Dr.Lett is continually misunderstood by many of his less serious students. For those who apply themselves and are self-motivated, he is an excellent instructor. If you want a worthless, easy A, then you may want to look elsewhere.

Both anthro classes are easy A's. He takes points off your grade if you miss too many classes, but the lectures are interesting so I didn't mind going.

His cultural anthropology class online is a fairly easy 'A'. You HAVE to read the material to do well and there's alot of it! Some of his required reading was slightly offensive and highly opinionated. Frankly, I questioned his choice of materials.

Easy A! class is sometimes no nevermind they are boring, very repetitive!!...but the videos are interesting. I actually did learn.

Ive taken all four of the Anthropology classes (its my major) People often complain about Dr. Lett, but if you put some effort into the class its not too difficult. I find him quite funny and he is an excellent speaker.

Wonderful professor. Exciting insight and great speaker. Has a wonderful sense of humor and, though many complain, I greatly enjoyed his class and have decided to take anthropology with him. Would highly recommend any of his classes.

He's a little arrogant at times, but overall, one of the best profs at IRCC. Good people.

Great class very straight forward. Just memorize the stuff and you win every time. I personally found it very cool to learn all the capital and countries of the world too.

When I took lett for GEA I thought he was horrible to say the least, but in ANT he is the complete opposite. You will work the hardest in this course, compared to any other course. But when you recieve an A it is because you earned it. Maybe these students that have "problems" should rethink being at any college.

Condescending would be the best description of the man. Definitely has a superiority complex going on, but he is intelligent which made the class somewhat enjoyable for me. There definitely was a sense of uneasiness amongst the students and Im sure most found it unenjoyable.

Dr. Lett is the best teacher at IRCC dont let those other comments fool you. They are just imbreeders.

Professor Lett is awesome! He's funny, intelligent, and really knows what's he's talking about. His class is tough, but if you do the homework and come prepared for class, you won't look like an idiot. This guy may be sarcastic but he wants you to pass the course! I liked him alot. More teachers should have his attitude towards teaching.

LETT IS AWESOME!! I took this online geography class as an elective. It was extremely well organized; the website was crystal clear about what you needed to know for the tests, which were not hard. I never dealt with the man personally or through email, so I can't say whether he's helpful; This is the perfect class for 3 easy elective credits.

I took Lett for physical and cultural anthropology. He is very educated and is to the point. His study guide is the test and its a very interesting class. I dont recomment this class for a very religious person...unless you are very open minded

Took him for ant2410 first, then for gea2000. To get right to the point, his tests are DIRECTLY from the study guides, there's no way you can do bad unless you just dont do the study guides. Attendance is mandatory, however, but still, its an easy A or B as long as you do the study guide.

Prof.Lett will make you feel stupid only if you are stupid. Like if you think Poland is France or something.He's hilarious,actually teaches and challenges students, and he wears the best sweaters ever. Only a couple things annoy me though:his hatred of the word "like"(as in "Fiji is, like, in the Pacific"),and the whole qualifying for exams rule.

I just dropped this online class yesterday because I'm pretty sure I won't be able to make a decent grade on the midterm and final exam, given the way the questions are. Absolutely brilliant. His class was incredibly interesting and Dr. Lett was very knowledgable on the subject. Not to mention that you would have to be a complete and utter idiot not to pass. He gives you all of the questions for the tests in the study guide. He is also quite dashing in a european sort of way. And very funny.

Dr. Lett is very smart and is extremely knowledgeable of all countries (he wrote our text book don't ya know, which he likes to remind us of all the time). I would recommend taking his course if you're interested in geography.

Took him online...his class is so easy! He responds to emails right away...Just Study Hard before the Unit Quizes and you should be fine. Know the locations and capitals and you should succeed.. i deff recommened him if you need an online course

Very easy class, I took it online in the summer and it did require alot of study time simply for memorization, maybe an hour a day, but that's still less time than I would have spent in class. The tests come staight from the study guide. This class could not have been more simple and yet it was very informative.

Well, what can I say, I never met the guy (just online class), It was easy for me. I like geography but still I had to spend some time on it. My suggestion is, if you don?t know Geography at all don?t take that class. You will spend endless hours preparing for quizzes and tests, I mean ENDLESS. Also- Prequiz-one qst wasn't done properly.

Dr. Lett is a great teacher. He knows everything about the subject, and I mean everything! There's basically 3 types of classes: one is an oral review of what you're supposed to have read, second is a practice test and third is the test. If you study hard, you will get an A. It's not that tough. You just have to work.

As someone who was Horrible in geography, this class helped a LOT.. However, it was not easy. Attendance is MANDITORY and lateness is not an option. Everything needed to be successful in the class comes straight from the book, and if you study (a lot) you should be fine. I loved this class and the prof. He is HILARIOUS! and impeccably dressed! lol

Dr. Lett knows everything. Keep that in mind. He is a great professor, one of my favs. In Geography, the work load is tough and you'll be studying more than you could ever have the energy to but it's so worth it. Know the whole world, and you'll get an A.

Dr. Lett is an amazing teacer. He's passionate about the subject and pretty much everything else there is to know about anything! His classes are very fun but requires daily studying and the workload may be a lot, but it's definitely worth it. Easy A if you have the stamina and will. Highly recommended. He outlined every single lecture for you in a printable study guide, as well as put the ACTUAL test questions right there for you to do/study from. He really couldn't make this class any easier for you, as long as you do the study guide questions. I love his arguments against religion. You literally don't have to take a single note in this class.

Personally, I think he looks sexy in his sweater vests. Kind of a ***, but funny about it. Do your homework, and you'll do well. Don't think you can outsmart him though...Lett knows EVERYTHING. Don't take him if you're religious!

Really interesting, class touches on a bit of everything in Anthropology and Archaeology. I took him online so you have to do the work!! Prompt email responses, if you're into religion take a different class.

Dr. Lett is definitely an awesome teacher. I mistakenly took a generalized class with him, which cut's down on actual topics. But when he does get into Anthropology You can tell he is passionate about it. General Anthropology is a breeze.Lots of memorization though. Attendance is mandatory. Don't take him if you're religious or easily intimidated.

I don't know why so many people are complaining about his online geography class. It's called college! It's supposed to be hard. Yeah, you have to memorize everything, but it's worth it. I finished with a B in the class, as I couldn't remember every capital in the world. Learned a lot though. Don't know what he is like, as I have never spoke to him

Bio Anthropology with Dr. Lett is awesome. If you're into the subject of human evolution, he provides a thorough course detailing an array of topics. He provides a study guide and test questions. Test are extremely easy as long as you take the time to answer the questions accurately in the study guide. Highly effective professor.

He gives you the test questions in advance. This is the EASIEST class EVER! All you have to do is go to class and stay in class. Stay awake, don't leave. He's a jerk, but his classes are easy.

Dr. Lett is a great professor.I have had no issues in his class,and he gives you the study guide for the entire course on the first day.If you download the study guide,you will pass.This has been the easiest class I have had this semester!He shows films based on the corresponding unit,and his exams are a replica of the study guide test questions.

Bottom line, the best teacher at IRSC that I've taken. Is he easy, NO! But, you learn a lot as long as you show up, do your work, and study well. I got an A in both the ANT/GEA classes because I chose to apply myself. Most of my cohorts chose to complain and slack-off, and they deserved their C's and D's. Some ppl are just not college material

Between the textbook he selects & the study guide he produces & provides for free he gives you everything you need to do well. He is an excellent lecturer with a sarcastic wit that may come across as arrogant, but I tend to like that in people. Also - he respects your intelligence and doesn't dumb things down; do the work & its an easy A.

Class much more difficult than I anticipated. You basically have to study everyday. If you're great with memorization, you just may do well. However, you must memorize a massive amount of information, more than just simply identifying location of countries. Nearly impossible to get a decent grade on weekly discussion postings.

Hated him at first, but somehow ended up liking him. Extensive amount of studying but it is college and not high school after all. Now I know every single capital in the world. Useless knowledge? Maybe. Does it make me smarter than you? You bet.

Dr. Lett was very passionate about anthropology. I took three of his classes. Attendance is a part of your grade. He gives a test on every chapter and he gives study guides that give you the questions. He writes supplements for the classes, which are free PDF files and contain all of the info you need to pass the class. Great professor!

Dr. Lett is extremely clear in his grading criteria. He answers student's questions and responds immediately to e-mails. If you love memorization, then this class is an easy A. There is no assigned paper if you're not taking the honors class - just pure multiple-choice tests. I just wished he had more classes at IRSC.

Never had homework, the only grades were chapter tests. Reading will definitely help your grade, but you can get by with paying attention and going to class. All PowerPoints from lectures were available in Blackboard, and taking notes wasn't necessary.

Reading is necessary to pass, as is memorizing the numbers in the textbook. All grades were tests, no classwork or homework.
