By far, one of the coolest teachers. Gives you clear notes, compares his notes to the books, gives examples of test questions, and then tests you on what he taught. Every professor should do this.

He is a good teacher. He is easy to follow in class and in his notes. He really helps you to pass in high comparison to other professors of the subject (80% of students pass). He is a very straight forward teaher. He gives you example problems for review and the same problems are on the tests.

The Taylor, as he likes to be called was by far the best professor I had at Fresno State. I took him for both DS-73 and DS-123 and enjoyed both. His sense of humor makes the class fly by, and his hilarious antics really make for an enjoyable class. The class is challenging but he is always there to help. It really prepared me a lot for life.

I took the course this summer, so the structure may be different. We did multiple problems in class, with clear step-by-step instructions so you are prepared for the test. Hard because of the subject but he is a good teacher who makes it easy and simple. Hilarious too, always laughing in this class!

So I guess he made this class more difficult because he found a lot of kids cheating in his last semester. His lectures are useless because he just gives you the problem and tells you to solve it and doesn't offer much help if you ask for it. I felt very unprepared for every test I took in this class. Be ready to teach yourself.

He does not care about his students at all. He gets annoyed 90% of the time a question is asked and he spend 95% of lecture time just talking about his life and chatting with students. Almost every lecture was pointless. Everybody does bad on the tests because he does not teach and he blames the students for not reading the book. Try to avoid him.

Beyond disappointed in this professor.. I have never worried about failing a class until I have taken this course. Taylor is the best professor there is on campus. These people who do not like him are not personable people. The guy cares about everyone.
