Prof. Hoffman makes everyone lives alot earier. He is cool with us because he teaches a working class. I would love if he taught other classes other than marketing. Every Professor should be like him. He is an excellent Math teacher.

Professor Hoffman is awesome! His tests are pretty tough but he tries to make every one succeed. He knows everything about marketing and will even become your advisor. Read the chapters twice if you can. His tests are taking directly from sentences in the chapters.

In the beginning of your first class you will be told that you have to maintain a clipping thesis from the wall street journal. START clipping out the articles related to the chapters you will be covering THE FIRST WEEK OF CLASS. Spending 3 days at the end of the term clipping 15 weeks worth of articles is not worth the stress.

I am taking a winter class with him now. HE IS AMAZING!!! I have never seen a professor so organized, I have never been in a class where I have learned so much in so little time. his exams are medium, straight forward, and allows you to get the knowledge you need to know, but he gives too many assignments that takes a lot of your time, so i recommend him for those who are business or marketing majors, his classes will take a lot from the time you are supposed to give to other classes.

The breakdown that will help u if u r thinking of taking this class:We had very interesting lectures, there were some very interesting movies shown throughout the class. We had one persuasive essay, one thesis paper which was basically a summery of every chapter and a portfolio which was your notebook that you kept throughout the semester. The port

This class is very to the point. Come to class, do your work, and you will be fine. I found the WalMart essay pretty interesting to write. Fantasic class. The Hoff keeps it interesting with funny, real-life examples. A fair amount of work, but manageable if you don't let it pile up. He also seems to bend over backwards to help his students - both with the course and college life in general. My only regret is that I took BUS 104 before I knew about Prof. Hoffman.

He taught every chapter in class via a big screen so we did not need the book in class but he would never let us leave early. I love his style. God bless him. Thank you.

Prof Hoff, is one of the best I ever met at BMCC, he explains his work crystal clear.Doin the Clipping Thesis is very important, it is worth almost half of ur grade.I work full time and took his class in the winter ses, it was alil tough but it the end I got an A, which was worth it the hard work. His teaching is worth comming to class to everyday.

Professor Hoffman is the best. He is very friendly knowledgeable person. His class is very easy, as long as you do your homework on time. But keep in mind, you will have to do a lot of writing.

He's very bright, interesting, and a wealth of vital information. Students beware: if you'e not serious about a career in business to include mathematics, marketing and logic, then this is not the professor for you. Great professor! Very helpful and easy going person. Has a lot of experience in the area and gladly shared it with the students. Watched a lot of movies connected to the subject. You have to do a portfolio, which has to be 100% your work, one essay, and 4-5 tests. He gave a study materials for each test. I would definitely recommend him!

Awesome class!!! His teaching method is different but it works, keeps you interested. Things can seem a bit all over the place but it comes together at the end. Show up to class, do the work - you will get an A. The best part you actually leave his class having learned a thing or two and he?s funny. Take his class, you won't regret it.

Way the best Prof I had at BMCC,not becoz the class was interested but becoz he makes it be,he is so knowledgeable & know his stuff well,he talks about real life events which kept me awake,just make sure to do the summaries(summary of all 17 chapters of the book)from the start, don't wait!!!and its gonna be an easy A,4 easy exams with study guide!!

Mr hoffman was a really cool professor. We had fun and everyone seemed to like the class . It was a great experience and i would probably recommend him to other students.

Great professor! If you do your work, you will pass! Every week gives homework which is good to review yourself, tests sometimes are tought! But anyway this is college! HOPE To take him again!

So basically he gave us 4 test. Then after every class you have to do a summary of all the chapters, and its like 20 in total . The chapters are really long. We also had to do a marketing plan which he was never clear about . You definitely have to really work hard to get a good grade in this class.

Professor Hoff is one of the best English teachers Ive came across. His work is fair and hes understanding and helpful when it comes to his work. I would take this class again and wouldve hope he taught my other English classes. Hes very considerate and loves feedback about the work he hands out so he takes into account what to make fair.
