he is a very good teacher and a very friendly person. i wouldn't have been happy with any other professor. he makes things very easy on students, and he has a great personality.

You just can't get much better than this. I've taken him for two semesters and will sign up for him again if possible.

tests are no longer multiple-guess. but he will give practice tests that are close to the same thing as the actual test. things in class are hurried through but if you ask him a question he will slowdown and answer it.Willing to his time for extra studyin

pretty easy but very fast especially in the summer,so i would not encourage anyone to take him for the summer class if you are not that good with math.

Wonderful class. What you learn in class is what you will see on the test. Do your homeowrk and get extra credit on the test. Wonderful teacher and person. HIGHLEY RECOMMENDED!

I will not say his class is easy. He teaches pretty fast, and I had to get some outside help with some stuff, but other than that... he has a great personality and cares about what the class thinks as a whole. He is always FAIR, a big plus.

Mr. Hall is a great prof and is extremely fair. He gives you all the chance in the world to make an A and he's great at teaching.

i remember thinking great not another math class..but wow mr. hall is the best math teacher..he understands and his test are the best..there is now way person should make lower than a C on any of his test...hes such a sweet guy. if maths not ur subject then take him for sure...

I think that Mr.Hall is a great teacher I had him in high school and he helps you when you don't understand. If you more of a visial person than you will like this class, he goes over everything

Ask him for help if you need it. He is very willing to help you. This course is very hard for me, because it is not a "concrete" math. He is a good teacher. Just do your work, stay focused and ask for help.

Super nice, funny, patient. He gives you the opportunity to help your grade with extra credit tid-bits, if your willing to put out the effort to do the work. Difficulty of his tests range from fairly easy to fairly hard. He will end up being one of the better math teachers you will have throughout your college days. I highly recommend him.

Mr.HAll is so awesome. I highly recommend this math teacher. He helps you in every way possible, and makes math fun. However he has bad jokes. His tests range from easy to hard.

Mr. Hall is such a great teacher. He is very helpful. However, his quizzes are harder than the tests are. He drops the lowest quiz grade and if you do good on the final then he will replace your lowest test grade with the final grade. You should definitely take his class if you can!!

Mr.Hall is one of the best teacher I come across, while at GPC. His teaching style is great, since he unique ways to solve certain things. He made learning math very interesting. He is very caring, and helps students who are struggling get better at math. Overall, I highly recommend taking this, because if you don't you'll regret it.

Jim is a very laid back teacher and is genuinly concerned for his students. He will go to any lengths to help you succeed. Homework is not mandatory, but is Extra Credit! all tests are multiple choice and gives great review study tests to take home a week before each test! 4 test total and an easy final. Just study the review he gives you and you'll make an A. Take this class!

Mr. Hall is a great professor, very easy and laidback. However, I was disappointed that we didn't get to the last three chapters of the course, which I know I will suffer for in the remainder of my college career as those were the most important chapters.

Mr. Hall is an awesome teacher! He teaches from powerpoints, gives open note quizzes, and his tests are rather easy. He gives extra points on tests if you do the homework problems. He is willing to help with any questions. He teaches from powerpoints. There is also a project at the end of the semester, just a powerpoint presentation.

Hall's teaching is not all that good, but his quiz and test are very easy even if you don't understand what his teaching. All you have to do is attend class and study every pratice quiz or exam, you can't fail.

His class was ok!!! I would still recommend him though because he is a great teacher!!! What is hould ahve done was work harder but I did not!! His quizzes are take home and fairly hard but still it is a take home!!! His tests were ok and he is very helpful!!!

definately recommend this class..homework is extra credit, all quizzes are open book, tests are not that bad, and one very easy powerpoint project for his stat class...i made an A and i never stressed about this class throughout the semester

Great Professor, completely straight forward with all assignments,funny which makes class more interesting. Quizzes are open notes and tests are a lot like quizzes as far as format. I would highly recommend!!

Precal is some hard math, but if you try in his class, you will get a passing grade. He will make it as easy as he can for the class at times. I passed with a B.

Mr. Hall was great! He's a nice guy but you can tell that he's even nicer to the preppy girls! That didn't stop me from getting an A. His quizzes are take-home or open-note and his tests are the same as the study guides, just different numbers. On test days, he gives extra credit for HW. He'll take time to explain the material. Mr. Hall is an ok teacher he is pretty laid back and his interaction with you depends on who and what you are( blond white chick) but who can blame him he is older and needs a fantasy. This is the 4th time I've had him. He's great! This class is a little different from his others. If you try, you will pass and he will help you if you need it. He will do what he can to help his students pass.

Mr Hall is very understanding and sympathetic. Stay on top of the instruction and do your homework and even if you bomb tests, you should be able to pass. He will assist you as much as possible and has very reasonable expectations. We even did open book and take home tests. If you struggle with math, he is one of the best teachers out there

It is very easy to pass his class. I go an "A". He is always there when you need him and he does open book quiz and gives easy tests. If you want an easy "A", then take Mr. Hall. By the way I am writing this a little late. I took him last semester.

Great Professor. I took him for three different math classes. Even if you fail a test and pass the quizzes & do the homework you can still get an A in the class. Math can be difficult but He like to see his students do well, so he will help you if you need it. Some take home quizzes & test & maybe a open book quiz. Must take his class u will enjoy!

As long as you do your homework and respond to the postings each week I think this class will be ok. Mr. Hall is willing to help only if you ask.

I didn't particularly like Algebra prior to taking this class. He's a great teacher. Do assigned homework get 5 points added to your test grade. He sets you up for success.

Mr. Hall is a GREAT teacher. I never used the book the whole semester and passed with a B.He explins all problems and gives the easiest way to solve them. He shows how all the probs will be expressed & the different ways problems will be worded, so nothing is tricky.test and quizzes are easy if you have taken the notes.I WILL TAKE HIM NEXT SEMESTER

This class is good to take online if you have a busy schedule. I got really behind and still had time to catch up before the semester ended. I dont like math of any kind but the homework provided lots of help and so does Mr Hall when you ask for it.

I took this Hall's class online. It was pretty easy except you have to take the final in person.. at the Clarkston campus. Take him if you are willing to keep up with the work.

I took this class online and it was fairly easy. If you do the work and the assignments you will pass the class. There is a final exam at the end of the semester that you go on campus to take. Mr. Hall is very helpful and prompt with response.

The first day of class I was nervous because the syllabus looked very imposing. He encouraged me to stay and worke with me when I was stuck. Icommend his teaching style and his ability to find many ways to approach the problen to find the solution. I recommend attending class, doing homework, asking questions:)...you will do well and learn alot.

I took this class online its alot of work the math problems can be really long, but he will help if you ask him I made a B but I worked extremely hard to earn that.The work is not that hard but it just takes alot of time.

Took him online for Satistics- Fair teacher- Independent Learner (teach yourself everything)Once you learn how to work using calculator-be fine. Would recommend him!***Best teacher for online is still Jo Thomas

I would not recommend taking this class online, especially during the summer. There are close to 50 problems on most 80% of the homework assignments. Very time consuming if you are taking a load of other classes, working or just simply have a life other than math.
