed it so much and understood her so well that i am in summer b for her trig class. the trig is not clicking as well, i wouldn't recommend this class in the summer, but i would recommend her as your teacher.

I liked her class. She cares about her students and she wants us to do well. She gives us a review packet for every test and the final. But the reviews aren't as difficult as the actual tests. The tests are very hard. You have to thoroughly know the concept to do well on the test. But, I would take her again. Because she's smart and she cares!

She cares about all of her students. I took college alg and it was not easy, but she was very helpful. Be prepared for mymathlab, 4 tests, and one final exam.

Great professor. She set up a very clear grading system. She really wants her students to learn a lot and do well. She gives many opportunities to earn back points here and there. ALWAYS is there to answer questions before/after class or on break!

Great professor. Took her for a 6 weeks statistics course and glad to say I didn't struggle! She made stats a lot easier than you'd think it would be. Helps when asked, does 4 tests and a final. Offers 10 points extra credit on every test (an easy A)! Everything she teaches is exactly what's going to be on the tests. I'd recommend her for stats :)

Professor Jacobson is awesome! She knows her stuff and is super clear in her teaching. She gives quite a few opportunities for you to earn back points. She was always available before/after class and on break to answer whatever questions you might have! Having the textbook makes it so much easier to follow along. HW due on MML day before test.

This professor is an excellent teacher. She drops one test grade, and gives extra credit if you do the review or go to the SLC lab. The notes were very detailed. The tests are easy if you study. I highly recommend taking this class with professor Jacobson.

Success in college has almost nothing to do with the professor, and everything to do with your determination and how you study the material presented to you. My advice is: 1. Don't miss class, you'll hate yourself 2. Buy the calculator, it will save your life 3. GO TO THE MATH LAB 4. Know how to complete the practice tests inside and out

Great teacher. Don't wait until the last min to do homework. Visit the lab. Test reviews are extra credit complete and study those they resemble the test! Would take for every math class if possible. Got a B but an A was most definitely feasible.

Professor Jacobson was an absolute delight! one of the best professors I have ever had. She gives reviews before all the tests and is quick to respond to emails. She will take questions after class as well. Has a great attitude and made the course easy. Don't wait til the last minute to do the homework and do the reviews, they're worth 5 points.

Math is not my thing whatsoever. But she made it incredibly easy to understand. Do the study guides and you will pass any test she throws your way. She is great at teaching, however her only downfall is the MyMathLab hw assignments. Sometimes we don't even go over a lesson that's assigned for homework and we have to do it anyway.

Stats w/ Professor Jacobson's is the best math class I have signed up for at PBSC. Her tests practically mirror her study guides. She also gives extra credit for going to tutoring and completing her study guide. Her only downside is that she does teach pretty fast. You WILL have to ask her to slow down every now and then. Wish she taught Pre-calc

She is one of the best professors I've had since starting pbsc I suck at math and I passed her class. it's hard but she makes it easier for you. She gives test reviews for every test and extra credit for going to the math lab for every test including the final and she drops a test she couldn't have done anything better. I never got anything above a C- in any math class but in her Stat's class I got a B+. I would have gotten an A if I tried harder. She gives a lot of extra credit and very good lectures. She gives kind of a lot of homework but its easy online and you have a lot of time to do it. Take her for any math class!! I wish i took her for college algebra

I did poorly in my highschool geometry class, so I was scared when she said that trig was like "geometry on crack". Despite this, professor Jacobson is a great professor. She speaks clearly and makes each new concept easy to understand by doing each problem step by step. If you do all the homework and practice quizzes(extra credit) you'll be fine.

One of the best math professors i've ever had. I am horrible at math and this was her first class at IRSC. I passed her college algebra with a B(Great for me), but I could of easily gotten an A if I took the effort to study. Anyone who has a strong suit in math would get an easy A. Take her if you're bad at math, teaches slow and step by step.

Professor Jacobson was able to simplify a very tedious subject. Her study guides follow her tests almost like a mirror. She also offers extra credit for visiting the math lab AND for completing her study guides. She does teach pretty fast, but she will slow down if asked to (seriously she won't mind). No idea how she doesn't have a 5.0 rating.

She gave 4 tests and dropped the lowest one at the end of the semester. Also 3 take home quizzes which you could get help on. Offered extra credit for going to the SLC and for doing the test review. The test reviews were just like the test. The exam was just like the review as well.

If you do your homework and take advantage of the extra credit opportunities you should pass this class with no problem.

Best math professor Ive ever had. Taken her twice and always been extremely happy. Her lectures are super easy to follow and repetitive, so by the time you leave class you definitely know what to do. Always been terrible at math and I aced every test. Hate math, love love love her. Dont think I wouldve done nearly as well with anyone else.

Professor Jacobson is very overqualified for her position, but in a positive way. Her mastery of the subject is evident, and it leads to very fluid and purposeful lectures. She always remains cognizant of her students; you'll never be made to feel bad about asking a question or asking her to slow down. There are many extra credit opportunities.

Professor Jacobson was terrific, she gives you practice exams before each exam and it is just like the real one. She also will drop your lowest exam grade (out of 4) which is really helpful. I wouldn't recommend taking the summer course due to the speed, it can get crammed but if your up for the challenge be sure to take good notes and study!

Professor Jacobson had to cover a lot of material in a short period of time during the summer course. She has really good knowledge of the subject. It was hard for me, but I worked as hard as I could. She will email you right back if you have any questions.

I've been taking this class over the 6-week summer term and I can honestly say it's not nearly as bad as I thought it was. I've always been good at math so it's not too difficult but I wouldn't recommend to take the accelerated course unless you're strong in math. Other than that, she's a good professor and as long as you do the hw you'll be fine.

I really enjoyed this class because of this professor. She made the information easy to understand. Homework on mymathlab is due the day of each exam, but there isn't a lot of it. Simple grading scale, no group work. I definitely would suggest taking her for statistics!!

Professor Jacobson made this course very easy to understand by going through all the concepts and making sure that the whole class was understanding every lesson. The class is very structured, so you will know exactly what you are doing everyday. I would recommend to do the MyMathLab homework until you get a 100% and do the practice tests.

This class could be very difficult with the wrong professor. If you are not great at math I would suggest not taking the six week class, however it is still managable either way. The teacher was very nice and funny, and willing to go over things more thorough if needed.

I took this as a six-week summer course so it was most likely more intense for me than it would be for fall or spring semesters. We had 4 exams taken in class and a final taken at home online. Getting a graphing calculator will save you. must buy access code for textbook in order to do homework. Gives extra credit for studying in SLC for every test

Professor Jacobson was AMAZING! she makes you completely understand and feel comfortable with it. I took her class as a 6-week course and regret it just as how fast-paced it was, (gives you no room to breathe) but she made the 6-week course very passable, she explains everything in detail. Would recommend her to anyone and everyone!

I did Professor Jacobson's class in Summer B, and it was very difficult, but if you put in the work and time it is possible to get a good grade. I did homework or studied every single night and went to the learning center for tutoring. She offers extra credit and it is important to do your homework.

Definitely stay on top of your homework online. I took an accelerated course so you can't miss class. She is funny and down to earth. I would take her again. She gives extra credit which helps when you take your exams.

I took Ms. Jacobson for STA2023, a class I was required to take but dreaded. After the first two classes, I no longer dreaded going to class. She teaches math in a way that makes you want to learn the subject. She's funny, caring, and provides a good environment for learning. She isn't "easy" by any means, but she's definitely worth it.

Professor Jacobson is a great professor. She lectures and provides many examples which she goes in depth with. be prepared to take notes and do the home work not only does it help prepare you for the tests it is a 15% grade. As long as you go to class do the homework and try to do the practice exam you should be fine.

Math is never an easy A subject, but if you do the homework (get to retake until you get 100s) and do study guides for the test you shouldn't get anything lower than a C. Extra credit is available every test and for final (do them she won't bump up borderline grades!!!) She was amazing overall didn' let her pregnancy slow her down or slack grading!

Great Professor. MyMathLab is the grade book, nothing else was really added to the class other than attendance to class. None of the tests were proctored other than the final.

I have always struggled with math. I was so terrified to take STATS so much so that it held me back from getting my nursing degree for the last 4 years. If it wasn't for Prof. J I would've given up and dropped this class. She is so encouraging she really is what every professor should be. She truly wants you to succeed and understand these concepts

Jacqueline Jacobson is probably the best math professor that Palm Beach State has! She is hands down so cool, and honestly, she was my favorite professor this semester. I usually don't write positive reviews on rate my professor, but she is hands down the best pick for mathematics. Also, make sure you show up to class and do your homework!
