His teaching is good but he has such a bad brain to memorize thing. If you told him to do something for you(e.g. problem with your mark), make sure you remind him till he is done that thing for you to get his attention of your stuff!

He's got great energy and forces you to think...even when it might be too early. He really listens to his students and will help anyone who is willing to help themself.

This guy loves class participation. So much he'll selects you. (but you can pass if you want on the question at hand) Talks alot bout himself and his work experience, kinda self centred. Quizes are short, but concise. Pay attention not to his slides but his words during class, usually great hints to whats going to be on the test/exam next.

Great prof, is fair and nice. Learn lots in the class and he takes lots of personal experiences and applies it to what you're learning. Make sure you read the chapter before the class tho !

He is a tough teacher, but down to earth. He uses many real life examples, and many of his assignments are good for preparing you for real work situations. He has a huge ego, and as long as you're aware and try to respect that he tends to respect you. Reading the textbook is key to succeeding in this class though.

He goes out of his way for those who want to learn and does not accept students who are there to waste their time! Great teacher and you will walk away learning something from his classes.

Quite possibly one of my favourite profs. He's extremely helpful, kind, and straight-forward. Makes it much more easier to pay attention, and pass the class. He also provides many opportunities to earn marks, so it's realy great. The course also requires textbook use which is awesome because it's easy to understand. I'd highly recommend him. 5/5.

I found that James was very fair as long as you weren't is your own world on your cell phone which is what you pay for anyways so to me that makes sense

I took James for professional selling for the first time and it was a great experience. James is a tough teacher but n the end he before you leave you will learn something. He is a hard marker and he will make you work in this class. This class had it's ups and downs but in the end I believe this is the best way to learn professional selling.

I had trouble understanding Organizational Behavior and James made it very clear and easy to learn. He was very helpful when needed and always supports his students. He is a very interactive teacher. He apparently is a stoner, and for a roleplay pretended that his company was a marijuana grower(he said legal one)He does an assignment every week!show up and you'll get a good mark. not a 90, but deff 80s

His tests are not too bad if you show up for class and pay attention. He is always willing to help you out if you are stuck on an assignment. Definitely take his class.

Attendance is mandatory. Good professor overall but found it strange that for our class assignment that the textbook I paid $100+ was strictly forbidden to be used for our group project.

James is a great prof. He really cares about the students and if you need help he will be there at your side 1000%. He does his lectures a bit differently but it actually helped me learn a lot better than any other lecture.

I think I am blessed to have him for my last Semester. The pilot coaching program provided for an assignment was really helpful for me to get closer to a real "definition of coaching". Coaching is not an easy course but James will never give up on you as long as you show him your efforts every day.

He is intense because he cares about your success both inside and outside of the classroom! Don't be intimidated! Come prepared for every class, and attend often because he will put you on the spot!

If you are individual who does not enjoy participating in lectures, he may not be the professor for you. But his lectures are truly exceptional, they aren't your typical classes where you attend class, listen and leave. He wants to hear your feedback, ideas, and creativity. He gives great feedback and can seem to "ask for too much" but all he does is to ensure we remain accountable for our course, homework, projects and tests. He is funny, carry and understandable. If you attend class and participate, you will succeed!

In-person classes with him are really good because of his active discussions, he knows what he is teaching is funny. He wants the best for the students but lacks in his technical knowledge which doesn't affect our marks in anyway but still he should focus on that.

Encourages participation, if you take him you'll learn about the course, unlike other courses in which profs keep you running after grades. James Voulakos is one of the best professors I had this semester, the way he teaches is awesome, he has empathy for his students and he is a very understandable person. The way the courses were designed helped me to understand and he also gives a clear explanation by taking examples from real life. I would recommend him to everyone.
