Dr. O'Keefe is the most interesting teacher I have had yet. Everything he speaks about makes sense as well as is interesting. Not only does he know his stuff, he's a hottie!! I definetly recommend taking his class!!!

O'Keefe is definately a great professor, but you MUST go to class. If you're early-you're on time and if your on time you're late and if you're late don't even bother showing up.

I am taking Prof. O'Keefe for a 7:35am class and I thought this was going to be hard to do. However, guess what? This prof. is amazing!!!!! He is very understanding and going to class is always enjoyable. If you take good notes, you attend class on time, and do the issue paper and the 2 exams you will be fine. He is great. Dr. O'Keefe is hands down one of the best professors I've had here at St. John's. His lessons revolve around current events, and it shows he is constantly curating them. He uses his real-life experience to teach, which makes the class interesting. He is open to answering questions in and outside of class, and you can go to him for any help.

I would definitely take Professor O'Keefe again. He always did a good job letting us know about current world issues and also let us know about current job openings for Federal positions. He was super understanding and his classes were so easy to follow. His classes fill up quick so be prepared for that as well.

BEST PROFESSOR. Lectures are super interesting and easy note-taking (he posts slides). A handful of straightforward discussion boards, final paper on whatever topic you want, online midterm and final. If you want a knowledgeable professor, who supports his students, and truly teaches without giving loads of unnecessary work TAKE HIM!!
