He is really a great Professor! After not being in school for 16 years he made pre-cal seem easy. He makes himself available for his students and will even go out of his way to accommodate you. He is definitely a nice guy and funny too. Just come to class and do the homework and its very possible to get an A in his class. Take HIm!! You will learn!

I loved coming to Mr. Francois' class! He is really passionate about what he does and actually cares about us. He will challenge your mind but it isn't anything you cannot handle. You can talk to him freely and is willing for office appts. any time! He is funny and gives extra points here and there which helps your grade. Enjoy!

Great professor If math is not your best subject then you should take him.Just do all your homework and don't miss a class you shoould be fine. His test are fair and the final is easy.

Very easy he doesnt use the book at all but its really good to have it incase you didnt understand what you learned because he has to move very fast. but he is always willing to help you out of class. and he is always making jokes and giving out free points like crazy. i loved my class with him it was so easy.

The only way to NOT do well in this class is to try to fail. He gives so much xtra credit during class that is used towards exams (I've never had an exam grade below 105%). He's clear, he'll answer any question during or after class, and he's very thorough. Definitely take him!

He's a great professor. Go to class and you will have nothing to worry about. He does give a lot of homework but he cuts it down if you say something. He gives a review before the test and the test is the same as the review, just different numbers. I recommend him. Don't blame the professor if you don't put the time or effort into this course.

my last math class was 15 years ago and math was not my favorite subject to began with, but professor Jacques helped me not only pass his class but also enjoying the subject. he cares about his students and he actually makes you beleive that you can do it. he is and amazing instructor. attendance is very important.

GREAT TEACHER ! Taking him again for MAC 1105. Take HIM you won't regret it. He gives reviews for every test. I got a B in the class only because i missed the review and didn't care to try. But passed the final with a B and it replaced that grade :)

HE is awesome, He is very passionate about math. All test are multiple choice and he does not make u feel stupid if you ask a question.He is always willing to help and I love how he always dose a recall of previous sections, that we should already know, but dont remember.Highly recommended

By far the BEST math teacher/professor I have had. He explains the work better than the book. If he covers the material and you don't understand he will ALWAYS ask if there are any questions. If you don't understand then say so or you will be giving inadequate reviews for not taking advantage of his assistance. Just wish he taught Statistics.

DO NOT BUY THE TEXTBOOK! With that out of the way, he is a great teacher. Knows the subject very well and will explain anything a student needs to know. Also tries to relate the math to real life. He often makes jokes and, even though they aren't funny, they keep the class light and fun. Work is done in Mathlab. Tests are fairly average.

The best math class I've taken since high school! He is amazingg! Cracks jokes, teaching style is clear and simple! He cares about his students! Lots of extra credit opportunities, and drops lowest test score. I failed 2 tests due to laziness but still passed with a B! DO THE REVIEW SHEETS AND TAKE HIM!

Prof. Francois is a great teacher. I took him and I loved him. He's detailed and even gives extra credit. His jokes are hard to catch onto at times though. But take notes use practice worksheets and ask questions. Make sure to clearly explain what you need and fast because at times he will cut you off and not actually answer the question.

This Professor can teach. The best Math teacher at Broward College. He is very caring, lots of extra credit, he will take time out for you if you need extra help. He is very confident, very inspirational. I am happy I met this Professor he is awesome. He likes to make people laugh but when it comes on to putting in the work he is serious.

Professor is an educator. pay attention and you will pass. Gives extra credit points, show up, do your homework and the review sheet. He actually cares, gives great advice. He is straight and direct. Not an easy A, but an obtainable A.

Amazing professor. He has a pretty strong accent but his notes are super clear. Do the extra credit, you will not regret it. He will give extra credit if he is late, he will add it those points at the end of the semester to your tests scores. He will drop your lowest test grade. An A is definitely achievable if you attend every class and do notes

Best math professor I ever had! Show up, do the worksheets, & pay attention in class. It took me a while to find a good professor and I'm glad I found him. I hate math because I am terrible at it but he explained his lessons extremely well. Don't listen to the people who say he is terrible. They're only complaining because they didn't do well.

Please do not buy the book he will give you material to study and print papers from his textbook if needed. This is a hard class but he does give extra credit if the WHOLE class deserves it and theres an optional project which is toward final grade. The Math Lab will become your friend or you MUST study the packets he gives. If you do you will PASS

I truly enjoyed working with Professor Francois. His expectations are high and you won't be able to fake your way to a good grade, you will need to earn it. Consistent attendance is a must. Good note-taking is essential, but the Professors' notes are clear and detailed. Just follow his lead and you will achieve! I hope to work with him again.

Yes, this professor is very strict and serious about Math, but he does care. As long as you follow his instruction and actually put in the work you'll be fine. I wouldn't take again only because I personally don't like math but you have to at least try in this class cause grades are not given but you have to work for it!

i got an A from studying & going over the test reviews. if you want to learn, come to class & take notes, you will pass with an A. his test are NOT tricky, his test resemble what you go over in class & the test reviews. The tests cover all the material covered in class and homework. I was extremely intimidated by taking this class however, he has given me hope and a new perspective on math. Thank you!

This professor genuinely cares about his students. He makes sure to give multiple chances because he wants to see all his students pass. His lectures are very easy to understand. I recommend taking this class in person because he creates very easy paper tests and creates worksheets that are similar to the test. Overall, I would take him again.

This is a professor that you NEED to have, from the start I already knew I was going to like his class. He is very clear on how he grades, so if you misinterpret something that's on you. He's very passionate about the subject he's teaching. You have 5 tests in the semester, you get an A average on them & HW/Quizzes you are exempt from the final. EZ

I think he is a great professor, just not in my case. His course at least in my experience is dependent on some amount of prior knowledge, as his most common quote is literally 'if you recall from (insert k-12 grade level) you should know this.' I recommend this professor for more well rounded math students but not ones who are new or rusty.

Professor Francois is an outstanding math teacher. He's knowledgeable, supportive, and dedicated, even hosting three-hour Friday boot camps for us. His tests are fair and match our practice worksheets. Though strict about cell phones, it keeps us focused. He's made math enjoyable and understandable. I'd definitely take his class again!

Professor Francois is excellent! If you fail his class, it's clear that you didn't put in the effort. He provides plenty of opportunities to improve your grade, including extra credit for attending "boot camps". His exams are based directly on the practice worksheets he provides, which makes studying much easier. I highly recommend his class!

Great instructor! The class was well taught. Very engaging. He makes jokes (not all his jokes are funny though!) Cool guy but very strict! Don't use your cell phone in class! If he catches you, he will kick you out.
