HE is one of the best teacher's in the school. Very easy to get along with and also very helpful towards his students.

He is a good professor. Some students may not agree, but once he sees you are doing your'e assignments,passing your exams and coming to class, you should come out of there with an easy B+ or an A.

Nice guy. Profesionally dressed. Very calm, very patient. Extremely laid back as far as assignments go. Not really the exciting type, but he gets the job done. The class itself was as dull as any of the other AMM 200 level courses.

First, make a point of calling him using the correct prefix 'Dr. Giordano' (he notes respect). His class was marketing class was cool. I learn alot as I was forced to push myself to study (he doesn't spoon feed). He doesn't give out many assignments and start studying based on the syllabus also be as creative as possible w/ the project he gives.

i love this Professors if you do what you need to do for the class you can pass it with at least an c the final project is fun and he is really nice everyone in my class had a good time many of they are taking him again for other Business classes

This is an easy class if you attend class, read the textbook and do the few simple assignments. The prof mostly uses powerpoint and text book to teach his class. If students don't ask questions he will go ahead with the lessons. However even though you may not pay attention during his class cause it can get boring as long as you read the textbook y

Very easy teacher. Complete all assignments, and you dont really need to study that hard for the test. He gives you all the info you need to succeed. A + Teacher! Please make sure u address him as Doctor Giordano, he is not a Professor so respect it!

he is really good in teaching and explaining, he prepares you well for exam and will give you extra credit assisgment just to help you pass the class. he is willing to help and very understandable. i had him in intro to business and marketing. he always jokes around and help you enjoy the time in class.

The coolest Doctor(professor) ever. Understandable, gives easy exams. However, must refer to him as Doctor Giordano, not professor. You will love his class. Grades fairly and his class is very interesting. Take him, the best.

His assingments and tests are not hard and u could easy get a good grade. However, sometimes he could be very disorganized: on the day of our test he came 45min late (for the 1h class) and lowered grade to everybody who left class after 30 min waiting for him. I think this is not fair:(

Giordano class was boring but fun, he asks students about their opinion, never judges and gives students breaks. Very understanding professor even if you failed some exams he will try to help you get a better grade. Great professor!

This class was the easiest class I took. 2 exams. Never had time to read the book. We reached only to chapter 5. We were out putting what we learned into practice. The final was our journals of events we attended. Seems like an easy A, but he grades in a weird way. Most of my grades are B+. He is very unorganized and forgets what he gives as H.W.

There were only 2 exams, a midterm, which was 6 chapters, and a final comprised of 8 chapters. Also, there was a field trip to a hotel and 2 essays were assigned. Prof. Giordano was generous with giving opportunities for extra credit. Just participate, and memorize the material for exams, and you will do fine.

During the short semester only two exams: Multiple choice, True/False questions and short answer essays. A field trip to a business hotel was mandatory, and the class had to write two short essays regarding the field trip. You can easily get an A, by writing professionally, memorizing the material for exams, as well as class participation.

This was a Hybrid course, which met only 1 hour per week, and one - two pages of writing assigments were given every other week. Overall this course was easy. You will be involved with working a couple of events. You must write well, and in your own words with no plagiarism, and you must utilize Meeting & Event Planning language for your reports.

Took this easy course during Spring 2nd semester. Learned about front office mgmt techniques by visiting various hotels. One midterm with T/F and Multiple Choice questions, and a lot of writing assignments.

This professor teaches by reading directly from slides that are created for the textbook. You could stay home reading the same slides & learn the same thing. Even though most of his classes are easy i would NOT recommend him. His feedback on work is not considered constructive criticism just rude. Avoid taking him.

Dr, Giordano has a natural flair for motivating and inspiring students like myself to excel in the Travel, Tourism and Hospitality industry. It was a privilege and honor to intern for him.

You will need the textbooks for most classes, his classes are pretty easy with just reading and writing. Pay attention and you will get an A. The classes are a bore and are pretty dull, made me want to sleep.

It's an easy A if you memorize the notes he will give you prior to taking his exams and two out of three exams are multiple choice, True/False and a short essay. The final was a take home exam, five essay topics. Also, there is very little homework and a travel writing assignment.

Doctor Giordano is the best professor at LaGuardia college. He is very knowledgeable about Tourism and Hospitality field and also his lectures are hilarious. He is trying his best to involve students in converstions and gives tons of opportunities for extra credit. He is truly one of a kind, I will miss having him as my professor.

I had this professor 4 times.I chose his class because it is very easy. I had harder classes so I chose his class to balance it off. Participate, do the work & you will do great. This class is a piece of cake. The exams he gives you a lot of hints,he literally gives you the pages. BUT He is boring, he reads off his powerpoints. I fell asleep a lot

An amazing Marketing professor. He is kind and understanding, would move deadlines around to give everyone a chance to complete assignments. At first his class might seen challenging however he simplified it , in the end you will be able to write a professional marketing plan.

Professor Dr. James Giordano is a nice professor. I never witnessed him to judge any of the students of their works. He gives you lots of work but in the end you get a good grade definitely.

This professor is boring to me, I took him 5 times because I had tough classes. You really do get to learn because when it comes to presentations (which he loves) he asks questions just to see if you understand what you are talking about. If you feel doubtful about anything just talk to him. Build a great relationship with him because he's helpful.

I took Professor Giordano for BTT 212, BTT 223 and BTT 101. He is an amazing professor and very nice. The lessons he taught was amazing and kept me engaged. He is very nice and I wish he taught all of my hospitality classes. He didn't give a lot of homework and helped me develop a lot of skills like public speaking. He is wonderful.
