Ms. Loftus was great!!! She made me want to attend class every Sat. morning (which is not an easy task mind you..) & I learned plenty about religions that I would've never known before, as my own beliefs were challenged simultaneously. I heavily recommend her class as she is always super funny and laidback.

EASYYYYY! i recommend everyone to take this class as an easy humnaity credit. Easy quizes directly out of the book.and midterma and final directly out of the quizes. there are two projects (writing assignments) but very easy. No way you can fail. TAKE!

All tests can be retaken up to 3 times and its still the same questions. discussions are easy, you must be very active. The assignments are interesting. However, for the essays and assignments she does not justify the grades, and instructions are very general. If youre not carful youll get a B.

Awesome! All tests & quizes were online--Lecture in person. She is very entertaining and makes learning about religion interesting. Loves to show Simpson's episodes as examples. Easy A++++ :)

Great teacher. Answers any and all questions you have. Shows the occasional 'Simpsons' and 'Futurama' episodes. Quizzes, Tests, paper.. alll easy. Can't go wrong with this prof, seriously. Basically if you haven't picked up on what everyone else has written so far then you don't deserve to take her class, lol.

This has to be one the best and coolest instructors I have ever taken. Her exams are super easy and that goes for the quizzes too. No worries. We watched a few Simpson episodes that were not only funny, but tied in well with her topics. I would definitely take her class. Super Instructor!

Prof. Lotus is a funny prof. She really loves to talk about the different religions. She does a lot of powerpoints, so take good notes and listen to what she says. Super easy class, had a ball in her class.

I took the online class. It was great! Any questions I had were answered right away. The class is interesting and easy mixed with the right amount of challenging that makes you feel good about yourself when you're done, because you got it right! Highly recommended for ANYONE! Awesome class!

ONLINE COURSE It is very difficult to get clarity on any assignments because you are limited to email communication. This professor does not accept phone calls. If you have any urgent questions, make sure you keep in mind it make take a few days for her to reply.Once she replied it was helpful but still a lot of confusion at times.

I am taking her online course. She does not respond her emails very quickly and when she finally does her response doesn't always answer my question completely. You have to read the book to do well on the tests and quizzes. The discussions are super easy. Shes okay.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TAKING THIS CLASS ONLINE! Overlapping deadlines for quizzes and discussions. 7 quizzes + Mid+Final exam, all multiple choice. Drops lowest scoring quiz. 2 attempts for each quiz with a large time limit. Most quizzes have 10 questions or less. Hardest part is writing a 7 page research paper. Easy A with reasonable workload.

She is great really helps you get a good grade. The work is super easy and very minimal. I like an entire month of the online class but she let me redo all my assignments so I could pass the class. Take her!

Definitely not an easy A - she makes you work for it. You must read the chapters in the book to understand what her lectures are about.

I passed really easily. I missed more than half of the classes for a summer camp and still wound up with an A. The last test we took was considered the "final" and I didn't even do the research paper assignment. Not the best teacher but does decent, is really laid back and shows a lot of Futurama for fun, I'd definitely take it again.

This class and her explanation of everything is so interesting. It's impossible to lose focus and be bored. She's awesome!

She's a great teacher - I don't know about her online classes but in person at least, I think she is phenomenal. She is completely unbiased when she goes over each religion and actually makes them pretty interesting to learn about. Class was easy and she's an easy grader. Highly recommend this teacher. I literally ended up with a 100% final grade

Prof. Loftus is very clear with you on Day 1 what is expected in order to pass her class. Her lectures were funny & she is understanding with time management when quizzes/tests are due. She's flexible, although a little forgetful with opening quizzes online but she gives you extra time to complete them so one can't complain. Would take her again!

Such an easy honors class to take! All you have to do is show up and take notes. The assignments are done online and the answers are given to you by checking the "Check my work" button. There is only one paper in this course which is 2-3 pages and a short response for each assignment. Overall definitely take her.

Honestly, Professor Loftus is one of the best professors I have ever taken! Although this is my first humanities class, I really enjoyed it! I took a blended class, so I did most of the reading on my own though an online portal. The quizzes covered the reading material. There was also a paper due in the end of class. Highly recommend taking her!!!

It was an easy A; however, she does not follow the syllabus. Assignments were given on a weekly basis. We had no idea what we were going to do next and she assigned the most work the week before finals. Overall not a bad teacher but unorganized.

I just started the class but I love her already. She is very enthusiastic and engaging, really cares, and makes the class a lot interesting. The assignments are very clear and she tells you in class what is due and she accepts questions about anything. She responds to emails always and tells you everything u need to know. Take her!!!!!!!!!!!

Her class is an easy A if you do the discussions and the very few quizzes. she is super chill and gets to the point. she is also very fun and energetic. some might say she is a little all over the place, but if you know what assignments are due you should be good. she is also very lenient. I'd take her again if i had to.

So... she's beyond disorganized and we never really knew what was due or what was being taught. She seems chaotic but chill at the same time. Easy A, never knew what was going on but I did what was available and got an A. Wouldn't take her again because it was a little stressful not knowing what our assignments were for the week.

The presence of Professor Loftus was incredibly comforting. When she opened her mouth in class, I instantly felt at ease despite my initial nervousness. She will crack wonderful jokes throughout the entire lesson. I recommend.

A mess. That is what she is. I had an A in her .class and i did not know what was going on most of the time. And I mean this in a bad way. She is so disorganized. Her assignments and D2l is all over the place and aren't clear about assignments at all. Book and her lectures are practically useless. Run away.

Easy grader. Do the work, get an A. But if you're a serious humanities major, do not take her class. We barely covered the supposed work in the syllabus. It seemed like she knew a lot about the subject (when I met her only once in class for the whole session). But she was disorganized and had a bad work ethic.

She was great at first and graded normally until the last two weeks where she gave me a 0 on an assignment I turned in and gave me feedback on it. I tried to fix it but the assignment disappeared but the 0 was still there and I couldn't reach her for the next two weeks and I had to basically annoy her to change the grade bc I was failing.

Prof Loftus is very much laid back. She's nice but if you care to learn about humanities maybe avoid her but I just wanted to satisfy my humanities requirement so did not mind how easy this class was. Do the work and you'll for sure get a A. Would def recommend especially if you have more challenging courses in the semester like I did.

I took two religion classes with professor Loftus about 23 years ago. I loved her classes. I was actually sitting in her class when the twin towers got hit on 9/11. I still think about her class, all these years later.

Professor Loftus is a great professor who is kind, funny and respectful. She is easy-going and will give you an extension on an assignment if you need it. I would definitely take her again!

Amazing professor, her lectures were entertaining and was mainly video based instead of using the textbook. Was discussion heavy and the final project may take some time, but she is very helpful. Attendance isn't mandatory but I wouldn't recommend skipping cause she goes over instructions for future assignments. Would def take her again tbh.
