i have so far enjoyed his class. He is very helpful when going to his office hours or asking questions during class. I would recommend taking his psych classes to anyone interested in psychology.

I'm not gonna lie..when I signed up for this class I didn't know who the teacher was and when I walked in on the first day and saw who he was I was terrified. I had had him as a sub before and thought he was a total ****! I stuck with the class anyway and am very glad I did! He's actually a really nice guy and teaches all the material very well!!

This class was a lot of fun! I didn't know what teacher I was getting when I first signed up, but I'm glad I got him! It was his first time teaching human sexuality so he used the book a lot, but he did a good job teaching. He's a laid back guy and will make jokes with you, but does expect you to know the material for the test which are easy.

Great prof, summer course so lots of reading but no home work. Attendance only taken 1st few days to drop no sho's. 2 exams, 2 page paper on contraception, and a final. Does a great job of teaching a touchy subject without wierding you out! Lets you ask lots of questions which is a plus! I def would take him again.

Awesome teacher, teach well, professional, laid back. I don't think the book is necessary as long as you attend lectures. Easy A if you pay attention. He's very proper with his language since it is a sensitive subject. He doesn't judge anyone who has a comment or question. Overall, take him!

Professor Frazee was awesome!! I took him over the summer so the class was fast paced and compacted but he still made it very enjoyable. He doesnt really care too much for attendance, welcomes questions, and is a real stickler for texting in class. He's really laid back and will help you as much as he can. And he's FUNNY!! when possible Take him!!

Effective teacher on a complicated and hard subject matter, biology of the brain. Great speaker for lectures, keeps the material interesting and engages the class. Is very clear about expectations, expects you to attend lectures, and read the book to cover test material. Knows his subject very well and teaches to the class. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

At first you may hate him, but once you give it a few weeks you will learn that he is very smart and has an amazing teaching style. He is very opinionated and it shows! But, shouldn't teachers challege us? What's the point of college without challenging teachers and classes? If you want to actually learn something, take him!

Great psychology professor. He is quite opinionated and its apparent but he challenges his students and you end up learning a lot in class. He expects you to study like a college student and if you like to wing it, don't take him. Only take him if you are ready for a challenge and want to learn the material. I would recommend him.

Frazee is awesome. I took both stats with him and human sexuality and it is evident through his teaching how much he cares about his students. hes really funny and is always encouraging students to come in and see him in his office hours. hes incredibly helpful and really is a great teacher. being in his class was fun and interesting. take him!!!!!

One of the most interesting and fun classes I've ever taken. His tests are very straight forward, just read the designated chapters and you'll be fine. A word to the wise, his personality is (how do I say this) a little intense; he may seem combative, but he's actually really nice. EXCUSE MY GRAMMAR.

Took him for 330 after taking him for Psyc300. One of my favorite teachers, i mean Professor/Dr. Extremely intelligent and passionate about psychology. Seems somewhat intimidating at first but is actually very approachable. People who complain obviously just want an easy grade rather than learn the subject.

If you actually want to learn something take his class, if you just want someone to give you a good grade go to DeVry since it won't mean anything anyways.

He's really an intelligent and personable Instructor. I have only been in this class for 2 weeks but it's so drastically better from STATs 300 with Nelsenador, that I'm hopeful I will pass and learn something too. He relates to students well, since he struggled with STAT's and had a professor that explained it until he got it.

Frazee is intense but also has a great sense of humor. He is passionate about teaching useful subject matter and in this class I learned more than in any other class in ARC/CRC, maybe even combined! He knows his stuff reg: bio psyc. Amazing class and amazing teacher. He expects you to pay attention and show respect for him and the subject.

Professor Frazee is a really good instructor. He approaches lectures in a straightforward way and expects his students to be adults. He made the subject very manageable and was pretty lenient on hw and in class assignments. Don't be intimidated on the 1st day, just stick with it and do the class assignments. Also, go to his office hours!

If you are ever going to take a class at CRC you need to take Bio Psych with Frazee. Lectures open your mind to new ideas and completely altered my career goals. Labs with sheep brains are very hands on and interesting. Frazee is extremely knowledgable on the topic and his sense of humor and use of sarcasm keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Professor Frazee is a great teacher. He explains topics very thoroughly and tells you his expectations clearly. It is possible to earn an A in his class. However, you must READ THE BOOK before class, otherwise you will fail miserably. If you want to learn Psychology, he is your professor, if you want to just skim through a class do not take him.

Dr. Frazee is a cool professor. For human sexuality the class was interesting to learn. Class is all lecture but he makes it fun to engage in. You need to read the book though, this is key. Overall was a fun class and was not to challenging as long as you keep up with the material.

He is a great teacher! Took his PSYC 312, 330, and 356 classes. He's very clear and knows a lot of information. DEFINITELY read the textbook for all of his classes. His lectures are straight forward but reading is essential for doing well in his classes. His lectures are very interesting and easy to follow so make sure to go to class!

Frazee is an amazing professor. If you want a class that is going to be clear cut, boring, and to the point than this is not the class for you. If you want to be inspired and relate everything you've learned to real life than he is the man. My bf took him and I had to check him out for myself. He is truly inspiring and dedicated to teaching

So far this teacher has been good, but if you plan on coming in late, not taking notes, missing a lot of classes, and not reading the book, then DO NOT take this class...or any other class at that :P but really this is not the easiest or the hardest class I've had. If you do the opposite of what is written above, you should be fine.

I took this class because I was very interested in the brain, human or otherwise. I enjoyed this class completely. Frazee will help those that seek out said help and is absolutely willing in any way he can. I missed turning in the major paper he required, which "was an A paper" according to him, and still passed. All you have to do is be willing.

Professor Frazee is a great professor. He knows what he's talking about and he expects you to read the chapter you guys are learning about so you can contribute to the lectures in class. The tests were do-able BUT studying and looking over the book is essential in passing the tests and overall the class.

Sure, he speaks his mind (maybe too much) but as a professor, if you go to his office hours he will do his best to help you. Come to class. Everyday. Each lecture matters. You dont need to read book much if you understand what he wantsexpects from you so take good notes. He's very good at making stats make sense.

Professor Frazee is honestly one of the best Professors out here in CRC, probably in SAC! He keeps it real with his students and he really makes you think twice about who you are lol. So Prof. Frazee is legitimately the best professor I've had. I missed one of the exams and he let me make it up with a paper. Why? I showed up to every class, i took notes, i asked questions and made him laugh. He is sarcastic and straight up and has the best humor I've had the pleasure of hearing n a while. Teaches in a peculiar way than what most people are used to. He calls out people who are late to class, unfortunately for him I liked the negative attention. Something he does is he locks doors on exam days so dont be late or youre not getting in. He also wants you to memorize definitions word by word but Ive reviewed the day before and passed.

One of the hardest classes I've taken but also one of the best and most eye-opening. You need to use the book, but he won;t remind you to read. Tests are based on the book and in-class lectures.

Your whole grade is based on the best 3/4 tests, which in my case was great to not have all the extra fluff assignments, you either get it or you dont. Definitely heavy on student accountability and makes it clear its your job to know the material come test day. Great lecturer and fun class to sit in. I would take more of his classes if i needed.

Great at lecture as well as keeping students excited to learn. Will work with you but if you don't have a good understanding of the material or stress yourself out on a test there is no fall back points from homework to help you. Reading the textbook helps but he doesn't provide instructions on the website so everything he says you need from notes

One of my favorite classes bc of Frazee! He really wants to help you realize that anyone can pass this class if they put in the work. The 1st half of class is lecture and the 2nd is doing an example on your own. Points come from 4 exams & 6 SPSS assignments. Reading and attendance are necessary to succeed; he doesn't post lecture slides online.

Really loved him! He is really smart and gives great lectures. He is obviously passionate about his work, and I recommend people to take his class all the time. I look forward to taking him again! He has made me super excited to pursue a degree in psychology, I feel extremely prepared for my next classes. Must study for this class though.

Took him Spring 18 & I am really shocked he gave me an A because throughout his whole class I felt like a loner and dumb/failing. It was hard, simple math, but lots of steps w/ the utilization of the SPSS system on the old computer. Attend every day, write good notes, his slides go by quickly so sit next to someone smart for help too. Khan Academy!

If possible, take PSY300 with Prof. Frazee! Lectures are fascinating and engaging, and make you think about life and the world in a new way. Get ready to study--there is no way to pass the exams if you don't put in the work. He only tests on what he lectures, but still read the book. An inspiring professor!!!

Doesnt care about attendance but if you skip class you have to make up for it. He is very clear in his explanations and knows when everyones checked out and its time to end class. All lecture and a few tests. By far my favorite professor, super respectable and funny. Wouldnt recommend if you dont test well but if you do this is your professor.

I enjoyed this class more than any of my other classes. You have to really pay attention in class and write good notes to do good on the tests. He drops the worst graded quiz making it easy to get an A or B. Do NOT go on your phone while in his class because he will definitely call you out on it! Professor Frazee is a very smart man, kind of intimidating and definitely a strong personality, but overall a good Professor. His lectures are very helpful so make sure not to skip class. Homework is optional but should be done so you can pass. If you need help go to his office hours because thats where hes most inclined to help you.

Best lectures of any professor I've had, interesting and thorough. You will not only be able to do statistics, but be amazed by how it describes human behavior. Formulas are an afterthought. Also the strictest professor I've ever had. Class was graded on 4 or 5 tests, nothing else. No leeway for excuses or misunderstood directions

Frazee is a CHARACTER. He is by far my favorite professor ever, 10/10 recommend him for Into to Psyc. He is pretty cool & will like you as long as you put in work. He is pretty funny & is insanely smart. You could ask him anything and he will have an answer. The only things graded are test, besides that, he does not assign any other work really.

We had 4 exams throughout the semester, including the final, and no homework assignments or quizzes. Just 4 exams. Professor Frazee is really funny and lively during lectures, he explains concepts clearly and uses real-world examples to contextualize these concepts. He teased some students bc of their questions, but still answered and explained it.

Great lecturer, explains stats in simple terms, and cares about your success. But your grade is heavily based on exams and a few assignments, so prepare thoroughly (textbook and lecture attention required). Also, he's a bit arrogant, and very opinionated! During COVID-19 remote learning, he put in a lot of effort to teach. Has high expectations.

James Frazee is a good teacher. He can be tough but he cares a lot for his students. I was taking his class on campus then we got switched to online and he was very helpful and lenient due to the changes. He makes the materials easy to understand. He may come off as rude but he genuinely cares.

Professor Frazee is one of my favorite professors that I have ever taken. I had him for in person this semester and I was able to learn a lot more compared to what I learned in high school. Willing to help students understand the material and wants students to pass the class. Only grades on a few tests and doesn't make homework mandatory.

I've had Professor Frazee for 2 courses now, PSYCH 300 and PSYCH 330. He may seem unapproachable, but if you actually ask for help he's good and makes sure you understand it properly. The lectures are good, too. If you ask a really dumb question or aren't following along and ask where he is in the lecture, he will poke fun at you, but nothing big.

Professor Frazee is a really good, level-headed professor. Quizzes are based a lot on the textbook, so be prepared to read a lot. The grade is based solely on the quizzes and discussion, so be sure to study well and work hard for good grades. Does his best to help his students to achieve, especially through hard work and dedication.

He was pretty cool and helpful. Be present for the 6 IBM SPSS assignments, ask for help if you have questions. He lets us use the textbook and notes for quizzes and exams, so be sure to have those. It's an easy A if you have the time and put in the effort to understand the material. He also gives opportunities for extra credit, as well.

James Frazee can be tough, but he is a great professor. He expects you to be prepared and to read the class materials, which will be the key to success in any of his classes. If you show up and put in the work, you won't have any trouble in his class.

Dr. Frazee is one of those professors you either hate or love, for me it was love. He is an amazing stats professor and has YouTube videos of his lectures which are really helpful for studying. He might have some hot takes but overall he is hilarious and a great guy all around.

Very lecture-heavy with few assignments. 4 tests and 6 small in-class assignments. Missing class will damage your grade unless you make friends who can give you notes and tell you what you missed.

he's tough but good. he rants sometimes but i always found it interesting. there are only 10 assignments in the entire class made up of tests and then SPSS assignments done in excel. i got consistent C's on my tests and A's on my SPSS assignments and came out of it fine. thought it did worse than i actually did so don't worry too much.

Everyone who says he's mean or a bully is just sensitive. He's very open about his opinions, and it's literally HIS class, so he's gonna share them. he doesn't do this randomly; it's consistent with what we are learning. He "offends" the people who are all about not stepping on toes, which is incredibly unrealistic for the real world. Get a grip.

Grades are based off 4 exams and maybe a few assignments that are done in class. He is interested in building your confidence and knowledge as a student. Don't be intimidated. Go to all the lectures because he provides all the answers to the exam as long as you pay attention. He is there to help, so ask for it when needed.
