Practical class, mostly PowerPoint presentations and videos. Your grade consists of weekly true/false quizzes, and creating a lengthy business plan. Not a bad class for being required, no textbook either.
Easy A. You grade your own quizzes and there is no format for the business plan so everyone gets an A. No textbook. You have to come to class though and it can be extremely boring.
He is great. I would love to take him again. is easy.
He is wonderful. Gives out in class quezes, which are pretty easy. Love him, he is great. Also loved his elevator pitch speech.
Great Guy Drops Lowest grade all quizzes no final Easy if you want to learn he will teach you too. He says "Does not believe that school should be a pain" Requires a lot of in class discussion
This professor is great! I had him for MGMT 321 and he is a lovely professor....has alot of knowledge on what he's teaching and he's just an overall great person!
Very nice guy, easy quiz each week. Small projects and one big project due at the end of semester (Business Plan). Great course. Go to class regularly, pay attention, you'll be sure to get a high grade. Talk to him if you have an issue with your grade. Very reasonable guy.
Super easy class. If you want an A, take Georges. You look at powerpoints each class, do a few case studies, article presentation and take a easy quiz each week. It's really hard to get a bad grade. Easy Grader. "Learning should not be a pain."
Jim is an awesome teacher, come to class, pay attention, and you will do fine. Weekly quizes based on power points and a video, some projects we be due as well. We didn't use the text book.
Talks too much about himself, didn't learn much from him. Wasn't really helpful either. I missed class and he assigned HW. I emailed him and he said "do your best" refusing to answer my questions… Easy A but useless as a teacher.
Jim is the man. You must take him at least 2 or more times in order to get the full scope of his methods. Nuff said bub!!!!
Jim makes taking a class fun and interesting. He is very low key and into helping students learn about themselves and how to succeed. Uses a variety of DVDs, powerpoints and lots of handouts. Students have to research and prepare a presentation on a different (political, military, business, female, sports etc.)leader for almost every class.
Georges is a great guy. He really cares about the students. His class is very easy. Although it is easy, you still learn a lot of things. There are only weekly quizzes and articles. Great guy!
Assists students any way he can. Suffers no fools - tells people who can't see what is on the board to sit closer. Quiz on material after every chapter. Posts excellent materials on Angel to study. Reviews quizzes right after they are taken. Assignments to do elevator pitch, tweet, and Business Plan prepare you for the future .
Jim is the only professor with actual health care experience teaching HPA courses. He actually cares if you learn something and gives almost weekly quizzes as opposed to big midterms and finals. He prefers that you talk to him about your grade before or after class - does not hide behind the electronic grade book. Always gives you pointers.
Do yourself a favor and take Georges! He is a great guy.
MIS is a tough class at PSU, but do yourself a favor and get into his class as opposed to any other teacher. Easy to learn from. Register early because his classes fill up within minutes. Georges brings industry experience from government, law and military. Very down to earth. Doesn't hide behind his degrees or the podium. Lengthy boring book summarized by lengthy but thorough powerpoints. Cases in the book and slides and book in library on reserve if need it. Students do weekly presentations and quiz on each chapter. Is abut everything incluing grades Always willing to help. Asks what students think and want. Will write you letters of recommendation for internships, paying jobs and advanced schooling. Willing to do independent studies for students but very hard to get PSU to approve.
He is the man. Only someone with a personal problem with him would give him a bad review. If you don't like doing work, take other teachers but you drop or flunk. Class is full. Transparent grading (brings books and graded exams to class and you can go over it with him). Reviews quiz questions and answers right after you take it. Fair
I pitty the fool that takes another teacher for MIS. This is a tough class anyway no matter who you try it with - hard to do well if you skip class or don't read the materials. But its even harder with the other teachers who have not had real or current MIS experience don't take the time to explain the materials or taking it on line. Tries to help everyone. Will take again.
Had Georges last semester. Taking again for another class. He definitely cares about the students and wants them "to get their money's worth." He is always willing to work one on one with any student who is willing to work with him. Serves as a mentor and does independent studies for those with conflicts or immediate needs for graduation.
Had Georges for an Independent Study on Eldercare. No one else in the school knows anything about the subject - Georges teaches it in the adult education side too. Very knowledgeable on all healthcare matters. If you are interested in learning something, he is willing to mentor and teach. No one else would help me.
Georges did a great job last semester and I am taking him again. Made us do a complete business plan. If you follow his plan and do what he asks, you get a good grade. Also, Georges is willing to stick up for what is right and help you instead of telling you its not his job or to ignore you.
Had him last semester. Relates the lecture and text materials to his real-world examples. Students also have to prepare an article and presentation each week on subject matter. Do yourself a favor and if he is not teaching HPA and you want to learn something about HPA as opposed to a recycled course, demand an independent study or wait .
Had Georges last semester for another class. I like his values and methods, so took him again (so I thought). This semester, PSU switched him off teaching this class to another after we signed up. I got another professor and I am sorry I didn't drop right then. Georges is worth the wait. Accept no substitutes. PSU, pay him more.
Georges is the best. Is a lifelong student so he understands. Brings in real-world examples from the workplace. Teaches his class like that too. Material is hard but Georges explains it clearly. Provides powerpoint slides for basis of lectures and summary of what to study. He cares that you learn something that makes you marketable.
I actually think I am going to pass this class. Have taken it before with another teacher unsuccessfully. Jim is very clear on his criteria to succeed. Tells you the testsmaterial is tough but he is a fair grader. Exam questions and answers are reviewed in class immediately after the exam. He tries to make the class fun.
Jim is worth the wait. PSU tried to switch who was teaching the class after we signed up. Never heard of the teacher they were trying to plug in there. Good thing they switched Jim back - the alternatives would have been gruesome. Jim actually cares about the students learning and getting their money's worth. Taking Jim for MGMT 301 next.
Georges shows why he is the one to take if you want to learn something about business. Shows you the way to start a company that earns money or if you need to get a nice safe job with a steady paycheck. Doing the Business Plan is tough because he makes you find your own way through the workbook and makes you motivate yourself to stay on track.
Georges showed why you should wait for a spot in his class (why eat pink slime when you can have fillet). He takes a tough class and breaks it down so you can understand and take away the valuable parts. PSU has other non-business teachers trying to teach business courses. Jim is always willing to work with students to overcome obstacles.
Jim's lectures are long but the material is comprehensive and complex. Listen to his examples because they help make sense. His article assignments make you learn current concepts and help your grade if you turn them in on time. I like the powerpoint format. PSU needs to let him teach more sections as it is hard to get a seat in his class.
Jim is the fairest, kindest teacher I have met. He actually takes his time to help students, even if it doesn't relate to his class, when the front office, your advisor or everyone else whose job it is do not. I hope I can take him again for some of my other classes. Teaches clearly, uses examples from his experience, and lets students shine.
Definitely not a helicopter professor. Makes you learn how to learn. Spells out the criteria in advance. Works with students' learning styles and schedules. Always willing to jump in and help when you have a real problem - school-related or not. Cares about doing things right and doing the right thing. Shares his wealth of knowledge.
Jim is a great guy and an all around great instructor. Come to class, put some effort into your business plan , and study the Powerpoint presentations as well as the videos and you will achieve an A. Not looking to trick you and is always willing to help.
Georges' class is easy if you study. He is clearly the most compassionate and caring professor I have seen at Penn State. Also, he is a quiet professional, doing his work as a teacher. There is no other teacher here that has the business and management experience that Professor Georges brings to class. Accept no substitutes for 301.
Prof. Georges is one of the few teachers that actually makes sure that you get your money's worth. Classes are fun, students provide a lot of input. Time goes by fast and there are lots of little projects and quizzes. This is the first time a teacher actually made me think about doing a whole business plan. Pay him more.
Georges knows his stuff - gives great examples. Willing to answer all questions and explain until everyone gets the point made. Knows how to make education fun. Reviews answers to exams in class after you take it. Flexible teaching styles to match those of students.
First and foremost, Jim is an educational leader. He takes the time to work with students individually. He wants each student to take away the maximum information possible. Learned the most from preparing and conducting presentations on leaders I chose. Love his teaching style. No such thing as a dumb question. Helps students.
Great teacher. Great class. Great summer course. Teacher very knowledgeable. Jim cares that you learn.
Amazing teacher and experience. This is not my usual campus but we have no one like him where we are at. Makes you do a business plan soup to nuts. Lets you find your own way but will help you if you are totally lost. Glad I invested the time.
Easy class if you follow Prof. Georges' instructionsmethod. Teaches from real life experience - not some long out of work old guy or fresh out of PHD know-it-all with no experience. Has prepared lecture slides and notes. Uses Angel but doesn't hide behind it - has prepared lectures and slides. Allows group decisions and assignment formats
Treats you like an adult - shows you how to learn. Great PowerPoints, lectures and notes. Teaches you what you need to know. Lots of great examples. Shows you how to succeed in business. Always wants to talk to you about how to improve or maintain your grade. Clear standards. Would take another class with Jim.
Take anything he teaches if you actually want a return on your investment. Teaches you how to start a business. Makes you do a business plan. If you don't want to learn anything, take any one of the other suspects masquerading as a professor. Georges actually enjoys teaching and helping students solve problems. Always ready to advise.
Pleasant Summer term course. Georges is an excellent instructor. Slides outline the key materials he wants you to know. Book available on the internet for about $7.00. Brings his real world management experience from government, military, law enforcement, education, and healthcare into the classroom. Will take again.
Georges works hard to make the class fun. Lets you make up missed quizzes and drops the lowest for everyone. Anyone can have a bad day he says. He is better than any advisor the school can assign you - he takes the time to analyze your situation as opposed to just telling you anything to get rid of you.
Georges delivers in this political science/sociology course. His explanation of the Constitution was unbelievable. He doesn't talk down to anyone and wants to help you get an A. Always willing to help on everything from legal matters, getting an internship, job hunting, graduate school. Wish he would teach more classes so I could take them.
Prof. G is the man. He empathizes with students. He is very helpful to a fault and I do not know how he doesn't just flip out on some people. It is easy to approach him and he actually spends the time to understand and think about your problem instead of telling you its not his job. Not sure why he even teaches here - just likes students.
Don't make the mistake of taking someone else. Georges knows his stuff and actually cares if you learn and get ahead.
Learning more this semester about business than the rest of my time here. Georges makes you do a whole business plan. Actually demands that you turn in early drafts so progress can be charted. Shows videos and quizzes every chapter as completed. Drafted my first tweet. They should let him teach other classes. Cares about the students.
Has to be one of the top professors in this place. Prof. Georges makes this tough class easy. Not just an outdated PHD whose life has been spent going to school. Has vast experience and gives examples which help tie MIS to other classes where teachers don't even bother to try to help students. Last class this week. Georges rocks.
Better learn how to learn - dedicated to lifelong learning. Points you to the answer but will not do it for you. Respects all views. Treats students with dignity and respect. Challenges all students to work hard. Wants everyone to grow and learn. Business plan assignment is a hard individual challenge, but I learned a lot.
In this special topics/healthcare management class, Georges actually teaches about healthcare management as opposed to trying to palm off finance or some other types of irrelevant specialties. Uses comprehensive examples from all perspectives. Reviews weekly quizzes right after given so you always know where you stand and the correct answer.
Take anything he teaches because he cares. This class was fun and I learned a few things. Weekly quizzes.
Lots of work, videos to watch, quiz on every chapter. Have to write a business plan and prepare a presentation. He is a very fair grader - people try to take advantage but he holds the line. His classes are always full so come early to get a good seat.
Tough class but it is worth the wait to get him. His class fills up in 2 minutes after registration opens. Is very fair and willing to help students learn the materials to get good grades. Actually has worked and continues to work in the field himself so brings the text materials to life. Very practical and willing to listen.
Knows his stuff and makes it so he actually teaches you about business. If you want to be in charge of anything or to ever have your own business, better take Jim.
Need more professors like Georges. Gives students his cell phone number and actually talks to you or calls back when you have a problem. Only teacher who did not give an assignment to do over spring break: "decompress and come back and hit it hard he says." Actually learn about business in his class. Projects are actually fun to do.
Take Georges or you will not learn anything about business here.
Hard class - fair teacher. Knows his students to a fault. Will meet you half way if you try. I hate computers but I liked his class. Knows his material and gives great examples. Nothing phases him. Always in control. Unwise to try the slip and slide on him as he sees through the scams in a heartbeat. Will take again if I can.
Quiz every week instead of cumulative exams. Questions out of the materials he presents/teaches. Repetition of skills until you get It. You can make-up three missed quizzes no questions asked and he drops your lowest. Presentations are long but the book chapters are longer. No extra credit but no one is more fair. Will take again.
Only teacher I had here that asks you to tell him at the end of the semester how you would improve the class for the next time he teaches it. Treats students with a lot of respect. Willing to share his experience which is more than a lot of the others that have been here 30 years. Already took all classes he teaches. PSU let him teach more.
Wants to help you succeed. Willing to help you even when you mess up. Not your typical professor or administrative bureaucrat. Like he says, choose wisely - why have hamburger helper when you can have fillet. Teaches you how to have it all, not how to settle for less.
He did save my semester. No one is more caring about the students. Most knowledgeable professor in this place, most educated, most experienced. Very patient in the class - will not move on until everyone who wants to gets what he is talking about. Not "soft on crime." Believes that it is his job to make sure you get what you need to know.
Best professor of all time. He can help you do anything.
"So write me up if I give you too much work." Its hard to get a bad grade if you follow his plan. Sometimes he makes you take the harder, less travelled road, but like he says "there usually isn't an ambush on an azimuth."
Nicest and hardest working teacher you will ever meet. Will help you no matter what. Knows business and management. Dude is larger than life. Rumor is they wouldn't let him teach in criminal justice so he went back to work for the real criminal justice system for 5 gazillion dollars. His theory is what are you going to do about it.
"Don't bring your week sauce." Clearly the nicest and most caring prof in this place. Helps you accomplish pretty much anything you want to do. Willing to give you multiple chances to succeed.
Can't find anyone better to help you when you are in a jam, whether its here or in the outside. Shows no fear in cutting through the pompous bureaucratic nonsense. Is "the Doctor of Business Doctrine" but he is Baby Doc to his friends.
Jim is all in. Very high energy - makes the Energizer Rabbit look lazy. He is the best, can't wait to take him again next year. Every once in a long while you meet someone who changes your outlook on things. Pay attention, do your work, study and get an A. Need more like Jim and get rid of the posers around here,
Easy A if you study and follow the plan. Most caring guy there is. Knows about everything. He is teaching about business but it is really about learning about how not to be afraid to follow your dreams and be successful, however you define it. Never know what he will say and you have to pay attention to figure out what he says/
Study leaders in different environments. Shows you what is important in whatever choices you make. Study a different leader for each class. Have a presentation due in every class. Can't help but learn. If you listen close, he is very funny. Not afraid of technology. Should make the administration take his classes.
Georges is my advisor because I can never find the one the school has assigned to me. He actually takes the time to research problems and find solutions as opposed to just winging it. Makes you do presentations every class. Cares about giving you your money's worth. Hard to figure out everything he has done in life - knows his stuff.
Pull your socks up and get ready to work. Tells people o their face that if they act like a slug and do nothing, they get treated like one - he will pour salt on you and then listen to you his. Sets clear standards and expectations and then holds you to them. Otherwise, is a teddy bear. Will never refuse to help you. Respects students.
Business plan project is tough. You are on your own and have to do it all. Learned a lot. Quiz every week. Drops the lowest. Willing to work with me one on one.
First string player. Best summer course ever.
Clearly likes to teach and do the heavy lifting. Best lecture is when he talks about employment, discrimination, airlines, SEPTA police and Hooters. Lectures are packed with information. Provides powerpoint slides and video shorts on Angel. Everything is well organized. Expects students to be the same.
Never knew this existed. Jim was an instructor in our Licensing Course taught out of continuing education. Was not hard to listen to even in the Friday night time slot. Taught me what I needed to know to pass the State exam in his areas of expertise and most of the other teachers' areas too. Brought in a guest speaker from a bank too.
Is as advertised. Work hard, do as he says - no problem. This is a hard class. But, like Jim says, there usually isn't an ambush on an azimuth. Extra credit project based on The Circle book.
Worth the wait. Is real. Don't make the mistake of taking someone else. Manages people in real life; doesn't just talk about what he thinks as if he has been in school all his life and then working at teaching in school. Uses management examples from business, government, military and school. "College is a large bureaucracy."
He is amazing!!! This course had one big assignment, and quiz before every class. No final. This class is not very demanding. He is knowledgeable about the subject. Has a lot of experience. Doesn't keep you very late in class. He is very trusting, and genuinely cares about his students & wants to help. TAKE HIM- you won't regret it! He's the man!
JIM is the diamond in the ruff that is Penn State Abington. I'm here to give him credit where he deserves it. I couldn't of taken a more professional and dedicated professor than him. Keep up the great work Jim I know you read these!
Good dude. His Saturday class fills up fast but "lots of good parking spots available." No other teacher knows this stuff like Jim does here at PSU. Grades still due but I think I did pretty good on weekly quizzes and article assignments. I do most of what he teaches at work but never understood why until this class. Best advisor ever.
Jim is a wonderful prof. weekly quizzes (T/F) are simple and based on chapters read (all answers in power-points) Offers extra credit in the beg. of course (extra credit book free). Overall great man and very helpful, always you to make up quizzes. He wants to see you succeed. Totally Recommend him! PS: Saturday Class was great!
The class itself is not easy, but taking it with Georges is the best option you have. A great Professor and cares for his students.
Georges wants you to do well and helps you in every way he can. I dreaded having to take an alternative teacher and was considering trying to take it outside PSU when his Saturday class opened up. Quizzes T or F. Hard but fair - not a free ride. School is a ghost town on Saturday "All food groups available in the snack machines."
Exceptional teacher in an average place. Looks out for students.
Made us do different leaders every class. Awesome movies and documentaries. Good dude. Fair grader. Walks the walk.
Good teacher. Wealth of knowledge for this starter business survey course. Not like the other teachers - cares if you succeed. Great examples make me remember. Willing to work with you. Pretty funny but you learn things. I can see why his classes fill up.
Professor Georges is a phenomenal teacher who truly cares about his students. His lectures are full of examples that make the material fascinating and easy to understand. He is definitely approachable if you ever have an issue, and will work with his students to make sure they have what they need. I would highly recommend taking this class
Easy A, easy to understand, no tests, very little homework, weekly super easy quizzes, no final or midterm
This guy is a Straight Up Legend. He has such a great understanding of students and what we need to learn the material as well as what we need to stay engaged. He always provides interesting input on the topics that we learn about and he wants everyone to get a good grade. Weekly powerpoints of your choice. I hope you can take him
T/F quiz and presentations every week. Genuinely cares about learning and a big advocate on continuous learning. Teaches other BA and MGMT courses, take as many as you can!
Best first year teacher there is. Not sure where the other goosanos came from. Quiz every week, develop a presentation a week on any topic in the chapter. Flexible like gumby but keeps it real and on track. Wish I could take him for more classes.
I've had Georges for three courses and I don't regret taking him. He is hands down the best professor at psuab. "Exceptional teacher in an average place" he's knowledgeable, wants his students to succeed, funny and his lectures are always good. Would do anything he could to help a student. He's the man!
a weekly quiz consisting of 20 T/F questions, and a weekly powerpoint. He wants all of his students to succeed. He keeps his lectures fresh. He has a real knowledge of what he's teaching. He would do anything to help a student out. He's flexible and hands down probably the best professor at psuab.
Not sure why I didn't take another class he taught earlier. My last semester. What you see is what you get. 20 Q T or F Quizzes weekly and prepare Powerpoint weekly on relevant topic to present if called on. Very knowledgeable. Give Jim a bigger room b/c every seat is full. Jim rocks.
Makes a hard class easy by focusing on real-world examples. Also incorporates examples from other countries. Twenty question quiz almost every week. Powerpoint due every week. Willing to help students when assigned Advisors are invisible and of no help.
Had Georges for class in the Fall. Most caring guy there is here. Get him to help you with your degree audit and getting classes you need to graduate. Actually takes the time to look at your audit. When your assigned advisor can't read, won't or can't help, Georges jumps in and offers to do something. Ab then gets involved.
Agreed. Not my assigned advisor who teaches in a totally different subject matter area than me and has no clue. Got to know where to find Georges but if you talk to him, he will help you get what you want. Georges saved me when my advisor had no clue. Funny teacher too.
Super easy going teacher, really wants his students to learn the info. He relates his lectures to real life situations and it makes sense. There's quizzes in the beginning of every class, 20 T/F questions. Also there's presentation outlines due every week but thats pretty much it. Would definitely take him again.
Not only a great professor, but also a great life guide. Inspiring human being, have a lot of degrees lol.
Definetly one of the best professors at Penn State Abington by far. I had Jim for both BA321 and MGMT/331 this semester and he's great. In both classes we had weekly quizzes to complete which are not the easiest in the world, but he helps everyone out when he can, just talk to him. Jim is a gem, we love him. I wish Jim thought more classes at PSUA
I respect this man a lot for many reasons. I always recommend to my friends this professor... just attend class, take your quizzes and you will pass with flying colors.
I've had Professor Jim pleantly of times here at Abington and passed! Turn in your articles and study for your exams and you will be fine! If his class is open, join ASAP!
Rock star of Summer teachers. Shows you how to lead and manage. Fun class. Lots of documentaries and films. Do a presentation a week. 20 Question T & F quizzes. Makes mid-course adjustments to improve grades. Helps everyone.
Professor Jim is a great teacher to take any time you want to learn the Business craft, have fun learning leadership, or get a decent grade. He loves students. You have to put together a presentation a week and take a 20 Q T & F quiz every week. There actually are 20 students in his class in the Summer as opposed to 2 or 3 for the others.
High quality. Gives all the materials you need instead of making you buy a book. Actually uses the materials he provides. Sincerely cares.
One of the best professors I've ever had. Just study the slides in Canvas for the quizzes every week and you'll pass. Quizzes are easy as they are more about learning how to read questions carefully then actually knowing 100% of the material. I would have him every semester if I could!
Took this class as a HPA 332 class, but it came up as MGMT397 special topics. This teacher is one of the best, just come to class and you'll pass. Do the homework, and you'll pass. Highly recommend.
Delta Force of teachers. Unstoppable. Relentless. Loves all students. Hilarious if you listen closely in class. Quizzes are sometimes difficult. Works with everyone to help them succeed. Wish I could take him every semester. Come to class, study what he tells you, turn in assignments on time, get a good grade. Repeat.
One of the best professional teacher at penn state.
Clearly the nicest, smartest, most experienced teacher here. Cares if you do well in class and if you succeed in life. Hard but fair grader. Best teacher I had this semester. Quiz and project due every week but no cumulative exams. Wish I could take him for every class. Pay Jim more PSU.
Easygoing. Can tell he enjoys teaching. Come to class and do as he says for a good grade and a good learning experience. He brings the materials to life with his experience. Will do anything to help a student in trouble.
Best teacher here at PSU. Take someone else for what he teaches and you will be sorry. Helps you solve problems when the front office, your adviser, or other teachers don't bother to listen. Wish I could take him again but I have taken everything he teaches.
Best class all semester.
The best. Get him as your wing-man and he helps you for life. Class was well organize, was up front about the work that needed to be done.
Show up to do True/ False quiz and you pass.
Great class
Great teacher. Subject matter is kinda bland.
George is a nice guy but sometimes he plans quizzed in the last second. He does care about your grade.
East rider. Georges runs a good class. Everything as on syllabus. You know what is going to happen every day. Quizzes on schedule and announced. Homework deadlines listed at beginning of semester. Come to class, study the materials, turn in your assignments, get an A.
This is probably one of the easiest classes you will ever take. You're graded on weekly quizzes and presentations (you won't even have to present!). The quizzes are based off his class lectures and they are all T/F. If you miss a quiz or feel you are not ready he allows you to take it at a later date and he will drop 1-2 of your worst scores.
Great teacher. Would take again. Just one quiz each week.
Too cool for this school. Works everywhere. Helps everyone. Don't mess with his Plan for your success.
One of the few teachers here who is in business and knows what he is talking about. He has so many real examples that make it bearable to sit in class at night. The business plan assignment is hard but once you know how to analyze, you have the keys.
Sign up early to avoid having to wait another semester. George's is everything that is advertised so far. He is a nice man with lots of experience to share. He wants everyone to be successful. Wish the rest of the teachers are were like him and that he would teach more subjects.
Had him for the fall semester at PSU Abington. One of the best professors since i have started college. He makes lectures interesting by adding personal stories and past experiences. He is a very well educated guy and the lectures reflect so. Pay attention in the class, study the material and you have a chance to score an A.
Great guy, easy class, very very nice. Just a weekly quiz which is so easy. I used to read the powerpoint slides 30 minutes before the quiz and get an A
One of the greatest business professors. I've taken him for multiple classes. His lectures are very insightful and never boring. There's a T/F quiz (not to difficult) every class so attendance matters. And some light work allocated during the semester.
Cares about students and their success. Teaches COVID mixed mode but students can connect to class from wherever they want. Special topic is healthcare management. Variety of assignments. Case studies mimic work. Power point presentations turned in every week. No cumulative midterm or final. Possesses healthcare experience.
Big project is a business plan. Taught some of the younger teachers here. Only cares that you do the work and get your money's worth. "School should be fun." Does not get wrapped around the hype. Will work with you no matter what happens. Just an all around nice person. Tons of experience - his lectures are always interesting.
By far one of the easiest classes to pass with him as your professor. Homework is minimal and the same every single weekend, so it becomes extremely easy to throw together. No quizzes. No tests. No finals. Lectures are long and boring, but he does care about teaching and is a great guy. Showed up to maybe 10 classes overall & still passed with an A
Prof Georges is a great professor who really cares about the course and students taking it. He provides real life examples of the content making it easier to understand and his classes are straightforward.
