I made a 100 on everything in his class. He gives you the definitions on the internet and a curve. It is not that hard to do good if you just STUDY!!!! I love his tests, class is boring, but so is the material.

He is a great lab professor! I highly recommend him. He is very thourough with the explinations and is very helpful.

He doesn't give multiple choice tests, but all the study materials are online for you. If you really study, you can do well. He explains everything really well and is always willing to help you.

His tests are really hard, you just have to study.. he is willing to do whatever it takes to help you. If you are struggling go talk to him he will help you. He is very understanding and very nice. He would have to be my favorite teacher even know the exams are CRAZY!!

His test are exteremly hard. You have to start studying for them weeks in advance. But he is very helpful and keeps encouraging you to do well on his test.

Thompson was a great professor. His test are based on what the Anatomy and Phisiology course is based on...Definitions and knowing how the body functions. He's very helpful if you are confused. He does know the material, excellently!!!

Dr. Thompson is a sweet and extremely intelligent man. He wants everyone to do well, it's just really hard to do so. You can't slack off by any means and practically memorize his "study guides" that are online. Don't take him if you are looking for an easy way out!

Very good teacher. He definetly knows his stuff. However this is not a class that you can just skip and not study for. You have to work at it. He gives you an online review for each test which has everything on it that he puts on the test. Its a lot of studying,but it is possible to do.

This class was completey boring. He had monotone, so it was hard to keep focus on the notes and information..rather than do something more of your liking. I recommend Gilbert Pitts instead.

I understand Dr. Thompson is difficult in lecture but he is AWSOME in lab. He lets you really early in most cases! He's really sweet just do your work and don't shoot out the door as soon as your done with the experiment!!!

If you have to take Anatomy and Physiology lab, you need to get him. Don't take his lecture class! Just lab. He has the easiest grading policy: You can bomb both practicals, but if you make A's on all the homework, you should still have an A.

Thompson's tests take a lot of studying to make a good grade. I am a good student and I made over a 100 in that class. You get the first 10% off on his exams and he helps you out on your final to give you the best grade. He is really fair and helpful and his labs are a lot of fun. I am going to take his classes next semester.

I had him for 2011, and took him for 2021, he is the best lab teacher. He really wants to make sure his students are learning the material. He is also the easiest to reach for help after class time. He is just so great at coming in at different view points on the material depending on the students needs!

Do not take him for lecture. No matter how hard you study for the tests, you never know all the material. Very available and helpful in giving you extra time to study, but tests are VERY hard.

he is a hard teacher and his tests are extrememly difficult. be prepared for a lot of memorizing of definitions and studying. he is an awesome lecturer and teacher and is extrememly difficult. he knows his stuff and wants u to do the same.

He expects a lot out of his students. His tests are vocabulary, listing, and diagrams. They are very difficult but if you study you have a chance of doing well on them. Be prepared to study a lot.

I never had LECTURE but his lab which i did well in.I watched him eat lunch alot and grade lecture tests which looked very hard but are passable if you study. if i had taken it i wouldve had an A+ haha. He knows his material. His lectures weren't so bad, at times he could be a little monotone, but overall it wasn't so bad. Test are pretty hard though, make sure you memorize the ENTIRE study guide to get a good grade.

he's an awsome professor he knows what he's talking about and has always answered any questions in class, and doesnt make you feel dumb. His tests are extremely hard though,but all you have to do is study the (huge) study guides and youll pass start studying for the 1st test the 1st day of class, and the 2nd test right after you finish the 1st

I really like Dr. T as are person but I had to withdrawal from the lecture because it was ridiculously hard!!!! RIDICULOUS!

He is a very good lab teacher. He goes over the slides the slides for a while and then you do your lab and leave whenever. The work you have to do is easy and if you need help he is there. There are two practicals and everything that is going to be on them he puts on his web site. So take him for lab, not lecture!

This class is a challenge but a challenge that is well worth the work. You will take away so much well learned information that will be very useful later in your career. He is very helpful and goes out of his way to ensure each student is successful! He is awesome and you will learn the material well!

For the first test, I studied my butt off. I missed 19 points and had the second highest grade in the class. What does that tell you? He's a helpful man, but his lectures are not very helpful when it comes to the test because it's 90% definitions. Good luck, because it's a lot of work.

Friendly, helpful in lab and lecture, open to anyone who needs it. USE THE STUDY GUIDE! If you are a nursing student you will appreciate the information later.

Very nice prof, but this is a difficult class. He expects the entire book to be memorized, and his test are not an easy task consisting of mostly vocabulary. His lab expectations are similiar, so be warned: prepare to study a lot if you desire at least a B.

Dr. Thompson is a great person, but his teaching methods are not very helpful. Study guides for tests are ridiculously long! No multiple choice on tests, just writing in definitions and drawing. VERY difficult

Thompson is a very good teacher. There is alot of material,but anything you dont understand he will explain. His office is always open. His website and study guides are very helpful.It is possible to pass even with an A. If you are not willing to put the time in you might as well no even take a&p.no matter who your teacher is, you will fail!

If there was a zero for easiness...Thompson would get it. His class is almost impossible and I would not recommend it unless this is your only class. He will help you soo much though and his class will help you learn SOO much. Just be careful with your schedule.

Dr. Thompson is amazing. His exams aren't hard if you study. It's college people, you HAVE to study. He has the study guides on his website and ALL of the exam questions will come from there...word for word. I mean Anatomy isn't suppose to be easy. but he is willing to help. Do not take this class if you are not willing to work for your grade. Dr. Thompson's test are very diffult and require a great amount of effort. The class is not an easy A and you get what you work for. Dr.Thompson is very helpful and allows re-takes. Just be prepared to study alot!

His tests were impossible to study for. There are like 300 to 400 definitions you have to learn because you do not know which ones are going to be on the test. When it comes to the test you have to know word for word definitions or you will get points counted off. He is a very helpful professor though. He helped me get a W after the W/F day.

Dr. Thompson is extremely committed to his students actually learning and mastering the material, his tests are thorough and require you to put in the time. Unless you are a brainiac, you will have to fully apply yourself. He's very fair and extremely helpful and interested in your success as a student and in life. I suggest him if you are serious.

nice class. he is helpful but has a bad attitude. boring slides but labs are fun and easy. there r lab reports and weekly quizzes online that are long but found answers on google. better at lab then lecture so if you have 2 take this he really isn't bad. i enjoyed lab way more then lecture. if you have a question about an answer he gives you credit

Dr Thompson is an excellant teacher! His tests are hard, but once you figure out how to prepare for them it is completely do-able. You do have to work hard for your grade, but its worth it to really know the material. I would recommend him to anyone who REALLY wants to learn A & P, those just looking for a good grade, take someone else.

i love you doctor thompson...but this class is insanely hard. he is a great guy but his tests are definitions and about 100 pages long.

I had Dr. Thompson for A&P1 lab and loved him! He expects you to learn the material. There are weekly quizzes along with D2L HW and lab reports but if you do the work, attend class, and study for the practicals you will pass. He expects alot out of a student, but it isn't unrealistic, for lab anyways.

He is a very understanding and helpful teacher. If you are serious about being in the medical field as your profession, he is the teacher to have. He is very hard, but there is a lot a medical professional needs to know. If you can't understand that this class is highly important to your career, take an easier teacher.

Dr.Thompson is a great teacher. He is very knowledgable about the subject matter. Not only do you learn a and p, you learn the clinical significance of the material. His tests are fill in the blank, which is difficult, but makes you learn the material. If you want an easy A this is not the class.Take him if u want 2 learn the material and apply it.

Lectures non-stop all class with tons of details. Tests are somewhat hard; you have to study for the short answer and essay. Is not tolerant of others' viewpoints if they conflict with course material.

He is super hard. Don't get me wrong, he is very detailed with the information he gives, but the tests are super hard. And the tests are the only things that make up your grade. The tests aren't multiple choice and he wants to you write paragraphs. Take him if you want a challenge.

Loved Dr.Thompson for Lab! Most labs are taught by a GA, but actually being taught by a professor was so helpful. I feel like Dr.T prepared me well for both lab practicals. He also is always willing to help and responds to emails immediately. I hear he is difficult for lecture, but for lab I would definitely recommend him!

None of his tests are multiple choice. Studying at least 15 hours a week is a must. He is very understanding if you talk to him, but his course is very challenging.

I received an A in thompsons class. HOWEVER, I put atleast 2 hours a day into studying for his class. If you don't study a lot, you will not do well. You cannot guess on his tests, which forces you to learn the material. I can say that I acquired an unbelievable amount of information that will stick with me for a long time and benefit me.

I love Dr. T. He is a very challenging prof, espcially on tests, so study. However listen to him, even when he goes off on his tangents, becuz you will learn so so much and you won't get an opportunity to listen to someone this intelligent talk about what they love very often. There are 2 presentations but they are interesting topics.

Dr. T is a man who knows his biology. Very passionate about students understanding that evolution is a theory and it is essential to understanding the natural world. He gives lasting examples that I will carry with me the rest of my Career. If you are a pre-professional I do not recommend his class. I do recommend his class if you are in Biology

Dr. T is great. He is a nice guy who really cares that you learn, but he can be a bit wordy and long winded. You really should go to every class, pay attention, and try to participate. If you don't try and you don't study (A LOT) then you won't pass. The tests are hard, but manageable. Nice guy, hard class.
