he's an **** and makes you buy all the books, which we never used. buy only the ones you actually use, don't listen to waht he tells you to buy, he lies.failed me,i took same class with Chiradella and got A.failed my papers, which were written by rutgers graduate with 3.9 gpa. once he gets grudge against you, just drop the class.he will fail you

This dude is MF, He thinks he's perfect but he's not. Just run away from his responsibility to teach students not to give advises. He sometimes insults students in class. "DON'T TAKE HIM OTHERWISE WILL GET 'F'"

this teacher that i have currently makes me want to take my pen and stab myself. he is not helpful, the only way i recommend you taking this class is if you like feeling retarted because thats how he makes you feel. you have a ton of homework that takes up the whole day (which he does not explain) HE IS HORRIBLE AND MAKES GRAMMATICAL ERRORS HIMSELF

Teacher does not respond to emails, and does not give clear directions. His online class is miserable do not take him. He seems good at first, but he is contradictory and overall an ass.

Just stay away. By far the most stressful class I had to go through. I took the online class during summer 1 and for those 4 weeks we had 26 assignments, one everyday and at the end a Research Paper, this guy will send emails yelling "FOLLOW MY INSTRUCTIONS". This English 1, where I'm supposed to fall in love with writing not hate it forever.

Seriously the worst class ever. 26 essays in 4 weeks. Every singe day I was rushing to get things done. I was extremely stressed out and on top of it the professor is very cocky and rude. Stay far away from him.

Avoid him if you can. There's a bunch of other English comp professors at middlesex that I guarentee would be a better choice then this one. You don't use a textbook it's all on a website and he is very unclear with what he expects. I am taking him right now and have not gotten over an 80 on anything. Very tough. Very unfair. Don't choose this professor. He is far up his own behind, often talking about how you're "wasting his time" with your writing, especially if you're not super on-point with it. He'll throw in a "I like it" line but his critique is pretentious. Do yourself a favor and don't "waste his time" by taking his class. Find someone else.

DO NOT recommend this professor, in an online class that was only 18 days long there were 28 assignments, If you want to stay up doing homework until 2 or 3 am go for it, but his grading is way too hard and you have to cater to his direct wants not how things actually should be written

contradictory, horrible, is not clear what he wants, will never give you a grade beyond a B, does not accept late anything, do it his way or fail - including emails, his website has a lot of typos but won't fix, only took the class because I needed it to graduate! YOU BEEN WARNED!

My first semester as I freshman I took him coming in loving English. I came out of the class absolutely hatting it. He is an extremely tough grader and rude towards his students. He picked apart my essay that I worked hard on and kept trying to improve, and I ended up with a 50. I barely passed the class, thank god I did. Please dont take him

I remembered him from 20 years ago. Can't believe he is still teaching. He is extremely rude to his students. I had a fear of public speaking back then and didn't do several of my articles. He wasn't good enough to pick up on that with his years of experience; just shook his head in disgust. In the end I dropped his class and left that school.

This professor is just horrible ! I do not know how he has a job !! He picks apart every single assignment. No matter how hard you work on it. 3 to 4 assignments every week. And they are long ! He is rude, wont answer you after the hours of 4pm. So even in an online class. You cant reach him whatsoever. Barely. STAY AWAAY FROM HIM !!!!!

terrible professor, never got back to any emails when i had questions about assignments. Made us write a politcal piece that our peers graded. Did not care about students progress just about getting semester over with. DO NOT TAKE HIM.

did not go to class the first week of semester leaves everything up to interpretation. Leaves the grades terrible because everyone missed them. Does not respond to emails. Does not support communication. Every class is the same. Claims to help improve our ability to understand the subject matter while he does not address the problems that we have.

If he doesn't agree with your essays, he will say you're uneducated or that your valid sources are biased... then say its opinion based when you have the sources to validate it. If your essay doesn't line up with his ideology don't expect to pass the assignment !

He is very rude and unprofessional. He gave me a a D+ even though I completed all assignments! His comments on my returned work was nothing but sarcastic. I retook this course with a different professor and got an A+! I put the same amount of effort in. Maybe Middlesex should really reevaluate who they have there.

THE WORST ENGLISH PROFESSOR. DO NOT TAKE HIM UNLESS YOU HAVE TO. HE WILL MAKE YOU SUFFER BECAUSE HE IS A TOUGH GRADER. AS LONG AS YOU DO THE WORK YOU WILL PASS WITH WITH EITHER A B OR HIGHER. This guy is all about smart remarks instead of making helpful remarks on your paper. He is the toughest grader Ive ever heard or seen of. He takes off ALOT of points for little mistakes. Would never recommend to ANYONE!

Do not take this professor, he's the absolute worst. He is just a straightforward machine when responding to your emails and gives no sentiment beside his critique on work. If your assignment is late by a few minutes or misses 1 thing, he gives you a 0 for it. If it is not done his way, 0. His WHOLE POLICY is trash.

Do yourself a favor and don't take this professor! He's awful and ruined my 4.0 GPA. No matter how hard you try he never compliments anyone's work. He is very disrespectful, makes sarcastic, nasty comments on everyones' essays. I had straight As until I took his class. DON'T TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!

Seems nice in the beginning, but I shortly realized how tough he is as a teacher. He barely responded to my questions, and when he did, he gave smart remarks when I asked why I got points off for something I did correctly. He is the toughest and rudest professor I've come across. Vague instructions, but is a tough grader and you will lose many points from little mistakes. His notes were rude and vague. He told you to write for as a writer not to impress the teacher, but I only managed to pass the class when I started trying to impress him. Professor B was the worst teacher ever. He doesn't care about his students. He labeled the students with numbers and I wasn't allowed to put my name on anything. Don't forget to put your code on anything or you will automatically get a 75 for it. I emailed him about my issues and instead of getting back to me he sent a mass email about upset studen

This is the worst Professor, i strongly advice not to pick this man. I had to transfer course in the first week I had issues with canvas and he was so non-chalant and lacked understanding. I tried to get my grades up but he was so difficult, never gave feedback, would be sarcastic and rude in his comments. He is the absolute worst

This professor fails to help students pass the class. From personal experience, I've constantly communicated with him through email and messages using Canvas to never receive a reply regarding my work. I think he would rather see you fail. I would not recommend him to a peer, ever. If I knew of a way to report him to the school, I would have.

This professor doesn't know what he's doing. He grades harshly for no reason and doesn't even spell correctly even though he is an English teacher. You're probably going to end up failing. Don't take this class.

Not enough explanation for any of the assignments. Dropped this course early on in the semester. English used to be one of my favorite subjects and he completely took the joy out of learning the English language. I would definitely not recommend taking his class if it is your first time in college or first time doing school online.

I took him my first semester at MCC, 18 years old. Day 1 he let us know the stats of the majority of us finishing a degree- which is not high. I have had many professors, as I am studying for a master's degree, and by far, Prof Bernaducci is the worst professor I have had yet. He is an extremely harsh grader, and even if you go word by word to try and please him, you will never meet his standards. Good luck if you take his class, you're never going to achieve anything more than a C grade.

He shows little to no regard for anyone in his class. The homework was usually confusing and excessive. He grades harshly. Even the extra credit assignments don't help as he grades them just as harshly as everything else. Would never, ever recommend taking any of his classes.

This professor is not clear on any assignments. His instructions are not clear at all, he's not a friendly professor not helpful even when sending messagers /emails about the assignment he will respond with another question "I'm not understanding you" I didnt gain anything from his class.

Horrible profesor doesn't update you on any assignments, doesn't communicate on where assignments are located, he is very arrogant. You have to self grade half of your work and have several essays for 1 semester. Wouldn't recommend at all. His class is very confusing and not organized at all.

His communication style can be pretty blunt, sometimes even offensive. He doesn't always filter his comments, and if you're sensitive to criticism, it can be a bit much. It's something to keep in mind when deciding whether to take this class. (extremely egotistical and rude)

Don't bother asking for help. He doesn't give personal feedback, he'll send you a document of how things should be done after the fact. Don't bother taking his class, he's rude and he has a big ego.

Do not take unless you want to be bombarded with snappy remarks about your writing. Very tough grading criteria and will have you read his rules from his booklet every time you make an error. Made the mistake picking him for my first ever college English class and was put through the wringer. His website also doesn't work half the time so warning.

Simply just frustrating, don't take this class unless you want to fail. Never get a 100 on an assignment he makes it impossible for you to get a good grade. Clear bias on certain political topics. Cannot remember students names. Grades students harshly on spelling mistakes, but does numerous spelling mistakes himself. Hypocrite. Rude. Don't take this class.

The teacher is hypocritical and often contradicts himself. He mocks your accent or even your name and ignores real-life needs like doctor's appointments. He knows what he's doing, and his sarcasm and the bad classroom atmosphere make learning frustrating.
