He's a nice guy, but expects too much. You have 3 exams & 3 (or 4?) quizzes. Quizzes are on 3 of the readings you did before the quiz. 10mc & a written answer. Exam has 60 terms to study & must know 12 in detail in case it's on written section. 20mc & 5 written. He grades the written portion harshly. You can write exactly what was asked & be wrong.

Dr. Todesca had very interesting lectures and was never boring. I didn't have to use my book at all and got a 100% on my first exam. The exams are usually 18 multiple choice questions and 4 short answers so if you miss something it can really hurt your exam grade. I've never been a fan of history and he made it interesting.

Your only grades in the class come from 3 tests and 4 quizzes. ID's are on tests and he looks for specific details to grade you on. I always wrote down what he was looking for in the ID's but still got points off. Write down everything that he says quizzes are off the readings but also from things he says about them. Good prof if you enjoy history.

Hes pretty understanding & easy to work with.
