Reinnoldt has a lot of real-world experience. He is eager to share and you will learn a lot from his successes/mistakes. His stories and lessons can not be taught in textbooks or reading. Assignments aren't too tough. The mini assignments lead up to the final paper, allow plenty of time to do it.
Awesome teacher! keep up with the work and you'll do fine! interactive and knowledgeable! a must take to finish your business classes off!
Unsurpassed experience outside academia. Rationalizes and subtantiates his point of view - even though we don't agree on some things, I respect his POV. (He could supress his political innuendo) One of my favorite profs. He has a genuine interest in your learning and fosters a safe environment for doing so. Keep up with the class schedule!
Such interesting real life stories from his work experiences. Excellant speaker and you will never be bored in one of his classes. Very valuable class that will add to your wealth of knowledge. Professor Reinnoldt pushes you to excellance knowing that each and every student is capable of producing such material. EXCELLANT PROFESSOR!!!
One of the best professors at the campus. Will give you plenty of work to keep you busy but you will appreciate what you learn at the end.
Great instructor, the best I have ever had. His projects are a pain but pretty simple, just follow the outline to the letter, presentation is everything!!! I would take any class taught by him in a heartbeat.
One of the best instructors on campus. Pay attention and come to class and you will do fine. Pay attention to the particulars of the assignments and you will avoid a lot of problems. Reinnoldt is great because he is williing to do what ever it takes to make you a success in an outside of class.
Honestly, I have never been more disrespected and walked over in my entire college career. If you can avoid this teacher at all costs.
Great professor. Great practical experience and really goes out of his way to help students. Highly recommended (the comment from the student below was made due to a poor grade; never came to class so only sour grapes. Too bad one has to resort to this).
Great teacher. Extremely considerate and goes out of his way to not embarass the students if they come up short on answers. I'd take a class from him at any time. Great professional stories. His "Mulu Lulu" research simulation a real gem.
Strict guidelines for report formatting. Very interesting real-world stories, however, quizzes tend to focus on minutia and trivia. Overall, excellent instructor, but be prepared to work your butt off.
This guy does not mess around. You get EXACTLY what you deserve. Immense real world experience, and he's an amazing lecturer. Read the homework and you'll love it. Awesome prof!
Worst teacher on campus. Unethical. All form and no content. Completely uncompromising. Missing a single detail will cost you several percentage points of your grade. Don't be absent or tardy, you will "pay the piper" as he says irrelevant of circumstance. Will isolate & humiliate individuals for minuscule things. No laptops. No eating.
Best teacher I have ever had. Awesome content and fantastic experience that he shares with the class. You have to work hard but you will get as much out of it as you put in. Some slacker students who can't handle it see their grades impacted-but they deserve it.
Greatclass. Real world application. Instructor's demands area bit excessive yet he has worked for some world-class firms so I think they are realisic. He likes to play Alex Trebeck of. Jeopardy which is amusing ... Overall a great teacher
INSTRUCTOR: Knowledgable but arrogant. Assnmt details are overwhelming. Petty - takes points off 1 min late paper. Controlling - you can't talk; he has to call on you. He's anal & don't believe him - he's not flexible OR open to feedback. LECTURES: fast (hard to take notes). QUIZZES: focus on minutia. Req'd HANDWRITTEN-time consuming-journal.
This class rocks! Great prof. Great discussions about world events. Amazing stories, Allota work but worth it. I will take a class from Prof Reinnoldt anytime!
Great professor! Never lose interest in class!
Good class. Tough but fair. Great stories.Either you make it or you don't-just like the real world! Go for it!
Great class and very fair. He puts a HUGE amount of effort into having a great class but also our career development. Reinnoldt's classes are among the highest rated in the UW system at 96% "Excellent Course" rating. See this on https://www.washington.edu/cec/b/BBUS480B1104.html

Class is over but we learned so much. Project killed us but well worth it. Great instructor. He should have won the outstanding faculty award!
Just completed MBA Global Biz with him. Of all of the MBA courses I have taken this was the best. He has an amazing breadth of knowlegde and can uniquely combine it with his experience in 30+ countries over20 years. GREAT Prof!
Best class and instructor I have ever taken. If you screw up you will fail-just like thereal world. Learn the lessons now.
Best course and instructor in the MBA program. No one comes close. Just be ready to work your butt off and don't slack. he has a knack for knowing who is with it and who is not
Intense but interestig class. Keep good notes. Project alot of work pick good team members. he has so much experience and tells it well! Highly recommended prof!
Excellent class and prof! Amazing experience and stories. Just come prepared and you will do fine. Emphasis on comm skills. Iheard he is not coming back next fall. What a loss for UWB
Great class. Best one at UW. Lotta effort but we learnt soooo much
Took MBA Global Biz class. Great class and prof. Needs to be a longer course. So much to learn...
By far the most impressive professor I have been a student of to date. Jim's ability to not only teach but to facilitate an excellent learning experience is top notch. The golden nuggets of information and wisdom that he so tactfully shares with the class have served me well in my professional career. Don't miss out!
Went on a UW Explore Seminar to Thailand with James in August 2007. What a great experience! Knocked our socks off! He is quite demanding but at the same time we had adequate time to learn for ourselves. He is also one of the most fair teachers I have had. Expectations are clear and you are evaluated against those. Overall great experience
Great teacher. Really pulls in global events to the classroom. Has professional experience that no one else at UW can match. Best class/prof I have ever taken
Wonderful class. We cover so much material of so much global relevance that it. seems like the lasted 6 months. Class was scary at first but later I adjusted and looked forward to attending every one. Such a smart man that speak clearly
Useful, relevant topics. Incredible pace. Be prepared and you will do fine. Great learning opportunity. Every college student in America should take a class such as this
Went to Thailand with him on an Exploration Seminar. Best esperience of my life. Great teacher. Knows Asia better than anyone. Highly recommended professor and class!
Has the unique great ability to connect with students individually that is rare in education today. He truly motivates you to succeed almost as if you do not want to disappoint him because he thinks so highly of you. Best overall instructor I've ever had. Best overall class I've ever had. Listen to him, he will change your life!
Great class. Learned so much. Especially relevant focus on China and India in light of global events. Best class I have taken to date. Be prepared to work!
Just finished a quarter in this class. Great experience. A lot of work but 99% of it is very useful to one's career and lives. Great final report but you will work for your grade!
Just an overall awful class. Professor Reinnoldt picks favorites big time and has a huge bias, talking only about the countries he has experience in and travels frequently to. He treats this class as if it were the single most and only important thing on the face of the planet. I would never take a class from him again.
Am about to finish this class and it is one of the best ever. Instructor knows so much about those areas of the world that really matter: Asia, China, Middle East. You have to do alot of work but it is well worth every minute.
Good class. Lot's of work. Keep good notes especially living cvases and u will do well. Also helps to have a good group as alott of class in grp work. Beset class I have taken as info is uselful to life
Took Global Business (MBA) last year and my work this quarter reminds me of how much we learned. Great insights and knowledge. Great instructor. Great class
AWFUL professor. His slides are awful and he talks too fast to take notes. Studying for the final is very hard. The rest of the class is a lot of work and is doable but he is boring and self-absorbed.
Excellent overall academic experience. Great teacher and class. Learned a huge amount about some interesting and complex topics. P.S. I am quite surprised at the previous comment because WE ARE GIVEN THE EXAM QUESTIONS AHEAD OF THE FINAL so how hard can it be to study?
Over emphasis on attendance. He would publically point out a student?s tardiness or absence in order to make examples of this behavior. He condescends students who do or say anything outside of his way of thinking. Poor teaching skills. Good content. I would never take another class with him again!
Just complted the quarter with him. Got a hard earned 4.0. yeah It's a huge amount of work but also a huge amount of learning about important topics. Some students gripe about him not being fair but those are the slackers that we all know. I would take a class from him any time and any day!
Best class best teacher best learning...on campus!
Lots of work but great global experience. He really cares about his students. Great project. Best class in my education years
Taking MBA global buz. Great material but class too short. Good lectures. Lots of practical experience. High recommendation!
good all around experience. the homework and projects are a bit overwhelming but on balance u learn so much
Great teacher and class. Helps me keep up with global events and news. Textbook not helpful. Great stories. He could write a book
Great class. It really keeps you updated and aware of global events. Prof is very strict about showing up on time for class and after break. Tough grader but it's a capstone class so deal with it; if you do really good work you will get full credit for assignments. Prof has high expectations of students. He is always willing to help if you need it
I fully agree with the previous comments. Hard work but you learn a huge amount about global buz, global affairs and the like. There isn't a topic in which he is not fluent it seems. He is indeed a stickler for being on time but so are top flight employers!
Absolutely positively the best class and instructor on campus!
Excellente! Hard work but learn so much I did
I took his class last year and can still remember many of the details that are so helpful to my career. Best class I took
Went on an Exploration Seminar to Asia with Prof Reinnoldt. Five countries. Great experience. So much knowledge about Asia and business. A life-changing event!
He really works hard to keep the material updated and his lessons relevant. He IS strict on punctuality but so are top employers. I give him a top mark.
He is by far one of my favorite teachers. His classes are interesting and he really knows his material. He also provides a lot of "real world" information. There's a lot of writing in his class and attendance is mandatory because he throws pop quizzes. He is very helpful and wants to see his students succeed. I highly recommend this teacher.
Definitely one of my favs so far. If you show dedication and interest he will invest time into growing you in school and beyond that into career goals and objectives. Highly recommend!
PROS: very nice, clear and helpful. You will learn a lot from his class. Cons: Mocks you in front of the entire class. He gave us our final grade point ONLY and told us to add up whatever papers we have, so good luck finding every one of them.I am 100% sure that I have more points than what he gave me. though I got an A-
Great class. Very helpful. Really supportive of the students. Real-world applications towards getting a job, communicating effectively in the office etc. You have to work hard to get a good grade but he is very fair. The textbook was not used very much but I'd rather listen than read
Judge students based on personal preference. Biased towards international students. Gives unexpected low scores to students he does not like.
One of the best classes I ever took was marketing management. Comprehensive, timely and very clear content. Very fair as well: You do well, you get a good grade. If not, well..
Liked class alot. Interesting. Stimulation. Teacher has some funny habits like always keeping doors closed. Professional environment. Lots of work. Textbook not worth the money
Interesting. I am an engineer and never really understood marketing. Now I do! Very clear. Good global experience
Excellent classes and instruction methodologies. Experienced in global business. Great connections between theories and business practices. Well worth it
I really liked this class and instructor. He is quite fair but expects alot of work from everyone. Still you will get a good grade if you work hard and speak up in class. He has some amazing stories of global business.
What a great class. So much experience and an ability to convey stories. He is not easy and will cold call on you but that's part of his style. Overall great class
Very interesting class. Professor made the material thought-provoking and fun. Best teacher I've had in all of my schooling!
Best class I have ever had. Very useful material. I am now prepared for the job market
Good class. Learned alot. Good projects. Team members were a bummer.
Learned so much. Great class. Great teacher. Very practical skills for job market
In class right now in short quarter. Love every minute of it. Tons of work and stupid team members but all in all very worthwhile. I love the way we discuss current events before each class
One of the rare extraordinary instructors who can balance academic content and practical advice for real work in business. His class is always interesting. Not a lot of assignments, but his expectation on the quality of your work increases over time. He has lots of experiences and is happy to share all the tips/lessons to succeed in real life.
This was a great class. Instructor really knows his material. Does a great job of relating theory to real world.
Very good teacher. He is very clear and highly focused on helping students be successful No exams bit a lot of writing! Still worthwhile
This is BEST of he BEST professors I have ever taken in my entire life. Teaches what you are going to need in life. REAL STUFF!
He's a good teacher. He doesn't give out tests for one thing and the majority of your grade depends on his writing assignments and the final project, which is a TON of work (and time-consuming of course). But overall, a very bright and helpful teacher. I'd recommend him.
This professor is "AMAZING", with capital letters. Do not leave the school before taking a class with him. Best teacher I took at UW.
This professor is a priceless jewel. His class is the greatest gift I have received during my professional education.
Real-world. Great professor.
If you're serious about being successful in the business world it is important to surround yourself with people like James Reinnold. He teaches his classes from experience, rather than the text book, giving students a real world look on things. Be your best, work hard and he will reward that ethic.
Ok teacher. I enjoyed his class in the beginning but when he says "you work will be evaluated against what other students submit," I begin to question just how ethical of a person he is. Easy grade, but may lead to a lack of interest in Marketing given his unwillingness to provide CONSTRUCTIVE feedback - his feedback his aimed to belittle you. GL.
Best class I ever took. I now understand marketing. His feedback is direct. Some students can't handle it. Any they won't in the business world either!
No respect at all. Mean! 10+ extra credit, each worth 0.05-0.1. Not allowing his student to be late to class for any reason, yet he came to class late for 20 minutes. Double standard. Discrimination. He is helpful, yet I don't think he is a good person. He teaches you how to be ethic but he is not an ethic person.
This is a great class. He is a tough grader but hold you to a high standard so you perform well and get prepared for the business world The marketing plan project really helped drive home the key points. We did not use the textbook very much so it was kind of a waste of money
Great class. I didnt learn anything in my intro to marketing class last year so this class is really helping me. No exams. Lots of guest speakers. He is a great teacher. No wonder he won the business Professor of the Year award last month.
Simply speaking: Great class. Learned (finally!) how to write a decent marketing plan. Good teacher too (just don't be late for his class! Textbook waster of money but good that we could buy used one
Pretty good teacher and I looked forward to his class. Assignments are not difficult but, you have to think critically. Lectures are not boring. His experience, engagement, and knowledge about the subject made the class very enjoyable. You don't really need the book because every question on the final quiz can be answered using lecture notes
Great lectures full of his experience. He is clear on his expectations so make sure you read them and follow them carefully. Take good notes in class. Read ALL the articles cause they will show up on the quizzes and exams.
Knows his stuff. Just listen and take good short notes that will help you on test. Be honest and enjoy his real world stories.
Class is fun as he always gives lectures based on his personal experience. Make sure you take good notes + read the articles he assigns weekly. The marketing plan project requires effort so make sure you pick the right team. His marketing class is more challenging than his 307, but the class is worth it. You'll learn a lot from him.
Prof Reinnoldt is a great teacher. Knows business theories and how to apply them. He has a very different teaching style. He NEVER uses notes. Teaches the whole class from memory it seems. He won the Teaching Excellence award two year in row from what I heard
Very good teacher. One of the best I've had over the years. Learned about writing tools for the corporate workplace. Just don't come to his class late and take good notes and you'll do fine
he is a bit intimidating, but a very smart teacher about marketing and he has lots of real world experience that makes his class more interesting. Make sure to never be late or not come to class he is strict on that. Pay attention, pick good teams, and you will do great
Professor Reinnoldt is amazing. He truly cares about his students, and he goes above and beyond to help his students. I took 3 classes with him and I would take all my classes with him if that possible.
I got a 4.0 in the class, did every additional assignment, always sat in the front and participated. At the end of the quarter, he told me I need to smile more to be taken seriously in the business world. So insulting, I was so shocked at how condescending he was like he had to find something wrong with me.
I have had two classes with Professor Reinnoldt (marketing and ethics) and they were the best of my college career. His classes are a lot of work but very worthwhile nonetheless. Be prepared for group work, and select a good teammates!
Am currently taking Business Writing with Pro Reinnoldt. Probably the best class that I have ever taken. He is tough on some people but if you come prepared you will do well.
Yes, James is an lenient grader and his workload is manageable. However, he wasn't the nicest professor. He was very condescending. I don't like him
I took business writing with him. Very interesting class. Learned a lot about proper report writing which is very useful. He talks very fast sometimes but just take good notes!
If you are considering taking his class, good luck!
Great class. Tough grader but learned so much about business communications. As he said at the beginning of the quarter: If you can handle the challenge, take the class. If not, then drop it! I'm glad I stayed
First time I took marketing class. Was great. Learned alot. Mr. Reinholdt is kind of strict but he simulates a biz office so that is great training.
Prof Reinnoldt works hard at helping students learn. He knows marketing although the classes are more slanted towards the service industry than consumer products. The class project is okay but you need to pick your classmates well. Textbook use not so important
Great teacher. Great class. Tough grader. But like anything, you get what you pay for. Class project was a lot of work.
Probably the best teacher I have ever had. Interesting stories but alot of focus on airlines and Asia. Fair grades. Alot of work
Great class. Huge amount of work but very relevant. Learned so much. Project teams were a drag. He also really helps students prepare for career skills
Professor Reinnoldt is incredible. Distinguished, intelligent, articulate and amusing. By far my favorite prof in the 2 years and a quarter at UW. His lectures are geared towards current events making it easy to connect the discipline. Everything you learn in this class will be used in the real world. Incredible story teller. Take him for anything.
Professor Reinnoldt is a very respected professor and has incredible lectures. He has lived a really interesting life and looks for ways to incorporate funny and crazy anecdotes into his lectures. Strict and tough grader though, looks for any excuse to take off a point or two (on five point assignments). 8/10 would take again most likely.
I took him for 307 and 320. His lectures will often make you envious of the fun life that he's lived! He inspires to reach further in life and dream bigger. Always willing to help you outside of class. I got 100% on all of his individual assignments, but the group project is what lowered my grade in both. MAKE SURE YOU PICK A HARD WORKING GROUP!
Great teacher although low key still scares me. Not afraid to call people out during class. DO NOT COME LATE. Shake his hand at the start of the quarter and introduce yourself. Pick a good group for the project. Start working on the brief early. Read guidelines and go to office hours to find out what he wants for assignments its insanely specific
Pretentious person who changes his mind a lot, but not too difficult of grader. Tests/quizzes not hard as long as you pay attention. Follow his writing guidelines and you'll get full points. Choose your project team wisely as marketing project worth a lot of points. My group didn't communicate well, and I had to do many of the parts.
Great class. Learned a lot about the fundamentals of marketing. Great personal stories. Be sure to pick a good team
James is an amazing professor, you will learn a ton from him in any class that you take. If you are able to closely follow directions and do what he expects at the level that he expects, you'll do great in the class. If you get to know him he can be a really caring guy! Could probably help you get a job in any place you wanted if you connect w/ him
Attend class everyday(esp first two) and you'll have a great quarter. Amazing professor, would take again, very interesting/stimulating lectures. Do the online readings. Group project heavy, so be warned on that side and try to work with good people. One of the best I've had at UWB.
He is inconsiderate when it comes to his students. He is hard to reach and out of touch and thinks he is always right. I have never felt so dismissed or disrespected by a professor. His material is not hard but he goes out of his way to call out students, make them feel small, and confuse them, turning the entire class experience negative.
He did not want to be contacted directly. You had to ask him questions through the discussion board. He was not helpful and was angry a lot of the time. He showed us his feet. He made group projects of 10 people that were not in the same section, time, or day. I got a decent grade but I could not listen to his whole 2 hour dry lectures.
I would take his class again but only because it was easy and required very little work. The professor himself is terrible, has extremely harsh grading criteria; not the right font, lost 50% of the assignment grade. Hard to get in contact with to the point where it's not worth it.
Avoid this professor. He is rude and unreasonable. No exams but weekly quizzes suck. He doesn't release the answers so you never know what you're doing wrong. No way to contact him except video office hours (no thnx he's mean) or a class discussion where he likes to embarrass students. Group project sucked no clear expectations. WORST UWB PROF EVER
James Reinnoldt has no business teaching whatsoever. He is the one of the most condescending, uptight, stubborn, asinine, rude and self-absorbed people that I have ever encountered in my life. Wanna learn something in marketing? Read the book and go watch YouTube videos. Hes that one person that will always dump on you if you ask him for help.
This is the 2nd class I have taken with him. He is really knowledgable and went out of his way to try to teach this class in a highly effective manner despite the first time transition to online learning to COVID. A few students have dissed him in an unreasonable manner. I learned so much in the end.
The class wasn't so hard but the online learning challenges were great. I think prof Reinholdt did a great job in the end.... He has a lot of global experience to share
Learned a lot in his classes. Very personable and helpful. Classes have a team project. Be sure to select a good one
I think he is great. He knows his material and can explain it clearly. Yeah, there are deadlines and strict writing standards, but the jobs I have had also have deadlines and strict writing standards. It is the real world. Some students are definitely not ready. This class helps prepare for it
I took Mr. Reinnoldt for Global Business BUS 480 last year. Best teacher I aver had. His classes require team projects and quite a bit of writing. Never really used the textbooks but his own material is great. Alot of experience that he shares
I took Prof Reinholdt's ethics and managerial comms class last year. His class was not too hard but he is strict about deadlines and standards. But, overall it was a great class. He helped me with career directions and advice
Prof Reinnoldt is excellent. He uses the business world to frame his classes which gives us a good sense of how important skills like communication can be. He is not an easy grader, but if you meet the deadline and show effort, you will do fine. Many students complain about this style because, simply, they don't do the work and they get bad grades
Condescending. Inconsistent. I took every opportunity to get the best grade, worked hard. At the end of the class he sent me a personal email critiquing my appearance. Highly unprofessional. I came to class in work attire regularly. Even if you get 100% it isn't good enough, he will feel threatened and find something wrong with you. Avoid him.
Excellent class. Unfortunately we were doing this online so it was not as personal as it could have been, but still very worthwhile. Learned a lot!
Great overall. Classes are run like a business. Learned a lot about ethics and writing tools. Highly recommended. (but need more guest speakers!)
Really liked his classes. This was my 2nd one. He is very interactive with the class and very experienced. Shares a lot of career success tips
Really enjoyed his classes. You have to do a lot of work but it is well worth it. He uses a lot of slides so take notes!
this teacher is seriously one of the MOST UPSETTING teachers I have ever had. his grading is really poorly outlined, he's condescending, unhelpful, impatient, and overall rude. he seems to have a superiority complex and hate for students who miss small details at times. he constantly gloats about being an ethical and fair person (which isn't true)
His Business Ethics class was the best I have ever taken, despite it being an online class. He is quite fair but very demanding. Great business stories and cases!
His Business Writing class this past quarter was amazing. Great examples given and great skills passed to students. It is best to attend every lecture if you want to do well on the assignments. No final exam :-)
Best class I have taken. learned so much especially from his experiences in Asia as a consultant and airline executive. I would be happy to take his classes again
Please do not waste your tuition money in his class it's not worth it. I know its mandatory but do yourselves a favor and find a different professor. Honestly, you will not learn a single thing. James Reinnoldt, requires three group projects without a rubric or clear direction, then grades with an iron fist.
His class is the best I have had since high school. Learned so much about business ethics and business writing skills. Group work can be a drag, though :-(
This is the second class that I have taken with him. He is quite demanding but clear and reasonable in his expectations. Great examples and stories
Really good classes with him in marketing and business writing. He is very current on global issues and trends and will incorporate these into his classes and lectures. Very useful tool skills learned in business writing
Ignore the students that gave this Professor bad ratings. If you do the work, you will have NO PROBLEMS in this class. I learned the MOST in this course. I have used the assignment materials from this course to get internships and now I get contacted by recruiters every week. I have become a much better writer because of this class.
Yes greatly agree with the last comment: He is a GREAT teacher. Great lessons. Really committed to making his students become successful. But, if you miss class or miss assignments, your grades will suffer. That is the way it works, huh?
Class is mostly lecture-heavy and lots of group assignments. He posts his PowerPoint, but they don't include all of the slides sometimes. He does not record his lectures. He has clear criteria and is not so accommodating/flexible towards student's personal situations. Take this class only if you aren't busy with other things.
He has a lot of business experience that he shares and relates to marketing theory. I have taken two classes with him. Overall a very effective professor. He gave us mini quizzes each week that were not too hard if you actually did the reading. Very worthwhile and highly recommended
Great classes Great teacher. Real-like application of key lessons. On-line learning is not so good but still a great class
Professor James is pretty intense. He does give a lot of valuable work experience that ties into Ethics and Writing. The assignments are helpful but he is all about concision and clearness. Weekly quizzes on lectures and readings so pay attention. Attendance is mandatory to get a good grade. If you do the work, you'll do fine. Detail matters alot
I have never met a professor as unprofessional as he is after years of going to various colleges around the west coast. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw how condescending his tone was when he replied to my email after letting him know that our group ran into some issues.
His lectures were the best of my education. He is very professional and maintains high standards in a manner that clearly simulates the business world.
He was great. Good example of business experience and relate it well to class material. He also talk a lot about career advice like interview skills and being an effective new employee. Just be sure to be on time, take good notes and participate and you will be fine in this class
Took business ethics and business writing. Great classes. Learned a lot about current ethical issues. He has a lot of experience to share. Be sure to take good notes and attend the study review sessions!
His Intro to Marketing class is one of the best classes I have ever taken. Be sure to get a good team! Highly recommended!
Class is easy but the guy is very passive aggressive and rambles off a lot. You will hear about his very wealthy brother and his friday cold swims a lot. He has an old-school approach to his guidelines. If you are patient, this class is for you, but if you are an efficient person you will lose your mind. Also make sure to enter from the backdoor.
Just took marketing management with him. Great class. He shares so many experiences. i would take him again anytime
I am now in his class. So far, so good. Good assignments. He has a lot of experience to share Very worthwhile class I think.
I think he is a fantastic teacher. Everything is very clearly outline in terms of his expectations. He has a lot of knowledge about current events and the way the world works, and he clearly explains them using different frameworks. He is quite clear and what he expects everybody to know, and bases the examinations on the concepts.
This is one of the easiest classes I have taken. Grading is not harsh and the assignments are not difficult, the professor really does try to help you get the best grade possible. The professor also gives good advice for things beyond college, he genuinely cares about his students. I recommend taking this professor if you can.
The instructor has a lot of practical, real-world experience. He brought in some helpful guest speakers also with practical, real-world experience. Material was challenging since I don't have a lot of background in globalization, but instructor wants students to succeed. The work load was reasonable.
Professor Reinnoldt is one of the best I've ever had. He is a very genuine person, clearly knows what he is talking about, has fantastic stories, and is more than understanding that things sometimes come up. The work is easy and relevant, the group projects aren't too bad, and the final(s) were quite easy too. Would take again 10/10 times.
Do not take this class. He has a lot of real world experience and is not afraid to talk about it in depth. Despite this being an online class, every interaction I've had with him has made me uncomfortable. He's an Ethics teacher he will constantly threaten you with academic dishonesty on every assignment. I wish I took a different course.
This professor has a unique teaching style, but if you engage with it, the class is very worthwhile. Use unstuck study and the free textbook to prep - it really helps.
If you are interested in business definitely take this professor. He has a lot of real world examples and stories that can be boring at times but it's still a good class to take. Final project was a presentation and we had 1 quiz throughout the class which was easy. Overall Easy class if you just do the work.
Professor Reinnoldt is very wise and inspiring. He uses real-world examples of business and ethics. All assignments have a strict, clear structure and you can get good grades as long as you follow the directions. There are some group discussions and projects, but not many.
Condescending, uncaring, and unprofessional in class and via email. Can't plan according to his schedule b/c he often adds assignments, sometimes 1-2 days before they are due. Not tech-savvy. Didn't know how to efficiently operate his class over Zoom, and we constantly had to wait on him. Threatens his students with academic dishonesty every class.
Went on his CSR study abroad program in 2024 to Thailand and Cambodia and had a great time. The work for this class over the summer was extensive preparation to learn the history of the areas we were going to. But on the trip, I had a great time and really enjoyed learning from him and people he brought to guest lecture.
Overly political and stubborn. Spends a significant portion of time complaining about Trump, when it isn't relevant to the course material. Very stubborn on grading, and takes miscommunication personal. Harbors no leniency, even if you may be in the right. Unprofessional, would not recommend signing up. Missing a single class exempts credit.
Good lecture material. If you follow instructions and actively pay attention, you will be successful in this class. Many points can be missed simply by failing to follow instructions or carefully doing your assignments. Group project was okay. Due to the nature of an online course, many people are unmotivated including potential group members.
Lectures are so interesting. Tells a lot of stories about his life and careers and travel which was cool. Lots of assigments which can be a bit overwhelming at times, but I would say doing them as soon as possible helps a lot. Uses a lot of the Canvas textbox for assigments which can make it difficult to import pictures but that was my only issue.
He's a great teacher who knows what he's talking about. He uses very interesting scenarios that he's had to deal with in the past in business to teach the class. Beyond that, he also just has a lot of practical advice for the class. The weekly writing reflections can be a handful, but they're manageable as long as you don't wait until last minute.
