FUNNY COOL GUY. It is an easy A. Sometimes, he repeats things to make sure we get them. You may "learn" more from another prof, but he is the most intelligent/funny teacher i have had. Plus juggling was fun.

DEFINITELY take this class. The TAs are sometimes ****y, but Brophy is so laid-back and if you have a problem, you can just go to him. Make sure you check online for quizzes, but otherwise you're set. You get to watch Fight Club too.

VERY EASY! Brophy is fun and very different. He teaches material in a fun way. Easy A but also alot of fun. Lots of movies and extra credit.

You can tell he is very smart and most of the class loves his jokes. If you like to hear jokes pertaining to sex all the time then this is the class for you, although I personally think that is ridiculous in a class setting.

Definitely take this prof. And this class. Very funny. Makes you learn. Play with clay, draw, and learn to juggle. Gave us 50 hurricane pts. Kind of hard material;science. Over all great prof.

Great professor!!! In a class of like 400 mostly everyone shows up, and thats bc he makes class fun. There is no possible way to fail. He's helpful but he refers you to your TA's and our TA this year are disorganized, and they often confuse the students and change things up.

This class has lots of busy work, but definitely lots of easy assignments, with a few hard ones. His lectures are interesting. He keeps you engaged. His TA's kinda suck. It would've been nice to see a male TA. He's very generous with points. Good class to take!

Dr. Brophy is an amazing professor. He is funny and you will learn a lot without even realizing it. There is a whole bunch of useless busy work but if you somewhat try you will get a high B if not an A. A word of warning...you will need to know how to juggle!!! :-/

This class was AWESOME! He was a great teacher although if ur interested in learning a lot this is not the class for you. There is a LOT of busy work but well worth it cuz u will definitely get an A if u just do maybe half of it.

He's the best professor on campus. Every class is so much fun. You don't have to worry so much about your grade - if you just come to class you will learn a lot and do fine. Makes it very easy to get an A.

He's really really easy, very liberal and free willed with grades and basically just wants you to hear what he has to say and learn something. He uses lots of comparisons to explain things which makes it really easy

Brophy is the best professor that I've had so far! The material was boring, but he made it interesting. He's very understanding when it comes to completing assignments. Hardly anyone misses class, though. This was one class that I always went to willingly. I just wish he taught more courses.

Best class and impossible to not get an A. Always fun to go to class, its more like an entertaining show. Nice guy. Even if you feel like you don't understand the tests, stay calm because you'll still get an A. Just go to class and do extra credits and you'll be good to go.

Easy class.Your grade is based on points form all assignments and extra credit, not test scores. I got a c on the 1st and 2nd tests but i did all the assignments and extra credit and ended up with 965 points out of 1000, 96.4% before the final, so i did not have to take the final,i already had an A

Really laid back class. Attendance not important, but it's really entertaining to go. The book is pretty easy and the study materials and extra credit make it almost impossible to not get an A.

EASY but a lot of **** work. God if you want to get an A and a funny professor. He is a good guy but remember to keep up with your assignments online when you took him. I had a B because I didn't take the class seriously. If you take him semi-seriously you'll get an A. It on't be handed to you.

This is the easiest class ever. I missed a project and 3 quizzes, then got bad grades on the rest of the quizzes because I didn't look at the book, and I still got a high B. If you try at all, you'll get an A. Brophy is hilarious in lectures, but you don't have to go. Sorry to see him retire. :(

EASY A. Brophy is hilarious. Funniest old dude ive ever met. Gives out so much extra credit that most people don't have to take the last exam. Once ur at 900 points ur allowed to skip the rest of the semester. I ended about 3 weeks early.

Brophys class is fine, a lot of answers are wrong, on quizzes and what not. The TAs are REALLY dumb, they cant spell at all. He makes you do a lot of pointless work, but if you read the books, the class is VERY interesting

If you can't get an A in Brophy's class please consider tech school or a major in Hospitality Management. I learned absolutely nothing; I have nothing positive to say about him. I wish I would have taken a different professor and actually learned the material.

Brophy was by far my favorite teacher at UCF, I graduate in a semester and I'll never forget what he taught me.

He was an amazing professor and was one of the few classes I looked forward to going to. He is halirious and makes learning a boring/hard subject fun. There is a lot of busy work(little projects:juggling,clay brain models,crossowords for the reading etc) but that's his way of having us learn the material. Very laid backed, would def. reccomend him!

This class is super easy! Tons of extra credit. I was done with the class 3 weeks early! Brophy is also hilarious. Although he doesn't teach from the book, so you do have to study for the tests! But if you do the extra credit and the assignments, you'll be done after the second test!

This was one of my easiest classes I have ever had, and what made it better was the guy was funny as hell. I had his class twice a week and he only came once a week. We watched alot of movies that were awesome and had to do with the class (Fight Club). Take this class with him for a esay GenEd. You'll love him. Stop going to class two months ago.

Loved the class. Even though I was done half way through the semester, I still showed up because he teaches not out of the book, but through real life examples. He uses himself and his family/friends to teach you. Showed a lot of movies. Everything is online, so you really only need to go to class to turn something in. But he makes you want to go.

I took this class online with him. Great class, very easy I got a very high A and once u reach a certain amount of points u can stop doing the work. The only thing that sux is you have to learn how to juggle like u do for all his classes but i couldn't really do it and as long as you try they give u full credit. I would definitely recommend it

If you can't enjoy this class you don't have a pulse. This is the most hilarious professor ever and the scary part is his wise-cracks and off-color remarks actually help you remember the stuff you're supposed to. Big ups to this guy and you should take his class regardless of your major.

Online course.. Lots of small projects but easy A. Loved the course!

Class is managed by good TA's. Never heard directly from Brophy. 3 exams, 6 quizzes, 4 informal 1-pg papers, 1 simple "color-in-the-brain-parts" exercise, 1 simple "make-a-few-brain-parts-out-of-clay" exercise, & YES, you have to learn to JUGGLE, because it is an example of cause/effect brain growth. Sounds like lots, but it's a fun & EASY CLASS.

AWESOME CLASS! If u need 2 take PSY 2012 u HAVE to Take Brophy. Its my favorite class and Brophy is so funny. This was my fourth and final class with Dr. Brophy. He is wonderful. That is the reason I took him for ALL of my required psychology classes. He likes to see us do well. Loads of extra credit, group exams, and easy assignments provide the students with an avenue to have fun, learn, and still get an A.

This online class was easy as could be..I have taken some pretty easy classes at UCF and this one is near the top of the list. Crazy amounts of extra credit. A few quizzes, a few random assignments, and a final, none of which were very difficult. You might not learn too much, but I highly recommend for any class that he might teach.

Read the text before taking the online quizzes or you won't do well on them, he doesn't go over much in class but you get to watch memento and fightclub. learn to juggle early! practice with scarves it's easier.

The class is easy and the ta is very helpful. The class needs a lot of reading. Overall, the class is good to take for any psychology major.

I'm a hardcore slacker and I have the extra credit exam left, 5 points away from an A right now. You get an A, you're done. There's no excuse to do bad in this class. You get weeks to take one quiz, no time limit. As long as you have decent mathematical skills you can juggle. There are three guidelines for the two short papers you right. Easy A.

I loved the class. Learning to juggle was fun. It was a very kinesthetic class -- don't sign up unless you really want to learn and invest time in the material.

Dr. Brophy's class was informative. I took it over the web and learned a lot. There was virtually no interaction with him but the assignments he created were okay. The only problem was juggling, I think it's stupid. Fortunately, there's enough extra credit available that if you don't do the juggling you're not really hurt at all.

I do not believe there could possibly be an easier professor at this university. I took him for three online classes and after each one I felt like I just took the easiest class at UCF. I'm starting to find a lot of online psych classes are like this..... Anyway, take any class of his online for an easy A without learning much about psychology.

Took his online class and never spoke to the man myself. For all I know he doesn't exist. His TA's taught the entire course. Tests are easy and about 300 extra credit points to make up.

Easiest teacher I have ever had. Out of 1000 points, I got 1043. So much extra credit. Projects are so easy, and shows a lot of movies. In class quizzes he practically yells out the answers so you don't miss any. Some of the TA's suck, but overall great class. If you don't make an A+ in this class, then something's wrong with you. Brophy gave everyone in our class an A on the first test. How awesome can a professor be? The rest of the class is a point system. Easiest class I ever took in my life. Never ever studied. Two fun projects. Piece of cake! And I hardly went to class. Extra credit every day. Self-explanatory- if you are looking for an easy A, definitely take this class! If you want to fail or work your behind off and still get a B or C, take Negy. I took Dr. Brophy for EXP3404 and PSB3002, both online. The class assignments were the same, but you had to approach them from different perspectives. Overall,if you take it online,you don't have contact with him. A TA will be your contact for the entire semester. The quizzes are untimed. The assignments are simple. It should be an easy A for most.

At first I thought this class was hard. I din't like the fact that I had to answer to TA and not the professor. I didn't like the juggling assignment. However, the papers and the quizes were not that bad. I did read the chps and learned something. I worked hard for my "A". first when class started u started w/"F" I was not happy. then worked "A"

Brophy is great! If you get offended easily, then watch out cause this guy isnt afraid to tell it how he thinks it! The tests and the juggling paper are a little hard. but if you keep at it, go to class, pay attention, read up on the book, you'll do fine!

Dr. Brophy teaches several psych online courses...I would definitely recommend them if you're cool with taking online classes. Pretty much, you have open book quizzes and a few assignments...juggling, drawings, and clay models. It wasn't easy, but I expected as much from a psych class.

Prof is super easy! If you do goo in teh beginning of teh semester and get 900 points, he guarantees you an A in the class. Easy online class!! Kind of confusing as to what the assignments were in the beginning, and the TA's are sort of unorganized, but it was super easy. Consists of exams, a juggling paper (really easy to BS), two article reviews, juggling performance (through video). Easy A, although I really didn't learn anything.... except how to juggle.

I have taken 3 different classes with him, and he is by far the easiest teacher at UCF. Only problem is that you don't learn much. Great professor. Took for Physiological Psych and it was so easy. Will leave with an A in the class. Do your juggling early! The bonus points will save you. NEED book but not the clay and juggling packets. You can get all those on your own if you want for cheaper. Just keep up and youll do fine.

You will get an A in this class if you do all of the work, which is not hard. Great teacher who designed the course, the Hat book is very interesting. He makes it so you don't have to do much reading, but you do need to draw, make clay models, and learn to juggle. lol. Great class.

There are 8 quizzes- 2/week. 25 questions each. Answers straight from text. 1 paper due. You have to learn how to juggle (yes, you read that correct- juggle). 100 question final exam. I thought the class was pretty easy. My only complaint was the redundant useless discussion posts from other students in the class.

Amazing professor. Lectures were hilarious, but had little to do with subject matter. If you go, you'll receive tons of extra credit, and laugh the entire time. While the material in this class is somewhat difficult, the teacher makes it easy to gain points needed for a good grade. He asks you to learn to juggle as well as make clay models of parts of the brain and draw them in this class. This was a online class and I enjoyed it. As long as you make a serious effort, you will get a good grade.

Online. A lot of extra credit points available. Assignments are pretty easy. TAs do everything, but they do an ok job. 2nd class w/Brophy, I would take him over an over. Tests are pretty tedious...not hard, but LONG... but there is no time limit so you can print it and work on it over a few days.

I took Dr. Brophy Online over the summer. He gives out 1 quiz a week that doesn't even have a time limit so you can print the test out and work on it in your spare time. Dr. B subscribes to the idea that learning is not supposed to be about stressing over grades. He's very knowledgeable about the material. In his class, you have power over your outcome. MOST PEOPLE DO MORE than they have to -because they enjoy it. You can use extra credit to get the grade (if you need to) or to reinforce understanding of material.

So grateful for this class and professor when some of my other classes were stressing me out! This one was a welcome relief, he treats you like you're an adult wanting to learn and not like you're in high school with all the dumb deadlines, and tricky exams.

Dr. Borphy is the the best teacher i and ucf have ever had. he is very helpful u actually can study and get better grade without any stress. Can easily say he is the best professor at UCF! Class wasn't easy nor was it extremely hard. He offers plenty of extra credit opps, so there's not excuse for not getting an 'A'! Juggling isn't a must if you do the extra credit, but I'd recommend doing it as you can get extra credit from it (for learning earlier) and also it's pretty cool to know!

You get what you put into this course. If you're looking for an easy A, you'll definitely have one. If you're actually interested in learning the subject, you will learn the subject. There is ample assistance and guidance in the course for those who seek it.

This was a great class. I took it over the summer so the class was small. He's an interesting professor and encourages lots of discussion. He also practices what he teaches in terms of building new neuron connections. You will learn to juggle.

Took him for Research Methods. He is a great teacher no doubt about it. He is extremely concerned with his students doing well in his class and will do anything to help you. His teaching style is different than other professors but he does it to keep you interested. He is very out there and calls you out sometimes but does it playfully. Got an A.

I had this course face-to-face. He is a really nice guy. He definitely wants his students to do well and pass with an A. Tests are online and are not timed. We had a few NY Times presentations, which were brief and informal. His idea behind the presentations is to get students comfortable with speaking in front of an audience.

This professor is simply AMAZING! I took him for Research Method this semester and getting ready to take another course with him in the spring. You have to do the work. As long you do the work and do all of the extra credits, you WILL earn your A:-)

Dr. Brophy is one of the best psychology professor's at UCF. Even if you're not a psych major-you should take a class with him. Fairly easy A. A ton of extra credit!! There are exams, unlimited time and there are a mistakes, but he usually awards a curve, never got lower than a B without curve. A lot of materials, but I still recommend! :)

Brophy's by far the BEST professor at UCF. He genuinely cares for his students and goes above & beyond to help them achieve their desired grade. Gives extra credit like there's no tomorrow. If you don't achieve an A, its because you simply did not put forth any effort. He's full of advice and insight and I truly admire him. He's helped me SO much!

Brophy's teaching style is unlike any other. He cares for his students and he makes the class time FUN! Gives ample amounts of extra credit, just to make sure you don't fall behind. He is a marvelous professor and I've taken him twice now, going on three. Wish he taught more courses.

His quizzes aren't timed with the online class. The TA's aren't harsh graders by any means (they are the ones grading your assignments). You have to do neural modelsdrawings and a juggling performance along with the quizzes and two New York Times videos and writing assignment that took me five minutes to do and you're done! Easy course! :)

Easiest online course ever, it's like I was only taking 3 classes this semester. There's about three assignments due every month basically. And the assignments are so easy, along with the chapter quizzes that aren't timed and open book. Got a 100!

This professor really teaches and interacts with his class, provides ample opportunity for learning. By far, the most inspiring, fabulous and upbeat lectures. My very favorite professor and from what I understand, the favorite of most of his students. He does have command of his class because... he's a great teacher.

Prof B is as dedicated as they could come. He had a difficult semester however, and our class took a hit from losing a TA that had a lot of control. That changed how much content we actually took away from the class, but he still made sure that we took away some life lessons. Take time to get to know him, and make a friend!

Dr. Brophy is very dedicated to making sure his students do well. He is very helpful and will go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied. Many people have commented that it is very hard to get in contact with him, but keep in mind that he also has so many students to keep track of. If it is urgent, make sure to email or call him right away.

Dr. Brophy is a model professor! He cares about his students and their grades. Gives extra credit to help boost your grade and more than enough time to complete your quizzes and tests without feeling test anxiety. The course material was pretty easy! Prof Brophy does his best to make sure students learn the material. The important thing is to try your best and participate and he will make sure you pass the class. Textbook is needed. The course consists of several assignments (including speaking in front of the class), short quizzes, exams, and learning how to juggle. Not an easy A need to read

Best teacher I've had so far! Awesome lecturer, makes the class interesting (and I have a great dislike for physiology lol), & definitely interested in finding new ways to teach his students things. Also very considerate! Heard the bookstore was selling his book for $200+ and told the students to not buy it/return it. Would take him for everything!

Dr. B. is funny, witty, brings more education to class than one could ever hope to receive from a text. Take him for every class he teaches... he is a remarkable lecturer! Cares about his students, knows his topics. There aren't enough words to praise Dr. B. Makes you want to be there, to learn. Wouldn't trade classes with him for anything.

Dr. Brophy isn't your usual professor, and I think this is what makes him special. In class he tells a lot of stories which can sometimes seem off topic, but I learn more from him than professors who just read off Powerpoint. He really does show that he cares about his students, and he's not afraid to kid with them. Don't take yourself so serious.

Dr. Brophy is one of the best professors at UCF. If you have the chance to take him, please do. He genuinely wants you to know the information, but will also care about the things that pop up in life and work with you on missed assignments/extra credit. Seriously, if you have the choice between him and any other professor, always choose Brophy.

This professor is great! I took his class online & felt that it was probably one of the most organized classes but super easy! The material itself is difficult but as long as you read the book you'll do fine. He has ALOT of work due though on the same day, usually a preview quiz, quiz & then some other misc assignments. OVERALL HE WAS GREAT.

This class was an easy A. Chapter quizzes were super easy, as were the tests (4 of them). You NEED the book in order to do well on the quizzes and exams. Come word for word out of text. Mainly get help from his TA's if you need any. There's a juggling assignment, but it was actually really fun. He offers SO MUCH extra credit.

I thought his online class was very structured and very clear on what was expected. Super easy! Tons of extra credit opportunities that there is no reason you shouldn't pass with an A.

Best prof for Research Methods! Classes are smaller for a usual UCF psych class, and participation matters. Material is learned through reading the book, and quizzes are given each class on the chapters. Tends to ramble in lecture, but is interesting to learn and applies research methods to real-life situations. No big research paper.

The TA will be who you communicate to about everything. You can extend due dates if you need it. You will be required to learn how to juggle and there are a few fun and easy projects. There are quizzes and test (I don't remember how many). He gives extra credit and there are a few papers. Easy class I just didn't put in the work for the juggling.

Dr. Brophy was an incredible Professor who made learning FUN! He curses tp get your attention... and guess what.... it WORKS! People need to lighten up! I credit him with putting me on the path to becoming the successful psychologist that I am today! Thank you Dr. Brophy! You are awesome!

I took him for a 6 week online summer course. I missed a minimum of five assignments which were weighed heavily. Three assignments were 20 points. One was 50 points and one was even for 100 points. I passed with a B. An 80 or an 89 will still give you a B. All quiz answers are found online. No need to purchase the book. You cant fail this class!!!

This class is an easy A, with a professor who is a lot of fun to listen to. His lectures often aren't about the topic, but more his own experiences and musings. The head TA was very nice and lead a few "homework days" for getting stuff done. Dr Brophy cares about your success and wants you to learn what you need to know, not just get another credit

Easiest college "A". Class is very different 3 chapter exams 3 chapters per exam Silly juggling video uploads 5 total with final performance at the end of the semester. Lots of extra credit opportunities that will pad your grade if you do not do the juggling videos. I did 3 total each is worth 10 points final video 50 points. Easy course recommend!

Very nice professor. It's easy to get an A, and he gives literally a ton of extra credit. In class, you don't really learn a lot, but he's not boring at all and actually cares about students. I 10/10 recommend him if you're trying to get a good grade.

This was an EASY A. Dr Brophy gives a lot of assignments, but as long as you keep on top of it, you would do fine. Lots of extra credit to get an A. The course can be a little disorganized, but the TA's are there to help answer any questions.

Dr. Brophy really cares about his students' futures. He spends a lot of time in class talking about ways we can become better students/scientists/people. He is a bit controversial so don't be afraid to voice your opinions-- he relishes in-depth conversation. The TA's are amazing . He's very interactive, so the lectures are never boring.

This class is amazing! The Professor has an out of the box approach to teaching the information and I enjoyed it so much. One of the best courses I have taken at UCF.

This class was pretty easy, especially if you read the textbook. The textbook can be found online and doesn't need to be purchased. There are juggling assignments, but don't be intimidated. As long as you show effort in the juggling video, you'll be good. Read the textbook for the tests!! Do all the extra credit!

I enjoyed this class. The textbook is long but really interesting. The quizzes and exams are easy. I loved the coloring and labeling assignments. The juggling assignments were annoying but you could pass the class without doing them. The TA's run the class and grading can be inconsistent so be sure to know who your TA is. Overall it's an easy A.

There were so many opportunities for bonus points. There were lots of coloring and labeling pages which can get annoying because they take some time but that clears at the second half of the semester.

The title of this class scared me. It's just like any other psych class where you read the Textbook and take a quiz. Only thing is he expects you to learn how to juggle. As long as you show effort and practice you will get a good grade. This class isn't bad at all. Respectable guy.

Dr. Brophy is amazing! It's clear by how the course is set up that he cares about student success. Responds to emails and gives out his number. Grade based on points, not a percentage. Many assignments (helps grade though). Be ready to label, color, make models, etc. (Not my favorite, but easy & helps you learn material).

The syllabus describes the coloring & juggling assignments from day one and how the class runs on a point system rather than percentages. The TAs and LTAs were so kind and helpful, and Dr. Brophy's cell is on the home page. Not every professor's teaching style will be for you, but he was one of the most caring and fun professors I've taken. 10/10

This class was easier than I expected. I was a little scare about the juggling assignments but all you have to do is try and you get full points. Be aware this class is run by TA's the professor is a no show. Be ready to do modelings and colorings/labels, that can get annoying and petty but it's easy.

Love Professor Brophy! He is super nice and made the course pretty easy. It is on the Lake Mary campus but he doesn't require you to go to the campus. It is graded on a point system, you have an assignment and quiz on the chapter each week and then either a lab or a writing assignment. Plenty of extra credit to help with your grade as well.

Loved this class so much! Took it over summer B and had coloring assignments, quizzes, and exams. They were all easy. Lots of extra credit was provided so I ended up with a higher score.

Class consisted of coloring and labeling sections of the brain, quizzes, crossword puzzles, exams, projects. The coloring and labeling content was hard to find in text. Quizzes and exams are simple. One project includes making 3d models of brain. Oh and you also have to juggle and record process of learning to juggle. Word load is kind of heavy.

So kind, and the material while it is text heavy, his assignments were easy to understand/easy to do. Get ready to juggle. No literally, you'll learn to juggle in this class. Very fun! Definitely recommend!

Assignments and quizzes are easy as long as you read the textbook. Though the final is optional, the final paper is kind of a lot.

I loved this class; there were some hard assignments here and there, but overall, it felt easy to me. I did not purchase the textbook, but most people do. Reminded me of AP Psychology.

The TA were nice and gave feedback if they took points off. The class is very straightforward and if you do the work you will pass. The only thing I didn't do was the juggling video assignments. There are also opportunities for extra credit. The color & label assignments were easy but CHECK spelling. Quizzes and Materia assignments were easy too.

An easy class with some quirky assignments like juggling and coloring. The TAs are helpful, and the textbook is useful. Unstuckstudy AI made studying a breeze. Definitely recommend for an A!

In the class, there are juggling progress videos you do to show that you are trying to learn juggling (he has a page on why he has you juggling). You are also coloring pages and labeling them with the chapter of the week. There are reading materials provided in the course as well as the textbook that you have to get for him.

Dr.Brophy is very compliant with this complex subject. The homework was simple but time-consuming. Take good notes to study for the quizzes and exams. If you stumble, there are lots of bonus assignments to boost grades. This class heavily relies on TAs, so your grade will depend on their flexibility. Overall, I would retake him.

Great professor! I was worried about it being a difficult class because of the subject, but he makes the class fun and simple. A lot of coloring/labeling assignments and you even do some juggling! If you need this class I highly suggest taking it with him!

I took this class last semester at UCF when I was soooo ready to be done. The content is straightforward, but there are quite a few assignments each week. You will have to print and color brain diagrams, which makes you feel like a kindergartener; make sure you have colored pencils or crayons. Overall, easy A if you actually do everything.

I took it in person and I recommend it. Very laid back, funny, and chill professor. Goes off on tangents all the time, but class was usually interesting because of it. Assignments weren't overwhelming. You can take exams with a buddy so that's helpful if you get hung up on a question. Gave us all a bunch of extra credit just for attending :)
