Business Calc. is a hard class period. He is just very approachable. This was my 3rd time taking Bus. Calc. and I cold follow him the best. You have to go to class everyday, no B.S. If I don't pass again, I would take only him again though.
The class is very hard, and even though he is a little dull, he explains the material really well and is always available to help you if you dont understand. I am also repeating this class and I like him the best. Good teacher.
Great teacher. He can be funny too if you like dry humor. Always available to discuss after class.
He's very boring and speaks in monotone...but occasionally will break out some dry humor...if you catch it. You don't need to go to class...do his online practices and virtual homework and you will get an A in the class easily. Very easy with him.

Nice teacher...he will help you if you need help. Not going to class will be ok if you do the practice stuff online. Emails will come around for announcements and he will respond to emails quickly. Not a number type of math...more abstract. No worries!
this is a class for all you non-math majors. he explains the material very clearly and responds to his emails quickly. as long as you go to class every once & awhile & do the online HW you'll be fine. everything is done thru the computer.
great teacher. He teaches right off the notes online so if you review them you dont have to go to class. He also gives you extra credit pop quizzes. Take him!
I absolutely love his approach! I think he is very to the point and he's always available before and after class (and office hours) and encourages you to ask questions if you don't understand. He makes things simple for you to understand and sometimes in a funny approach. He's an A++!
Makes math very understandable. Easy to follow, lots of extra credit! Wrote the text book ... very smart.
He is the epitome of a great math teacher. Take this class with him as your teacher
he is boring....but does throw in dry humor
This class was very easy. I love the way Wooland teaches because he makes everything extremely clear by going slowly step by step and taking questions. Definitely get him if you can!
He is so easy to understand and has really great notes. You'll be able to pass the test with an A if you go to class or ask question.
funny guy, easy class. everything is web-based, so you don't even have to go to class after the first day. just check email for homework & test announcements.
This class is too easy. It's nothing but stuff you learned in middle school. The test, quizes, and homework are online (as well as the text book) and very simple. He's a very funny guy and is helpful. He gives bonus points if you come to class and answer questions correctly.
easiest class in the history of math all stuff from high school and earlier wooland is a good teacher and cracks jokes from time to time..he gives extra credit questions for quiz points at least one a week if u go to class..quizzes, hw, and tests are done on the comp and are wicked easy..easy A here!
Kinda seems like he might be a robot but no doubt for the easy stuff he teaches...he teaches well. I mean the guy made his OWN math book packets. 3 chances on the weekly quiz and weekly homework. must go to recitation. 3 exams and a final. TWO shots on the exams. What more can u ask for? SIGN UP
Awesome teacher. He is alot of fun and has a dry sense of humor that makes you laugh. He sounds a little bit like Kermit the frog. As long as you study and go to class for your quizziods which bump your quiz average up a point for each quizziod then it is an easy A. I would definitely recommend him.
Mr. Wooland is an amazing teacher. He made math more interesting and easy than it has ever been in my life. He is also oddly very attractive and gives off good vibes. I would take any class that man was teaching.
I took Liberal Arts Math with Mr. Wooland in Fall '05. If the phrase 'dry, sophisticated humor' were in the dictionary, a picture of Mr. Wooland would be the only definition needed. Pay attention and don't be the typical self-absorbed drama-queen freshman student, and you'll do fine! =)
dont walk in the front door or he will bite your head off!!
I didn't go to many of his classes (still got an A), but he seemed like a competent and very helpful teacher. Although for a course that's supposed to be "practical math," he did teach a lot of things that seemed to have no real-world use (truth tables, etc) that had never shown up in any math class I had ever taken.
I never went to class and did well on the tests. Everything you need to know is online, and the class is so big that he doesn't take attendance. The material is easy, and he goes over everything in extreme detail that it's almost boring. He's a funny guy.
He explains everything very well. He might seem redundant, but I appreciated that he was so methodical about explaining things. The textbook is all online! Fairly easy class.
The material in this class is very easy. You have a quiz and hw assignment each week. At the end of every class he gives you bonus pts that go towards your quiz grades. If you do poorly on the test you have a second chance to take it to get a better grade. Dont buy the textbook you never use it.
WHAT A GUY! I REALLY REGRET NOT GOING TO MORE CLASSES BECAUSE HE IS SUCH AN ECCENTRIC CHARACTER. THE MORE YOU GO, THE MORE YOU WILL RESPECT HIS STYLE. ONE OF THE BEST MATH TEACHERS I HAVE EVER HAD. I THOUGHT HIS NAME WAS WOODLAND ALL SEMESTER, BUT ITS REALLY WOOLAND. IF YOU ARE WORRIED ABOUT ANOTHER TERRIBLE MATH TEAHCER, DON'T BE. HE'S PURE GOLD.
He is a great teacher and very accomidating. He give retakes on all the tests which is wonderful. He is also very funny in a very dry way. I would definatly recommend wooland, and if you do take him your new favorite name will be gomer.. Def take wooland he makes math easy, and i'm retarded in math..
I never went to class and pulled a b for the quarter. The tests are exactly like the homework/quizes.
Woodland is one of those silent hilarious guys. His example kept me going to most of the classes becasue he thinks of random and really funny examples and just explained everything in a lot of detail. Doesnt mind questions and is just an all around nice guy. The more you go to class the easier it is, it gets harder as the class goes on. GOOD TEACHE
Not as easy as you may think but it's not extremely difficult either. Prof seems like a nice guy. I would recommend this class.
Great professor. Class can be tedious at times, but the extra credit he gives at the end of class really help your grade.
The class is definitely easy and he explains things very well. It definitely gets harder as the semester goes on so go to class! He gives retakes on the test so its pretty easy to get a good grade and he's very helpful. Easy class and instructor!
Although the 8am lecture was a killer, they weren't horribly boring. He's a funny guy and it definitely helped to keep me awake. This class is an easy one if you keep up, and even if you don't- catching up isn't hard.
makes things very clear, may take a while to do problems, but makes it easy to learn. Attendance isnt mandatory, you can teach yourself online, but you should definitely go to class. he gives A LOT of extra credit if you do.
Wooland is AWESOME. I am awful at math and I aced this class merely because I went everyday. I could do the homework w/ my eyes closed because he explains everything slowly and to the fullest in class. I would take anything else he teaches, I made 100% on both his tests and the final!
The books online (yay, save money!) and the class is so easy you probably won't ever look at it anyway. The problems are cheesy and it's hard to make yourself go to class sometimes because it's so easy, but if you don't get something, he's really good at explaining things several different ways until everyone gets it.
The class is straightfoward and he goes over everything until he is sure it is engrained in our heads....no textbook (online) but we did have to purchase a PRS transmitter (~$50) and it is really useful in class (Extra Credit)...attendance isn't mandatory but he gets annoyed if you're late or leave early...AKA Easy math class + good teacher = A
I LOVE MR. WOO! He is a great teacher, explains everything clearly & is really funny! You have three chances to do your homework every week, so you can always get a 100% and the quizzes are easy if you study a little. You also get extra credit for being in class & have 2 chances to take tests!!
This guy is awesome, his examples are funny and despite math being such a sucky subject he manages to make you care somewhat. If you do badly in this class, it's because ur a retard because this guy is wonderful.
I LOVE WOOLAND!!
extremely easy professor...you really have to try to not get an A in this class: 3 shots at HW, 2 shots at exams, quizzes easy. what i dont understand is all these comments about how funny this guy is...were we in the same room? not a great teacher....but the material is so easy that it really doesnt matter....easy A
Strange but a very funny and nice guy. Easiest class ever and not boring at all. He's very mellow unless your talking really loud then he'll yell at you which is so funny to watch because he usually is very calm. I would take any class he ever teaches!
He is really nice and sometimes makes jokes in class. Very easy to understand and he is a very good math teacher. I failed math in high school and I passed his class. You can retake every test and you have three tries to do your homework. Overall its a good class can sometimes be boring but its math so its expected.
great teacher! went to class once every two weeks and still pulled an A.. Would take him again, and recommend him to anyone!
This class is extremely easy. Just do all of the assignments and you'll be fine. He is pretty boring, but he likes to make sure that you understand the material. Honestly, you have to try to not do well in his class.
VEry easy course, just do the homework, prs everyday, and regular testing (which i believe is very easy), and you'll get an A. He's extremely helpful, just dnt talk while he's talkin;, ...It pisses him off. And he's very mumbly sarcastic
Wooland is the man! He makes up all these weird examples that get people laughing, either with him or at him. He goes over things so many times that you have to TRY to fail. Textbook is online. 4 out of 5 werewolves vote for Wooland!
Super eeeeeassyyyy class!!! Wonderful teacher! Kinda weird in his examples! You'll see he'll constantly use the 3 stooges, werewolves, lawyers and socrates and plato. You get two chances at exams and quizzes are every week but very easy. TA's are also cool! One of them is really hottt! Recommend immensely! P.A.: save money with online text
AMAZING teacher!! Makes things really easy to understand and really nice! Havr failed math my whole life until I came to Wooland's class! Definitely worth taking!
Jimmy is a crazy guy and yet I recommend him. He makes learning this easy stuff even easier. Likes to try to joke around which makes the long 1:15 class not seem quite like 1:15. Takes the time to explain things well so everybody learns it. Easy tests, homework, quizzes and PRS.
You don't need a book. You don't need to be very smart...he's hilarious and uses references from Aqua Teen Hunger Force as examples for some of his math problems. Take this class if you still need a math requirement. He seems rude at first, but he just has a really blunt sense of humor. He won't get mad at you if you're not inconsiderate...
He's really boring in class but the class is pretty easy. PRS questions give you extra credit.
EASY!!! Three attempts for homework and 2 attempts for tests. Plus, you get extra credit everyday for PRS. Great class for an easy A (:
He is such a great teacher, I understood everything as he made sure to cover everything and was so clear! His examples are often funny and he has such a witty sense of humor! He's great, I would most def take him again!
Take him! Class is boring but you get PRS points that help SO much. Make yourself go to class. Text when you get bored and finally get it and you'll end up with an A. Can take tests twice which is AWESOME. Def understood everything by the end of class. Just don't talk during class. He'll call you out on it. Easy LS math class.
This class is sooo easy. I have over 100% because of the PRS points you get for just going to class. It's really easy if you go to class. If not, then you won't understand the material. You don't have to buy a text book! Don't talk loud in his class, he will call you out. He's a great teacher. It's an easy A.
If you took math analysis in high school, this class is amlost exactly the same, yet easier.
My favorite math teacher of all time.
Easy class, no book.
Wooland is a real nice, genuine guy. If you need help, he will. He lets you bring in any difficult problems from the online homework and does them before class starts. I am not a math person AT ALL and his course and lectures were simple and understandable. He also has a bad case of that typical math-teacher-humor which can be borderline amusing.
Totally easy, but you have to go to class to keep up. PRS makes it easy to score extra credit points. Three attempts at the homework. He's funny and clever, but it's a liberal arts math course so it's dull. But there's no text book so you save $$!
James is clever and great help. easy class and technically no final! best math teacher i've had in years.
i'm terrible at math, but i kept an A in the class all semester. he explains things well in class, although attendance isn't mandatory. he gives PRS points for extra credit every class, so thats a nice boost. NO TEXTBOOK OR FINAL(:
he was a very good teacher. He will do anything he can to help you succeed. His voice is a little monotone, and his jokes are are a little dry, but he definitely keeps you smiling.
Nice guy, sounds like the terminator, very easy. Very redundant, if you go to class there really isn't a way you can not do well.
Easy class for students who don't do well in math. No textbook. Practice questions online. Extra credit for going to class. He is funny and will keep you awake.
Prof. Wooland is a pretty quirky, funny guy. The class is super easy, and I'm not good at math. He'll answer homework problems in class despite the huge amount of students. Sometimes can be repetitive and a little boring, but Professor really tries to fix that.
Pretty cool guy. He's definitely got a Mathematicians' sense of humor but he's a good teacher. I absolutely DESPISE Math but I actually did not mind this class. If you come to class and do all the homework problems you can get an A.
This man should not be teaching anything. His class examples are easy but when it comes to the tests and quizzes he gives the most convoluted questions imaginable. God help you if you have his class.
This guy SUCKS. Most of this class isnt even math, its reasoning and critical thinking! He is not very friendly and isnt a people person. A friend of mine went to his office hours and said he was not personable at all, which I picked up on when speaking to him. The class boring as hell, with everyone leaving early n the test are ridiculous.
Mr. Woodland really is a good teacher. He gives extra credit for going to class and you have 3 chances to redo each homework and 2 chances to take each test! Go to class and it's honestly not that hard! He explains everything super clearly as well!
Excellent math class to take if your chosen major does not require math. You get extra credit for coming to class. You can re-take tests twice, re-do homework three times. Class can be somewhat boring, but he is very helpful - he answers all questions brought to him during class time.
Very easy teacher, explains things maybe even too much until you almost can't get anything wrong. I didn't go to class the whole semester and got an A. Definitely take this.
His class was ridiculously easy. He explains everything down to the last detail. I went to class about half the time and still got an easy A. If you need to fulfill a math requirement, take his class.
Looks like this was Wooland's first semester teaching calc, but it felt like he'd been teaching it for a decade. I really fell in love with the subject in his class, and he's extremely good at making sure you get the main point of each section. Would take again, really enjoyable and a funny guy.
He makes everything really - almost painfully clear. Just show up to class, take notes, and you'll do well. You have to really slack off not to do well in this class.
His MGF1106 class is almost painfully easy and worthwhile, as far as math classes go. I had him three times a week and was lucky if I made it there once a week. Still got As on every test and quiz, almost had straight 100s. You use the iClicker for OPTIONAL attendance points in-class. Additionally, the textbook is his own online creation. So easy.
Gives you plenty of material to help you with the class.
He is a great teacher and he is also funny. I enjoyed sitting in class and listening to his lectures. Even though many students do not like math, I think this class will be an exception. The class is pretty easy, but the tests can be a little tricky. tests: 85% of grade. he adds attendance points to the quiz grades: 15%
He clearly cares whether his students succeed. First, he prepares and makes available class notes prior to each class, making the Course Notes (the substitute for the Course Textbook) nearly obsolete. Second, his personal course website has "exercise generators" for practice. Third, he has generous office hours.
Easiest math class I've taken in college-part of it is because its just logic, part of it is because the guy knows what he's doing. Organized and professional, every class felt well-planned and complete. Nerdy, but personable. Tons of bonus. Tons of practice. Keep up with the class and you'll get an A, easy.
Honestly, this is probably one of the best math teachers that I have ever had. He is extremely clear and made the material very easy to understand while still remaining challenging. He gives you every opportunity to succeed in the class.
This class is one of the best math classes I've ever had. The material is simple but he makes sure you learn and understand it. Very well taught, awesome professor. You wont regret it!
Discrete 1 is an easy A. 2 is a little harder, but Wooland is probably the best math teacher at FSU. Gives extra credit for coming to class. Great lectures. Puts nothing on the tests that wasn't covered in class or assigned for quizzes. Go to class, take notes, and study a few days in advance and you'll pass easily. Unless you suck at logic.
Wonderful teacher. This might be the first time I actually don't mind going to math class. His examples and homework problems are hilarious. If you need to skip class for some reason, it's not the end of the world, but he does offer extra credit towards your quiz grades if you answer the clicker questions in class and those really add up.
I hate math and Wooland makes it bearable. Great teacher, makes sure the information is easy to understand and does lots of examples. We had a HW and quiz or test in lab due every Monday, and they're fairly easy. Attendance isn't mandatory, but he gives extra credit clicker points that really add up, so definitely go.
MGF1106- Math for Liberal Arts Professor Wooland's best attribute in regards to teaching this class is that he was CLEAR in his explanations, albeit repetitive, but it helped. He know's what he's talking about and will answer any homework question you submit. Lots of practice problems and clicker questions for extra credit points.
Gives excellent lectures and explains things very clearly. Absolutely no surprises on the tests and quizzes. One of the best math professors I've had; would definitely take again.
Not a people person, if you have to get up to use the bathroom don't because he will take it out of your grade from your participation points you will have a negative score which can affect your quiz grade. Pretty easy class not helpful if you don't understand something
Considering I only got switched in a week late and still only showed up to class about 8-10 since getting switched in and ended with an A-.... It's an easy class. Just study and do the practice problem and you'll get it
Great Teacher. Go to class everyday and it is an easy A. I skipped a lot and barely passed with a C-. Great teacher though and very clear cut about what will and will not be on the tests.
He is a great professor. I went to his office hours often and he does a better job in class than in office hours- he confused me a lot. But his quizzes are helpful. Your quiz grades are indicators of how you'll do on the tests. Tests always have a long response that becomes impossible. But if you go to class, you'll get lots of extra credit.
He's very chill. Attendance isn't mandatory. Easy overall if you do the work. Iclicker for extra credit.
Very clear and concise lectures and expectations, but you have to go to class and put time aside if you want to do well. He provides excellent lecture outlines and gives extra credit for attendance. Make sure you understand the notes and exercise generators and you're golden on quizzes and tests.
No homework, 2 quizzes per week (1 online, 1 in recitation). Attendance is on iclicker and is extra credit every day. Provides online generator questions where he pulls his questions for tests/quizzes from, but don't try to memorize, there is a lot. Exams are harder than you would think, but nothing is a surprise. Gives 4 tests and a final.
Professor Wooland makes math a breeze. The subject matter itself is not challenging in the first place, but I still appreciated his very clear, linear explanations. He has a quirky sense of humor. If math is not your area but you need a math credit, definitely take this class. It's an easy A.
The course is pretty simple and logic based to begin with, but Professor Wooland makes it even easier to grasp with how thorough he is with every new thing he teaches. I also appreciate the weekly homework assignments and plethora of practice questions on his website. Definitely take this if you're a Liberal Arts major. Easy A.
I had to drop out of Calc with a different teacher and this class was so much easier to pass. He gives you all the notes for the class. The weekly online and in person quizzes are kind of hard to catch up on when you have other classes to worry about, but they really get you ready for the tests, which are really not that hard compared to others.
This class had quizzes, homework, and test heavy. Im not good at calc but attending his office hours and using the book was really helpful. If you go to his office hours be clear cut with what you dont understand. It's really the amount of work that you put in for your grade that matters in this class, not the teacher
Super teacher!
James Wooland is by far one of the best math teachers I've ever had. His lectures are comprehensive, and very easy to follow along with. If you pay attention, it's hard to not do well, because he explains every concept in such depth and breadth. The "textbook" is online, and he also has a website for exercise generators so practice is accessible.
Explained things really well. Test and quizzes were easy and exactly like the homework.
One of my favorite teachers that I've taken so far. When I took the time to go to class, he explained every little thing in detail even when it seemed very easy. Has a great sense of humor too.
one of my favorite teachers at FSU. genuinely cares about his students and is open to answering questions. class was so easy, barely tried & got an A. basically pay attention and you'll be okay.
Honestly one of the easiest classes I've ever taken. Pay attention in class and do the clicker questions and you're set.
We were overloaded with a lot of material ... 1 or 2 quizzes in class, AND online every week, including during Finals Week. 4 test + the final exam "with more new material to study". He's rude with his students, It's very disappointing to talk to him ... you can learn more with his TA, she is polite and willing to help.
This guy is so funny. The class was so easy but you can't skip because he goes over a lot of material and you'll be lost but he's a great teacher so you won't have any trouble if you do go to class. Also buy an iclicker b/c answering those gives you sooo much extra credit.
By far my favorite professor here at FSU, across all subjects. He's one of those professors who could teach their subject to a rock. For this particular class, he offered a number of solutions to prepare for tests, online practice on his site, and thorough lecture notes available online.
He is one of my favorite professors because his class is SO well constructed. His lectures, quizzes and online material allow you to easily retain the subject if you stick with it. The quizzes and exams are a breeze if you can master the exercise generators on the course website, plus you get extra credit for answering clicker questions in class.
This course was as straightforward as a course could be. The professor was unapproachable and gave arrogant replies when asked questions. He displayed a mastery of the subject matter. Professor Wooland gave a review for every exam which were very helpful. I ended up earning 20% extra credit to my final quiz average by answering iClicker in class.
Very straight forward, but definitely show up to class to understand the material. Buy an iClicker!! I received so much extra credit just from showing up and answering questions.
Professor Wooland was a good choice for MGF 1106. If you get the iClicker you can get so much extra credit! I got about 25 points for extra credit added to my quiz average. The homework assignments/practice generators help you understand the material for the quizzes and tests.
Professor Wooland is an amazing instructor. He makes things very clear, and repeats things all the time. He makes the subject-matter as easy as possible, which is how all intro/non-major classes should be. I highly recommend him if you just want to get math out of the way in college.
Good teacher, knows the topic well. He goes slow and explains everything clearly.
I'm horrible at math and this class was very doable if you do the online practice and work to understand why you got a homework problem wrong because chances are it will appear on the quiz and test. There's tons of extra credit problems in class. Only drawback is that he's not the most lively guy so staying awake in his 8am class is rough.
Explains the concepts very well, attendance isn't mandatory but answering iClicker questions in class will go towards extra credit grade. Homework is simple and relevant to quizzes and tests
Wooland is a really great professor. He doesn't have much respect for his students, but his criteria is very clear, he does many examples, iClicker questions are extra credit added to your quiz average, and tests and quizzes aren't that difficult if you go to class and do the homework.
The class was truly easy. He was sort of boring explaining the mathematics but if you show up and take notes on how to do it you'll be fine. Attendance wasn't mandatory. Missed class for 3 weeks and still passed my final with a 97%.
His lectures are thorough and he provides numerous examples with great explanations. He has practice problem generators that give you extra practice with detailed solutions, and all of the tests and quizzes have problems exactly like the problem generators. No homework except for a few online quizzes. Also, clicker points are extra credit.
I'm not good at math, but this class was breeze. He does lots of practice problems during lecture which is super helpful and gives ample iclicker extra points throughout class. If you just show up and do the work you'll definitely pass.
Professor Wooland was by far the best professor I have ever had at FSU. Not only does he take the time to be there for his students but his lectures are so clear and concise, they make such a difficult class like calculus easy. I wish he taught every class at FSU
Mr. Wooland has a very cut and dry process to his teaching structure. He is very fair but you must show that you are taking his course very seriously. I entered his course hating math but he made it as painless as possible. As long as you follow his directives and actually study you will do fine. Lots of homework and quizzes but helpful.
Mr. Wooland was one of the best math teachers I have ever had. His lectures are easy to follow and his notes are clear. You have weekly quizzes to help your grade which aren't that hard.
Not a bad class but the lectures were very boring and it was pretty difficult. The only grades are on tests and quizzes, so if your bad at tests this class isn't for you.
I wouldn't say I am the worst at math so this class wasn't that hard for me. It is lecture style and can get boring. There are 5 tests (including a final), a quiz every week and a homework assignment every week. There are multiple chances for extra credit with the iClicker questions, just go to class! Easy to get an A if you put in the effort.
Was scared about taking this class, but it is organized so well that you will do fine if you put in the time and effort. Clear examples are given in class and lots of extra credit given,
Every Monday you have to take either a quiz or a test in a lab.
Wooland was a good person at heart; Could tell he really likes calculus. However, he has no regard for students' successes. Had a bad grade on my first exam and when I tried to go to office hours for more 1/1 help, he made me feel like I was stupid for asking the questions I did, and for my test score. Don't recommend unless you already know calc.
Hes a great professor. If you don't go to lectures, I don't think you'll pass, but his lectures aren't boring. He goes over material very thoroughly so its almost hard to fail as long as you pay attention.
I really love his exercise generators on his website. I wish I had something similar in other math courses I've taken. I found his lectures easy to follow along with and they helped me understand the material. Overall, the class was pretty difficult for me but I really enjoyed Wooland's teaching style and the help of the TAs.
He was a pretty good professor. Cared about his students and was passionate about Calc. He makes his exams a little hard but his lectures are KEY to receive a good grade in the class. There's a lot of homework, so if you consistently study throughout the week and be on top of hw, you should get a high B or A!
Wooland is a fine teacher. He obviously knows what he's doing but in his lectures he will beat you over the head with the same idea over and over again, often repeating the same sentence three times within a few minutes. You get extra credit for participating in iClicker questions but dont get quiz/test grades back until after you take the next one
This was by far the best math class i have taken in my life, He was very clear in lectures, went over problems slowly (lectures are usually 1 review problem from the previous lecture and 5 or so problems on new material, which he usually walks you through). If you sit up front, take notes, and work the problems out as he does them, it's an easy A.
Wooland gives you so many examples in class and in worksheets, tests come from just that, so you should be ready. His lectures are pretty on point, and if you don't get it, he's really approachable during office hours and very patient too. Essentially, come to class and take notes and ask questions if needed, and you've bagged an A.
Lectures every class, if you don't go you won't pass. Very confusing man, but over all taught well. You'd think a class designed for non-math majors wouldn't include hard math, but you'd be wrong. We didn't even work with numbers until halfway through the semester. He takes hw questions before every class. Hw assignment and quiz every week.
This math class is super easy if you go to the lectures. He's pretty nice and accessible outside of class if you need it. If you can use common sense, you'll be fine.
SO MUCH extra credit (I literally had 110% quiz average) by going to class & answering the questions (with an iClicker) correctly.. One weekly HW, but you get 3 attempts, that I suggest doing before taking the quiz in lab b/c the questions are the same type. He has a website that generates random questions which is EXACTLY like the quiz/ tests.
