Teaches the philosophy behind ecomonics. This is something you don't get at UW, which is terribly unfortunate. I'm nearly completed with an undergradate econ degree, entirely inspired by hubert. Fantastic teacher. Really happy I had him early on, helped set me up for my entire school experience. He sounds very hard, but as long as you stick out the class and study for the midterm and final there is no reason you shouldnt at least get a 3.0. Also remember he does grade on a curve and the average is a 3.0

I went into this class with a high level of interest in the subject and left it feeling as if I learned nothing. HEED THIS ADVICE: If you're starting your first quarter at Seattle Central. Take Econ 100 first if you're willing to. Econ 201 & 202 will be a lot easier if you took Econ 100. You'll learn Professor Hubert's expectations and tricks. Econ 100 is basically 201 & 202 squished together. Great Professor by the way.
