The class isn't so easy, but it is math after all. He a good guy though, he explains it very well and you can ask a thousand questions and he doesn't mind. Also, he will help before or after class. He gives good test reviews too.

he his very helpful goes through the problem step by step so that you could understand what you are doing and he give a review before each test.

This prof is one of the best at BCC has. Everyone an accent I am not good at math and this prof made me realized maths is not bad at all. i took him for both intermedia and colege algebra and got B's, all you have to do is just ask and he'll explain. He comes 15 min before class and leaves 15 min after so thats a good way to get more out of him.

Have taken 3 classes w. Dr. Singh and have built up my conf in math because of him. He does have an accent, but will repeat anything if you ask him. He has a great sense of humor (when have you heard that about a math prof?) and genuinely cares about his students. I wish there were more prof like him-I actually wanted to do the work in his classes!

I failed mat1033 2 times before taking it with this instructor, he is wonderful. He can help anyone understand math. I liked him so much, I took him the following semester for college algebra. I never recieved A's and B's in math until I found professor Singh.

I'll start by saying that I FAILED MAT1033 w/ Prof. Singh. I am retaking it with HIM AGAIN. That should speak volumes about his teaching style. Accent takes some getting use to, but beyond that he is an excellent instructor. He does NOT check homework, but if you want to learn all the material YOU MUST DO THE HOMEWORK! I learned that the hard way!

Prof Singh is a great instructor. He shoots straight and conveys math in an understandable way. He doesn't bog you down with unnecessary info. His reviews are very helpful too. Hopefully, I'll get to take him again for another course required for my major.

He is an Awesome Professor, very helpful! If you NEED to know math then he is your guy! He starts out slow paced to ensure everyone is following then gradually steps into the complex parts. Starts with 1+1 is 2 then next thing you know your doing quadratic equations ! Don't try to jump ahead and COPY everything! MOST IMPORTANTLY DO THE HOMEWORK!

Singh is pretty cool. I took his summer class which is condensed into 6 weeks. It is very intense and I had to study his reviews to get Bs on the tests. He will answer any questions you have and doesn't assign mandatory homework. The only time I used the book was for examples during class. You will need the formula sheet, though!

I hope this teacher is teaching statistics, this is my last class for graduation. he is the best teacher I ever had; glad I saved Math for the last, highly recommend, only give 3 test and a final, and he drop the lowest grade, he is the bomb, i really love this teacher, hate math, but he made me think twice.

Highly recommend this professor if you find math difficult! His approach makes it easier to understand and less intimidating. 3 tests (lowest grade dropped) plus the final exam. Homework is assigned but not included in grade. He has an accent but once you get used to it, he's fine and even funny!

His lectures and reviews for tests are extensive & detailed. You really don't need the book since the test are similar to the reviews. Just study the reviews as much as possible once given. Some of the questions from the review may be on the TEST! Great Professor and an easy A. If you have problems just ask him & he is more then willing to help.

Prof Singh is great!!!! Lets face it, all of the MAth textbooks at BC suck. Just do it Prof Singh's way and burn your book. The book may be a little helpful but you do not need it for the majority of the class. Use it to practice different problems. The absolute best Math Professor. You will be lucky to get him. Math is actually an easy subject thanks to him. He has a bit of an accent but you will get used to it. I wish every teacher at BC would adopt his teaching method. Math has never been easy for me to understand but his explanations and examples are CRYSTAL clear. His classes involve active participation which makes class go by fast. He assigns hw, even though it is not mandatory and he reviews for every test. Reviews are IDENTICAL to test! The BEST!!!

Only a complete idiot would say that he is difficult. His way of teaching is the best way to learn. In class he does a problem step-by-step on the board then puts up another problem and asks us to solve. He then puts solves that problem step by step then gives us 3-4 more of the same type to practice in class before moving on to the next section.

Accent is a little hard, but his teaching method makes up for it. Barely uses text and the reviews for his test are a carbon copy of his tests. Nice guy, if you attend class you shouldn't have a problem passing.

Great class. Professor is an excellent teacher. You will need to listen closely because of his accent. His tests & finals are from the reviews he give you. His tests come from his notes. In this class you can receive an A/B with taking great notes. I will highly recommend him.

His tests are ten questions and you have to come uo with the answer so multiple choice. 4 tests including the final and he drops the lowest grade. He is a good teacher. Amazing teacher, the only math class I have ever gotten an A in. He makes the concepts so simple. There are a lot of notes, but he is clear and his accent does not create a problem. Only one homework that he makes you turn in and he gives you homework from the book but it's just for practice. I would really suggest taking him for statistics!

Professor Singh is one of the best professor at BC, Statistics is said to be one of the hardest math class, but after taking his class it became my easiest math class. His explanations were so simple and easy to follow it would be hard to fail his class. Please take his class if you want to pass statistics.
