He's a great teacher. I like that he divides the class into one hwk day and one lecture day and gives you the option of going on the hwk days. Not the best I've had but he's up there.

It was an easy class if you do all the homework assigments and understood the concepts. Dividing lecture and hw sections is a great idea. I would highly recommend taking the class with this professor.

He gives the students many opportunities to get an A in the class, however, many students don't take advantage of it. If you take advantage of the options he offers, you should have no problem with the class. He is very enthusiastic and mixes some humor in the class. If you can take him for ANY math class, I highly recommend him.

Teymouri is awesome. Only has lecture on one day, the other day of class he goes over any homework questions. If you understand the homework, then you don't have to come to class. Never keeps you in class the whole period. Keeps math concepts simple, and all quizes and tests are the exact same questions on the homework, word for word. Reccomend him

the hw sessions once a week were a big part of learning th material because we got to go over it a again and ask any questions we had, just the fact that we had the whole class time to do so and we werent in a rush

He explains the material and assigns homework (your standard math class). Although, some concepts can be difficult, and the class is only based on two 9-question tests and two 1-question quizzes... so I found it difficult to get over a B. I wouldn't recommend this class if you are a poor test taker.

Teymouri is awesome!! The class is super easy, just do the hw and know that and you'll have an easy A.

Dr. Teymouri explains everything in a lively manner. He presents the material clearly and uses real life examples in class.He is funny and he uses lots of humer in his class. Everyone should take his class to really understand what math is all about.

He is so nice and is willing to help you whenever you need it. He taught on Tuesdays and on Thursdays we went over homework so it was nice because he made sure that we understood the information before moving on. Take him if you can!!

Dr. Teymouri is the best Math teacher out there. He explains everything well and is always willing to answer questions. He cares a lot about his students and is always willing to be there to give advice to us as well.

Dr. Teymouri is very fair, only tests on what is covered in class (literally), and dedicates one day a week to reviewing homework problems. He even takes the best 2/3 tests (including the final. Definitely take his classes if you can.

Dr. Teymouri was especially helpful because some of the class, especially me, had a weak background in calc 1 and 2 (because those teachers were bad). He started clac 3 by reviewing integration and making sure we were all on the same page before moving on. Sometimes, however, he seemed to take offense when I asked questions on the material.

The best math teacher in the school. There is three tests, you only have to do two of them. There are four quizes, but if you answer questions on the board, you don't have to do the quizes. Bascially its an easy A if you understand math.

Although the content within the class is difficult, as long as you do the assigned homework and check if they are correct at the homework session you should be fine because the test is taken only from the homework questions. And as long as you do good on the first two tests then you don't have to worry about taking hte final!

one of the better teachers i've had...2nd time i had him...i understand the material when he teaches it, though sometimes he combines some things but then fixes it.

Writes few notes and uses homework examples in the book. Sometimes the notes, because there are so few, tend to be confusing looking back on them. The class is short, he gets done what needs to get done but still teaches the material. The tests are short and because of this if you make a few mistakes the grade completely plummets.

He's the only math teacher I have ever enjoyed. His style worked for me, but I can see how it may not work for everyone. He showed that a boring subject can be somewhat enjoyable by expressing his happy personality.

Mr. Teymouri is a great professor. I wouldn't take any of my Calculus classes with anyone else. His lectures are very clear. He won't stop answering questions until everyone understands. He then reviews the following class only the hmwk he assigned and answers all questions. He loves his job and it shows in his lectures 100%.

Extremely smart and passionate about MATH! he gets so excited about concepts and teaching the material to the class. I really enjoyed going to this class. if you have a choice of picking a professor for calculus this is the one to pick! He teaches only what you NEED to know about calc and teaches all the short cuts. although the math can be challenging, the quizzes and tests are all from previous hw problems and he is an easy grader. Its not hard to do well in the class, just show up and do the hw.

One of the best math teachers I've had at any level in the education system. He wants his Students to do well. Can make you feel stupid sometimes, but you'll get used to it. Classes are predictable and the tests are easy because they are all problems you have doen on the homework already. He wants is students to get good grades, so he is willing to help in whatever way possible. Didn't like the class in the beginning, but I really do now.

Jamal Teymouri is the most knowledgeable professor at the college, and it's not close. He and the late Dr. Bogan are the best professors I have had. If you want to challenge yourself and really learn Mathematics, sign up for a course with Teymouri.

His class is harder than I originally expected. Definitely go to all the classes, as even the not mandatory ones are helpful. His accent isn't horrible, but sometimes he can't think of English Words. His tests are pretty hard, but the quizzes are really easy. He drops the lowest test and quiz grade.

Must go to lecture days but not homework days. However, on homework days he further explains the lecture and may also give bonus points if you can complete a certain problem. He gives three tests and three quizzes but drops the lowest grade for each. He does not teach the harder way of differentiation unlike the other professors!

Like others said before: take 3 exams and 3 quizzes. Drops lowest one. So if you do well, don't need to show up for final exam. Quizzes gives 2 questions and choose 1 to answer. Exams gives between 9 - 11 questions and can drop any 2 questions. Say exam is 10 questions, grades 8 questions. Homework days make office hours not necessary and save time

Same exact style as Calc I in terms of grading and lectures/ homework days. Mostly all exam and quiz questions are from the homework questions and he goes over how to do all of them in HW days. Also goes over any questions you want during HW day before exams. Likes to share his life experiences as well, to take students mind off of Calculus a bit.

He's very very nice and wants to help. I'm a good math student, but he teaches in a very simple and easier to understand way and my brain can't grasp non-complex things. But either way. He's there if you need help and is a genius when it comes to anything math. Go into his class with an openmind; He wants to make you love math too.

I loved him so much! All you need to do to really pass is SHOW UP FOR THE HOMEWORK SOLUTIONS/HELP DAY. Do the homework, ask your questions, write down the answers FULLY, learn them, memorize them and it's an easy A. Definitely recommend him over Prof. Deno at strose, she teaches 2x the material. Teymouri is your absolute best option for calculus. He has a very clear grading system, two tests for the course, and a few scattered quizzes. Lets you skip problems on each. Can bring formulas into each. Tests and quizzes are based entirely on homework. Lecture one day and homework the other. Attendance not mandatory, but show up!

I would definitely take a class with him again. It was a struggle because we where graded only on 4 things (2 exams, 2 quizzes), which makes it very hard to do well in the class because if you do bad on one exam or quiz then it's hard to make up points. One benefit to his class is he does allow a formula sheet which is helpful on the exams.
