Mr. Harman is an AWESOME professor. He genuinely enjoys teaching the subject material, actually cares about his students, and makes lab and lecture enjoyable. I would definitely recommend choosing this professor. However, this class requires a fair amount of studying but nevertheless, I would certainly take again.

I am so sad this class is over! I absolutely loved it. The lab tests are harder than the lecture but challenges are fun. He LOVES questions. Ask a lot of them. There was a lot of material to be covered-a lot of reading to be done. But he will make it fun. Maybe it's just me, but he really sounds like a cowboy! He's a teacher who wants to be there.

Dr. Harman is one of a kind! Not many professors like him are out there. He is passionate and VERY knowledgeable about what he does which makes lecture and lab enjoyable. He works to help you in whatever way he can and is easily accessible through email and in class. His lecture and lab tests are just like the reviews, so do them.

This Professor is AWESOME! Dr. Harmon is by far the best professor I have had my entire college education (and I've been in college since 1999 with three degrees, so that's saying a lot!) He is very honest and if he doesn't know something, he does the research and finds the answers. He made learning truly enjoyable. I'm actualy sad it's over.

Professor Harman is by far one of the best professors I have ever taken. If you take the time to talk to him after class, he will very clearly lay out his expectations for you and how to succeed. His tests are not easy whatsoever, but if you study the material required and ask for feedback and ACTUALLY put in effort you will succeed.

He is a very easy going professor. He isnt picky when grading and will most likely give you partial credit before giving you no credit! His lectures are really disorganized and not detailed. However, you have a lot of resources that will help you. His test quizzes and worksheets are super easy. There is no reason why you would get below a A

I think the last student must be talking specifically about the lab portion of the class (which is designed and controlled by the Department) and not a good reflection of his lectures, which don't have partial credit, quizzes, or worksheets. Regardless, I think his lectures are organized, very clear, and a huge help with this difficult material.

TAKE HIM YOU WONT REGRET IT! He teaches so clearly & only tests over things he says in class. If you do the work you will get great grades, he is always in touch with students & is clear on what he is grading on. Yes, the topics are hard but he genuinely cares that all the students understand everything! Loved this class & sad he doesn't teach AP2!

Harman is fantastic at gradually ramping up the difficultyof each topic until you get the whole picture. Listen carefully, take good notes, and understand the images that he spends time on; I never used the textbook once and aced every test by doing that. When classes went online, he did a really good job teaching and accommodating the class.

Such a great teacher! When teaching complex concepts, he spent his time explaining it and drawing it out on whiteboard to make sure the concept was grasped. Summer class is no small feat, but he makes it more achievable. Take good notes during his lectures, ask questions, and study hard, it's completely doable to pass this class with a good grade!

very understanding should you have any technical issues, explains the course material clearly, prompt response to email. He will never abandon you. He gives reviews, pay attention to any thing underlined or bold in the PDF notes, do all lab assignments its easy. He also has online audio lectures so u don't need the text book. Very organized .

As everyone knows A&P is going to be a hard class no matter who you take. Its a class that you have read and study everyday. But Prof. Harman is amazing! I dreaded taking this class but I couldn't have asked for a better professor. Yes this class can be scary but Prof. Harman made me feel like I could do it.

While A&P is difficult, Dr. Harman really couldn't do a better job of making lectures enjoyable, providing you with all the material you need to pass the course and responding to emails. Getting a good grade in the class will be completely up to you. Beware, his syllabus says there may be opportunities for extra credit but he is NOT fond of it.

You definitely have to create time to read if you want to pass this class! Prof Harman gave us ALL the materials we needed for this class. His lectures can be long and boring at times but his lecture slides were straight on point and tbh his exams are fair. He gave us so many opportunities to boost our grade and yes, we had at least 3 extra credits

Professor Harman is probably one of the best teachers I have had. He is very involved and helpful and there is no reason you shouldn't pass the class. Just do the work and stay up to speed. He even gives reminders for when things are due. Incredibly kind and great email response time. He wants you to succeed, take him!

This is a hard class no matter who you take. You have to actually put in the time for studying or you will fail. But with that being said, Professor Harman genuinely wants you to succeed. Extra credit is not promised but he did give it this semester. He responds quickly to emails and breaks things down in a way that you can understand them.

Took him for Bio I lab. He is straight to the point and explains the materials very clearly. He will answer email very quickly and is super helpful. The lab reports and lab quizzes are fairly easy and he is not a tough grader.

I took Dr. Harmans A&PI course online and he made this online transition so smooth! I am no good with online courses but with continuous email communication, understanding and extra credit.. I was able to stay on top of everything. The exams were a bit tough for me personally but he definitely shares good study tips and helps out. Highly recommend!

Professor Harman is without a doubt one of the best instructors. He is gracious with extra credit opportunities, and grading. A&P overall is a work intensive class but Dr. Harman makes it as easy to understand as possible. He is responsive to inquiries and emails. His classes fill quickly so don't hesitate to sign up given the chance!

Prof Harman is amazing! Took online A & P 1 with him Spring 2021. The course is difficult but he tries his best to break the material down do a level where you can understand it. The exams are not easy but he is very fair when it comes to omitting bad questions and he gives you the benefit for it. I've never had a teacher do that! Take him!

I only had Harman for the lecture part and lab with another. Keep your motivation strong with anatomy and physiology. Harman exams are fair, the powerpoints can be long but will be in the exams and the mastering AP assignments you can find them on Quizlet so make it your primary study guide. We all miss in-person classes. #vaccinated

TAKE HIM! He really cares about his students and puts in the time to really make sure his students understand the material. His lectures are long but are not boring. He will give back credit on test if he does not find the question fair or if it wasn't covered in class. He offered extra credit that also helped prepare you for the final.. DO IT!

Dr. Harman is a fantastic professor. I was nervous taking the course because I was warned that A&P was a super hard class and I've never been the best at science. Dr. Harman changed my perspective completely and gave me the confidence to do well in his course. BIOL2401 covers a lot of information but he helps break it down very well!

I took Dr. Harman for Anatomy and Physiology 8-week summer session. This is a hard class, but Dr. Harman did his best to break the material down to make it easier to understand. He is very responsive to emails and will help with any concepts you are having trouble with. Take him you want regret it!

Wow, definitely one of the best professors out there, took his summer 8 week course, and although the subject is intense, he makes sure you understand. Answers emails and concerns in a fast timely manner, words could not describe how amazing his class was and the way he structured it, you will not regret taking his class, very caring and patient!

Newer professor but good at what he does. Able to admit and correct mistakes. Approachable. Will never make you feel dumb for asking questions. Textbook not necessary (I read it anyway). Takes attendance. Not mandatory, but will influence rapport. Bad jokes make up for deep/monotone voice. Must pay for Mastering A&P HW & Visible body for lab.

I took Professor Harman for A&P1 & he was great. Pls take!!! This class is hard as it is, no matter who you take. He responds to emails quickly and is very understanding. His exams are a big part of your grade so make sure to really study for them. You have to buy a book just to access the code for lab hw, but we didnt use the book in class.

His lectures were engaging and I loved the way he took whole class periods to explain a process of the body in detail AND DRAW IT!!!! Seek no further! PLEASE, take Dr Harman as your A&P 1 Professor.

A&P courses are funnel courses. They're relentless and fast paced. You can't skate through on sides alone. To succeed, you read and research until u understand the ideas

Dr.Harman is an incredible professor! Great at giving good ways to memorize concepts. Exams and quizzes are based on lectures (which are pretty long) so make sure to pay attention and STUDY!! You will need to dedicate a lot of time to studying. 4 important exams, online non-proctor quizzes for each ch, final exam questions taken straight from exams

You will have a quiz every week in class his quizzes are exactly like the exams (all quizzes an exams will be practical's). Make sure to study outside of class due to memorizing parts and functions. I highly recommend professor Harman for lab. I came out with a 92 for the overall class grade.

Dr. Harmon is excellent at interpreting concepts in a digestible manner to make sure ALL students understand the necessary material. He's a very fair grader and he really does look out for and care for his students. He's very approachable as well, often promoting students to ask questions and uses irl analogies in class to teach. Prof Harman tries to make this class simple to understand. A&P 2 is hard but he tries to explain and answer all your questions as best he can. He offers office hours and answers emails pretty quickly. His grading criteria is very simple as well and he follows the syllabus to the dot basically if anything changes he does let you know :)

Professor Harman is amazing, but this class is not easy. I took A&P1 as a 10-week course and if you don't study at least 4-8 hrs a week, you probably won't pass. There are no reviews, but he explains things well and you can tell he really cares about his students. If you really want to learn and understand A&P, I highly suggest this class.

Professor Harman is pretty cool and funny. AP2 is a hard class but as long as you attend class and put in the work to study you will do well. He is also very caring and he genuinely cares about his students succeeding in his class. No study guides here, this class prepares you for entrance exams so he is not a fan of study guides. I took Dr. Harman for A&P1 and he was awesome! He made lectures super enjoyable and made a lot of sense. Expectations were set clearly up front on the first day of class and he didn't change those expectations throughout the semester. A&P is a hard class so you do have to work hard but Dr. Harman was supportive throughout the class.

He's a great teacher, and is very good at explaining the material in a way that makes sense. You definitely have to put in work outside of class (as with any content-heavy course) but his lectures are very helpful and interesting. He's always willing to answer questions and help you understand anything that may be confusing you.

One of the best teachers I've had. His lectures are enjoyable, he always gives out fun facts while lecturing and answers your questions if you have any. He has a quirk of always being late for both lecture and lab but if you need extension or reopen an assignments, he always gives it. His tests are very easy if you study the Powerpoints.

I suggest taking him for A&P because he absolutely loves teaching the subject. He cares for the students well being and he will do his best to be available to his students. With that being said, his labs were very straight forward and his lectures could sometimes be heavy. Some lectures of his you may find very dull like the respiratory system.

Doctor Harman is super chill and honestly one of the nicest instructors I've had. The best thing is, he doesn't take off points for spelling mistakes. Some of the exam questions are a bit tricky, but if you study well, you'll be fine. I highly recommend taking his class!

The best A&P professor I've had. He provides study guides for every exam, lab worksheets, and plenty of great resources. Make sure you ace the lecture exams since they make up 50% of your grade.
