Terrible teacher, but a pretty easy class. If you don't like history than take Fujita but if you do than take someone else and hopefully you will learn something. He talks a lot that has nothing to do with history and his classes seem to be a big waste of time. Wish I would have taken someone else.

HIST281 was an easy A. There is no homework outside of three papers you have to write, which are spaced out throughout the semester. You barely have to show up to class, because you choose what topics to write about. However, I would recommend going, because he is passionate and entertaining. Not the best class if you want to learn a lot though.

He is a great professor. Although he often goes off-topic, he really cares about your grades and you understanding the content. He tries to connect to his students through stories so that it is easier to understand. As long as you pay attention because he really makes the class easy for you to pass and understand.

Never gives homework. Just show up to the lecture, take notes, and you're good. Very knowledgeable. He goes over all future projects on the first day of class, so you have plenty of time to do them or ask questions. Very funny, probably the most entertaining class I have, but zero group work. Good class if you like to keep to yourself.

Skip class? You won't pass.

Took online for him and his assignments are kind of all over the place. The syllabus isn't detailed enough for our assignments and he uploaded all his lectures and power points in the same place so I was just very very confused as to which one I am supposed to read since the titles are very similar. Not very good communication and unorganized.

Changed the syllabus three times so the quiz/lecture dates constantly changed. Uploads everything into one resource folder so it's all unorganized and jumbled. I didn't like the way he does his lectures. They're all in paragraph form and it's really hard to take notes from. Not to mention some of the lectures are 10 pages long.

Grade consisted of 4 quizzes, mid-term, final exam, book report, and final project. Professor Fujita's class is extremely easy. Basically reword the slides on his presentations during the quizzes and he'll give you 100%. He's very particular about details so this is the best way to make sure you meet all his criteria.

His course was easy to understand and was smooth throughout the semester. He gives clear feedback on what part of the essay I should have focused more on, and what I lacked. He would give out extra credit that isn't as time-consuming as others.

A lot of reading when it comes to History but he makes it interesting and summarizes it very well. His extra credit is super easy, and the gives clear feedback on what should I improve on.

Professor Fujita is very caring and wants you to do well. It is a lot of reading, but it pays off! He even has extended some due dates because some students need more time. I highly recommend taking this course if you need a history!

Professor Fujita's grades are mostly by the quizzes that are easy as long as you study the lectures. Once you get the 2 main projects out of the way, you can mostly read and focus on the quizzes that are coming up. He's quick to reply on his emails!

This is the only RMP review I ever did because Professor Fujita is amazing! I had him 3 times for 151, 152, and for 282WI and I enjoy his class every time. He is super lenient and understanding, he takes in late work at full credit and when it comes to writing essays he is not a tough grader. Highly recommend him!

No homework, just note-taking for four short identification quizzes. The quizzes were easy to pass, and the main grade components were a book review and a project on modern history. Start early and ask for feedback-- he provides helpful guidance on how to receive a full score. He's also QUICK to reply to emails, making the class stress-free.

Professor Fujita's class is a solid choice. The quizzes are manageable with some preparation, and he's responsive to student needs. For study support, I found Unstuckstudy and the free textbook really helpful alongside the lectures.

Mr. Fujita's class is very straightforward. He will provide information to read (old school here, I downloaded, print, read and made summary of them) 4 short quizzes (2 questions, answers should be in essay) 2 major exams (2 questions, essay-type, 500 words) Pay attention to "what is the significant connection/impact on History" (in his own words)

Prof. Fujita's History class is easy if you are committed in reading his slides. 4 short quizzes and 2 major exams all in essay types, 1 project and 1 book review that's about History before 1500 (do it soon as he opens the link to submit) Very clear grading and give feedbacks on what you missed to include in your essay quiz/exam.
