Great teacher. He's not one to hold your hand so you're on your own on studying. If you study hands on, you'll do great here. Don't slack. Very motivational as well.

He is an amazing professor however if you are looking for an easy A than you should reconsider taking his class. He wants you to know and understand the material so you defiantly have to study study study! He is very knowledgeable and wants every student to succeed.

Dr. Garcia is a good professor but the class itself is very hard and takes a lot of studying to pass, but he does help with a lot of extra credit and hands on examples.

Good professor. Makes it clear on the first day what you need to do to pass the class. He offers tons of extra credit options you just need to study. Only thing is you cannot miss class. He takes off points for every class you miss, but if you have perfect attendance you get extra credit at the end of the semester.

The class is very good as it allows you to meet others and work with others to study and learn in a less serious way although you must pay attention and not procrastinate this is a tough class but it's up to one to do as good as you want to do.

Professor Garcia is a great teacher. He gives nonformal assesments that gives extra credit. Just showing up to all the labs you get 30 extra credit points towards the final! But you really need to put on the effort and study the things he tells you. He tells you what exactly to study, and the tests will be easy.

He really cares about his students. Awesome professor, pretty laid back. you'll really enjoy this class. But no makeups at all, power points that are used in class are also online, strongly still recommends going to torturing for those that need extra help. He is very upfront about his policy. If you follow his directions to a T... you will get an A. However, if you question the syllabus or do something that is his "pet peeve" he will not be happy. Just go to class, study the slides, and do the extra credit. You'll learn a lot and get an A.

Dr. Garcia really knows what he's talking about. He makes sure you understand throughly. In lab, he really makes sure you GET IN IT, you won't get credit for just sitting on the side. He has an accent but he's really funny.

I took him for anatomy & physiology 2 lab. He lectures for majority of the lab and can talk forever. He has a really strong accent so sometimes its hard to understand what he says, or keep up with his lecture. He's really helpful on the dissections though, which was awesome. Any confusion I had he was able to clear up.

Dr. Garcia is very dedicated to teaching. He lectures a lot, but it helps for dissections. You must be hands-on during dissections. He is very helpful throughout the dissections and wants classmates to interact. Extra credit is given. Overall a good professor.

Great professor, gives lots of information and is truly passionate about teaching. It is beneficial to read before class as it is very easy to get lost, but this is the nature of any A&P class. The only thing to be aware of is if you have a tough time understanding accents, he does have a prominent spanish accent. Overall a great professor!

Dr. Garcia is clear about what you will be expected to know/what you will be tested on. The book is not mandatory but it helped me a lot for studying. He gives a 'quiz' almost every class but it is for extra credit purposes and these ?'s tend to show up on tests! Only challenge is his accent, it wouldnt stop me from taking him again though.

This class was my very first approach to science in a different language where I came from. I found it stressful and heavy at the begining as I could not understand what he is talking about. A&P2 isn't an easy course so if you want a teacher that practically feeds it to you he's not the one but, if you want one that genuinely cares about you understanding what he's teaching pick him. Dr. Garcia makes learning Anatomy II lab much easier than any other professor I've met. I took the course in the Summer A express term. Even though there was a lot of material at a very quick pace, Dr. Garcia is able to explain the information in an easy, understandable way. If I needed to take another lab again I would definitely choose him.

One of the best anatomy lab professors at Palm Beach state lake worth campus. Has an accent but super caring about the subject and his students. It has been upwards of a few years since I have been in his class, and I can still safely say that he is one of the best teachers I have ever met. Even though this class was only a preprerequisite to my program, the knowledge is still fresh in my head, as his lectures were something to be mirrored by other teachers! Five stars all the way!

You HAVE TO STUDY! Give yourself 1 or 2 hours a day studying previous information you learned last class. This Anatomy Lab Midterm and Final is based on spelling the words out correctly! Mr. Garcia is the best professor! he motivates and encourages you to do well. Also take advantage of the extra credit! Take my words seriously!

Dr. Garcia is an amazing professor. 2 quizzes + 2 tests your grade. He gives extra credit for perfect attendance, and for informal assessments (a recap of what you learned in the previous class). Make sure you study every day! Especially before class. His class isn't an easy A, you have to work hard, but its worth it in the end. Be ready to learn!

Professor G is an amazing teacher. He is very kind and understanding however he wont give you an A unless you work hard for it. You have to study a lot. The grade is completely based on tests with a decent amount of extra credit. He definitely knows what hes talking about.

Dr.G intentions is to push you to succeed. He is a great professor and explains everything in detail. Also gives you plenty of chance to receive extra credit. You MUST work for a good grade if not you wont stand a chance to pass.

Professor Garcia is very Knowledgeable and a great guy. he gives lots of extra credit so as long as you do your part you should have no problem passing.

Dr. Garcia really cares about his students exceeding and emphasizes on how hard work pays off. He provides great extra credit options and tests right from his power point notes. You really have to read them at home because he does not touch on them much in class. Go to every class and study for every quiz/test (spelling counts) and you'll get an A.

Doctor Garcia is a great professor, if youre okay with a professor having a thick Latin accent but knows his tuff then hes your guy. His teaching methods are great and the class assessments really help as they motivate students to study in order to do well in them to receive the extra credit points.

Hes a great teacher tough accent, but he genuinely cares, and gives you a lot of chances!... If youve never taken AP before this class will be hard especially if your low on time!.

His class is not difficult unless you skip a class ,aren't paying attention or aren't studying. Does have an ascent but can pass by it. Great professor and highly motivated on his students each day of class! I would take him again.

There are weekly quizzes, which will count for extra credits; therefore as a student you'll have to make the time to study for his class. Although, attendance is not mandatory, yet if a student has perfect attendance - such student will be able to earn 30 points toward the end of the semester.

DrGarcia provides many extra credit opportunities and the PowerPoint slides are available online. Also he states all the sections that will be on the test and quizzes It's very important to take notes in class. With all this it's very possible to achieve a good grade in his class.

Dr Garcia is a great proffesor he is very knowledgable on anatomy because he was an actual doctor in Colombia. the class is not hard but you need to study like in every other anatomy class because the subject requires studying so we have to suck it up and do it. He gives a lot of extra credit opportunities towards the midterm and towards the final.

Make sure you attend every class he does pop quizzes for extra credit on some days and also you get some extra credit for perfect attendance which will be helpful because it is a hard course.

I learned more about anatomy in this class than i did in my lecture. Dr. Garcia provides more than enough extra credit. Dont be intimidated by the complexity of anatomy 2, he simplifies it and makes it easy. If you don't pull off an A then you didn't try. I took this class with five other classes (6 total) and still ended up with an A.

Dr Garcia creates a comfortable atmosphere, and tells significant stories to help you remember certain concepts and material. He is also great at teaching life lessons and incorporating them into his lectures. Good professor and good classes. His quizzes before class allows for points towards your midterm or final for however many you get right. Study his powerpoints and you won't be steered wrong and listen to him.

VERY THICK ACCENT. Its hard to understand honesty. He has PowerPoint's online to print (50-ish pages each) but he is passionate about A&P. You gotta sign in and out in (but you have to attend the whole classorder to get extra points. He some times goes a little overboard with the time conversations outside of the lecture's topic.. but he's good

He is very straight forward on what he expects from you as well as what he will have on his quizzes/tests. His labs consists of his owns PowerPoint's and hands on. He gives TONS of extra credit opportunities but you have to show up!
