You should take this class very serious! This course is based of 4 exams and a final. Do all the homework and pay attention to the lectures, and you should be able to pass the class smoothly. He rarely gives out extra credit, so take advantage of any extra credit he gives.Overall he is an amazing teacher. Just be on track and pay attention.

I didn't know that it was a hybrid class so that falls on me, I think if I had signed up for the regular class, I may have understood the material a little more in depth. This is an accelerated course that lasts 8 weeks, and I felt like this was quite intense, as there was quite a lot of reading (usually 2, sometimes 1 chapter per week) plus homework, and lots of material to process and memorize. Better grasp all concepts right away, otherwise the gaps in your knowledge will snowball in no time.

Though his test grading methods can be pretty rough, many of my classmates myself included had an incredibly hard time on the tests. Theres work on there we don't do in class (formatting the JE's ourselves) and there isn't enough time to do it all.

Best to do before class & follow along to identify what u should work on. He gives answers from the book. Do yourself a favor practice extra quest. using his excel charts or u will struggle on test.

Met once a week for lecture class time, primarily consisted of the chapters PowerPoint and Excel sheets solved in class. After a couple weeks, he stopped taking attendance. I took his online course, and I appreciated that he would record the lectures so I could look back on anything I've missed. He gets straight to the point and explains how to solve problems most efficiently that the textbook might not show. He also provides study guides in preparation for upcoming tests.

He even goes over practice problems in the book before the homework at the end of the week, and makes time before and after class to answer any questions that one may have.

I took this class in Fall 2025. The lectures are clear, and the teacher's advice is simple: read the book, do the homework, attend class, and complete assignments to pass. He's a good teacher, but I wish he used Canvas more instead of many emails. A Zoom Q&A would help. The class is well-organized with little homework and flexible study time.

I was able to follow recorded lectures of exercises on the material so that I could be prepared for the exam. I think that something that could help would be to incorporate software (pearsons) or any simulators where we could practice more exercises.

Great professor. (8 week course) Pretty straightforward, 4 exams, 1 exam every 2 weeks, 2-3 chapters per exam. Watch the exercise videos in your student email. They will be on the test. Between the book, the hw, and the videos, you should be able to pass no problem. Anything less than a B means you didn't try.

Take the class!! The only thing I'd say I didn't like is the tests are available from 7-9pm… it conflicted with work and holiday events with family. I feel like they should be available much earlier in the day. Maybe from 7am-6pm or something. But other than that it was great!

This was a simple and easy class. You will succeed as long as you turn in your work on time. The expectations were constant, the pace was reasonable, and the assignments were clear. If you're looking for a straightforward course that rewards meeting deadlines, I would suggest this instructor.
