She talks with a thick Polish accent and can be hard to understand at times. Tests are tricky, but there are ways to bring your grade up. Go to class & you will do fine.

Don't go to class if you know somebody who does, just find out when the tests are. Read the book and do the review at the end of each chapter and you will get an A on every test. If you just do the reviews you will get a C, read for essays

Very nice lady, just misunderstood. Sit in front, ask questions, and study, and you'll be fine. I got an A and I sat in Seat 1 right up front. Say hi to her out of class and she'll remember you.

The accent really added to the class. She loves to laugh and talk about her favorite psychologists. Give her two weeks to adapt your ears to her accent though.
SHE IS TERRIBLE!!!! She makes fun of people who don't sit in the front row and never lifts a finger to help someone outside of class. If you ask a question in class prepare to be embarrassed. Tests are easy, though, as long as you read the chapters.

She's my advisor and I also have her for dev. psych. I find it quite ironic that she's a psych teacher...I'd hate to have her for my psychologist.
If you don't sit in the first couple of rows DO NOT go see her in her office. I made this mistake and she yelled at me for never coming to class. I have never missed a class, and she would not believe me. Her tests are easy enough if you read the book.

I found her lectures extremely interesting, especially after I got the hang of her accent. She is more than fair concerning tests and grades. I really enjoyed her class.

Very nice teacher. Very, very easy if you read the text. She tries to initiate class discussions, but one small problem -- most of her students are too stupid to maintain any sort of discourse! No, really! Just read the book and you'll make A's.

Hard to understand. Likes to publicly criticize students. She does it all the time. She wants to help you, but the criticizing in front of everyone is not cool.
She can really embarass her students by openly critizing them, that can be very frustrating and make students wary of asking for help. Her tests are pretty hard and alot of the material is not discussed in the lectures so READ READ READ your book!

Very Very hard to understand. Hates class disruptions. the projects were pretty easy, but if you want to pass a test it is crucial that you read the material, going to class and trying to listen to the lectures will not get you a passing grade, in my opinion.

Wow. What a scatter-brain. Attendance is not required, useful, or fun. However, in the end, she'll remember how much you came. Tests come STRAIGHT from the book. Lectures aren't about tests. Its more of just a discussion/movie time. Tests are very reasonable, if you read all 4 chapters throroughly.

Very easy courses. The tests come straight from the textbook. Extra credit is easy to do and there is all kinds of it. Go to class and she will remember you when grades come around. Final projects and exams are easy if you do what she asks you to do.

Dolzycki gets away with alot of crap b/c of "cultural" differences but yelling at people is yelling at people and insulting them is insulting them. and she likes to do that alot. We're a building on fire and I had to save her or a chair, it would be a hard call.

I found her to be very helpful when i was able to speak to her one on one, but in class she be very blunt. Some people see at as being rude i guess its just her culture but it wouldn't hurt for to lighten up sometimes. But over all the class really isn't that bad. Just make sure you go.

Just as crazy as always...but the second time around she got on my nerves. We had a project that I had finished in a week and she kept "tweaking it" to the point that I had to pull an all nighter to finish it in time. Kept telling me I should of been done earlier...Overall easy with exceptions.

She is an ok teacher. Basically read the book because in-class notes are not enough to pass. Just try not to talk to her and always pay attentiion and go to class.
She makes fun of alot of students...and pray to God that she doesn't suck on a peppermint during her lectures, you can understand her ok before but when that candy's in that crazy mouth you're lost.
After dev psy, soc psy and 3 years of advisement, I have found that if you show her that you are a hard working, unique minded and capable student, she will notice you. Just speak up, listen, trust her and go above and beyond what she asks for in assignments-you will get an A. She is by far my fav professor.

The best psychology professor at this school. She's hard to understand sometimes, though. Other than that, go to class, read your text, and keep your mouth shut and you will have a very fun and easy A. P.S. If you don't keep your mouth shut, everyone else's fun is on you. :D
She is crazy. She can be difficult to understand and like a previos post said...you must rad the book. You can not just show up, take notes and expect to do well. If you get to know her well, she can be a lot of fun. But good luck getting past her nuttiness first. If you like Psych. you will be fine. All others might want to reconsider another teacher.
This woman is crazy! Your opinion is ALWAYS wrong. She will not consider another point of view. She will tweak a paper over and over and say she said stuff she didnn't say and say she didn't say stuff she did say. Very rude and obnoxious. I had her twice, once with a 100 average in her class, the second (Psy 3300) she was awful!
Psychology majors will enjoy this course but she is CRAZY!! She can be hard to understand at times. She is very funny. You absolutely have to read the chapters are really long. Taking notes in class really doesn't help much just read as much as you can. Tests are multiple choice with 2 essays and 1 for extra credit
Take notes in class but MAKE SURE to read the chapters. The chapters can be rather long, though, but the class is very interesting. You take 2 tests (75 multiple choice questions and one extra credit question) plus a final and three other (very easy) writing assignments. She isn't that hard to understand. Just pay attention. You'll get used to it.
HORRIBLE teacher! she doesn't explain what it is she wants, and when you don't do it, she yells at you and says that you don't pay attention. her attitude towards things is "her way or the highway", and she'll just roll her eyes at you if you have a different point of view. tests are extremely difficult, and her grading policy sucks.
Her accent is not that great of an impediment. Show up to class even if you take Developmental and she tells you it doesn't matter because she will take it rather personally. Gives an opportunity on every test for 10 pts extra credit. If you think you'll coast through, don't take her. I'm a pretty serious student, so I really like her.

I was really excited about taking this class...but she's not an easy teacher!!!!!!!!! She is very helpful outside of class, but very difficult to understand in class. She gives you a chance for atleast 110 on every test/project...and if you don't do too hot on your essay questions, you can re do them later..
I do not think she is a good teacher at all. I would not recommend taking her unless you have to. She does not have a good personality either.
She is a very interesting teacher. Her test are in 2 parts, 70% is Multiple choice and 30% is essay and there is alwasys an optional 10 points extra credit on all 4 test. Her final is out of 100 with a possible 135, so there are 35 extra credit points. Go to class and she will give you the benifit of the doubt on your final grade.
She is certifiably crazy. Her thick polish acccent does make her difficult to understand and she isn't very politically correct. If you want to do well in her class, you must have good attendance, and if you study your notes you will do well on her tests. Good attendance, and the occasional effort out of class and you'll do fine. She is crazy.
She babbles on in class and what she lectures over is NOT on the test. You have to read the chapters and she still puts random bs on the test. If she doesnt like ur test score you have to go see her and she is very very rude. PLUS she has a polish accent which is very very hard to listen to!
Dolzycki is the absolute most horrible teacher that I have ever had!!!! She wants people to speak up in class, but if you speak up, you can count on her to humiliate you!! A girl in my class ask her a question and she told the student she was stupid for asking a question like that! I study for that class more than any other & still barely passing!!
I've taken two of her classes so far, and for the most part, her classes are passable. I would def. advise ppl to read the book! Everything on the tests are from the book. Lectures are usually bs. She's often times too vague and isnt clear when explaining ANYTHING. She'll say something one day and reverse it the next. Attendence is mandatory.
If your taking psychology because you have to don't take her! She is difficult to understand, and ambiguous about what she wants. If you are good at kissing tail, then you'll do fine in her class. DO NOT TAKE HER. Can hardly understand what she is saying and she goes off on random subjects. You honestly never know what is going to be on the test except what chapters it is over but she gives no clear information. SHe gives three easy writing projects worth 30 points, but here test are worth 175 each, so you have to do good on the test.
GREAT teacher. Ask lots of questions and listen. She is Polish and has a heavy accent but if you ask questions and come to class every day...you'll do fine. She grades fairly but it's based on your knowledge...so STUDY!

You need to read the book to pass the multiple questions part of the exam. She lets you make up the essay part for each test except, of course, the final. She sometimes gives extra credit for coming to class. The observation project is a joke just do it and she?ll give you an A.

Mrs. D is a great proffesor... Attendence is not mandatory but highly reccomended. Don't use your phone in class and pay attention. Some say she is crazy but she is fair and interesting... I reccomend the class. Take good notes

Dr. Dolzycki was one of my favorite professors. She is extremely intelligent and there is never a dull moment in her class. Class time is mostly open discussion and videos. She will call you out and challenge you to participate if she desires. In addition, you must read the chapters to pass the tests.

I have her for two classes this semester and although she says that attendance is not mandatory in one of those, I have seen her call people out in class when they miss a day. She is unclear and at times rude. She on several occasions gave an assignment and either didn't explain any way to do it or said to do it one way and meant another.
It is pretty hard to understand her 90% of the time, I think she even confuses herself sometimes.. Go to class if you want a good grade and if you don't want to get embarrassed in front of everyone. She will call you out and challenge you, although none of us really understand what she is even asking. Not an easy A, but an easy pass.
Dolzycki is an older woman, and doesn't know how to use technology. There are no powerpoints, and everything that is discussed in class is very unhelpful. I read the whole book, and got the highest grade in the class, but if you don't read you will be very confused on tests. it was my favorite psych class, but way more work than what I planned.
In her Developmental Psych class, you had to make a 95+ to receive an A. Attendance is not mandatory, but she rudely calls you out if you miss. She is very blunt and not very approachable. Be aware that to get an A you must have a 95+ I attended every class and it was pointless, just read the chapters for the test. Attendance is not mandatory but she gives you a few extra points if you come. She is not approachable and is often rude. Don't worry about the paper, just follow the guidelines and you will get an A on it.
Had her for both developmental and social. Great teacher with unbelievable love for her field. Sit back and give her a chance and you will see how brilliant she really is.
Nit-Picky Dolzycki She lives up to the moniker. Attend class, read the book, do the assignment and you will get an A. I had her for Dev. Psych, scoring B's, C's and D's on the tests. She lets you re-write essays, to help improve your grade, so don't let the test grades worry you. I really liked her and her stories.
She is a great professor and loves what she does. I would love to take the class again, but it is a difficult course if you don't keep up with the readings and come to class.

"DOLE-DJIT-SKI" Polish, but easy to follow. Ask questions, she gives great answers. Very passionate about psychology and cares about her students. Always seems angry but I promise she isn't. NO food, phone, computer, or non class stuff. Attendance is crucial. Gives extra credit. 95+ is an A. Do your observations early. I managed an A wo reading.
I honestly would take her again, she always seems like she is angry but she isn't. Stay on her good side and show up to all her classes. Be involved. She will love you and it will make that class go by better. She's a joy once you understand her accent. Read your chapters AND notes and you'll easily make an A. I love love love her.

I started this class being lost and confused, but I finally understood her. You have to read your book to get the material. Her tests are tough, but she lets you correct your essay questions.
