This class is what you make of it. Put in the effort and you'll make the grade. But it's honestly just, do well on the weekly quizzes, show up to class (he remembers who's there and not there), and participate. Participating usually gets you quiz reprieves so do it! Dr. Carter is amazing, super helpful, and full of energy! This is great because I usually fall asleep in class. He is also super helpful when it comes to writing the research paper... he even gives you his personal cell number to call at anytime to ask questions. This is a three hour class but the Prof. does a good job of keeping it moving. It is a very textbook driven class and he goes over a lot of information. We are divided into groups of 5 or 6 people and to do well in this class you must be involved with your group and get involved with class discussions.

A rather easy class,does not demand much dedication, as a general studies course ought to. However, Carter manages to keep the class interesting and cares for the students on a personal level. Good professor, first half of the semester went through powerpoints took easy open note quizzes. Second half worked on the group project everyday, so that was nice. Overall, I'd recommend this professor

The class is super easy. I am not sure if the attendance is completely necessary, quizes are as easy as baking a cake in a 450 degree oven (that's is really EASY!). BEST STATS TEACHER EVER. He gives a study guide for the midterm and it's very similar to the actual test. Final is just your Statistics Research Project which is a group project and is done all throughout the semester. TAKE HIM! You get reprieved from taking daily quizzes (which are very easy) and also get extra credit if you already got reprieved.

He never really taught the material, his idea of teaching was going around asking everyone what they thought of the reading. Reading is very important, if you don't he will call you out. Looking for an easy A? Just want to get passed psych and move on? Take Carter. 2 major projects that I put maybe 3 hours of work in total on the two "projects" combined. Didn't do any of the other work (quiz questions, discussion questions), answered some questions for E.C. and got an A- still. Participate...No, just be present, and you will pass.
