Professor Indelicato is great,in and out of class. If you need help outside of class,always makes himself available, in class he is great as well, he is always energetic and passionate, also always gets my neurons firing. He does a great job with explaining things and making sure we got it, also lectures are intuitive and enjoyable. Lucky to have!

Probably my favorite professor this semester. If I could take him again I would. He is very personable and funny and doesn't give a lot of work. Whenever he does, it's super easy. All the quizzes are super easy just pay attention in class. He's a great teacher and always makes his lectures fun.

He's an awesome professor. This is my first time taking a Psychology class and I learned a lot. Many of the things I learned I will remember for the rest of my life. As he likes to say, "They can take away your money, car, or home, but they can't take away your education."

At first I wasn't sure what to think, but towards the end of the semester I didn't want the class to end. A great professor who is not only extremely knowledgeable but extremely caring. Really opened my eyes to the areas of the psych field, would absolutely recommend and take again.

Prof James(as he would prefer you to call him) is by far my favorite Professor/Teacher I have had yet. You will not be bored learning the content. My one piece of advice would be to attend class as much as possible. You will likely still pass but only hurt yourself. If you are a Psych Major like myself this Prof is a MUST. Highly recommend.

If it wasn't for my major, I would be taking all of his classes! It was a class I actually looked foward going to and it wasn't stressful. There were interesting, not boring, lectures everyday.

This was my first college course, I had general psychology and he made me feel very comfortable. He made me want to wake up and show up. If you are looking for a class that you will actually enjoy even if school isn't your favorite thing, he is your professor. It's impossible to have a Problem with him or how he runs his class. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Prof James is the best teacher I've had. His class goes by fast, easy to remember the lectures because he is entertaining, interesting, and fun. He is not one to think teacher knows best, he will work with you on most things, very understanding and human. After this class I realized psych was what I was most interested in. I would 100% take Prof James again. Assignments are all very easy and take minimal time. As long as you show up to class and take notes, it is an EASY A. I took prof James about a year ago and I learned so much from him. He makes learning fun again by using real life examples and by really breaking down what we need to learn in so many different ways. He is very clear about what he expects from his students, but most importantly he cares for his students and is a great teacher!

By far one of the best professors I've ever had. He does tend to get a little sidetracked with his stories and jokes, but they're always relevant to the topic or lessons. He is very fair with assignments which are very easy and gives simple extra credit opportunities. He made an early morning class fun! Would recommend 100% taking any class of his.

Professor James is such a good professor I loved his lectures and his jokes were so funny. He is very caring and wants his students to succeed in any way. If you don`t do well on an exam speak to him privately and he lets you retake it. If you need to take a psyc class make sure you take it with him!

Indelicato has a great deal of experience in the psych field and always has at least one story to tell for every lesson. His classes are engaging, effective, and the grading is very fair. His tests can be a little confusing at times and he can get off topic easily, but his class was easily my favorite so far at OCC. A pretty easy A and very fun.

Professor Indelicato is amazing! He's very accessible outside of class as long as you communicate with him! Prof James made psychology a relatively easy class. Of course you still have to study & put the effort in, but he will relate his lectures to personal experiences which makes it easy to learn! He is super funny! TAKE HIM! You won't regret it!

He's a great guy, I will say his tests can be pretty hard but that's just because he expects you to put in the effort in all his assignments. Studying really matters, but there's rarely homework, and makes some jokes, so all in all really great professor

Amazing professor, would definitely recommend! He is hilarious, caring, and an easy instructor. All tests were take-home or open book which was nice, and his lectures are entertaining since he relates the material to real world instances. Taking him again next semester, he was phenomenal! Professor Indelicato is an amazing guy. The class was small so it was a very intimate setting where we could have genuine conversations, he helped me understand the material by going in depth and relating it to real life.

Prof James is awesome, I left his class with an understanding of the subject and inspired to make psych my major. The tests will be difficult for you If you don't study or skim the book. The PowerPoint are helpful but do not rely on them as your only test study guide. Assignments are fairly easy and fun. Hope to take another class soon.

I think he's a great professor whose upbeat and funny. But be aware he goes over sensitive topics in his class and tends to talk about a lot of politics. His tests are tough unless you make sure to study and listen to his classes. Also attendance is mandatory and perfect attendance means extra credit.

Easily the best professor at OCC. He's hilarious, doesn't give assignments, and connects his topics to real world instances that make it easier for us to remember. Took him last semester, this semester, and am even taking him again in the Spring. Such a stress free class. Just show up, pay attention, and you'll pass with flying colors.

Definitely my favorite class of this semester! Prof. James explains the material clearly and gives you access to powerpoints and note sheets. Definitely use the textbook to study too. Beware: he does let you know his personal opinion on sensitive topics, and I would suggest not taking him if you are somewhat emotional on certain topics.

Taking abnormal psych with Indelicato was an amazing experience. He is passionate about the field and is super involved and knowledgeable. He has worked in pretty much every setting that involves psych and shares his experiences. The class mainly consists of lectures but is more of a group therapy session. Would definitely recommend and take again!

Great teacher

Prof. James is an amazing professor who makes class fun and interactive. 4 tests 50 questions each, as long as you study both your notes and the textbook you will pass. Lectures were interesting and he gives many opportunities for extra points. Syllabus is clearly laid out and followed throughout. You will not regret taking his course!

Prof James is a character. Cool, unhinged professor. Lecture heavy, tests are worth 70% and open book but can retake if you fail. Very experienced and makes class interesting. He's an experience you won't want to miss. Don't take if you are sensitive or easily offended. Took him twice and I loved every second.

I currently am taking (I will write another review at the end of the semester) but he's definitely cool and funny to his dad jokes every day (just gives me feels of my dad for an hour and 15 every Monday and Wednesday) you have to get his dad jokes yes he may repeat them but that's okay he just wants you to laugh at them. Professor James is my all time favorite professor I have ever taken at OCC.He is hands down the funniest and most interactive professor. He genuinely cares about each and everyone of his students and wants to see you succeed. Not only does he teach you so much about the importance of psychology, he makes it fun for everyone. Prof James definitely greet psych prof on campus he thinks highly of his students just make sure you get everything done on time and be on time and your on his good side he has only quizzes but he calls them "tests" he does two chapters then a quiz and his assignments are easy. Just be there on time and get ready to learn

I would recommend this class! Professor James made class fun and interesting, I feel like I learned a lot. I would definitely take more of his classes in the future! There is a lecture/power point then every 2 weeks a there is a test. He helps his students succeed and the lectures/power points are never truly boring.

Vall. He is so funny and all you really need is to prepare for quizzes which are online and multiple choice. A very easy course and great teacher as long as you look at slides and listen to lecture.

One of my favorite professors by far. If you can take any of his classes you will not regret it! His lectures are so interesting and instead of just lecturing from the slides he also gives real life examples to help you understand. Never bored once in his class and enjoyed every second. Prof. Indelicato is amazing. Took his personality theory class and although it's a newer course it is so rich of information! He encourages class discussion, which is what makes or breaks a class. Very educated he knows his stuff. I would take him again, you should too!

This professor is a great person. He will give you two chances to take tests and gives you all the information you need to be able to pass the tests. I got "stuck" last minute with this 8am class, couldn't be happier that I did. If you can deal with a few bad Dad jokes, this is your class. Prof James truly loves the material and attempts to keep you engaged. As a middle-aged newer college student, I have learned tips and tricks for studying, memory in general, that I will carry with me forever!
