Best teacher at Citrus College PERIOD! Quite possibly the funniest professor on the planet. Easy class, but you do learn a lot. Gets to know his students well. Like the others say, take his class even if you don't need to. HIGHLY recommended.

To the people with the lame remarks: Obviously you can't learn a thing if you don't ask questions. Dr. Skalicky is more than willing to answer any question you have in and out of the material being taught. If you feel that the class is borring then it's cause you make it borring. Dr. Skalicky's a very smart teacher and is quite yummy! Mmmmmmmmmmmm!

I was so sad.He wondered about my score of the test because I got a low score one time(I got high scores for other tests.)I've never been cheating. I dont know why I got the low score. Maybe just because I didnt study. I told him so, but he seemed like still suspected.I have 2 more classes until the final, but I dont want to go to the class at all.

If you want to expand your religious horizons, laugh a lot, see stimulating films and be challenged personally by an innovative, broad-minded professor, he's the one! If you're a religious bigot, don't waste your time. You'll learn a lot. Great debates in class. Very stimulating. Interesting theories; combines religion and psychology very well.

He is very nice and funny willing to help in any way he can gives good lectures and is so helpfull in studying for the tests. Some boring videos but overall a very good class!!!

Skalicky is a very nice teacher BUT he is quite unorganized which makes it difficult to follow at times. At the same time the class is great... all of the test are open book! He does really have a passion for what he does, that makes him a great professor!

Dr. Skalicky has an unorthodox approach to his Psych. of Religion--talked about spirits in the class. Humorous, caring.

this professor might be one of the best professors i have ever had. he is passionate about what he does. it is not a normal class with straight bookwork and stuff. he has plenty of videos, groupwork, and even fieldtrips for extra credit. he is awesome. tests are open book and the final was take home. take this class - the EXPERIENCE is worth it

He is one of the best instructors I ever had. If I need advice, he is willing to give it. I am still friends with him and in contact with him. He is a very awesome man.

OG teacher!! Took his human relations class. Funny and hella cool. Class dicussions are fun and interesting. You actually learn stuff both from him and each other. The text is an easy read that wont bore the heck outta u either.

I didn't even do the final or the project and I still got a B. Did earn A's on my test though. Tests are open book, so i didn't even read or study. Come test time I just whipped out the book. If you challenge his test questions after u passes them back to you, it's almost a for sure he will give the whole class points for a question you got wrong.

Funny and knowledgeable. He's disorganized. You read two textbooks and a workbook he wrote, watch videos in class, and his lectures, but he never assimilates it or highlights any of it (not even for tests). But he makes it really easy to earn extra credit. The class topic is interesting, but abstract, especially without clarity from the professor.

This was by far the best class ive ever had in all my years of schooling. I loved taking this class not just because it was easy but also because it was so interesting. The videos that he plays in his class are awesome to watch. Plus hes very funny and really holds your attention.

He knows his stuff, and is always asking the class for input. he has a very unique teaching style so you have to always be paying attention. Make sure to do all your reading and you will pass.

Took this teacher twice already..he is a very entertaining and amusing teacher..overall he is a fairly easy teacher..most tests are based on readings..from the book..so reading the book is strongly suggested..never a boring class and very interesting subject...he is also a sports fan..lol

Mr. Skalicky, or a.k.a Mr. Licky Licky. Wow his human sexuality class was amazing! great teacher, makes class very fun. Doesn't keep up with attendance, no homework. Test are all from the reading. In all, great class and i hghly recommend him.

Dr. Skalicky is awesome. Have taken him for Hum Sex, Abnormal and Religion. His teaching style is more of a companion to the book giving real life insight on the subject but his tests are based all on the book for all of his classes which he does not cover in class so stay on top of your reading. By far my favorite teacher.

Dr. Skalicky is my favorite professor at Citrus and honestly the best teacher I have ever had. His teaching methods grant the students who are there to learn from him an A. Don't miss what this guy has to say, his insights will follow you through your daily life. Psychology of Religion is highly recommended!!

Skalicky was the man. Great class, very involved, definitely take Psych of Religion. Went on several trips, teacher paid for pizza one day in class, makes plenty of jokes, and there's no homework, just a few tests, a journal, and a final report. Easy, a ton of fun, and learning to meditate was very helpful. Take the class!!!!!!

Some questionable comments, some graphic footage, lots of uneasy facial expressions throughout the classroom (LOL). Study material, listen to lectures & take lots of notes from movies.

He's a great professor. If you need help email him, go to his office hours and ask questions. He will help you in any way he can. Go to his field trips there worth it and worth a lot of extra credit if your struggling with the class. Some tests are open book which helps a lot, others you have to read your books. Overview I enjoyed his class! :)

Prof. Skalicky is such a great teacher! His Psych of Religion class is unique and unlike any class you'll take. It can even be classified as life changing. He is really dedicated to his work and makes the class enjoyable and fun. Go on the field trips, they are great!(and easy points haha)Read the books and do the extra credits and you'll be fine!

He offers a lot of extra credit. No phones allowed, he'll dismiss you. Don't talk while he's talking. He teaches for the first part of the semester then split you up into groups to teach the class. If you take him you won't regret it. He's very nice and understanding. You should not have a problem passing this class with an A.

No words can describe the experience I had with Dr. Skalicky. Absolutely incredible. Life mentor I will never forget the lessons learned and continue to learn because of him. Best professor of all time.

Oh my! this teacher was something else, I definitely would take him again. The tests were easy, he tells you what's on it. A LOT of extra credit and there's a group presentation. I took him for Human Sexuality, this class is not for the people that easily become uncomfortable w the topic. I on the other hand, loved every single minute!!

Professor Skalicky is hilarious! He always would crack jokes and make the class fun. Our "extra credit" was just taking notes during videos watched in class and he tells you directly what was on the exam. There is one group presentation and there are 5 exams. He doesn't make the class feel awkward, it's fun! I would definitely recommend this class!

One of the best teachers at Citrus, I've taken him for 2 Psych classes already and passed easily. He gives tons of extra credit by taking notes on in class movies so ATTEND CLASS & you'll get 5-10% extra credit each test at least, plus you get to hear his great jokes. Tests are usually pretty easy as most are open note and he drops the lowest score

Quirky dude. For his religion class he even says he gives everyone a B or A because he prefers you to gain insight in this class rather than a grade. It's true, it's a class that really challenges one's beliefs, and serves to only strengthen oneself. The section on Evil and the Devil is extremely interesting. The class is very open to discussion.

Dr. Skalicky's class is all about the experience. While he leaves it to the students to read and learn much of the material, the value of his class is seeing his perspective as a clinical psychologist in his "edu-tainment" style. His lack of PC is hilarious and refreshing. The tests are challenging, but he gives enough EC to compensate.

I had a great time in this class Dr. Skalicky is very funny and his lectures offer a lot of room for discussion. The material is not difficult and he reviews all the tests before hand so you will always be prepared, you can also use your notes, there is no way to not do well in this class. Highly recommend this professor!

I really enjoyed taking this class. I think you learn quite a bit! He says that you should learn most of the content from the textbook and that in class he teaches things that the textbook doesn't have. 1 Group Project, No homework, around 5-6 tests (tests are on chapters of textbook) lots of extra credit! Easy going man! Great prof!

Skalicky is by far my favorite professor at Citrus. He is very knowledgeable and adds humor to his lectures, making class time fly by. 10/10 would recommend.

Professor Skalicky is a caring and funny man. Great professor. Does offer extra credit opportunities so take advantage of those. Strict with phones so don't have your phone out during class because he will ask you to leave. He lets you know when tests/quizzes are going to be. Very interesting and enjoyable class, I learned lots.

If you like learning from your peers, take his class. Everyday was just a group presentation by your classmates on a chapter. The good thing is, he never assigns homework. His tests only made sense because he goes over it in class the day before. Take his class if you don't want to do a lot of work and if you want to magically receive an A!

He is a very sweet man. To get an A just read the textbook, most of the test questions are from the book. Also gives a good amount of extra credit.

One of my favorite professors of all time! He is so knowledgeable and cares about his students and the material he is presenting. Hes also funny so it makes class interesting. He offers easy extra credit, Id recommend you do it.
