Best class i've had so far. He cracks up jokes all the time to keep us focused, and so the class can be enjoyable. All you have to do is do the work that your given, and show up to class. He doesnt like slackers. I was too layed back, and had to listen to his jokes another symester, and trust me hearing the same jokes for a second semester aint fun

EAP1620 I really recomend this professor. His is very hepfull and the way he teach is very interisting. You can learn a lot of tricky question for the Florida state exams. This professor is exselent. If you have chance to take just take him.

EAP 1620 it's really not an easy class,it wasn't easy for me to get an A for this class,not Mr James fault ,but the readings are kinda confusing and the question are very tricky.There's one thing to do and i guarantee you gonna get a good grade if you do that,at he beggining of the term,read and do all the exercices in "Thinking through..." book .

Well, folks, I can tell you one thing, he is the best professor I ever had. He loves teaching. He sat down with me and explained very well all the material. Moreover, He has a good rapport. In addition, he uses jokes to help you learn. For example, he faked that he tripped over the desk to show us what are interjections. You will learn a lot.

However I will say he's a ninja in Writing, and grammar. Answer all the questions. Reading is a little different u have to do allassigments by yourself

Took two classes with him. When it comes to have fun he is funny, but make sure to do all the assignments. He will give you extra credit and more time to turn in your assignments but you have to, otherwise don't expect a grade you don't deserve.

He is not your usual professor. If he sees effort he will help you to get through it. If you are a lazy ass and don't do the work you won't do well in this class. He always tries to get your attention and make you learn different things. If you're only focused on getting the classes done without getting much more out of it, this is not your class.

Easiest class I've ever taken. Attendance is mandatory but missing a few days won't hurt too bad. Cool guy who wants to personally know his students, however, a bit too closely though. The class he taught was perfect for what he loves to do and he's always enthusiastic about it. Great guy. Always giving out ways to use technology to help.

I took both of his reading and writing classes. I'm not a really a huge fan of writing, in fact, I hate writing but James seemed interested in actually helping the students. He is a tough grader but he also gives all the chances and opportunities to pass the class.

I took his reading and writing classes, and I loved them. If you want to learn, take his class. He has lots of homework, and he uses a method called retrieving practice which makes you learn. I was impressed with how much I have learned doing this. His classes are not boring at all. Also, he gives a lot of extra credit. High recommend him.

This class doesn't have a textbook or code. This class has several interesting assignments to emphasize the topic we will learning, a lot of assignments for extra credit, and doesn't have tests (only the final exam). He emphasizes repetition or retrieving practices. He has a guide on how to do an essay from 12 tenses to how to cite resources.

I am so glad to take his class online. I am already stressed with other classes, but this class has made me appreciate and learn English with ease without causing my motivation to plummet. Always make sure you do any extra credit to ensure. Always practice.
