Excellent professor. Very knowledgeable lecturer, passionate about what he teaches. Took a night class with him and it changed the way I look at and study history. There are a few papers, a few videos in class, midterm and final. If you take good notes (possibly record like I did), and hand assignments in on time, its an easy A. Best stories ever!

Professor/Dr. J Le Pree is surprisingly an excellent teacher with a worldly experience and has a profound knowledge in deciphering text origins an eye for proving where a particular work originated. Be careful do not cheat, plus it's no fun...He is a fun professor. I highly recommend him as as ur prof and for full time city college employment!

One of the best professors I've had. Really helpful and lectures are focused on what you really need to know. It seems like a lot of work to cover but he gets the material down to the point limiting the time wasted on studying things you won't need for the papers or exams. Someone mentioned that he's a walking textbook and it's true. I personally think that the textbook wasn't really necessary - I didn't read it, didn't have to. Intellegent and accomplished as well- acticles for renowned journals and he's made a translation for a 5th century latin text. Very understanding and definately easy to approach- reliable source for any trouble in anything "history".
