Professor Jones is a very nice and helpful professor. She actually takes the time to make sure us students understand what is going on. Thanks Professor Jones for grading us on our capability and not for only your expectations.

Professor Jones, is a great teacher and I would love for her to teach my kids one day if she is still teaching.

Dr. Jones is a very helpful and friendly professor. She has a good sense of humor and is worth taking as a teacher.

Prof. Jones is one of the most flabergasted people that I have ever met in my life.Her teahcing skills are up to par in every aspect. Not only does she excercise everything that is in her job description, she further's it by showing her students she cares

She is a very nice and helpful person. She is a little hard on grading your papers, but she will give you a chance to make corrections.

At first she comes off as being very tough but she's nat as tough as she comes across. She is more than willing to help in any way possible.

Professor Jones is so great. Seriously. In addition to being the MOST ATTRACTIVE teacher in the ENTIRE english department, she is also smart and willing to help you out. Anyone who says otherwise is obviously someone who hasn't done **** in that class!

Dr. Jones is a very good professor. She may be hard but that's what college is about. If you can't learn something in her class then you are obviously not ready to be in college. If anyone says any different, they're lazy people who need to go to FDTC.

Professor Jones is not the most easy professor at FMU but she is not the hardest either. She actually helps you outside of class if you take the opportunity.About her being **** is ridicoulous. It's a joke stop being narrow minded, and all high school.

Dr Jones may be hard but her African American Literature class was very interesting. She should me and my classmates different aspect of our culture. Good class to take.

Prof. Jones is a great teacher, u can talk to her about anything,more like a student than teacher sometimes.Loves to joke as for her not liking MEN just a joke!get over it im a male and i passed with a B. GO 2 WRITING CENTER AND HER ON EVERY PAPER!!!

DR. Jones is a great professor. She hepled me to profect my writing and everything about it. Okay I will admit that she has her days, but don't we all. She is a very well rounded teacher unlike some of the other d**** heads on this campus. If you go to her for help she will make sure to help you.

She is a good teacher even though she make things as harder then she should. As long as you stay on her good side, you should be fine.

Her class was very interesting and she taught me how to read the works of Black artist and use critical thinking to "feel" their expressions. Overall, the teachings will help in the long run because you'll know how to read books with a greater understanding instead of "skimming words."

I have Dr. Jones this semester, and so far so good. She's a great teacher with a funny sense of humor. Over all I think she's one of the best professors I have.

I like Dr. Jones and for those who hatin, something must be wrong. If u didn't like her, then you don't have a sense of a humor. She is mad cool. That's my dog. She is real and that's probably why you didn't like the class.

Get her! She's an awesome teacher and she makes you think...which is what you should be doing in college anyways! She makes class very fun and talks about interesting topics. She is also very helpful, go to her for help because she WILL help you! Great professor!

DR.JONES IS A PRETTY COOL TEACHER. WHEN I FIRST STARTED HER CLASS I THOUGHT IS WOULD BE HARD BUT ITS NOT. SHE WANTS YOU TO LEARN TO WRITE WORK THAT YOU LOVE AND NOT BS JUST TO GET A GRADE. YEA, SHE MAY BLAST YOU IN FRONT OF EVERYBODY BUT YOU GOTTA SHOW HER THAT YOU ARE WILLING TO DO BETTER.

Dr. Jones is a wonderful professor for first year college students. She wants you to love your work! Oh and her favorite word is "fabulous." If she says that about your paper, you know you're doing good! Oh and other thing, when she starts talking about dropping students, it's funny! Very funny! TAKE HER!!!!!!! And she loves football!! Hee hee!

Dr. Jones is AWESOME!!! She has a quirky sense of humor and it makes Monday mornings go by really quick. Don't believe those people who say she's mean. She doesn't take "high school" excuses, but HELLO this isn't high school people! I loved her class so much I'm going to try to take one of her classes again. Take her, I promise it's worth it!

i loved this class!! dr. jones can be a pest at times but the class is FABOLOUS!! she wants everyone to succeed in life

she's unorganized, but she does have a personality! her discussions in class are interesting, and allows for debate. most ppl in my class didn't like her but I didn't think she was too bad. wouldn't recommend her if you have a hard time with unorganized professors.

Dr. Jones is brilliant. People that don't like her are usually lazy and not very intelligent. Her class challenges you to think about the way you view the world. One of my best classes so far.

Dr.Jones was the best teacher I've ever had at FMU!! The first day of class she may seem mean and strict but she is a very cool person...I LOVED THIS CLASS....IT WAS SOOOO EASY....TAKE THIS CLASS!!!!!

She Makes you think. It's college that what you are supposed to do. Lazy ****s, she does her job, and now it is time you do yours.

GREAT CLASS! at first it may seem as though she's strict, but she's not that bad. she says funny stuff & she's pretty easy to relate to. she makes the things that we do interesting. i wouldn't recommend her if you're lazy and not interesting in actually learning.

Dr. Jones is great. The comment about getting bad grades if you don't share her opinion is completely false. If anything, she wants you to have your own opinion. The whole point of her class is to make you think and to get you involved in meaningful discussion. Oh, and to write a little, too. Assignments aren't tough, but you've got to go to class.

I had Dr. Jones my fresman year for Eng 200 and i liked her so I took her African Lit class the following year. She is very critical but not intimidating. I love writing so I enjoyed the challenge and the class setting. (Oh yeah she will definitly tell you if your paper sucked so if you hate honesty, don't take the class)

OMG...DON'T TAKE JONES IF YOU'RE AGAINST RUDENESS! SHE THINKS SHE IS FABULOUS BUT REALLY NOT. AND YOU CAN TELL BY JUST LOOKING AT HER...CAN TELL EVEN MORE WHEN SHE SPEAKS. IF YOU ABOSOLUTELY LOVE ENGLISH, TAKE HER, OTHERWISE RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!!!

Go to class prepared, pay attention, participate, & you'll do well. She often reminds us of how fabulous she is, & she is bc she has confidence in everything she does. When she says she is fab, she is reminding us to always be confident. I advise those who find her humor offensive to lighten up, & to never go to a comedy club.

Ok. Dr. Jones is awesome. Don't listen to what anyone else says. Yes she will call on you randomly in class. Yes she expects you to give 100 %. Yes she expects you to think critically. She will constantly say she is right to get you to disagree and argue your point. But it is a good class and as long as you work hard, you'll do fine.

She is an angel. While taking her AA LIT class, I became very ill and had to undergo surgery. She was the only professor that came to my bed side and see how i was doing. Also, when I got back home, she sent me letters of encouragement. She is very smart on her subject matter! She would be back at FMU in the Fall of 2011. Take her class

Dr. jones is awesome. I loved her class. She makes you work hard and she knows it. Make an effort to talk to her after class and she'll appreciate it. I think she's really funny and despite a tough exterior, she cares. Take her class if you get the chance.

Im currently taking Dr.Jones for ENG 250 and I love her ! She makes going to class worth it , she is hilarious and she just wants you to put fourth an effort and think critically ! Dont try to agree with her or give "textbook" answers as long as you give her what you really think the rest of the class is easy to pass !

I loved Ms. Jones Class , She is a very open person and she is HILARIOUS! She's willing to help out if you dont understand. For my first assignment I admitted that I slightly plagiarized and she gave me an hour to re-submit the assignment to her with my own thoughts ! overall she's great !

OKAY!!!! This was my very first class, my first semester (after transferring in) and on day one.....She scared the hell out of me and I think the entire class. Day two: she says " of look, I already weeded out who wasn't going to make it!" Hands down, best professor at FMU! I actually nominated her as professor of the year! PLEASE TAKE! She rocks!!

Best teacher ever! She most definitely makes you work for your grade, but she's always more than happy to help you. She covers a lot of material during lecture, so attendance is essential to pass. I would absolutely take her class again!

Dr. Jones is a great professor ! I received my very first A in English, in her class. Be prepared for class. Get the necessary materials ! Don't use your cell phone ! Ask for help if needed ! Be attentive & engage in classroom discussions. She wants to see all of her students do well , but it's up to each student what their destiny will be.

She is the best and you will do great in her class she is always accessible outside of class. The only way you can fail is if you don't do the work. Anytime she has office hours please go and see her because she has helpful information waiting. Just do the work and ask for help if needed and be sure to read read read!!

Made me a better scholar. It pushed me to both analyze and think more. She taught me that being a thinker isn't enough. You have to sit and work through the text. She requires more of you than the bare minimum and that means you shouldn't take her class "for fun" but she's a great Professor.
