first day of class: "half of you will drop out, and if you dont drop out, half of you will fail" Very derogatory teacher for such a difficult class. Tests are NOTHING like the study guides, and she doesnt grade on a curve, which hurts ALOT!
She explained everything really well. Classwork was directly related to tests, as was homework. I never even opened the book to do homework, but i got an easy A. Just take notes & show up to class & you'll do fine. Took Landre before her, & Schwegel is a walk in the park compared to her.
The class was challenging, but she explained the material wel and was extrememely helpful. I had trouble with the tests, but that's just because I'm not good at math, haha. The way she works the grading system helps balances out the tests, though, so I managed to pull an A--I couldn't believe it! I would definitely recommend her.
The homework directly relates to the exams. Exams are fair, and the grading system is easy to live with. Lectures are excellent. Ms. Schwegel is Extremely approachable if a student doesn't understand the material.
Would NOT explain any problems that I had. Would NOT cover any material twice when asked by the class. I would NOT recommend this teacher. I dropped the last day possible, average grade of the class was a 32% at that point.

She was awesome. I really enjoyed her class. She was very helpful
she was very helpful whenever i needed help. really sweet lady. i took the summer class and it wasn't bad at all. i actually had a life taking this class, and i even got an a. just take notes, do a bit of the homework, and study before the test and you will do okay!!!
Very good teacher. Loves what she is teaching. Is very willing to help.
Jacquelyn is very nice and easy to get along with. She is not very demanding of her students but expects you will read the material. She is very fair and likes to experiment with her teaching style. The team work sucked quite a bit because of people social loafing but as a whole the class was very beneficial and she is a great instructor.
She was way too easy, but didn't always hand back asignments on time so we would know how we were doing. All in all she was a good teacher and I learned a lot from her.
Great class to take if you want to be an elementary school teacher. Mrs. Schwegel is very helpful & her class is easy if you show up & take notes. Tests aren't a big percentage of grade, which is good if you're not a good test taker, but it also means that you have to do the other work in the class, which is easy. Great teacher!
She is a great teacher. the class isnt too hard, you just need to pay attention and do the work.
Good intructor. Explains things one step at a time so everyone gets it, but keeps the class moving along so you're not zoning out.
This teacher is flippin awesome! She actually makes math interesting and has a good sense of humor. The class puts u in the place of the students we'll someday teach so its cool to see how much they dont understand what we see as really simple. She is supposedely not teaching 17b in fall which sucks! the math dept and her need to change that
The best math teacher ever! I got an A in the class which I never thought was possible in a math class. Explains everything perfectly. Offers help whenever you need it and is vry fair. You have to do your work in this class or you won't pass. She gives you all the tools, YOU just have to apply them. Rearranged my schedule to take her in Math 82.
Good professor who really tries to get the concepts across and help you understand. Spends the last 3 weeks in class mainly on word problems which got old quickly. Sometimes a little convoluted, but usually explains things clearly. In my opinion, the class isn't very difficult. However, over half of the class had dropped by the end of the semester.
An entertaining math teacher is the best way to describe her. She does try her best to get people involved and to help everyone understand, even if its just one student thats struggling on a particular formula. Shes always egar to answer any question, before, durring, or after class. If you can't learn algebra from her, then just give up trying.
Excellent teacher. She does a great job explaining things and will answer any and all questions. I took her class this summer (06) and did not feel overwhelmed at all. You could still have a life with this class. This class was a hybrid so part was online and part was on campus. I would highly recommend this teacher!!
she knows how to teach very well. teaching is a gift and she has it.
excellent teacher... she is very helpful and is very good at teaching the material... would definately recommend
I can't say enough good things about her. She explains all the material so well, you come away totally understanding the material. Gives reviews before each exam and offers tons of extra credit. You get a one question quiz just about everyday but the quiz question is a review question. Drops lowest homework and quiz grade.
Very good teacher but be ready to take notes! Very clear on what needs to be done and how to do it. Just pay attention and you'll pass!
She is by far the best math teacher I've EVER had. She's always available and really explains things until you understand. She doesn't like it when you're late.. so be on time! :)
I took her class online......pretty easy homework.just review the hw and you'll do fine on the test.you get to take it twice.and no.it's no the same question.but very similar to one another.....hw is due every friday.and test are every two week...so you have time to do it whenever.it's pretty easy...you can score 100% on all hw.redo it over
She is so nice, and very willing to work with you! I will definitely take my next math class with her. Math is not easy for me and I actually understood it with her.
Very good class!
Internet Class. Very easy program to use, she is very understanding on hard chapters pushing due dates back. Take the test as many times as you would like, homework 100% if you do it.. all the problems you can re-do until you get it right. Work ahead, if you like. Everything due at 12-midnight. TAKE HER CLASS :)
I haven't had math in over 30 yrs, she helped me every step of the way. Never made me feel stupid. Always helpful, makes herself available, put forth your effort and an A is easy. There is absolutely no reason not to get an A with her unless you just don't study and do the homework. Don't be embarassed to ask questions!! She is GREAT
SHE ROCKS!!!!!!!!ONLINE WAS EASY THERES ALOT OF HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS BUT THE COURSECOMPASS PROGRAM IS GREAT.FIRST TIME I TOOK AN ONLINE CLASS AN I LOVED IT. HOMEWORK AND TEST YOU CAN TAKE IT AS MANY TIME AS YOU WANT. SO ITS AN JACKPOT CLASS..IF U DONT GET AN A..THEN U MUST HAVE SOME PROBLEMS BECAUSE THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN FAIL...YOU CAN START AHEA
She really made learning fun!
This class is terrible... and I am not joking. This class says computer enhanced but I say computer gimped. Niether the teach nor the online portion give adequate lectures so you end up struggling. Plus the book and the teacher speak in only math lingo so learn it. Also there is no late work and she is not willing to help.
She is the best dang teacher ever. I took her because her ratings were the best, and she was great. You do actually have to work. So many kids failed, and I do not understand. If you just STUDY and pay attention and do your homework, you will succeed. I have had horrible math teachers, so we should be lucky to have Jackie.
This class moves rather quickly, but stick with it. Mrs. S answered all my the emails I sent her with questions about the assignment.
This class goes fast, but stick with it. Mrs. S is a great teacher. She answered all the emails I sent her in with questions I had about the assignments.
Hard class, grades tough. Only offered 3 test which were impossible to pass, explains material too quickly as if we already know it. Dont reccomend. Half the class dropped, she also had students break down in class about how hard it was and walk out during test. Ha
Great teacher. The class is hard, but she makes it bearable and easy to pass. She gives lots of extra credit. Do the homework, which is by test, not dayly or weekly and study for the tests (only 3) and you will do well. She is very nice and approachable. best math teacher I've had.
Professor Schwegel is very good at teaching students math who are bad at math. This was the first time I got an A in math since high school. I recommend this instructor to students who aren't good in math and are only taking math because it's a requirement.
AWESOME TEACHER!!! SUPER HELPFUL AND REALLY WANTS HER STUDENTS TO PASS WITH GOOD GRADES AND UNDERSTAND THE MATERIAL! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :)
She is a really cool teacher. She knows her stuff and wants all of her students to do well. THere are plenty of assignments, worksheets and tests to get points from so don't get discouraged if you don't do well on one assignment or test. He examples are easy to follow and she takes you step by step on everything. Have fun, you will like her
Enjoyable class. This professor is an nice lady who wanted to help us to get A grade on the course.
I took this class online. It is pretty easy if you study the material. She is very helpful and understanding. Definitely recommend her for the online class. =)
I took this class online. It was pretty easy. Your grade depends a lot on the final (which is on campus)so make sure to do the study guide! Overall i do recommend this class!
took this professor in spring.hybrid class w/1 meeting once a week (mandatory).thought the teacher was kind of **** cuz i did really good on online quizes and tests.got mostly high B's and A's on all quizes and tests.turned in 95% of hmk. did well on presentation. but got a freaken C! btw she rolls her eyes alot when shes lecturing. dont like it.
Haven't had math class since high school 10 yrs ago. This was my 1st college class in 8 years.Did this class in summer school. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PROF!!Never bought book online very easy to navigate! DO YOUR HOMEWORK! YOU CAN TAKE TEST AND HOMEWORK UNLIMITED TIMES. In person final counts 30%grade.CAN RETAKE ALL TEST BEFORE FINAL FOR 3DAYS! GRADE76%
Extremely helpful, responds to e-mails right away, takes a great deal of pride in explaining the material so you can understand, she does like participation,& will make sure your ?'s are answered to your understanding.Definitely knows her material & knows how to teach it.I loved her & would take her for future classed due to her way of teaching.
Awesome instructor!!!! You'll love her.
I would not have taken this class if I knew I had to take a final in person. I had 81% and ended with a 63% after the final. She takes very long to answer emails not helpful at all. I would never take this class again with this teacher she is not helpful and this is not a easy class at all. I would not tell anyone to take her.
Good teacher, kind of testy sometimes. tests are easy if you do the practice and ask her questions. overall good class, pretty easy.
Nice lady, really good teacher. You're in college; if you can't handle it, go home.
Awesome teacher!!! I love her teaching! She explains things really well and is very helpful. Math is my biggest challenge but having her as an instructor makes math a lot easier to understand. She gives practice tests that are really helpful to prepare for the exams.
Have had her all of my semesters at delta and am going to be so lost without her next semester! :(
Survived calculus with this teacher. Her explanations are CRYSTAL CLEAR, and the tests can be relatively easy if you do all the work/practice. There's some pressure on the final since its comprehensive, but she tells you specifically what questions you'll expect to see from old tests.
I hate/suck at Math. Took internet class.. was easy cuz u can retake all homework/quiz/midterm until you get a good grade before lockout date!! BUT.. If you get a D or F on final you FAIL the class when final only counts for 20% of grade if you get an a-c on final... Didn't buy book online online book.. rarely used it just watched videos for class
Ms Schwegel is an awesome teacher. She really cares about her students.her lessons are explained in a language U can understand. She will take her time 2 answer your questions without an attitude. There R not many teachers that R good at teaching and should quit But She is a master teacher I wish there were more like her
She is really nice and cares for her students. Homework isn't graded but you should do it so you can be ready for the tests. The only complaint is her asking where you where if you're absent, her being late a lot, and going into cal 2 because we finished early.
A very good professor. It was a computer enhanced class, which made it easier to learn. Homework can be finished in class because lectures are not that long. Highly recommended. Try not to miss class.
She is awesome. Be prepared to take a TON of notes. Book is only used for homework assignments, unless you plan on doing the coursework online. She offers plenty of extra credit to help boost grades and is very approachable with all kinds of questions. She made me actually enjoy math.
She is one of the best professors I could have had for math. Her lectures are fun. You do homework cards (2 questions)now and then, weekly hw, and optional practice hw which helps a ton. We had review days before tests. I wish she would teach all the other maths because her style of running the class is kind of chill, but you learn so much.
Professor Schwegel is extremely hard. Friends who said she's really great, were already great at math. If you like to challenge yourself, you should take Schwegel, but I regret taking her because my G.P.A. dropped so much, considering this is a 4 unit class.
Professor Schwegel is extremely hard. Friends who said she's great, were already good at math. If you like challenging yourself, you should take Schwegel. But I regret taking her class because my G.P.A. dropped so much, considering this is a 4 unit class. She is a great professor, but you've been warned.
She was awesome! It was alot of work because of it being a summer class but she made it managable
Great professor, very organized, fast responses on emails, made the class doable for the summer. Because its taken in the summer there's an assignment due everyday except for weekends. Online lectures can be watched anytime for reviews. Just do good on the assignments, quizzes and pass the final and you should get a reasonable grade.
HANDS DOWN ONE OF THE BEST MATH PROFESSORS AT DELTA. I wish I took her for 38A. She's super clear and concise and super approachable when you need clarification. Her index cards keep you in check and ready to tackle her exams.
She's amazing, seriously. Her lecture is crystal clear. HW cards are tricky, and webassign HW is REALLY difficult. Exams on the other hand, you have to work hard to get an A. She inspires me to become a math professor. You will learn a LOT from her. She prepares you for Lindborg's classes.
Thought it would be hard class, not at all. Just listen to lecture, write down notes, if you need help go to her office. GREAT teacher, never confusing. ractice tests similar to real tests. Got A's on all my tests.
Easy going, keeps the class motivated. Looks that she enjoys what she's doing. Gets right away what the student is asking and give an example that makes sure the student understands the material. I'm very happy with her teaching.
SHE'S AWESOME! Mrs. S hands out study guides before exams, also has review days before the test, where you can ask her anything about the test. Even solves hw & study guide questions for you. So helpful, need help go in her office or email her. Hw & attendance mandatory, how else will you learn? Makes math so easy. #TeamSchwegel #shesaboss #turnup
She is terrible. Her lectures are bad so if you don't have good math skills already don't take her. Expect her tests to not resemble the class work
If you are going into a field where you need to use calculus, I would recommend Mrs. Schwegel's class. She uses very clear real-world examples that are easy to understand, and I quickly started to see many ways these techniques would be helpful in my own areas of interest (electrodynamics/physics). It's a challenging class, but it's very rewarding.
I enjoyed her class!
Awesome class. I failed Statistics 2 times at Modesto Junior College and decided to take it online during the summer. There was a mandatory in class final but there are no surprises. She was always quick to answer questions. I 100% approve.
I loved Schwegel! She's so helpful and she explains things clearly. My class was a hybrid class where we did all of our work online except for tests, so she hardly did any lecturing except on specific topics. Tests aren't hard if you study. Get 4's and 5's on HW cards and note checks. Those will def help your grade.
While she does lecture and explain things in each chapter, she doesn't necessarily cover everything in the book; rather, she doesn't explain enough from the book. She gives people attitudes and rolls her eyes a lot. If she isn't passionate about what she is doing, then it's better to stay away from her class. I do not recommend her course.
One of the few math teachers in my life that has been able to clearly explain things and will take the time to review things with the class if it's needed. One of if not the best math teacher I've had up to this point. That doesn't mean the class will be any more easy, she just gives you the tools to succeed if you take the class seriously.
My favorite teacher at Delta. One of the best professors for pre-calc and calc. I only wish I could've taken her for the entire math series. Her lectures are clear and concise. Some people don't like asking questions because they get offended when she chuckles or inadvertently rolls her eyes. Kinda ridiculous in my opinion. Really great Professor!
Professor Schwegel was pretty much one of the best math professors I've ever had. Her lectures were helpful and it was funny how she acted towards annoying students. The homework assignments were harder than the exams, but you still had to work for your grade- which was not too difficult. I highly recommend her classes. Questions are encouraged.
Most helpful math teacher there is! Her explanations and lectures are the best. Exams were a breeze.
SCHWEGEL IS THE BEST. Her lectures are very clear and she makes herself very available to all her students. She doesn't make you feel dumb if you ask questions either. It's not an easy A, but it's VERY doable with hard work and studying. Class is not boring because she's funny. Without a doubt if you plan on taking calculus, Schwegel is the answer!
I took this class online and it was a lot of work. Assignments are due weekly. The videos for this class are VERY HELPFUL. There are 4 print-out assignments that you must complete and turn in. These worksheets are great for studying when it comes to the final exam so be sure to pick them up from her.
Math 12 online with Prof. Schlegel is the way to go. Pretty easy class, but it is very time consuming so be prepared to sit down and do your work for hours. If you fall behind then it will be hard to catch up.
I'm not going to lie, this subject is hard. If you are taking her online course, just be prepare to teach yourself. You can always ask her for help, she is there when you need her. Take advantage of her office hours, she will be there to help you and email her as much as you can for clarity. My advice, do your ALL your HW and work ahead of time.
Professor Schwegel is awesome! I would definitely take her for any math class. She assigns a good amount of work but teaches very clear in a way that you can understand. She's a very patient person. I would recommend taking her classes in person but she is very willing to help you in her online courses as well.
If you are not good at math DO NOT take , she skips "easy" stes when teaching; which makes it confusing. Very sassy and rude when asking for help. Tests are SO hard, no notes or multiple choice. Worst class I've ever taken!
I took Schwegel's online course and it's easy if you're willing to try. You mainly just watch section videos and complete homework assignments (due every sunday). There's also three graded worksheets and an in person final. This course can be a little challenging but she's very helpful, she's always at her office hours and answers questions.
Professor Schwegel gives multiple explanations, but she goes over them quickly. She makes you get into little groups where she picks you group as if your in grade school. Not my style of learning. When students ask questions she is usually rude. I learned more from getting outside math help, and going over notes from when she did lecture throughly.
Amazing teacher she is really helpful. Some times she can come off strong but as semester continues she is not. She will let us literally do the online homework in class and will go around if you need her. If not then just do the assignment once you are finished you can leave early if you want. I would take her again. I do not even like math.
She just wants her students to pass her class. Online homework, she gives multiple times to do it. She is very helpful and caring for her students. I truly enjoy her class. I highly recommend her to all students. TAKE HER!
I ended with an 89.92% and there was nothing I could do to change it... it was very frustrating because i worked really hard. NO MERCY. Only .08% away from an A... not very nice!
Did nothing to help you success in the class. No study guide for the finals. Useless workshops do not take this class online you will fail, unless you already know Math very well. Rude
I loved her as a professor, yeah she is snarky and can come off as rude but thats just how she is (her sense of humor) and you can't be sensitive about it. She is extremely helpful and wants you to succeed. Go to office hours, email her whatever you need she will help. I loved her lectures, she is a very good and clear explainer of the material.
Online course requires you to take good notes on HW with every single step on how to solve the problems unless you have good memory for formulas and such. Notes will be useful for midterms and final. Very time consuming by the way. Good notes is the key.
Calculus is not easy, but her way of teaching helped me learn and get good grades. She is good at explaining the material, and always left one day before an exam for review. I disliked the classwork, because they were like pop quizzes. However, she let us use our notes and encourage us to work in groups. Reviewing after each class helps a lot
Math has never been an easy subject for me, but Professor Schwegel really motivated me to do my best. She has a lot of practice material. Her online class is very easy to navigate and she is quick to respond when you need help.
I took Schwegal for the summer and it was a difficult course, but every question that I had she answered it very clearly. As long as you do your homework and make sure you understand the material, you'll pass the class!
If you have never taken stats before I wouldn't recommend taking this online. I took stats in high school, and this was still pretty difficult. Make sure you take really good notes and watch the videos. Do all the extra credit bc it goes towards your final. Email her with ?s she's really good at getting back to you!
Mrs Schwegel is an amazing teacher. She makes her lectures easy to understand and wants you to ask questions. Shes very caring and willing to help you as long as you want to help yourself. I recommend her to everyone and anyone.
I took math 12 online. If you're good at math, you will survive online. If you struggle with math don't take it online. I like the computer program we used. It tells you what all you're supposed to do that day. Homework and quizzes can be done an unlimited number of times. She is easy to reach, and she responds to emails in a reasonable time.
For being someone who's not very good at math, this professor was a HUGE help. She explains everything so clearly and so effectively. She does, however, give a lot of homework but I promise you, your hard work will pay off in your grade. She's willing to help those who want to help themselves. I would definitely take her again.
She is the best professor i have ever had she should be awarded as best professor indeed because she is what i call a math magician she is very helpful caring and makes you work to learn for yourself she organizes extra office hours if she learns that students are struggling very well behaved, talented perfect timing, never late, influences student
She was sooo helpful, funny, and her lectures were great! She's explains things realy well, and is even more helpful when and if you need to ask her additional questions.
I love her lectures. I haven't had a good math teacher like her in FOREVER. The class and work is not confusing at all. TAKE HER CLASS IF YOU STRUGGLE WITH MATH. I love how much emphasis she puts into her lectures; makes you remember everything. She's firm on deadlines. She is AMAZING at explaining. She shows you a lot of ways to do a problem.
Lots of assignments. This class is TIME CONSUMING. Assignments are easy because of great format for lectures and videos. Infinite tries on homework and quizzes. You can ace every quiz and homework. Three alright question ranging on 10 questions with a, b,c,d. etc. One midterm and in person final. Easy to get A if you work real hard for it. Loved it
Professor Schwegel is a sincerely focused in helping you be successful. The lectures are amazing and targeted to build your math skills rapidly. She is very clear on the criteria of each test to be successful and provides extra credit opportunities. This is the second class I've taken and recommend that a 92G student should consider her w/92S!!
Her online class is very hands-off, which means you have to learn via atrocious MyMathLab lectures every week. I can't stress enough how unhelpful these are. DO NOT take this class online if you struggle with math. You automatically get a D or F if you score less than 50% on the final. It seems like a low bar to clear, but my class average was 41%.
probably the best math professor in terms of teaching you the material. go to class, do your online homework and study f0r the final!!
I took professor Schwegel's math92g online. Math is by far my worst subject, and I was worried about passing. There is a lot of homework, and you have to score at least a 50% on the final to pass regardless of your grade prior. She is easy to get ahold of, and offers extra credit. With hard work this class is passable.
This professor is amazing. She drops four lowest assignments and one of your lowest exam scores will replaced if you did better on final exam. She gives study guides, teaches the material clearly, and available during office hours. As long as you study and PRACTICE the study guides, homework, and notes you will pass this class for sure.
I loved this class. I am so glad I took Statistics with the Math 70 lab. I didnt love how MyStatsLab phrased Some of the homework questions, but Professor Schwegels lectures/labs for the 70 section always cleared things up. You could do the homework over and over until you got it right, same with the quizzes. Highly recommended professor & class
Professor Schwegel is an amazing lecturer. She really cares about her students. There are times where she will use up the whole class time to help with any struggles before a test. I don't think I have anything much to say other than to take her!!!
She is probably the only teacher youll ever need and can cater to everyones learning type. This was by far the best math teacher I have ever had. As long as youre a regular student that wants to get better she will be more than good enough for you. Please if youre even on the fence just take her shes the best.
Super helpful and provides clear instructions on how to solve problems
Content Assignments: 5% Homework: 35% Quizzes: 30% Engagement/Participation: 10% Final Exam: 20%
She tells you everything that you need to know for the homework and the tests. She's always happy to help and will let you take a test more than once. She's an amazing professor.
I have taken Professor Schwegel 2 different times now. She's always willing to help her students, cares for her students. Online lectures through Zoom really helped
TAKE! Always willing to help her students, great feedback and lectures. Weekly assignments, but if you attend lectures and take notes you'll be fine. The website gives you unlimited attempts and there is only a 5% late penalty. Responds quickly. Comprehensive final EASY as long as you keep up. Caring and funny at times during lectures :)
I took a late-start class with Professor Schwegel. Her class is easy as long as you keep up with the assignments. There's homework every week day so make sure to be on top of that. Usually takes an hour to do it, super easy. She also lets you retake your exams many times too. NO EXCUSES GUYS. Take her class. You're welcome.
The Professor is super nice, and helpful. You have to take math 12 w/ 70 support. It's a lot of work, but it's worth it because the Professor and classmates are helpful. You should go to all the meetings if you can. She goes over the material and will do practice problems. She'll stop to make sure no one has any questions. Study groups are helpful.
I'm notoriously bad at math, but being that this class was my last math class I was going to finish strong. Professor Schwegel is one of those very rare math professors that genuinely cares about the success of her students and makes the material as easy as possible to comprehend. Definitely take this professor if you can.
I've taken her for Algebra, and Finite Mathematics, and I wish I could have her for all my math classes. She cares, provides feedback, and is down to help outside class. The one thing I would criticize is that she grades pretty harshly on participation, which feels a bit tricky in an online course, especially when you're doing all the work.
I took her course, and it was very straightforward, and comprehensible. I think she is a great teacher and she cares about our development. She didn't teach unnecessary things, whenever there was a calculator shortcut we learnt that instead of doing everything on paper. The quizzes were difficult, but we could use our notes even during the final.
Amazing teacher, willing to meet during office hours. She explains the basics very well and straightforwardly. the homework load is quite a lot and challenging, but that's math. The videos posted is a Youtube lecture and the second is her going over step-by-step. The finals are only 8% but 3-4 exams is worth about 42% of the overall grade.
Took late start, very fast-paced, but straightforward. Just make sure to take really good notes for the quizzes. There were 2 attempts for the final and she takes the higher score. Also, there's a 5% late penalty for homework. Most of mine was late, but I still ended up with an A. Group work was just filling out a worksheet together and submitting.
Professor Schwegel is an amazing math professor, and makes Calculus actually fun. She goes in depth on all her lectures, and will answer any and all questions with infinite patience. There are some extra credit opportunities, so seize those opportunities while you can. She's friendly, cares for deeply for her students, and wants you to succeed.
Professor Schwegel was amazing. She is a very demanding professor but is very interested and cares about her students. Always responds quickly to emails; if you need to review something, just contact her. She's difficult, but easily the best math professor at Delta.
Professor Schwegel was an awesome professor. She was straightforward and she wants you to achieve your goals. She's very quick to respond to emails, and making an appointment with her to discuss topics I didn't understand was a breeze. Hands down, she is a great professor to have at Delta.
great
Ms.Schwegel is an amazing professor. If you do the homework yourself, show up to office hours here and there, show up to every class, pay attention in class, and study to make sure you know the concepts you will get a good grade. Calculus is not an easy subject and it is very challenging, you need to put the time in yourself. Don't slack off.
Did very well the first month. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I didn't do a lot of homework the last few months and that dropped my grade. I emailed her and she was so caring and understanding. I sadly failed it as there was too much hw to complete and tests dropped me. She's reasonable at hw but gives a lot. But she cares and it shows, take her!
Professor Schewgel is very caring and attentive. She responded right away when I requested a meeting. I recommend Schewgel 100 percent if you are going for a math major. Her class is a lot of work, but she is an great teacher. It is worth it.
Schwegel is an incredible math professor. Her lectures are clear, and she genuinely cares about student success. The workload is challenging, but using unstuckstudy and the provided resources made a big difference.
💯 she is a very good professor
I was in the hybrid class, so the lecture portion was online. But Professor Schwegel was my favorite, even though I'm an English major! Hw can be overwhelming, but she cares and offers so much help if you ask! Study and do the practice tests for the exams. Grades get affected by the smallest things, and the final exam is only worth 10%.
YOU need to be aware of the PERFECTIONALIST LEVEL graphs. She makes you graph everything on a BLANK SHEET of paper. You NEED to manually draw the x and y axes every time, make the lines EXACTLY match its multiplicity, label squares individually, and make sure that both sides of the function are symmetric from the vertex or you will be penalized...
