Great class, learned so much, Dr. Walker is a very smart man!!

i think that his lectures are very interesting. Don't skip class!!! you will miss tons. if you listen the tests aren't bad

dude knows too much and expects you to as well. tests are freakin imppossible. all essays and fill in the blank.

Walker is an oustanding teacher however, his exams are quite difficult. I just say to never miss a day of his class and just pay close attention for he covers everything and is very intense about the subject matter. Overall i found class worth it to take.

Good Prof, but your entire grade is based on tests. Study for them and you'll be ok!

Very hard class but he is an excellent teacher. He really knows his stuff but you really have to study for his tests to do well. I learned more in this class than I have in any of my other classes but I had to study my *** off.

Haha well obviously your a sloth. Same as in other posts, hes the best teacher I've ever had as in actually teaching you knowledge and learning it. Its not that bad, if you just take the time to do it, I tape recorde every class, and it works prettygood

His logic class should be mandatory for all students. Some professors make you think, he teaches you to think. Just walked into a management test I didn't study for and got an 88 because of his section on taking multiple choice tests.

He is one of the most fascinating professors I have ever had. His class always seemed to go by very fast because he is so passionate about what he teaches. It takes a lot of studying, but he is very willing to help you out if you just ask.

He is an awesome teacher, i didnt think it was that hard to study for a test, just take good notes and show up to class and its an easy A.

He is an awesome professor but his class is hard so don't think you can just watch movies and pass. To get an A it is hard, but he is a great prof.

All around good guy. It is not an easy class. You get two grades that is it. Go to lecture take a ton of notes and listen to everything he says. Go to his office and talk to him if you have ANY questions. Did I mention go to class...DONT SLEEP THROUGH IT!

He's very passionate in his lectures and is very knowledgeable. Always willing to talk- gives his home # if you need to call. He gives the questions to the test so you can write out answers and talk to him about it. Super cool professor.

Not a hard class if you go and pay attention and take notes on the discussion and movie. The midterm and final are your only grades and they're both essay tests, but he makes it pretty clear what kind of stuff will be on them.

He really makes you think. He makes things interesting. Tests are always essays and that's all your graded on. If you don't like taking notes you won't like this class. Go to class, take good notes..you'll be fine.

very good teacher. sometimes hard to understand, but as long as you take good notes you will be fine. exams based on essay questions that he gives to you in the syllabus.

He is a great professor! He gives you the essay questions before the test and if you go talk to him, he gives you what he's looking for. He is really smart and cares about his students. It takes some effort, but if you put in some time, you'll do fine. He's my favorite prof so far!

Not bad professor just pay attention to all the movies that you watch and also pay attention on what he wants to look for on the midterm and final. Pretty hard grader but if you know a lot about movies then you should be fine.

He is a fairly good teacher, knows alot about what he is talking about but he gives you two essay tests that are your entire grade and you better know what he wants or you fail. I got an A but I worked like none other i hear there is an easier prof for movies so take him if you don't like work.

He is a pretty cool guy.. lectures are fun..tests will kill you if you don't your stuff.

Very good teacher. I learned alot in his class. It helps to record his lectures to refresh for the exams and such. JUST MAKE SURE YOU GO TO CLASS!! That was my mistake lol.

He is the best professor I have ever had! Not only does he know his stuff, but he's passionate about it as well. He's got a great sense of humor and if you like art, the classes fly by quickly. His tests are hard but if you study, you will do well! Even one of my friends that has trouble with his tests thinks that he is one of the best professors!

One of the best profs ive ever had. VERY good class to take. The only thing you have to do is show up to class and he will make sure that you learn it. Tests arent hard if you go to class.

This is a hard class but is very worth it. My recomendation, bring a video camera. He talks very fast but you learn a lot of interesting information. All of the tests are essay so you cant **** them but this is a great class. If you do what is asked of you the class will be difficult but you will enjoy. Dont forget a video camera. Its worth it

This is by far my favorite teacher. He's straight forward, and doesn't mess around. What he says in class is exactly what is on the test. If you go to class and pay attention, you'll do fine. He's really interesting to listen to.

dont take this class if youre looking for an easy A! you have to work for your grade. go to class EVERY DAY. tests are all essay, but he makes sure you know everything that is on it. he tells you all of the answers in advance. Hes a great prof, one of the best i've ever had. I recommend taking ANY of his classes

Always helpful, likes to pick on students, PAY ATTENTION. He has no attendance policy, but you're screwed if you miss too many classes. The whole grade is based on essay exams (a total of 5, 100 points each) so make sure you take good notes. If you don't get something, ASK. Good idea to tape this class for sure.

Take this professor! Pay attention, take notes, listen and WATCH him - he's willing to go the extra mile for his students. Easily one of the best professors on campus - learn from him, it's amazing!

AMAZING prof....I've had him for 3 classes now and have had A's in EVERY one of them. As long as you pay attention and take notes, it's an easy A. He's also very interesting to listen to and believes in what he teaches, skips all the stuff you don't need to know- PLUS HE NEVER ASSIGNS TEXTBOOKS-- believes students have enough to pay for- TAKE HIM!!

I LOVED this professor. I took art history as a cultural enrichment and this man made me fall in love with the subject. He makes the topic very interesting, and gives you facts, not opinions. He really makes you think about the art.He prepares you well for the tests and is very helpful, should you ever need help. WONDERFUL PROFESSOR!(plus no book!)

One of THE best FSU profs ever. Textbooks are never more than $15. Very fun in class. I can't say that he has ever been boring. He does not take attendance, but trust me, you NEED TO ATTEND. He sometimes puts notes on the board, but mostly speaks important information. If you need help, HE WILL HELP! Take him, even if you don't need his classes!

2 Classes and 2 A's. To get one all you have to do is pay attention in class and do whatever(minimal) homework he assigns. He's very willing to go over anything your unclear about. I wish he taught the classes in my major.

funny guy, but a big ego at times, you definately shouldn't skip his class, he doesn't take attendance but if you don't go to class you are effing yourself over. So far my best prof at FSU, learning the most from him, likes what he teaches, is very animated. Only bad thing is that your only grades are exams/tests, so you better be prepared!

Dr.Walker is by far my favorite professor at Ferris!! There is a lot of studing involved but he makes the class very interesting and you come out of class learning a ton.

Extremely interesting guy. Great Professor. Only complaint is that the tests are way to difficult for a 100 level class. More studying than any other 100 class I have ever take just to get a B.

Very intersting class.Attendance isnt mandatory but if you skip your screwing yourself. 5 essay exams are the only points you get in the class.He will look over essays you write before the test and tell you what needs to be changed.Very helpful if you have questions. Go to class, Study for the test, and let him correct your essays=A for the class

Great Guy. Will help with any questions, and wants you to learn, and be interested in what your doing. Take this class if you get the chance.

One of the best and yet most difficult courses offered at Ferris, in my opinion. Dr. Walker is awesome to listen to, he really knows what he is teaching, has a true passion for it. But it is very difficult to test over. there are 4 tests and a final, that is it. Study HARD and do well, if you don't, you won't.

Dr. Walker is a great guy. Humanities is interesting to learn about, and Walker has been all over the world and seen many of the pieces of art so you know he knows what he is talking about. If you are a science major take this class. Its a good change of pace.

Best Teacher on campus he is very passionate and inspirational. The man knows what he is talking about. If you don't act interested he may pick on you a little in class but its all in fun. Best part no text book but a recorder is nice to have. Decent notes helps a lot too.

I'm ashamed of all these other comments on here. Dr. Walker is one of the greatest professors to have ever walked Ferris State's campus. He is the most caring professor about his students. Yes, his exams are difficult, but you learn so much, and he wants to challenge his students to learn?what good professors do. He's an amazing man!

If I ever win the lottery, I'm writing a check for 100k to this man. He is the epitome of excellence in teaching. He's honest, fair, knowledgeable, cares about his subject matter and lectures like no other. Your getting what you pay for in his classes! If you're lazy and not interested, you'll fail.
