Not a good choice. Very easy in classes, but wait till midterm or final comes, you will figure out that he never teach you this staff. I used to go to a tutor for help.

Attendance is mandatory(10% of your grade)online quizes and homeworks(60% of your grade) Final(30% of you grade) is a little bit hard if you you do not understand the concept. 17 conceptual questions and 13 problems. Problems are easy

STAY AWAY! The comment below is correct. Homework / quiz are easy. Thats only 40% the other 20% is attendance, And last 40% FINAL.. He doesnt even make up the questions. he picks it randomly from a question bank... If you can self study, then take him.

There are only 30 questions in final..and the final is 40%... That hurts a lot!!!Even you get 100 in pervious hw, quiz, attendance..you still have the chance to get C!!!! I hope he can give curves or reduce the final percentage in the end!!!

He is really nasty. Don't take him if you want to get a better grade. His final was incredible. Even though you really understand the materials, you won't get high score in final. Also, he is incapable and he will ignore your emails if you ask making up hw or quize.In addition, he is picky. If he can't pronounce your name,he will ingore yourself.

Real Bad. I got an A only because of my good recitation prof. More than 70% of 3xx students just show up to take attendance and then leave IMMEDIATELY. He said, "I don't get it."

He is a kind person,willing to answer your questions and give you advices, but just read the slides and answer hw questions. If you can study by urself then it's fine. Easy quiz and exam. if u know how to study by ur self.

He's like a likable person, he always trying to make students laugh and relax. But if you're trying to pass with a good grade and really want to get the materials, I wouldn't advice you to take him. he always goes super fast , he doesn't even give study sheets to practice for the exams, he's lazy and his tests are super hard and tricky.

DO NOT TAKE ACCOUNTING WITH THIS PROFESSOR!!! He rushes through each class and reads from the slides (super fast). The midtermfinal reviews are not helpful at all because, like every other class, he rushes through the material and you barely have a chance to take notes.

That final exam was NOTHING like what we reviewed in class or practiced at home in our books. It should be thrown out to be honest.

Prof. Miglino- Wasn't a suitable for teaching this course. He expects us to learn on our own. There is homework from connect and Excel assignments due. Tough Course- and Prof. Miglino just reads off the slides. True Gpa Killer. Try another Professor if possible.

Hes a good guy that cares about his students. unfortunately even though he tries he is not great at teaching accounting. His method is very different from almost every accounting professor. 0 percent focus on practice problems or journal entries. He thinks if he stands there and talks you are going to learn. That does not work. Your gpa will suffer

This is not what you expect from teaching style in accounting class. 1 midterm, 2 easy quizzes and final. Expect to hear something like "rethink your selected major" or "drop the class" once you get less than average on midterm. Also expect to see some students finish their exams in like 15-20 minutes, who knows how...

He only reads slides every time he goes to class, and he also gives answers to the lesson questions, but does not explain them. He never responds to emails, even though he often says, send him emails if you have any questions.

Worst professor I have ever seen. Stay away from him at any cost. He only read slides, does not reply to emails. His exams are straight from Test Bank. Just study Test bank and Quizlet. I haven't learned anything in the class, wasted my time, take someone else, just avoid him

Worst professor EVER at Baruch! Totally a GPA killer. Wasn't respect to students, especially to those who aren't native English speakers. Only read over the slides and simply gave away the answers of MCQs after each chapter. There's no homework, but he graded an easy exam way harder than it's. I got my first B EVER in college because of him.

Mindlessly reads from slides, assigns no work outside of the classroom to build upon what's "taught," fails to foster an environment conducive to learning, and arbitrarily grades exams according to his own mood. He has good intentions but is easily flustered and unaccustomed to online teaching.

This guy just read the power point. even thought the Multiple questions, he just gives the answer without any explanation. His exam is short question. Actually, he just ask some basic concept's definition and ask for some examples. Not difficult, but not enough time.

Two exams, one case study. easy A with learning nothing. You can't get his reply although you have waited for a thousand years. Ironically, he often said that if you have any questions, you can email him. He will interpret a wrong answer as the correct answer because he read the wrong answer.

He just talks about random stuff during lecture. Does not really teach much, and you will end up teaching yourself. And he will either take ages to answer emails or never reply to them at all.

He is horrible. Avoid at all cost. I got A's in all accounting courses at Baruch even in cost and had a 4.0 GPA. This professor ruined my GPA. He grades the papers based on how he feels that day. Very disrespectful towards students.

Nobody knows what standards he uses when grading papers and exams. Grade could be based on if he recognizes you from class participation or anything reallyyou never know. So your grade could be higher or for worse, lower. His classes are composed of lecture and participation (10%) but you never know how you did since he never upload that grade

Wastes like 15 minutes of beginning class time on phone calls. Ends class 15 minutes early. So what class like? Him reading to himself his notes. And then a second time while sharing powerpoint. Actually a first for me hahaha! Grades are pretty subjective since he doesn't tell you how he grades. He could make mistakes and your grade would be lower

He doesnt curve. His grading is not clear. I dont thing no one in my class got an A even though he said that 35 students will get an A with curve. Worst experience ever.

This guy has such a terrible teaching style and isn't willing to change even if students tell him it's not working. The bad ratings are absolutely justified. He just reads off the slide. You pretty much have to teach yourself. Exams are tricky. Save your money and find someone else.

gotta teach yourself, direct and easy grading criteria but I learned by absorbing the info from the online homework, nothing from his live lectures but attnd matters, no powerpoint during lecture but there are pps avaliable online, drops slowest quiz, video hw, and mcq hw, just note if you're a pp/notes w/ lecture type learner, it'll be difficult

His lectures are pointless, his slides are a somewhat summarized version of the textbook, the textbook itself plus the HW and Smart book if you use Connect will help you far more than whatever he's doing. He's one of the worst case scenarios as a professor, avoid him if you can.

Fails to catch cheaters, mandated a cell phone on desk policy for final exam after numerous complaints of cheating (all of a sudden those scoring A+Bs failed the final) HOW DOES A PROF EVEN FAIL AT CATCHING CHEATERS??? just don't do it. told us maybe accounting isn't for us if we don't do well but the real problem is his teaching style. i failed every exam. 52 people out of 70 something failed one of the exams. he'll pass you but it will be misery. 2 exams 1 final, homework, and attendance. gave me so much anxiety the entire semester not knowing if i'm gonna pass

We had a review for an exam and almost nothing from the review was on the test. Read the textbook because his power point slides don't cover all exam questions. Also, his exam questions are not similar to the end of chapter questions in the textbook, so even though the questions are not hard, they will be different than what you prepared for.

Walks in late, talks about himself, his firm, and scandals from the 80's for an hour, briefly talks about some topics using examples from his life only (not applicable to test), last 15 mins pulls up slides, reads off of it verbatim monotone. Then leaves 30 mins early feeling accomplished. DO NOT TAKE. No practice exams, no beneficial help, NOTHING

The absolute worst. He has a giant ego for someone who has the worst ratings. Class average on the midterm is 52 and final, 43. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS! He only talks half the time in class and no helpful resources or tools to study. He also uses a complex textbook compared to other AUD classes. You are better off with Edgar! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!

Please save yourself and don't take this man's class. How is it possible that the midterm average was 52% and final average was 43% and somehow to him, we're still the problem. No useful resources at all. And I'm convinced he grades exams on what he thinks is right not what the actual answer is. Worst professor I've taken. PLEASE DONT TAKE HIM.
