OMG where to start? I loved the class, though I was kinda the Outspoken one in the class Pro FLors actually kept the class interesting. I wasnt really into the class but as the teacher started to open up it became more ibterseting. Hands down ONE OF THE BEST TEACHERS AT BC. Actually I wish he could chnge and teach evening classes for the ENC 1101.

Professor J. Flores is the best instructor I have had at Broward College. He brings a whole new world of flavor to the South Campus. Once you are willing, he will do it all for you. Best class I've ever taken at BC! Super chill, interesting, and of course.. easy! :-) This was my first college class I ever took back in 2009 and it was a great way to start my college experience! Recommend to anyone.

I took ENC 1102 online over the summer and it was one of the most enjoyable things I could have done. This teachers loves what he is doing and is really, really easy to talk to. There is a great deal of writing but he picked interesting authors. My 10 page final on Hemingway turned into 17 because I enjoyed the topic and his class so much.

Great online class! I can't praise this teacher enough. If you do the assignments,on time, you will get an A. His assignments are reasonable for a 6 week writing class and his grading is fair. He always answers emails and post grades quickly. Love him!

I took him online and I passed with an A. He responds to emails, he post grades as soon as it's available and he gives you the most interesting stories to read, I had a blast reading all of them. Prof Flores online class was pretty simple, I don't like English and I passed with an A. Just make sure you read, do the Journals, Discussions and the Research paper. He answers emails promptly. TAKE HIM!

Easy A Class. I highly recommend the six week course. It's extremely easy. Each week you do 2 One-page journals based on each ones' short story. Along with several mini discussions. Later on, you do an author research guide which Is a guaranteed 'A'. Professor Flores was super chill! We need more of him. BUT, he should reply to E-mails more.

Not a bad professor, it's just difficult to pass an online class without being able to reach your professor by, of course, email. Literally responded to one of 5 emails I sent during the whole semester. The class is graded fairly but I had other things going on. Do not take if you are not disciplined or not dedicated.

Great class, learn a lot, his instructions to the T, 3 papers, (1 poem, 1 story, 1 research), discussions, peer review, other stuffs on research paper. If you are willing to work you will be fine you will know. 1 downside he doesnt grade 2 last papers with the highest grades 1 wk. after the class is finish. GREAT PROFESSOR - MARK FAIR, TAKE HIM.

Easy online class, 10 small quiz's which are very easy. 4 papers total and very lenient grader.

Prof. Flore is the greatest. I of course received a "A "in his class. You are there for the GRADE not for the class. The discussions are too easy to fail. Even if a classmate don't agree with your post you still go and "A" for participation. 3 Big papers which are long but easy as pie. Grades great with feedback to help you pass your Final Draft.

I took ENC1101 for Dual Enrollment and it was pretty easy. If you are used to AP Class rigor, this is way easier. Four major papers, 3 interesting topic based and one research. I took it in six weeks it wasn't that bad i could still go out and do what I had to do, but I would recommend good writers.

This class was super simple. Only complaint I have is the lack of communication between the entire class and the professor. He takes a while to grade the final draft of our papers too. Overall easy course.

His class consist of essays, he is very nice and you will pass his class with an easy A if you complete all your assignments.

Professor Flores was a great teacher. Three essays, few assignments, and a grammar pre test... do your best on the pretest because the better you do, the less work you have during the semester. He allowed us to use SmarThinking for essays for extra credit.

Took Dr. Flores Summer Session. Lots of work but it's a writing class so that's expected. Try your hardest, show effort and you will do well. Six grammar modules to complete which can be tedious but, extremely beneficial. He doesn't respond to emails and it takes a long time for grades to post but, it was still a good course. I got an A.

This course was an easy A, I just put words together in assignments & pass course. 8 wks, there's a LOT of assignments: 16 discussions (12 on poems), 3 essays, 3 drafts, 3 peer reviews, 1 easy reading assessment. He inputs grades extremely late (don't worry) & lacks communication (don't bother asking ?tions). Do assignments + participate PASS.

Do the work easy A 2 essays, 600 words ea. Responds in a timely matter Clear rubric for each assignment Con: grades given weeks after assignment is due but maybe that's just how college works Homework- grammar assignments Quizzes were 5 questions for each module(can be a good or bad thing)

I loved this class! It was wonderful! The professor was really nice and go back to my emails quickly. The class was composed of a few discussion, 2 essays (graded very easily) and mywritinglabs modules that were basic grammar questions. Easy A once you complete the work and try at all.

If you're a person that strives on feedback to do your work then he's not for you; if you can work with minimal feedback then take him. Would take again, clear grading criteria, very organized and easy to follow instructions. Took the short session.

WONDERFUL Professor, I was very timid about writing essays etc but he made it so fun and interesting!!! He is very understanding to life situations, grades quickly and gives excellent feedback. I took him for both 1101 and 1102, no complaints!! I honestly wished he taught all my classes. Easy A r B depending on your interest.

So far my favorite professor at broward college. He responds to emails very quickly and his work is so fair. Took the summer course in 8 weeks and for someone who works 40 hours a week, I was easily able to keep up with the workload. He is SOOOOO nice!!! Amazing professor that actually cares and encourages you.

Professor Flores was an overall great teacher. He was very nice and gave pretty good feedback. We wrote three papers throughout the course, and the lessons were fast-paced. However, I felt he was slow when it came to responding to an email.

Professor Flores is so caring and nice. It is an easy A class as long as you do the work (which there isn't much of) There are 3 essays and he gives you enough time to construct the rough draft and the final draft. If you need help, he will do his best to help you. I 100% recommend that you take his class.

You only need to stick with the syllabus, is most likely that you always get the full score for discussion. However, in the final drafts, he can subtract some points but still get high scores. He doesn't give feedback but you can manage yourself by reading the resources. Overall great professor and easy A if you do all the work.

You write around 4 essays the entire semester and he gives enough time to finish and correct them. Lots of discussions with other students, homework was mostly mini quizzes and discussions on something we read. Overall easy class, he was very chill.

On the online class, we hardly had interaction with the professor. He does give you a lot of material to read that instruct on how to write the essays. We had 3 essays of 750 words and a reflection paper. We also had about 7 discussions, of which 3 we had to give feedback to classmates on their rough drafts. Too much work for this type of class.

Mr.Flores is literally the best professor ever. His class was not challenging at all and you still learned a lot. He doesn't give difficult work and grades fairly. He is also very understanding. There were times when I got too busy and forgot to do a couple of assignments and when I emailed him about it he still gave me full credit.He is fantastic!
