I think he his a great teacher. He is very passionate about his work. He can be a bit cheesy a times, but it's an endearing trait. His lectures are very straight forward, and if you pay the least bit of attention to class, you can easily pass. I enjoyed the class. He gives you every chance for success, you just have to take him up on it.
1st off, it's Earth Science. BORING right? Well this man is the nicest guy and he's actually a geologist and loves teaching. EASY class but he gets involved with every student. I'm never met anyone more interested in rocks in my life. He is also always willing to help anyone in what ever way possible.
I took him at SCC.He's a real geologist. He is a great teacher,he goes out of his way to make sure everyone understands his lectures.Rarely gives homework. His tests are EASY if you studied. He gets really excited talking about rocks, fossils, etc. Its funny to watch. He makes corny jokes, but that makes the class so much better.Highly recommend him.
Great teacher! He goes out of his way to help students. Lectures are boring, but he tries to make them as painless as possible. Just show up and do the work and you'll get a good grade.
Also teaches at Seminole State Coll. Very easy going. Extremely knowledgable and likeable. Provides excellent on-line notes. Excellent reviews before exams. Attend the classes. Study the notes. Ask questions. You'll do great.
BEST TEACHER EVER!! He's very hands-on and has a deep passion for what he teaches (those are the best kind of teachers). If you are into science or just want to have a fun class, go with Adamski!
I really hated this class, it was extremely boring and irrelevant to everyday life. His online quizzes were simple but his tests were just overkill, it was 50 questions and the notes were way too long. I for one did not enjoy this class at all and regret taking it.
the class was alright. i expected the class to be a bit different. It wasn't very interesting but i liked the teacher, he was very nice, and i liked his method of teaching. He gives you online quizzes which are all easy 100A's.. and if you study, his tests are too.
I am a student at SSC in Altamonte Springs. If Mr. Adamski taught any other classes here, I wouldn't hesitate to take them, regardless of the subject. He's an energetic, passionate teacher, whose frequent corny/geeky jokes liven up what I thought would be a boring class. Who thought a teacher could make learning about rocks interesting? A+ Teach!
I took two classes with him and they were really easy!He has a Great sense of humor, and is very intelligent!I thought that science was really boring but he made it fun and easy!I would take another class again if he offer more:D so anyone who's looking for a fun class and interesting then take professor Adamski :D!!!
Mr. Adamski is so laid back. Frist, do not buy the book he uses his powerpoints, and the board. Second, he assians easy ten online quizzes take as many time to get a 100% There are four test easy to pass he give good reviews. Next, easy report to do any place in the world. He even gives u the template to use. Lastly, easy science credit. MUST TAKE!
I was not interested in science and this class was mandatory for me, but Prof. Adamski made it interesting. He is so helpful and has a great sense of humor. Four tests - study and you will do well. Online quizzes you can take as many times as you want guide your test answers. Great guy, great professor.
Great teacher, very knowledgeable and experienced, good sense of humor even on tests. Make sure you attend reviews for tests. Not a guaranteed A but not too difficult. Gives plenty of extra credit too. All around great class and teacher.
He's excited about what he teaches. Take notes and you're golden. I'll be taking the other classes he offers. no doubt.
one of the best teachers i took! other reviews pretty much summed up the rest that you have to know
Hes very easy ! and if your not good at taking tests he will give you different chances to bring up for grade and at the end he drops your lowest grade. No homework at all 1 project really easy 4 exams (tests) there notes on blackboard and he writes on the bored. Hes fun and funny too ! i never like science but i liked his class. thumbs up !
Best Sci Prof ever. super easy class. no book required. test based on notes. 1 project very easy. online quizzes unlimited attempts to get 100. gives test reviews day before test. extra credit opportunities. shows videos and pics.very nice prof easy to get along with. join his club its super fun lots of field trips!!!
Best teacher at Valencia hands down!!! Always helpful, very nice guy, always there to answer questions. The tests aren't bad, just make sure you stay to listen to his test reviews.
He is awesome, he loves what he does and it shows. Take notes and do the online quizzes and you'll do fine. He gives multiple opportunites for extra credit and there is always extra credit on the tests. He doesn't want to see anyone fail. Always willing to help and encourages questions. He is one of Valencia's best!
He is overall a wonderful professor i cannot express how great of a professor he is. He is very passionate about his work.
You have to take him. He's an amazing professor who really does care. He responded to all my emails within 24 hrs and does everything he can to help you pass. Lectures are actually fun because he explains everything in such an entertaining way. Just take notes and you're pretty much guarantied an A.
What a refreshing college professor! Always in a good mood. Doesn't talk down to you about subject. So passionate about subject (& climate change). = Treats you like an adult with optional attendance. He puts all his notes into PDF's for each lecture. Gives thorough Test & Quiz reviews. Tests = 50 multiple choice questions. Study PDFs and get an A.
Amazing Teacher! A few quizes that you can take again till you get a 100. One project which he walks you through. Attendance isn't mandatory and he puts all his power points online, but still go since his test are straight from the notes and he reviews before every test.
Same as his Intro to MET class. This was my second time taking his class and he made the material just as interesting and everything was just as easy. Not a blow off class, but definitely not a hard class. All quizzes are only and you can take them as many times as you want. Reviews before every test and the final.
Professor Adamski is amazing! Very helpful and cares about his students. Quizzes are a little tough, but he offers extra credit points to bring up your grade. Great teacher!
Awesome professor, makes learning fun! Notes easy to understand and professor helps you out w/ any questions you may have about material.
I looked forward to each class. Professor Adamski treats everyone equally. You'll learn fascinating things about our world.
Awesome teacher took him online for Meteorology. Everything was very easily laid out online. Quiz every chapter but you can retake it. And test on every few chapters. Take him!
took an early class was not to thrilled but since he was such a good teacher i kept it. Im glad i did great teacher and very enthusiastic
Amazing, fun, very reasonable. Miss class? EVERYTHING he teaches is online. This also makes a book unnecessary. You can take quizzes multiple times, he gives out extra credit, and is just a great guy. One project (not too hard), 4 tests and final. I highly recommend if you need a science credit.
Best science class I've had. Don't need the book, tests are well reviewed and extra credit's given. He's very passionate about the subject, and keeps his lectures interesting and personal.
He was actually pretty cool, we got out early a lot because he knew some of the material is boring. 50 question test, no homework just online quizzes to study for tests. Really nice person.
Oh this guy is great! SO class is like you have a lit of powerpoints to read a few times. Then you have plenty of time to take the test. They come directly off the power points. You have to use your brain a bit but, easy and fun! Great teacher responds promtly! A AAAA+ take him
Very courteous professor, responds promptly to emails. 4 tests, he drops lowest grade. He gives extra credit in all exams. Text is not mandatory, 95% of material in power-point. Highly recommend. A++
One of the greatest professors at Valencia. Easy grade and will also learn alot of new things. Looked foward to attending class.
One of my favorite teachers EVER. So nice and hard working. He expects you to try hard and expects success. I currently have a 101% in this class, and I couldn't be happier. This class is pretty hard, and you really have to put in work. But, with Professor Adamski, you're going to want to work!! Seriously, if youre willing to work hard, enroll NOW!
Probably the best teacher I've had at Valencia so far. His method of teaching makes the class very interesting/enjoyable & I learned a lot. A relatively easy course if you take notes and pay attention. Overall he is a very genuine and nice person. I HIGHLY recommend taking one of his courses!!
This teacher is great! He was fast to respond to emails! The class was very easy. I loved it!
easy A take him tests from his notes lots of extra credit easy quizzes do not buy book
Adamski is a very cool professor. He has 4 tests with a couple quizzes that are do as homework prior to the tests. Plus he spends a whole day doing review before the tests. He also a assigns a project that is due at the end but if you have any questions just talk to him and he'll answer. He is dedicated to you passing, You don't need the book.
Go to class, pay attention, take notes and you will pass! Really cares about students too.
A+ teacher. His passion for science and teaching really shows. He is there to help you learn the material. Gives you every tool you need to pass. His quizzes are GREAT for preparing for tests. He stays on topic! Tests you on what he teaches. Has an awesome view of the world. Hes a good hearted guy.
Great Guy, makes the class easy and enraging. You will not be disappointing taking him. 5 Tests with a couple easy online quizzes. Plays jeopardy for test review. I am taking him again and so should you!
Great Professor!! His lectures were very clear and he provided a lot of support for his students throughout the semester. He is knowledgeable and provides enough detail to help you understand the subject. He focused more on helping the students understand the topics instead making the course difficult. His materials will challenge you but they ar
This professor is kind, caring and he makes the class interesting. For a class that did not seem too interesting but I needed it, he definitely made it worth my time. He does lectures and notes, power points and videos, and also passes around different fossils and such. Quiz and tests are easy. Definitely take him! I'm taking him for Meteorolog.
I wish I would've taken him in class instead of online. He seems like a really cool guy and I've enjoyed his class so far. Tests are easy and the only other thing you do is a climate project which is available all semester. Quizzes are used for studying which helps out tremendously. I would love to take another class with him. TAKE HIM!
Great Professor with sense of humor . care for his students and would do anything to make sure you succeed. Highly recommended for science and non science students
A professor passionate in what he teaches. You learn a lot and he makes it enjoyable. Take notes, use his slides. Pay attention and do the quizzes. Test are exactly on what he discusses. Work load is enough to learn from. I absolutely loved the class, how he teaches it, and his passion with the subject. I will be taking him again with certainty.
Great teacher! Lots of information but great on notes! Did not use the textbook and do not miss class!
Great teacher! Lots of information but great on notes! Did not use the textbook and do not miss class!!
Great teacher. He loves his subject matter. He will help out anyone who ask. His has little homework. His notes are all online. Test are pretty easy, just use quizlet to study. He offers a little bit of extra credit. Over all he was one of my favorite teachers of the semester!
Online and able to work ahead. Slide shows are great, no book necessary. quizzes and tests aren't hard, read the slides and the articles he shares and you'll get an A. I kept all of the quizzes and reviewed those for tests, very helpful
AWESOME TEACHER! He is passionate about his subject so its very easy to pick it up. He does review games right before the tests so you are extra prepared. Makes learning about meteorology interesting!
Prof Adamski is awesome! He is very passionate about what he teaches & that passion made me want to learn a subject I've never been strong at! I learned so much more than when I took it in HS. If you go to class & take notes on what he says there is no reason not to pass the class with an A. Tests and Quizzes are online! I highly recommend him!
Amazing professor! Truly cares about what he is teaching. Easy tests, plays jeopardy, runs earth science club! Super nice, will work with you.
Really enjoyed the online class! Assignments are outlined in syllabus and he also reminds of you of deadlines. PowerPoints are very informative and book wasn't really needed. Loved the fact that you could work ahead. Definitely would recommend Professor Adamski.
Everything was online, which made things really easy to manage. Definitely recommend taking him for an easy A science credit. I hate science, still found his lectures interesting. He reminds you when things are due, his attendance policy is awesome, and he's funny. But he got annoyingly political on the topic of climate change...
He is an amazing professor, loved taking his class and if I have to take any other science classes he will be the first person I look for!
I took this course online. Not too many assignments, gives extra credit, you don't need the book because he gives a ton of information through his notes, videos, and articles. Pretty easy. Don't just read through the notes, copy them down yourself to help review for the test. You get to learn a lot about the environment around you, not just weather
I would definitely take this class again. The professor made the lectures interesting with pictures and videos. The test, quizzes and very few homework assignments were all online. He reviews for the test in class and test days we weren't required to come to class.
This was by far my favorite class that I have taken at Valencia. The professor is so inspiring and has such a passion for what he teaches. A test and quizzes taken online every section, and a research paper and powerpoint for final. If you don't need to take a specific science or want to learn more about national parks. TAKE THIS CLASS!!!
What a wonderful class and teacher! He was extremely helpful all semester, and his class was very interesting. His knowledge of the material is great, he would pull dates out of his sleeve for obscure events and he was right almost every time. Interesting sidenote: He wrote this class, and put together all the material for it.
Prof. Adamski was really great. He sent weekly update emails outlining what was due each week. Mostly test and quiz based but if you read his materials you will do fine. I took this class over the summer and it didn't encroach upon my personal time too much. I would definitely recommend this course.
I highly recommend this course to anyone! He was a great online instructor because he responded to all my e-mails almost immediately and was very understanding about technical issues occur during online courses. He provides PowerPoints that were great to study from for the exams/quizzes.
I took MET1010 online and Professor A was great. The book isn't mandatory because he creates his own notes for you that are more specific to what his tests and quizzes are on which for me was quite helpful. The quizzes before each test are unlimited attempts which gave me extra practice on the material before the test.
One of the best professors to take at valencia! I took his online earth science course as one of the electives to graduate. Honestly Prof A is understanding and gets back to you if you have questions or concerns. There are 4 exams and alot of quizzes. The first two tests were hard. If you study off his slides more than your book, you'll get an A.
James is an interesting man witha dry sense of humor and a passion for Geology. You will only learn about Geology and you need to take notes on everything he writes on the board. All his slides are online which are the same as the test. 50 specific questions. Relatively easy if you pay attention. Don't buy the book, he never uses it! Okay.
Took Meteorology online. I wasn't prepared for the little amount of work that the Teacher provided. I like any lazy student would just search up answers online. Although after the first 2 tests that didn't work. Now I have a D and 2 Tests are left. He emails a notice if you are doing bad, just be sure to read his power points or the book more so.
Amazing teacher. Makes the boring stuff fun. Very hands on with labs. Don't miss a class, or you won't catch up.
Mr. Adamski is absolutely the best teacher I have ever taken. I hate science, like I took Human sexuality for my other science credit to get an easy A. But this guy absolutely knows his stuff and he gets so excited teaching. He loves his job and the work is not that hard. Everything is online, notes, test, and assignments. Just take him!
Cares about the students grades
Professor Adamski is an amazing professor! You will learn so much if you take his class. He genuinely cares about his class subject as well as the students in the class! Professor Adamski goes out of his way to make sure you will succeed! Join VESA!!
Professor Adamski really cares about his students. Lectures include videos and professor shows exceptional knowledge on subject. Attendance is not mandatory, and there are a few extra credit opportunities. 5 exams and 10 quizzes (online) were pretty much all of the work throughout the semester. Would definitely take it again. Easy A. GPA Booster.
Professor Adamski is a great science professor. He is passionate about his profession and it shows when he gives a lecture. He requires attendance, so you need to show up. He posts all of the powerpoints and resources on Blackboard. We have a textbook, but we never use it.
LOVING HIS MET CLASS! EVERYTHING IS ONLINE. All the notes are there for you, as long as you read the notes you'll be good to go on the tests. Quizes are more like practice tests for the actual test so it's unlimited attempts. As long as you stay a week ahead, this class is stress-free. TAKE HIM. Signed up for Earth Science this summer online, too.
Professor Adamski is a great meteorology professor. He is truly passionate about his subject and his online tests and quizzes are not difficult if you took down notes during the lectures. I would definitely take another science course with him teaching it because he makes the subject easy to understand and he gives extra credit opportunities.
I took his online class and did not buy a book. Just study the chapter pdf's so you can do good on the tests which are only four you take. The quizzes can be taken unlimited times, and there are very few assignments. He gives a lot of opportunities for extra credit also.
I took this class online over the summer. I had to email the professor several times over the course, and surprisingly he responded almost immediately. If he wasn't available for a brief period of time, he would email the class about it. He gave plenty of resources to help the class understand the subject.
Overall amazing professor , take Adamski he is a gem who cares about people and the Earth, easy A, great group in class study and, simple test study your notes and you will pass.
Probably the nicest professor on East Campus, and he responds super fast to e-mails. Easy class, like you could take it as an elective. He makes the classes enjoyable with cool videos and usually lets you out early.
Online class. Did not buy a book. PDFs to review and study along with a chapter vocab list. Quizzes can be taken unlimited tries (No excuse not to get a 100% on these). 2 - 3 smaller assignments. Tests have a 60 minute timeframe and can only be taken once. Extra credit offered throughout course. Will def take other online classes with him.
Very nice and funny professor. Gives really great and informative lectures. Tests and quizzes are fairly easy, just as long as you study for them, and they are also all online. Class isn't mandatory, and you won't need the book for his class.
A professor who truly cares about his students! Definitely a professor who earns respect wherever he goes. Awesome, caring guy who loves his job and students. Also, an easy A! I highly recommend him!
At first glance I can definitely see why he is highly recommended on this site. My own personal gripes with this professor come from the fact that the directions he gives for projects are very vague and that he is a tough grader on said projects. This lead me to have a pretty miserable time writing a research paper near the end of the semester.
Online class. Did not buy a book. PDFs to review and study along with a chapter vocab list. Quizzes can be taken unlimited tries. Tests have a 60 minute time limit and can only be taken once. Extra credit offered throughout course. Taken several classes with him, passed all.
Prof. Adamski's online class was straightforward. You learn the material from each powerpoint, then take the quizzes and tests. Quizzes are mult. choice and short answer, tests are mult. choice. Everything on them are in the powerpoints. There are also a few various assignments to do, each are meaningful. Extra credit for event participation.
This review is written about 5 weeks into the course. Professor Adamski is a great professor. He is very organized, has a clear syllabus, reasonable grading policies and teaches in a manner that is engaging. The quizzes and tests are not super easy, but he does give you the material to study. He gives extra credit as well! Solid professor.
He really makes class interesting and gives out some jokes and real life examples. Test and Quizzes are every couple of weeks on canvas. Just stay up on your work and have a participating attitude and this will be a easy grade for you. Overall a good professor.
Solid choice professor. He's fair with grading and gives extra credit. Homework, quizzes, and tests are on Canvas. Interesting lectures. Takes attendance and gives an attendance grade. Very organized course. Overall, great professor. I would definitely take another course with him.
He responds to emails within minutes. He even responded to me on Thanksgiving. As long as you take notes on his PowerPoints, you will get an A. Take notes of every bullet point because you never know exactly what's going to be on the exams. You can use notes in tests if you take the course online. Take advantage of extra credit and free pizza.
There's not that many assignments to do to help you keep your grade up even a little and you have exams every other week. There timed and graded heavy so if you failed maybe 2 your most likely going to fail the class. I'd say there's more tests than anything. Would def not recommend at all.
I've been at Valencia as a dual enrollment student for 4 semesters now, and he is by far my favorite professor. I took him for Geology of National Parks, and he made everything so interesting and easy to understand. The workload isn't even bad, a few heavily weighted tests, some quizzes, and a research paper and presentation. You won't regret it!
Taken online. Easy assignments but very few so, hard to maintain A. 3 extra credit opportunities. Short quiz (unlimited attempts), assignment (one try) then timed exam (one try) about every two weeks. The exams 50 questions, 60 mins. Provides lots of powerpoints that are really helpful because NOTHING IS ON QUIZLET.
I've taken three classes with professor Adamski so far, and I would highly recommend. Very passionate about the subjects he teaches, funny dude, laid-back and respectful toward his students. Gives you all the resources you need to pass and always responds to emails in a timely manner. The textbook helps but is not needed which is a nice plus!
This professor is awesome. The main thing about Professor Adamski is that he truly cares about the environment. Clearly, he is doing what he wants to be doing. He is very understanding and is very conducive to open communication. I have taken both his online classes and in person. Both are graded similarly. Quizzes and exams are online.
Wish I had taken his class in person, but his online Earth Science class was enjoyable and interesting. Everything you need is in the PowerPoints (I bought the textbook but didn't use it). A little bummed there were no lecture videos. Passed with an A, but don't feel like I learned much, think I'd have learned more in person, but an overall easy A.
I absolutely admire him, I have taken both his Geology courses. He's a analytical person, and uses a linguistic style of speaking. He gives a TON of extra credit, unless your plain lazy or lack confidence it is impossible to fail his classes. Ask him anything if he can't answer it he can tell you who can. He truly cares for his willing students!!!
not much to do to maintain a grade and he responds in a blunt way. ANY assignment that was graded that wasn't exams he graded very harsh. Wrote a 5page e.c essay and said my topic (on environmental issue, I did climate change) wasn't specific enough got almost no points. I spend a good almost 4 hours writing it with a lot of research
best professor ever!! i wish i could take him for every science class. he is very aware and loves this subject. 8 wk summer class, no textbook, no essays, quizlet and the powerpoints are your best friends. if you're into the environment, this class is the best. final project (super easy- took 30 min) is very eye opening. wish i could take it again
Full on dad vibes, super chill and always sending helpful emails. He gives you at least 2 weeks to complete 3 SUPER easy quizzes and 1 test. The class is broken into 4 modules and each has the same amount of assignments. I would take him again.
Easiest class ever, he gives you powerpoints to learn from and the quizzes and tests are straight from them. He leaves some funny answers as options on multiple choice tests which brightens my day. Few assignments, several quizzes & 5 exams.
Adamski has been my favorite professor I have ever had. He really enjoys what he does, and you can tell. He is always ready to help, there are a lot of extra credit opportunities, and his lectures are really easy to understand. He's clear, concise, and his dad jokes are A-1.
Professor Adamski is awesome! He is very easy going and knows his subject. Assignments are broken down to easily understand and he has great power points to help study. Just take notes and study the power points and you will be fine.
He has PowerPoints to help & Quizlet has some stuff. But make your own in case he changes things up next semester. You can WORK AHEAD! No essay papers, TONS of extra credit available. Cant cheat but you can. 3 assignments, 10 quizzes & 5 exams. The final assignment was easy! (You're not an evolved monkey, don't believe the LIES!)
Simple and straight to the point type of class. It was great to be able to read more about the Earth's environment and have a few sarcastic remarks about mankind destroying the world. Quizzes are the best way to study, along with notes. The assignments weren't bad and very informative about the chapter topic.
This Professor is passionate about everything related to earth and I respect him for that but my only concern was that his exams were not easy so I think that 60 minutes is not enough to get a full grade there are 10 questions that are pictures, there is basically no discussions, homework are tests with unlimited time and he gives many extra credit
This professor is caring and sweet but I regret taking this class. There arent many assignments BUT the answers to all his work is very hard to find, the powerpoints and internet don't help and I wonder if he grabs the questions from outer space. The exams are even harder with a short amount of time. It's very stressful but I do think he was nice.
Professor Adamski's class was amazing! Assignments/ tests were laid out so it was very clear when to submit. He does lectures once in a while (which he records). He emails reminders so you don't miss assignments. He is always just an email away. Make sure you read the powerpoints, they may seem long but they are not really.
I really loved this professor, he really cared a lot and I didn't find the assignments overly difficult, all the answers are in the power points that he provides. He was extremely easy to reach too and answered all emails very fast. We had one project that seemed like a lot but its actually really easy once you start. Highly recommend!!
Online he's a pretty easy class just look through powerpoints before a test and its an easy A
The professor is great and understanding, his class consisted of a lot of lecture videos, slides, and article links you must watch/read in order to pass his quizzes and exams. You have two weeks to complete all the modules before the actual due date so be mindful and dont wait last minute so you arent crammed with a lot of homework.
The class itself is not hard. Hear me out, I hate science. I'm not great at it by any means. Download the supplied PDF's and use ctrl+f. If that doesn't work, use your "resources". Quizes have unlimited time, multiple attempts. Work is due every 2 weeks but can be easily done in 1 day. Everything open from beginning of semester. EASY class!!!
5 Modules for the term, 3 Quizzes 1 Exam. Each are like 10 questions long. Easiest class ever. All answers are in the lesson PowerPoints. Quizzes have unlimited attempts and time. Easy class for a quick and easy A. All assignments are open and you could probably finish this class in a day. There's a month's worth of space to get modules done.
Mixed Mode. There are some reviews I've read that say the complete opposite of my experience with him. He isn't planning on doing in person anymore, but if he ever does (or does Zoom) his lectures are really easy to follow and (in-person) he writes out everything you should know on the board. You can really tell he knows what he's talking about.
I took this class fall 2021. I was a point from getting an A and that's because I didn't do the extra credits he gave and scored low on my first exam. All his lectures and pdfs are in the exams. Read and listen to them and you will get an A in his class. I really enjoyed his lectures. The only downside is he only gives 60 mins to take the exam.
Amazing Professor! Take his class and I promise you won't regret it. Responds very quickly and cares about his students! The class consists of mainly quizzes and exams. 1 discussion and 1 assignment. The final exam is not comprehensive.
Took him for GLY2160 and ESC1000. Loved his class! Non mandatory lectures but fun to join in. Most quizzes are unlimited attempts, unlimited time on the ones that are one attempt only. Highly recommend GLY2160, I learned so much and really enjoyed every assignment!
I had this Professor in the Spring of 2021, he was nice but his style was just not meant for me. He is a tough grader and the notes did not match up with the tests. He would offer optional zoom calls but they were not a guarantee to improve in this class. While he was nice, I spent way more time working on this class than I would have liked.
hes very passionate abt the earth and invites to events and environmental gatherings in parks and springs. he also sometimes hosts them. he gives powerpoints and tests and quizzes are based off of that. hes very nice and kind and the class is pretty easy. use cntrl+f to find specifics. also, tests are very specific so read and learn carefully.
There are around 5 homework assignments and quizzes and one test per module. There are 4 modules and at the end a project that involves a paper and a presentation. Most of the assignments are unlimited attempts with all the answers from the notes. If you stay on top of your homework and do your best on the projects this class is a blast and easy.
Everything is online for his class, super easy. You'll have like 4-5 assignments due in a week & sometimes a exam but everything can be found online & he's super nice so you don't have to worry about reaching out. I am taking his Earth Science class and it's exactly like this class. Good for an easy credit, would be concerned if you couldn't pass.
Professor Adamski is wonderful. I took Meteorology with him and I literally knew nothing about anything science wise but it ended up being super easy. Class attendance did not count at all so I rarely went. Everything is on Canvas and we had short quizzes due each Sunday and then a few tests all online. He gives lots of extra credit and is so kind!
Professor Adamski is my goat. He is genuinely a nice and caring person, and very knowledgable in his field. He'll understand your situation and is very flexible. Everybody needs to take this class, and everybody must strive to be more like Professor Adamski.
GLY2010C is part of the Institutional Gen Ed courses, it shouldn't be. The professor said that at the beginning of the semester. The class is best suited if you know you plan on getting a career somewhere in the realm of Earth Science, if not, the class will be very difficult. It'd be better if there was some field experience, there's none though
BEST PROFESSOR! Professor Adamski had his class open since day 1 and his assignments were very easy. I have never run into problems in his class. EVERY PROFESSOR SHOULD BE LIKE HIM!
Please take this professor! You literally get to work at your own pace and he is not a tough grader at all. No lockdown browser or anything required. He isn't a tough grader either and you can tell he genuinely cares about his students and you passing the course. Take this class I promise you won't regret it!!!
Professor Adamski's class is manageable with the right approach. The lectures and provided materials cover the content well. Using Unstuck AI alongside the textbook and slides helped me ace the quizzes and exams. Overall, a solid class if you stay on top of the work.
