She does not lecture on the test very much. you have to teach yourself. This class is definitely for independent study but she does want you do do well and provides guides for the tests that are close. Take her if you have the time to read 3 chapters every week for the tests. :)

She is a real interesting teacher, especially if you're interested in psychology. The main thing that you would want to know if you take her class is that you have to teach yourself by reading the book. If you read the book, then you will do good on her (50 Multiple Choice) exams. She keeps her syllabus&everything else online. You basically only come to class to hear her lecture. She's a GREAT lecturer, very fun. However, you will have to teach yourself out of the book and she pulls stuff from weird places (even chapters not covered!) Be prepared to read three chapters for each test. Her lectures don't cover nearly enough of the material on the test. She is a lot of fun and gives you something to think about. I enjoyed her class very much.

Jai's lectures are engaging, although filled with more opinion than substance (they tend to take wild left turns down "In My Opinion" Avenue) but her teaching style is cool because the discussion gets lively and entertaining if you're into it. Fantastic class that has reaffirmed my choice to be a psych major. Jai leads a relaxed class that is very easy to be part of. She doesn't lecture the test, you need to act like a college student and read the text if you want to perform. Offers a ton of EC. This class is very hard. Usually I can study a little and pass but, this is the first time I read the beginning of the book all the way to the end. Professor Levengood is a fun teacher. She really gets into her lectures and makes the information easy to understand. However, this is a HEAVY textbook class. If you don't like reading the textbooks, I wouldn't recommend this. But she really is great fun, and so is the class. If you read and study the material, you'll pass.

She allowed us to take notes to the final exam because many students complained about struggling but really ALL test questions come directly from the pretests she makes available. I think Professor Levengood is awesome. The unit reviews are a little tough. Some of the questions will ask you stuff that you would only know if you read the book (which I would suggest). She teaches about life. I learned a lot about how to deal with my children. She isn't going to feed you the material but it is worth what you will learn.

She is good at teaching, fair, has field trips. The one irritating thing is that she repeats things said by students in lectures and makes sweeping assumptions about the class to make a point, which comes off passive-aggressive, but evidently she prefers to tell the whole class. She does give extra credit and will respond to email fairly promptly.

Attendance is not required but you would miss important information for your test. I think this rating platform is weird because a prof who isn't necessarily an automatic A is graded for that. Someone who gets all 5's is apparently an "easy A". A prof in here with a "C" rating might be a great professor. "Easiness" should not count.

A lot of the test questions are from the book, but some is from lectures. She gets a little stressed sometimes, but if you make an effort, you can succeed in this class. She is teaching as though trying to prepare her kids for the future, which is not a bad thing. I am giving all 5's because she is a good teacher.

Dr. Levengood is a great professor. While she may be a tough grader, she grades fairly and provides all the guidelines of what she is looking for in each assignment. This class was not very difficult for me. You have to know how to study and retain information effectively in order to pass the tests. I typically went to all the lectures, read the chapters for the unit, outlined the essay prompt, and did the study guide and received an A basically every time.

Super easy course and highly recommend!

Class is pretty much easy if you read the assignments and conduct the weekly discussions. There are no quizzes. However, there is a cumulative test, which is 10 % of your grade. Do no skip discussions post and test, for they are worth more. There is also opportunities for extra credit. Read and you will succeed.

Class was straightforward. The class is structured by doing online text-book work through Connect, then usually a discussion post follows. The professor always gives good feedback on our work.

At first, I was skeptical about taking Psychology online but I must say that it has been a great decision. This professors expectations and instructions are clear, and he gives good feedback for a clear understanding. Really enjoyed the class. I liked how the book and tests worked.

Professor Jai seems to really love psych. His genuine enthusiasm for the subject provides a rich learning environment. He is a tough grader on discussion posts, but provides good feedback so you can improve. I would take his class again.

A standard psychology class with semi-challenging discussion assignments. Due dates are consistent. Overall the online reading textbook is extremely useful for studying/quizzing. Just read the material for an easy course.

This class is well structured. Take time to get familiar with the requirements and fulfill them to the best of your ability. If you do ALL that is asked of you, then you will get a good grade. Take your time with discussions/posts and be specific.

Easy class if you do the work

Easy to finish with an A as long as you do your work. Tests are pretty difficult though. Does not accept late work, no exceptions. Jai is short and to the point which can come off brisk, but just intends to get stuff done. Very accessible.

Lots of reading! All assignments matter! Discussion format assignments and computer based learning modules. Test get progressively harder.

I was very happy with this teacher and the feedback received for our discussions. Also seemed really accessible and provided all the needed information to pass this class. Loved that the professor used McGraw-Hill campus for the textbook. Definitely a well rounded tool for this class,

Im not a fan of any assignment that is supposed to act like fusion assignments, or are given to us to ensure that we dont fall behind

I enjoyed this class. I wish I had taken it in person instead of online, but it was still very interesting and the class discussions were great. I'd definitely take her class again.

Great Professor all around. I advise taking him online. Easy A if you actually complete all assignments, and follow his clear instructions and grading rubric. Prepare to basically write a paper at the end of every week, but its an easy paper because its your opinion.

This professor was awesome!! He was very helpful and responsive and i really enjoyed his class!
