Jamie is an awesome professor and soooo adorable. Whenever you have a question, no matter how stupid, she'll answer it and not make you look like an idiot. She gives a few assignments throughout the semester so those are important to do. Don't worry she's not a hard grader. Exams are super easy. Based on lectures and ppt. Great professor

This is thankfully gonna be anonymous, but, Jamie's really understanding when she herself makes mistakes. I came out to her as nonbinary and she made sure to teach respectability of that in class and use my pronouns. Aside from being a sweetheart, you get all the notes on powerpoint - read them twice, study a bit, and you'll pass easily!

I LOVE HER! She truly wants everyone to do well, just participate. Lectures war 3 hours on a FRIDAY MORNING but i loved going to class. 3 hr lecture felt like 45 minutes. Reviews before every test, i never studied but showed up to every class and the reviews and got above a 96 each test. 2-3 essays that were a page long and super easy. TAKE HER!

Made up get into small groups from time to time, but it was fun because she made us feel comfortable giving our opinions on stuff; unlike other professors who think they're always right LOL. One of the best professor in qc. If you go to the class and try to understand the materials, you should be fine. she's GREAT! Make sure u show up to class because she says lots of things that aren't on the slides. We took three exams (not cumulative). She gives study guides and a day to review for each exam. She's super sweet and gave lots of extra credit options. I highly recommend her! You should also participate because she gives those who do extra credit.

She gave 3 tests and 3 extra credit assignments. 1 essay during the semester. Barely took attendance. If you show up easiest A, don't show up, just do the review sheets and study them. Textbook is mandatory but its in the library.

Her class is amazing! She is so nice and caring. Her class is so interesting. Only thing I did not like was that the class was 300 people and when we discussed articles, it was like she expected everyone in the room to participate, and if they didn't, she would give a pop quiz. If you want an easy A, all you have to do is take 3 easy multiple choice exams. This class was super easy. Professor Schulman explains everything with clarity. The only cons are that she wants people to participate, which makes the lecture go by slower than it already does. Other than that, I'd definitely recommend.

TAKE HER! she is a sweetheart. She explains the topic well, and also reviews the previous day topic at the beginning of her lectures so if you couldnt write down notes in last class, you will have a chance next day. TAKE NOTES IN CLASS, whatever she talks about in her class and ppt slides are usually on the exams, and the final is non-cumulative.

The class consists of three tests and an extra credit assignment for each one. Since the class is a huge size she finds a way to include attendance and mark participation. She's a very nice professor, she cares for the students and answers nearly all the questions people ask. She gives work that is clear and understandable and allows lets you know what will be on the next exam so you can study those topics specifically. Offers pretty easy extra credit on every exam which also helps a lot!

First time taking an online class; attendance is not taken but I attended every single class (she records the lecture for you to watch late) More importantly NO home work and tests are literally based off slides* Recommend to attend class- she will tell you EXACTLY what will be on the test and answer ALL questions. Loved her! & Extra Credit was fun

As long as you are present in class and you take good notes of everything then you should be fine. There is a couple of readings to do and she provides a little extra credit assignment. Overall, this class was good.

The class is only 3 exams and they're very straightforward questions. She's also very nice and as big as a class of 400 students, she tries to read all the comments on lectures to keep the class engaged. I really recommend this class.

You're only graded by 3 tests, and she expects you to read the readings on your own time to be prepared for class discussion. She likes participation too! Super nice prof. She grades only on three tests. Listen closely to what she has to say because she will incorporate outside notes that aren't on the slides. They will be on the test so you want to pay attention to what she's saying. She assigned 3 extra credits which was helpful. Only homework assignments would be to read texts which wasn't often.

If you have the chance, don't even question it, just take her. Trust !!! no writing hws. Your participation gives you extra credit. Her class will save you from so much stress and mental pressure, she understands that we already have too much hws to do. She's also very loving and caring with one of the nicest smiles in the campus.

I loved her. Everything was so organized. No discussion boards too (thank god). No phones. Don't listen? prepare to be called out. 3 exams which make up your whole grade. Extra credit oppt. to boost you exam score. Non-graded reading hw which are discussed in class. Many people skipped out on it which annoys her, so do them! They're on the exams.

During the summer term, I attended this course. I advise everyone to take Professor Jamie because she is patient and does her best to assist each and every student. If a student has questions, she will repeat the material several times until they understand.

Just a really boring class. nothing against her but unless you actually pay attention to what she says you wont know anything. she appreciates participation but doesn't require it grades solely on tests

So far my experience the professor has been great. She is very patience and gentle when she speaks. Just show up and participate if you want. She gives very few homework(it's extra credit assignments up to 3 for all exams for 5 extra points). She even curves your exams as well. I would definitely recommend her for SOC 103!

Jamie was a super easy professor and interesting class. You're graded off 3 exams, first 2 being 33% of your grade each and the final being 34%.

She is very chill when grading test, little to assignments and test are extremely easy because she gives a review about exactly what she's gonna put on the test. Overall very calm and caring teacher, easy A in my opinion its just a few lock ins here and there and you're set for success in this class
