He teaches literature using a comic book. He has an atitude to boot. It appears he was bullied quite a bit in high school and still holds a grudge to this day. He is fair and I did enjoy most of what we read, not that I would appreciate EVERYTHING read. The diversity of material read was refreshing.

Stop complaining about the workload, its not that bad, and his assignments are very rewarding in that they make one really THINK abot the material. Tka ehis class if you really want to learn something. A++

Probably my favorite teacher at MCC so far. He's fair and keeps you interested which isnt easy for a 6-9 class. I'm no english major, but he explains things in a way to make the average person understand. You do need the book, but they are pretty cheap as far as textbooks go. And yes attendance is mandatory, it was a once a week class.

Grade: Drop/Withdrawal
Apr 6, 2025

This guy acts all cool while you can still get your money back if you withdraw, then he shows his true colors. He implied pretty heavily that he "plays the long game" to collect your papers that you sign your names on for his political games, if you don't play the game you fail. Grades unfairly, even when his TA approved me for an A, he gave me a D

His teaching style just straight up confused me and it didn't help he says the same thing every time, plus every time he put comments under my paper they either made no sense or contradicted what he said in the lecture. overall I think he should stick to literature

Talks about the same thing for 2 months straight and wonders why we don't have any questions. I haven't developed a single writing skill in his class and everything he tries to teach is just way too confusing, 90 percent of the class has withdrawn and I don't blame them.

Glorified the Assassination of Charlie Kirk and spread political misinformation and became agressive when called out on his unprofessionalism and unethical behavior. A formal complaint has been submitted against him.

the readings arent open for interpretation, to him every text has to relate to sex somehow which would be fine, this is a college class, but he goes about it so unprofessionally and uncomfortably. it gets very repetitive and nothing is actually learned about literature. half of every class is spent explaining dirty jokes. so uncomfortable
