This guy is hilarious!!
This guy is very easy and helpful. Willing to help at all times. Give out candy!!!! Very nice!!
Maybe the best at FSU!
Dr. Saku is very helpful and an excellent teacher. Gives a study guide before every exam which is very helpful. If students do well on tests and/or quizzes, candy is sometimes given in class. I highly recommend Dr. Saku for anyone taking geog courses.
He's a great teacher. Sometimes he is difficult to understand cause he's from Ghuana, but he writes everything on the board in note format. He also gives study guides before the exam. He enjoys the discussions among the students about geography related issues; his reactions are great.
I love Dr. Saku!!!
awsome!!
Definalty take a class with this guy
Dr. Saku is the best teacher. He is nice and very understandable. He tells you what is going to be on each exam; he is there is you need help in the class.
Great teacher!! I will take him again! Very great guy and understands the students.
Saku is the best!
Loved him, very personable and shares hilarious stories. Practically gives you the questions to each test beforehand so you know EXACTLY what to study. Take him!
AWESOME , ALL I CAN SAY!!!!
The nicest teacher ever!!
The best!
really cool guy with an awesome accent
THE BEST!!!

Just Take him. No questions asked.
I took this class just because he taught it. I wasn't even a geog major (econ/math). He's a great teacher! highly reccommended!
Such a good teacher, funny, and likes to get to know the students. Only complaint...leactures kinda boring!
The best professor in the department. You will love him!
GREAT CLASS! Saku is a funny teacher. He is always excited about the subject and makes you want to learn
A great guy,its too bad he has to teach something like human geography...
He's a great person with a sense of humor and an interest in his students, but he's far too easy, far too clear... I sit in his class and do homework for the next class. An easy A.
Although I went to his 9am class MWF, I didn't mind. His class is beyond easy, except for his map quizzes where u had to memorize the locations of 150 geographical spots, but even w/my fair grades on those I still got an A in the class. Also, he gives amazing reaviews before his tests so its practically impossible to fail.
It's an easy class for your GEP, he's a nice guy with interesting stories, he writes everything up there for you so even if you don't understand him, it's OK. He reviews the tests well too. As a final note, Good morning everyone and welcome back.
Makes classes so easy but everything will count especially those map quizzes and exams. Has a great sense of humour too.
Copy down all the notes he puts on the board. Jot down all the questions he says might be on the tests (because they will be). If you do those things you'll get A's on the tests. Gives geography quizzes, so you have to memorize over 100 places in the world. Not really that hard if you study.
class gets boring, but if you go to class and take notes you will get an A
Saku is a wonderful professor. He is funny and has a great personality.
Dr.Saku so a very good teacher,he helps you out big time
He a is great guy and he loves to teach. He is very caring about his students and what they think. I love this man and I take all of his classes that he offers whenever I can.
He is a great teacher and writes everything on the bored which and explains it. Just a little bit of reading is required when we dont get to stuff in class. Some of the questions on the tests are confusing but if you study what he tells you to study you should be fine.
He is fun and easy to learn from, but classes tend to get in a bland lecture format. I skipped 40% of the classes and got a B as a result. He's a great guy tot ake your first year as he makes the college transition easy.
He helpful and makes class interesting. If you are looking for a professor who wants you to pass he's the one.
Great Man Funny, I love his laugh
SO helpful. wants you to do good, so he will hold your hand through whatever you need. great sense of humor and tells some great stories.
Awesome teacher. He's really funny and obviously loves what he does. Tells stories every once in a while, and isn't blind to what college kids do on Thursday nights (haha). Might be a little hard to understand his accent at first, but he writes EVERYTHING you need to know on the board. Just study and pay attention and you'll do fine.
he writes everything you need to know on the board, and since there isn't a textbook for the class he need to attend class to get the lecture notes! he's not an incredibly difficult grader. study for the midterm! i got very high A's on everything and didn't study for the midterm and got a 58% and ended up with a B, not good times.
Easy Class. Has Accent, But Is Not Hard To Understand. Funny Guy. Take Notes Most Of Class. Can Be Dry At Times But Its Not That Bad. One Of The Best Profs Ive Had.
He is a great teacher. He has an accent but you get use to it after the first day. He writes everything he says on the board so notes are easy to take in the class. This is a really easy class. Just study for the tests and you will do good.
Amazing Teacher! He actually knows what he's talking about, and writes it all on the board! Its a really great class and it goes by fast
Dr. Saku is possibly one of the best teachers at the university. You can't classify him as "easy". You attend and you study, you will earn an A. Take him as often as possible. You will learn for sure and reap the benefits of this great professor.
Great professor, easy course? If you fail his course ? drop out of college! He is also open to hear ideas (even if he doesn?t agree with them ? unlike other professors)
Professor Saku is a friendly, helpful guy. The class is very easy, and he gives out study guides that almost exactly tell you what will be on tests. He gives a few hours of homework every few weeks. However, he has a thick accent. It's occasionally hard to understand him. Would take again.
he is a great teacher. he really cares about you and he will help you with whatever help you need. he uses the book, he gives great notes and study guides. i would seriously take his class again. I recommend him as your Human Geography professor!!
Saku is my advisor. HE IS THE MAN. Helps you with whatever you need, comprehends and explains everything he teaches.Ask him about Bud Ice for a good laugh.
Was my adviser during Summer before freshman year and took his class online. I literally got a 100% on every paper. Everything was clear and as long as you refereed to the book for assignments you'll ace it. I highly recommend taking his class. Anytime you need help he is always there for you and he e-mails you about everything you need to know
I took this class online this summer and Saku is great! assignments were laid out well and even though in four weeks we had tests and 2 assignments I still received an A in the course... def a good teacher for geography of North America
Saku is very friendly and helpful. Attendance isn't mandatory, but he hates cell phones. Always referenced one professor who smashes them. The tests were fairly easy and he gives a good study guide. Usually has a good story to tell! Take him!
3 discussion boards (all extremely easy), 2 assignments (took a moderate amount of work but the info was all in the book), 3 exams (8 essay questions, supposed to take about 3 hours but took me much longer, but still easy because all info is in the book). Overall pretty easy as long as effort is put in.
Dr. Saku was my favorite teacher at FSU. He inspired me to be in Geography. He was also a mentor, always open to listen to any problem I was facing. He cares about students success most importantly. Take EVERY Saku class he offers, you will not regret it. You will actually benefit.
Dr. Saku is hilarious and always has a story to tell that matches up with his curriculum. Every thing is very straightforward and the only way you will fail is by putting in zero effort.
Dr. Saku is a great teacher. He is the reason i get up and go to my 9 am because it is never boring. texts are easy if you study and map quizzes and everything else is easy too. highly recommend
I took this online over the summer. As long as you meet the deadlines for the assignments you'll pass. If you miss a dealing he's still willing to work with you. There were only three tests, all of which were open book.
Dr. Saku is such a nice guy! I loved coming to his class so much that I took an 8am elective of his. Tests come right from lecture notes, which are straightforward and easy to follow. It's an easy A, but you do learn a lot, which is how it should be. He is from Ghana and has quite a strong accent, but you get used to it.
I love Dr. Saku! He is the coolest professor! he is funny, and he makes class fun and interesting. He does not assign many ridiculous assignments, and if you show up to his class, pay attention, and get your work done, you will be fine. he gives study guides for each test that are very helpful, and he is always there for you if you need help.
i took saku's Human geography class online and it was the best class online course i've taken. He is very helpful and his grading is very lenient. He does not overwhelm you with assignments at all. As long as you do you work and participate in the discussion board, this class should be a breeze!
Saku is an amazing professor, sometimes hard to understand but he writes everything on the board and even occasionally gives out printed note packets, study guides are very clear and essentially are the tests
I took Dr. Saku for Economic Geography and he is a really great guy! He is from Ghana so he does have an accent, but I did not have a problem understanding him. There are two 10 page papers - one group and one individual. The class average was an 80%, but I got a high A. His study guides are basically the test, so study and you will do just fine!
Saku is the bomb! His study guides are literally the questions he's going to ask on the test because he doesn't "believe in tricking students". He does assign 10 page term papers, typically, but all you have to do is have the gist of the subject. For both classes I took with him, I started the papers at 10 PM the day before and got a 98% and a 97%
Probably the easiest class you will ever take in college. As long as you keep up with the reading everyday you will easily pass the test and assignments.
Amazing professor and even better person
He's a really good teacher. He gives the normal amount of tests. if you want an A all you have to do is study his test guides. He makes sure students understand what he is teaching. He's a really great guy and also a good advisor.
The lectures are super boring. It was an easy class if you stay on top of all the assignments. He is super kind and offers plenty of opportunities for extra credit.
Great guy and even greater teacher. Easiest A youll ever receive as long as you do the work and submit on time. Hes extremely understanding and loves to interact with his students. 10/10 recommend.
Great Professor, he really wants everyone to succeed in his class. DO the assignments and go to class and you should have no problem at all!
Professor Saku is very funny and one of my favorite professors. Hes a fair grader and very understanding. Hes a great professor that loves what he does and I would take another class with him again. The most difficult thing for me was the map test so make sure you use the study guide he gives. He also tells funny stories as he teaches.
Saku is a real gem - funny and thoughtful. His class is fairly easy, show up and take notes and you'll be fine. His writing assignments are challenging (and a little dated), but if you put in the time, his classes can be an easy a. His accent gives some students a little trouble, but he's good humored about it and repeats himself often for clarity
Only 3 tests (including Final), 3 assignments, and roughly 4 short current events for the whole semester. mostly just lectures, he gives study guides for every test (All the same info is the same as the test). no group work. just taking notes and laughing all class. very fun.
Dr. Saku is really funny! This class isn't too bad. Assignments were a bit heavy but he gives students a week to get them done. His gives you every answer to the study guide before the exam. The only downfall is he lectures pretty fast but he puts slide shows on canvas most times. Easy A as long as you do your work.
Dr. Saku isn't a terribly intelligent man, in general. His class is mediocre in content and his delivery is far from inspiring. The class relies heavily on three 100-point tests so you must attend class to get the lecture notes.
This class is not an easy A but if you work hard an A can be achieved He does lecture the whole class but if you take notes via laptop it wont be so bad. Also study for all map quizzes and test well in advance. Go to all the extra credit opportunities!
Very few items for credit - three tests, a paper, and some smaller assignments. But, Saku is a genuinely nice guy who cares about his students. I don't think Geog of Transportation is his strong suit, but I've really liked his other classes.
I took Professor Saku's intersession class. You'll need the textbook to pass the open-book tests. However, the test questions are straight from the book and are really easy to find. I never opened the book before the tests and passed each one with an A.
I took his summer course and there was a good bit of work. Just do it well when it comes up. I didn't need to read for the tests until I was doing them but get the e book so you can search specific words quickly.
Professor Saku is just a great guy to be around, he is very fun and will have great conversations with the class. The course is not very hard at all, the worst is probably the map quizzes but they aren't that hard to pass if you study.
Dr. Saku is a great professor to take. He clearly loves the courses he is teaching and always has funny personal anecdotes to tie into the lesson. Make sure to study for the map quizzes and this class will be easy.
Dr. Saku is an amazing professor no matter which of his geography courses I have taken. He is very passionate about what he teaches and manages to engage his classes well. He teaches more than just the PowerPoint and has a lot of great experiences to share.
Beware this GEP class is NOT easy. Will have to study for exams and map quizzes, but also gives extra credit opportunities. Exam study guides tell you exactly what to study for. Otherwise, good professor with fun personality.
I took his class online for Geography of North America. 3 Test (open book) 2 assignments which were time consuming but not horrible, 3 easy discussions. Well worth your time in the summer if you looking to complete these credits faster! Highly recommend him!
Dr. Saku was a VERY good professor! One of my favorite professors so far at Frostburg. He is slightly hard to understand sometimes but is one of the best. I would suggest sitting near the front and participating every once in a while. I would strongly suggest GEOG 104 for your identity and difference class. He also provides study guides for exams!
