Wish he could teach more of my future classes. Runs his class well and you know exactly what to expect. Incredibly helpful, understanding, and flexible. Has the perfect balance between giving you the answer to your questions and just saying to figure it out. Wants all of his students to succeed. He sets a standard other profs should aspire to reach

Dr. Anderosn is amazing. He is a great instructor who explains everything very clearly. Tests are really fair, and he gives a lot of partial credit and even offers test corrections. You can always ask him questions and he is really helpful. He wants everyone to succeed! Take all of your organic sequence with him. He is the best prof at SMC.

Professor Anderson lectures so fast you don't have time to even process the question before he is going over the answer. Explanations were incredibly fast and we spent very little time on complicated topics before moving on to the next one. I felt like I was sprinting for the entire class period during lecture. A very frustrating experience.

I'm so happy I took all of my organic sequences with him. He's amazing. Very organized and responsive. He wants everyone to conceptually learn OChem rather than memorizing reaction mechanisms. He is not easy, and his exams are difficult, but he gives a lot of partial credit and does everything in his ability to help you. Go to the office hours!

His willingness to be helpful outside of class is incredible (take advantage of the discussion board). You can guarantee he will put questions on exams/quizzes that are directly related to his h.w./prep suggestions. The only challenge is putting in the work outside of class (lot of time).Preview chps b4 class.

Prof Anderson is hands down one of the best teachers I've taken. He lectures straight off the book, which makes it easy to know how to prepare and quiz/test expectations. O-chem is a difficult course but Prof A knows how to make it enjoyable and even do-able. No excessive mechanism memorization and quiz/tests are extremely fair with extra credit.

The class itself isn't hard if you put in the work, however it's very time consuming and there is ALOT you need to know. Professor Anderson is amazing and is very understanding. Do not be afraid to reach out if you're struggling or need extra time for an assignment. Ochem is scary but he made it very doable!

Dr. Anderson is a great professor, I worked really hard in this class but he makes things really clear, yes organic chemistry is stressful but this class sets you up to do well if you work really hard. Homework suggestions were a bit excessive but other than that I really learned organic chemistry really well from him.

I did my bachelors in Biology in 2018, which required a year of organic chemistry, at a top-5 California university. I took Chem 24 because I desperately needed to refresh my lab skills and Ochem knowledge. I genuinely believe Prof. Anderson's course was superior in EVERY way, and he made the lectures and experiments so easy to grasp...and fun!

I took one year Ochem sequence with Dr. Anderson. He is best STEM professor I ever met, not only in community college but including university. Of course it was difficult so don't expect easy A, this is an ORGO. You will never meet person like him so go take him. Make his retirement as much as late possible!!!

This Professor won't bump your grade up even by 1%. I wouldn't recommend taking this Professor. He expects you to come into this class knowing everything already. He was cool on the beginning then turned. Gives way too much homework, and is very homework and test heavy.

Would 100 percent recommend him. Was very kind . Never mad when I asked him a question. Every time I needed extra time on an assignment, he would smile and say yes. Would let me redo labs for more points and you didn't need to attend lectures. Honestly if I tried a little more I would have easily been able to ge an A, so my grade was deserved.
