She is a very good teacher and fun!! She really just goes with the flow which i enjoy a lot. There is a lot of paper work but in the end it's well worth all of the topics and everything. DONT buy the book. I bought it and have not cracked it open at all.

Professor Davis is wonderful. She is very nice. Very easy with her grading, but you do have to study for her test. But it's not hard, she give you the information you need to study with.

Great Teacher! She was very fair and easy going. She wants you to succeed. All you have to do is study the material she gives you. Class was interesting. If you get A's on the tests she might give you a break and let you off the hook on writing papers. Easy Class!

Prof. Davis is amazing teacher to take online. You have to read the chapters,take the tests, participate in the discussion and you pass. As long as you do your work you are in. Some discussions are a bit long, but fun to write because of the topics they involve. I recommend taking her if you are taking psych online.

Great professor. She's really laid back and the class is an easy A, but you learn a lot in it. If you have to take psych, she makes it completely painless. if you do well on the tests, you pretty much have no other assignments to do besides reading the chapters.

She is the best and seriously if you dont pass your just extremely lazy! She tells you EXACTLY whats going to be on the test all you have to do is study what she gives you and she gives extra credit...I had a blast in this class!

This professor was amazing, she truly cares about you. She was hilarious and made the class fun. There was very little homework, the test questions came straight from the study guides, and the are plenty of extra credit opportunities.

Prof. Davis was great. Her class was enligtening. My class was a mix of younger & older students and she did a great job keeping us all engaged. You can get by without the book. I also recommend taking this class with Human Growth & Development, a lot of the info will overlap. She is really down to earth. Take the class, you'll pass it! AWalk

Can't say enough good things about this professor. I took the online class in the spring. If you do the extra credit and read each chapter you will do great. She was extremely flexible with me when I was stuck in a snow storm up north and had no textbook. That was sent to Florida! Take her class you will love her!

SUPER EASY CLASS. If you want to learn something, study on your own, but if you want an easy A, here's how: Show up-lots of xtra credit but only IN CLASS. Tests are exactly the same questions as in-class quizes (not same order tho) and she posts them online so SAVE THE ANSWERS (which she will also give in class). Lazy, apathetic, biased, but easy.

Professor Davis is truly a gifted person. She has as way of connecting with her online students that makes them feel like they are taking the course in person. She is patient, understanding, organized, respects differing opinions and immensely fair. She goes out of her way to be accommodating and is very quick to respond to e-mail. A+++

Great professor, her classes are interesting and very relevant. Tests aren't too difficult, but there is a presentation required on a disorder. It's easy to pay attention in her class, no daydreaming required to pass the time.

Easy class yes. Informative no. If you are a Christain you will find some of the disscussions inappropriate. Talks about sex and way to much personal information. Didn't learn anything I didn't already know. Waste of my money. But for some reason you have to take PSY for many fields of study.

I absolutely love this class, but it is not for the faint of heart. Discussions can be very adult in nature, but thought provoking. There is one group project to do, 3 exams, 2 article reviews. Extra credit opportunities available if you put the effort forth. This class is better than I anticipated. Take her, you will NOT regret it.

The class was always interesting and fun. She truly cares about her students. The quizzes and questions can be difficult, but she is more than accommodating. The quizzes were posted to the online and counted as extra credit. Overall take her!!. She isn't trying to make you fail. Personally she helped me understand myself better. Loved the class!!!

Professor Davis is amazing. She always responds to emails within 1-3 days. She gives extra credit assignments and allows you to make up your work (with reasonable excuse). Just don't be lazy,read your book, do the work, and you should pass. I passed with an A.

I chose this professor based on the good reviews from this site. She was a great teacher and made the class fun. Some of the other comment are correct in saying that the chapter on sex is her favorite. Overall I would recommend people to take her class.

She is a very good teacher and person. She explains things very well. She loves it if you are outspoken and speak up in class. The tests are not hard if you review the study guides that she gives you. BUT she likes working in groups, which I hate. So if you don't enjoy group work, don't take this class. if you do, make sure your group doesn't suck.

Outstanding this is my first year in college and psychology seemed really scary but she gives you exactly what you need to study in quizzes. Read the chapters, study the quizzes and you can't fail. As long as you make an effort she will pass you.

She very nice and helpful, tells what you need to know for the quiz and for the exam. Only problem is she gives way to much questions for the exam. but overall very cool teacher to have.

Professor Davis is AWESOME! HOTT as all get out, and extremely helpful. She has a hard time sometimes keeping the class on schedule and topic, but she makes up for it in easiness and helpfulness. AMAZING PROFESSOR! Take her, you won't be disappointed. There are 2 exams (she gives you a practice exam online which is the same questions that are on the test, same goes for the final), a final and a group project. So easy and she is the best professor.

The class was cornerstone, with a focus on psychology. Professor Davis is very open, intelligent, and clear. We were required to participate in GPS, we worked in groups to compete a project of our own choosing setting up an event or trip for example, and we completed individual presentations on a chapter in the book.

Cornerstone with Professor Davis was incredible! She is so funny and sweet. She will help you if you need her to but she likes her students to help each other as well. She allows students to be creative with their projects and assignments and she grades pretty leniently. Overall, amazing course.

AMAZING TEACHER. TEST WERE EASY JUST STUDY. Most funniest teacher ive ever had. If you do good in her class she doesnt give some assignment to the kids who get A's :). Eloquent in her lectures. Always has a smile on her face and is able to relate with all students in her class. Overall one of the best professors I have ever had. She knows knows all the psychology lingo well. Two exams, one power point presentation and extra credit quizzes.

She's a great person and make lectures interesting and funny, but she does way too much group work. I don't remember ever taking an in class quiz by myself. I know it sounds easy, but when it came time for the tests I felt like it hurt me because group quizzes aren't as challenging as completing them alone. Stay away if you don't like group work!

I took this class to get some credits for my General Studies program. I had no idea what to expect in a course like Psychology. Taking it with professor Davis was the best decision that I could've made.

Professor Davis is the sweetest and is very understanding. Always willing to help and talk. I loved this course however there wasnt much assignments and most of your grade is based on how well you did on the quizzes for each chapter. A tip I would give for this course is to not get lazy with the quizzes as they might take up to an hour to complete

One of the best teachers I've ever had. She's extremely passionate about psychology, and cares about all of her students. She frequently has interesting conversations with the class, and her lectures are quick and helpful. Just be prepared for a group project PowerPoint presentation. It's not that difficult, but you'll need to do your research.

I've taken two other psych classes, and this one is by far the best. Not only is the textbook interesting, the discussions are interesting and relevant to life. There is one 40 question quiz and one discussion due every week(for the online class). 1 Final group project, 95 question final and 25 question common final. Not hard if you pace yourself.

She is sooo sweet! Professor Davis is really good at opening the minds of students by relating the course material to real life examples. She has quizzes and exams on each chapter, but as long as you are keeping up with the reading they are not difficult. There was one group project. She also offers a lot of extra credit opportunities.

I took her online honors class spring of 2020 because that is all that was left when I scheduled. I was a bit worried about the "honors" label at first, but Professor Davis was one of the best professors I have ever had! She made everything easy to understand and wanted to make sure everyone was comfortable with the material. 10/10 would recommend.

One of the best teachers. Her lectures are very helpful and teach a lot about the real world. trust me you won't be a sleep in here class ever. Grades are mostly made up of short quizzes about each unit with multiple attempts on each one. Honestly an easy class if you show up and do the work.

Dr. Davis was always very understanding over email, and she reviewed content with me on Zoom. She gives good PowerPoints that summarize the textbook. There are lot of discussions and a short quiz every week. Nothing was proctored in my course, and she gave great extra credit opportunities. Make sure to review the textbook!

She's a great professor I took her for psychology and she is honestly one of the sweetest, laid back, and caring teachers. Her class is very straightforward quizzes on each chapter which she covers in class and gives you a cheat sheet to use a midterm and a final. Which are all easy. There is a big group project but it's not hard at all.

Love her! She is so kind and respects her students. I took her online Honors course, and if you attend all lectures except one and completed all of your quizzes on time you are exempt from the final. Her lectures were my favorite and the most interesting I had last semester by far, so I never missed anyway. She's super cool. :)

If you need to take PSY2012 take it with her. The class is very easy, the text book is free and the tests aren't proctored. This class is very easy to pass as long as you do all the assignments. couldn't recommend her more!

Very lenient & understanding. Do well on the quizzes & attend class, she'll exempt you from the final exam. Free textbook, open-book quizzes & midterm. Only negative is she sometimes make inappropriate, out-of-date comments like another reviewer mentioned. Don't think it's malicious, just a generational thing. But it's no biggie.

I took this class online for Dual enrollment. Amazing teacher! Understanding, caring, and a fair grader. However I must say, she does reply a little later (concerning emails). If you ever need anything or have any issues be sure to vocalize yourself, don't put it on the back burner-- she's very understanding and will be willing to hear you out.

Super easy class. She provides powerpoints. The Book is openstax. All the quizzes and Final are openbook. I took this class with Orgo 1 and A&P1. Put effort into your discussions. She responds quickly to messages.

In class she goes through lectures and then your homework is an open book test and then an easy discussion with one peer review where you comment on someone else's post which is super easy. If you go to all but 1 class and have a good grade she exempts you from the final. Awesome and funny and kind!!!

Dr. Davis is a phenomenal professor. She doesn't just instruct, she instills and gets you engaged. Additionally, she legitimately shows care in interest in you as an individual.
