Awesome teacher! He will make you learn the information. Very Funny!!!

Very difficult, but you do learn. I heard other teachers are much easier. The amount of information you need to know/memorize is staggering, and if you're not planning on being my future nurse, take a easier teacher.

The guy to take for nursing majors, pre med, bio majors, but the rest plz stay away. He is hard and his tests are harder. Very clear and makes u work hard for ur grade, be ready to put in a lot of time into this course

As said below, he is a difficult professor... probably the most difficult on campus, but you will learn and will surpass others in clinicals, no doubt. This class will take a lot of time, the equivalent of 3 classes of work, but it pays off.

HARD WORK!! But makes himself available for students more than any other professor I know. He is in the learning center in the eves to help students and even offers extra lab on sunday. Sometimes I think he lives on campus. Very resptected doc in my book.

Anatomy and Physiology is a hard subject..but with prof.stittsworth and all the packets he gives you..u will really learn alot!it's alot of work!but if your majoring on something that requires knowledge on this class.. Take HIM!!!Ü

Took him for A&P 1 and 2 and highly recommend him if you don't mind working hard. I learned more in his class than any other. Very helpful, always there but not the easiest teacher. If you are looking for an easy A. He's not for you.

He expects a lot from his students, so be prepared to do all of the work, and then some. You will leave the class with more knowledge than most other Anatomy courses.

Best teacher of my life. I'm a Finance major and this man did more for me than any other prof I have had. His class is hard and he can seem hard, but he does care about his students. Be prepared to work and actually learn. It's hard work, but worth it.

Incredible teacher. He gives you everything you need to pass his class and more. Always ready to help. If you are willing to put in the study time required then take him, if not then don't waste his time or yours. GREAT teacher

I took this course one year ago, and have found that I have retained most of the knowledge I have learned in this class! The hard work is definately worth it, and I believe that if you can succeed in this class, you can handle anything!

Anyone who thinks any less of this professor, is a lazy ass student who should not be in college!This professor is available 6 days a week on top of class time, he doesn't give you the answer, he leads you in the right direction, you will learn alot and retain it.

I have learned more from this professor than from any of my "easy" professors. If a person doesn't do well in his class, then there is no way in hell they'll make it through the nursing program. The people who are struggling want the exam taught, and don't want tho learn the material

If you're looking to learn the material b/c you're going into the health field, then he's your prof. He's literally always around to help. If you slide by with easy classes learning nothing, wrong class. Plan on failing later in nursing school, etc. Grades shouldn't be given, they should be earned.

Great teacher. Makes us work hard for our grades. Holds nothing back and is very helpful. He expects nothing but the best from his students. He's tough, but makes us learn and is very amusing. I look forward to his stories which puts a smile on everyone. He makes the lessons lighter.

First of all he doesn't fail the student, the student fails themself. And second, so what if his comments are 'off-color', we are all adults here and he's one of few professors that treat us as such. He's a great teacher who expects you to know your material. If you feel otherwise find a new career.

He is the ONLY teacher I've met that goes out of his way, even meeting on Sundays, to help you learn your material. Does not "give" grades, he makes YOU think for yourself and expects YOUR best. He is what a teacher is suppose to be: FAIR. He is funny, honest, and an all around good guy.

The people who left negative comments for Dr Stittsworth are upset because he expects us to know our material. This is a hard class!! He is a great teacher and when you finish this class you will know the material. Anyone going into the med feild needs to take Dr. Stittsworth's class.

To make this clear before you read this i am not a lazy student, i work hard for my grades but sometimes his tests are rediculous.. about 12 pages each! Dont expect to be able to sit around and study whenever you want to ,.. you have to do it all the time, Anatomy becomes your LIFE in this class!!!!

Forget about the negativity of what you may read on this site. Dr. Stittsworth is the best! Sure, his tests are difficult, but so is the study of Anatomy! He shows a genuine concern for all his students, even the ones with negative comments - grow up people! I enjoyed all the stories!

This was a very difficult class for me, but I really appreciated Dr. Stittsworth making me work hard to learn this information. I am scheduled to take him for Anatony 2. He knows this information and he is very helpful if you go to him wanting to learn.

I can honestly say that I EARNED an "A" in his class! It IS possible to make an "A". If you want to be in the medical field, and you think this is hard, then I don't want you as my doctor or nurse in the future! He was very helpful and I would take him again in the future.

OK everyone... If you want an easy A this is NOT the class for you. We covered a few chaps on the wkend but, if you are complaining about that I hope to God you are not going to medical school. Dr. Stittsworth is one of the best profs I've had. Trust me, I've already been to a University.

Dr. Stittsworth is a fabulous, caring, and brilliant professor. He's not for the 18-20 year old student fresh out of high school who lacks maturity and discipline. He is by far the best professor that I have had. I just wish I didn't have to drop his class. I hope you get your trike.

He cares and wants us to learn. You do need a high level of maturity and you must work very hard. If you study like you should, you can get an A, but you must study and stay ahead. He gives you all the tools you need to succeed,but you must be willing to work.You definitely learn in this class.

We have had three tests so far this semester and they were only 3 chap each.He gives a review for the test(you have to look up the material--that is how you learn!).Just because lecture time is behind doesn't mean you have to get behind.A&P is hard with any teacher-study,you will get an A if you do.

I love this class and the teacher. His stories make the lectures more interesting. What is wrong with you people? He will not hand you anything and rightly so. Work and earn your grade. Stop your whinning and your complaining and get the book out and read. Good job Dr. Stittsworth!

Very helpful and very caring.If you are struggling then go talk to him, he will help you.He is very approachable and willing to help.Listen to him the first day of class, he will tell you what you need to do to get a good grade.You will need to work hard, but it is possible to get an A.

Started the class with 30plus, now only 6. If you work hard you will do fine. If you don't you will fail. Not a bad guy. Must me mature to listen to his stories. His review for the test are the test. Still alot of info.

Took him for A&P I He is a hard teacher, if you are going into med. you will know your stuff. I didn't goto the weekend sessions for the make up work and still passed with an A if you do the work you and study for his tests, he tells what to study, you will learn and do well.

This has been my all-time favorite class. Dr. S taught us so much and let me tell you, he can be tough as nails - but that is just a front. The guy is a teddy bear. Study your little heart out and use those index cards! having a study group helped tremendously. This class should be mandatory for anyone who walks and talks. Good luck.

He made us work. He said he would teach us everything we needed to know for the nursing program. Now I am in and glad I took him instead of an easier teacher. There were a few things I could have done without, but he was more helpful than anything.

REALLY cool guy. his tests are pretty hard though, you really have to study. its not too bad if you pay attention and study like almost every night. but he also gives u a chance for xtra credit if you fail a test.

this professor is not going to GIVE you a grade, you have to earn them. Study, and do the work and you'll be fine, but I would not recommend this class on a full course load...studing is the key. He has a great personality and is very knowlegeable.

This is a hard class, but if you stay caught up on the material and study for the tests you will do fine. His study guides tell you exactly what will be on the test, and he is always willing to work with you if you need help. I got an A and learned a ton, but it is not an easy class.

The key word for passing this class is STUDY. It doesn't matter if the teacher is "hard" or not. If you don't study, you won't pass. Dr. Stittsworth gives you all the information you need to succeed plus more. I highly recommend him to anyone taking a&p. Just make sure to never say "hey you" or "stittsworth" to him b/c you'll be ignored!

I made an A in both courses. He's an amazing professor who cares about his students. He even has study meetings on the weekends for anyone needing extra help. I highly recommend him to anyone wanting to learn, and not just enough to pass the class! He's very approachable and extremely funny! I only wish he taught other courses!

He is a great teacher, The key to the class is you have to study hard because his test are hard!!!!! but he is willing to help you if you ask but you have to try , you have to earn your grade he dont give anything, You will know more than enough once its all over with, so take him and you will be prepared for the RN program

beware this teacher teaches off pwr pt. he know his stuff, but be prepared his pace NEVER matches his course outline. you will feel like you are behind. tests are hard, but he does give a study guide to what is on the test. avg test 150 quest. you will have a lot of studying. gives you tons of information and will help you.

Great prof! I learned all of my studying skills from him. I got an "A" both times, but I studied like mad. I'm in the RN program now and everything has come around full circle. We go over the same things over and over, especially in pharmacology. Don't get rid of your book...you will be refering to it often. We need more nurses!! Good luck!

Something is wrong with this professor...he made us learn, and I did not want to learn!!! I knew I should have taken up basket weaving!!! I recommend anyone getting into the medical field to take this professor…unless you plan on working in the morgue, than take whoever you want!

Dr. Stittsworth is a really hard teacher. He can be sarcastic and I was scared to ask him questions in or out of class. If you have free time to devote to studying, this is the class for you, if not, I wouldn't suggest taking him. You have to work hard for your grade.

I took him for a/p2 and relized the worksheets were alot of work but, they were the best tool to memorize the chapters. Hes not tough just getting students ready for there clinical courses by exposing us to the reality that were are college students and need to shut up and work hard. extra credit is given. I have to say that Professor Stittsworth gives encouragement to students that he knows that have the ability to do well in the class. I encourage anyone that is going to any type of medical area to take this professors he goes overboard with his information and encourage you to think out of the box. He gives extra credit.

I love professor stittsworth!!!He always has funny little stories that help you remember pieces of info when it comes time for a test. He is always in a good mood and likes to joke around a lot. He gives a lot of packets and information that are very helpful on tests, and droped 6 quizzes for the class I took. I wish I could take him again!!!!

Prof Stittsworth actually makes you work, so don't take his class if you are a slacker! I didn't miss a single day throughout A&P 1 and 2. He's hilarious and really makes the class fun. Definitely take him if you have a sense of humor and are willing to do a bit of your own thinking!!!

I tried to do well not only for my own sake, I tried to do well because I didn't want to be judged by him. He acknowledged me as someone who is smart and supported me for what Im trying to become.

Great professor for LEARNING the material. I can actually say I earned my "A". He actually wants to see his students succeed! If he repeats it...write it down! Gives out a lot of study material. Great professor! Sarcastic sense of humor, always has jokes and funny stories to make class more interesting. This man is accomplished! I took Dr.Stittsworth for AP I & II and would happily take him again. His class is fun, challenging, & worth every penny. It's a prereq for anything medical; it is not meant to be easy. The material is tough & there's lots of it. YOU HAVE TO STUDY & WORK HARD. Those that complain should seriously change majors. GREAT TEACHER!

At first he was intimidating, but once I learned his style of teaching I couldnt go wrong on his exams. There is a ton of work but that should be expected. Gives Study guides to tests..Labs are easy.. Tons of studying , but I feel confident in the material and am prepared for nursing as far as this class is concerned. I got an A!

Professor Stittsworth is a wonderful and very educated teacher. His classes are not a cake walk, but when you are going to the medical profession, then you should want to learn everything you possibly can. I took him for Anatomy I & II, and got an A in both. He is very interesting, and keeps you on your toes by telling funny stories. TAKE HIM!!

Just note that all the bad comments on here are from students that dropped out because they were looking for a class where you wouldn't work. Professor S is a fabulous teacher that keeps the students laughing...there is nothing wrong with that.

Highly recommend!Gives you every chance possible to make an A.Puts extra credit in every hmwrk,test,etc,so that you don't even realize you are getting it.Gives you a review to know what is on the test.The subject is hard, not the professor,don't get it confused!It's intimidating in the beginning, but once you get it,can easily make an A!

Another great semester with Dr. S! He is prob my fave prof of all time. Interesting, engaging, helpful, he wants you to do well and does everything he can to help you. Must go to every class and do all the work assigned. I can't say enough good things, and will actually miss going to class. His is the only class I've looked forward to each week.

There is no in between with this guy; you either love him or despise him. As others have said on here, Stittsworth does not give you a grade...you must earn your grade. He can be sarcastic at times, but don't take it personally. That's just him. You will learn from him and he will keep you interested in the class.

Dr. Stittsworth is a great teacher. You either love him or hate him, but he tells you day 1 what to expect from him. You have to work for your grade, b/c the material is demanding. I am very glad I took Human Biology with proffesor S. at the beggining of the class I was intimidated and he seemed to be tought but as the time passes I realized that he was very helpful. All his HW, quizes and Tests are easy as long as you read all the chapters and attend class all the time. I highly recommend this teacher. Learned a lot.

Dr. Stittsworth is an interesting character. I think he enjoys acting like a hard teacher. He knows his material and expects his students to learn on their own. He provides a multitutde of info for assistance. Attend class, do your work, and enjoy learning the material. It is tough but at least he cares about his students gaining knowledge.

He is a great professor. I am in his anatomy class now, and I will be taking him for anatomy 2. I really lik his teaching techniques, he gives you a study guide a wk before the test and its exactally whats on the test. Just study that and you'll do fine. I like this prof.

At first I thought that his class was really hard, but he really wants you to get a good grade and he gives you everything you need to get an A in his class. When i took him he incorporated "secret" extra credit into the hwk and with the labs. He he even gave extra credit on some days of attendance. Trust me, take him!He will meet and help you!

He's a great professor and knows what he's talking about due to his 20+ years of background in Science. I took him for Human Biology, and will admit he's teaching more of an AP1 or AP2 level. All his quizzes and tests are online open book. No final exam. Labs are a bit boring but fun. Lots of work, you'll need to study hard to earn that A!

Currently taking this Professor I have to say that he really knows his stuff. He will get the information out to you IT'S YOUR JOB AS A STUDENT to actually study and know that material. If you have any problems go to him during his office hours he WILL HELP YOU you just have to go. He does care for his students but you have to do your part too.

Proessor S tells what he expects from day one. This class isnt for the lazy students. You have to work hard to make an A. I did! quizzes are online and he gives study guide for every test but the 5th one (group test) you color and label pictures to learn and get practice packets from BB. Good Luck!

I have learned an assortment of information in this class. I have enjoyed learning about the things that I did not know of. If he had not helped me I would have given up quit the class. The subject is though and if you go on into the medical field you need to know your A&P. This professor will make sure you have the knowledge and preperation you need. Show up for class, do your work and behave like a college student all this will get you pretty close to an A. It is possible to get an A and be in Phy1020C+Mac1105.

This class is hard. You NEED to study in order to at least make a C. Don't take this class at all if you have no interest in pursuing a degree in the madical field.

This class is far from a cake walk. It takes hours of studying and homework in order to make an A. Dr. Stittsworth does, however, prepare you for exams.

Honestly the most knowledgeable professor on campus. Yes you need to read the book to understand the material, but you get out of this class what you put into it. Others do not like due to being lazy not a class for an easy A,but it is attainable if you really try and learn. Highly recommend to anyone that wants to suceed in their future profession

I loved this professor! Hes not hard gives you all the exam questions up front before the exam so you can look them up. I took him for A&P 1 and 2 got A's in both barley studied. great professor! He did take forever to give graded stuff back. He leaves the classroom all the time, so you can do whatever you want basically. Loved it.

Fantastic professor and mentor. His tests are a challenge; yet they push the dedicated student. Is an incredibly knowledgeable man, and he wants his students to really know the material. Is somewhat "hands off" and he is slow to grade assignments. His flaws are slight, and his skill at his job is immense. To this 4.0 student he is the best.

Not an easy class, but if you stick with it you will know the materiel and be ready for the next class and have a better understanding of A&P.

If you're looking for an easy class, you have no business in human medicine. Although cynical and probably certifiable, he's one of the best professors I've ever taken. He will provide you with everything you need to know about human anatomy. Studying is a must (human anatomy duh) but the environment is laid back and everyone loves the class.

If you haven't taken a science class with Dr. Stittsworth, you've definitely missed out. Those who engage and participate in class will have fun and learn. If you have questions, ask - he is a true mentor and a wealth of information and experience. He will go out of his way to help you succeed, IF you are serious about learning.

He's funny. Theres alot of busy work, such as assignments, and labs. Overall do the work, attend class and you'll pass. He's a little all over the place but if you show your trying he will help. Sometimes he will post 3-4 quizzes at a time. But if you dont mind busy work hes great.

This professor is very helpful. However, requires you to do a lot of busy work such as homework, quizzes, labs, case studies. Very, VERY sarcastic. Good luck trying to get a straight answer for a class related quiestion. But you will learn so much in the class. Studying for health care, this class is very useful and helpful. Gives review sheet.

He is a very funny teacher. Also he can be helpful as long as you ASK. The way he gives out his advice sounds completely sarcastic but it all depends on how you take it. He is great at what he does , just pay attention and take notes from your assigned textbook.

Dr. Stittsworth is not the easiest professor, but He does genuinely care about his students. I don't know another professor who actually reads every single discussion board post. I feel like he prepared me for the type of work expected in a graduate program. He will meet with you during his office hours (if you can figure out when they are).

Stittsworth is a professor who will help if you ask. Whenever I give him a question, he gives me a discussion. Yes, pretty blunt, but honesty is needed. If you are a proactive student who is interested in STEAM, then seek Stittsworth's time. He is involved in finding grants, etc. If you simply want credits, maybe you shouldn't take him.

I took him for A&P1 last minute after being out of college for 6 years on a whim because I'm ready for a change. Class is easy if you do what your suppsed to do. There is a lot to take in and I'm glad this was the only class that I took, but I'm proud to say I have an A. I'm taking A&P2 with him this summer.

Stittsworth is a hard professor, not gonna lie. If you show up to the lectures and labs, do your homework, and study for the tests (which are extremely difficult at times), you should be okay. He's sarcastic, moves pretty quickly, and expects you to learn it all in time for the tests (there's no more than a 2 week interval between exams).

Do your work, and be patient, you 'll pass. Got an A but not too easy
