Dr. Wilson is extremely bright, personable and dynamic. He is definitely the best professor at BCC.

I am afraid of giving speeches. The class was hard for me, but he is fair and assignments were fun. If you do the work, you will get a good grade.

Dr. Wilson gets a bad reputation because he expects his students to work, to read the book, and make an effort towards making a good speech. He is very very clear and precise in his grading - and doing great on the tests and outlines will definately be a great help if you are not too good at public speaking.

Dr. Wilson is one of the best teachers that I have had at Broward Community College. He is extremely informative and bright. If you notice the grammar and language of the negative reviewers you may infer, as I do, that they are probably not too successful in their academic endeavors.

Okay... professor Wilson is an alright teacher but he talks so much. If you ask him a question he rambles on and on about something other than what your question was about. Personally, he was SUPER annoying but it was an easy class.

he can be very unfair...when we came back from wilma he expected us to present the day we got back...(member we didnt have power, internet, etc.) and the class explained that to him but he said "we are all college students and if we arent prepared to deal with college life then maybe u shouldnt be here".....?????!!!!!!...um yea ...very insulting

I thought this class was going to be miserable, but it was GREAT! He is wierd yes, and you do give a lot of speeches, but I am no longer afraid of presentations because of this class. His tests are EASY, do the study guide=get an A. It is so much fun. I recomend this teacher for anyone who dreads giving speeches, it will change your LIFE.

Dr. Wilson was awesome. Very straight forward with his expectations and chllenging at times. Do your best and he will work with you. Slack off and he will let you know.

i dont understand y dr wilson got so many sad faces! he'sgood teacher. people dont seem to want to put 110% into their work and thats what u have to do in his class. I can honestly say i actually did improve my public speaking skills with him. If you want to learn take him, if you want an easy effortless A w/o actually learning, take someone else!

Dr. Wilson is a great professor-period. I am currently in his class and will probably make and "A" or "B". It makes one doubt the veracity of a critic who claims to have earned an "A" in and then slams the professor. Something does not smell right. I bet that this student was one of my fellow classmates who is failing due to plagiarism!

I really enjoyed his class, I learned and he's really funny.. he gives 4 tests the whole year but only counts the 3 highest grades, the tests are really easy if you study, they're only 20 vocab. multiple choice and 3 short answers.

Dr. Wilson might repeat important material/deadline dates, etc. but some of my classmates are losers and have to be reminded. Dr. Wilson is a great teacher and has helped me a great deal. I have dreaded taking this public speaking class and I now feel confident to do presentations in my other classes!

Dr. Wilson did not give me an "A" but I EARNED one! I am a guy and my two friends from class earned good grades as well---one got an "A" and the other a "B". Why do people who don't study or prepare for class like to play the victim? Frankly, I would be really upset if the slackers in class were to be "given" A's!!!

Easy class. This is definitely not rocket science. I used Dr. Wilson's study guides and earned a B in the class without any huge effort. I would recommend him in a heart beat.

Dr. Wilson was extremely easy. despite what others say, he does give A's. i have gotten A's on all speeches. If he sees tha u r tryin, he will give u the grade. he actually cares. take the time to write ur speeches & u will do fine. he gives u the review for all tests & the final does NOT count against u if u do bad, it only helps you if u need it!

Dr. Wilson cares about his students and their success. My confidence level increased incredibly from taking this course. I am no longer anxious about speaking in public. Thanks Dr. Wilson!

Dr Wilson is a great professor, his tests are not worth much, you can fail all four and still pass the class. The textbook is never used in class. Grades speeches very fairly and does not make them difficult. You can talk on ANY topic you want as long as it meets the criteria of the speech. Lax attendance policy, only have to go on test/speech days

Dr.wilson is one of the best teachers teaching speech class. His test are not hard as long as you study the vocab words. He always lets the class out early and makes his class fun and entertaining.!!!!i would recommend him!!

The overall its not bad, there are 5 speeches in total and 4 test and 1 debate. in this class you are going to have alot of work to do. attendence is madatory, cannot be absent more than 4 times or you are out automaticly!! Dont take this class to early becuase he will give a W if you dont show up trust me read his syllabus.

I took Dr. Wilson's SPC 1511 Argumentation and Debate. I had fun and learned a lot. This was a great introductory class as I am a pre-law student.

This is the best course that I have had at Broward College.

I really, really enjoyed this class!

Since he grades are based on exams, Speech preparedness, etc. and not class participation---Dr. Wilson's opinion does not factor in the grade. He even offers extra credit work. I made an easy, easy A. I have already recommended him to my friends.

Very disappointed in my grade because this class is suppose to be an easy A and at worst, a low B. He grades harder on the outlines than the actual speeches. If you mess up once, you wont be able to recover for the rest of the semester, no matter how much extra credit he gives. Trust me, get someone else.

I was so afraid of public speaking that I waited until my last semester at Broward to take the class! I wish that I had taken it earlier because it was not difficult--lots of common sense, reading the text for exams and a bit of preparation for speeches. My roommate earned an A and I earned a B. I feel that my work was evaluated fairly.

Public speaking is a learned skill that comes with practice and research. It is not rocket science. Dr. Wilson's class was easy. I earned an "A" without breaking a sweat. :-)

If you are taking his class during the summer, get ready for alot of work. You will not have a life for the next 6 weeks. The class is not difficult, but the assignments are back to back. Overall he is not a bad professor.

Best prof. ever. Take his argumentation/debate course if you are interested in international relations, law, or public relations.

EAST CLASS. basic steps to pass this course:1.use the study guides to help you for the test 2.he is oblivious to the world so dont stress yourself 3. come to class for all required dates (tests, and debates); dont loose points on easy assignments. SORT OF BORING CLASS BUT IT IS REALLY EASY

This guy is pretty corny but if you can take that you should do well. Have fun with it.
