She is the best professor on the face of the earth. Very sophisticated yet modest, not an easy marker, but teaches very well, very resourceful. Her classes are always fun, and the time flyes. You should do your work though, but you'll feel very rewarded by her.

Prof Zeppa is one of the best teachers in Seneca. She definitely made my EAC150 class enjoyable. I would say it shouldn't be a problem to get a A in her class as long as you do all your assignments on time . Overall she made english much less boring and more bearable.

she's a really gud teacher and would always help...but the problem is the subject EAC150 is hard and above that she's a hard marker......

she might be a good teacher for native english speakers but for people whose enlgish is second language..then she is not so good...you will be end up with getting just passing marks.. no matter how hard you work....

Funniest class I ever had! She is the funniest professor you can have in Seneca. She's fair, to everyone, no matter English speaker or not. As long as you get your work done, and take the notes, A is not a problem. She is very helpful and nice if you ask questions.

Hard marker

she is wonderful. Her class discussion is very clear. but to do good in exam you have to be in the class. eventhough i believe she is a very hard marker. but she is totally awsome.

Out of all the PROFS at SENECA she is probably the one of the few that will stick out to me. She talks to students like she is their friend. She explains everything really clearly. SHE IS SO FUNNY! Like I never once felt like I was in class thats how entertaining her classes are (and for someone who hates school as much as me) HER CLASSES WERE SICK

Humour Class - a 1 of a kind prof who speaks to students at the student level. Carries the class perfectly with great integration of jokes, slides and an abundant of films. Do the work, go to class, and participate in discussions and she will mark you accordingly. GREAT PROF. A+++++

Excellent teacher, extremley engaged into her lectures. Very clear on what she expects and it will show in your marks. Shes a little picky with grammar, but other than that shes a GREAT prof!

Very Nice and very helpful. She explains class content clearly and states what she want you to write on your assignments. Just follow her instructions to get your B+ or higher.

No walk in the park! She rarely gives students anything higher than an 80% on essays. She's very insightful, humorous, and relatable to the student; she cares about the success of students and is willing to go the extra mile for them (but only if you are willing to go the extra mile yourself).

Amazing teacher, Amazing Class! This class is extremely fun and Jamie is very respectful and engaging. I would highly recommend this class as a gen ed and Jamie as a teacher. Attendance is extremely important since material is only covered in class and you'll need to take notes for tests and exams. No text book only online and handout.

She is AWSOME. She is better explainer than the author of the textbook we use. You dont have to buy the textbook, cuz if you go to every class and take notes, you will be on a good track throughout the course. Shes the BEST

Best englihs class!

The Best teacher for the SES218 Humor course. Loved attending her lectures, she is very insightful, friendly and laid back. She has a sense of humor & encourages open class discussions. She doesn't force people to speak. This course is EASY if your are a NATIVE English speaker. Lots of TV & pop culture references. NOT for International Students!!

Awesome Teacher! Loved every minute of her class. I highly recommend this class. It is a literature credit so there is a bit of reading/writing involved but not an excessive amount. Jamie is very friendly, funny and always engaging. She is very laid back and accommodating. I feel like I gained a lot from having her for a teacher. Attendance a must

I took this class because I really wanted to have Jamie as a teacher. Again. I knew nothing about mythology when I started the class but now I find it very interesting. Attendance and good note taking a MUST. Great class and one of the best teachers I have ever had. She is always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend taking this class

Professor Zeppa is a great teacher. She explains the lessons very well. I am currently atending her SES285 class: Transformation of Myths Through time. She is very helpful and always encourages class discussion. Attend her classes because that is where you get most of the materials for the tests and the exams.

Jamie is a very helpful, kind and funny professor in her class. She is one of the best professors I have ever had. I learnt a lot about North American comedy, including humor techniques. She has a lot of enthusiasm and patience to us. When we have questions about class's lecture, she always explains to us in an easy way. SES 218 is a good choice!!

I dropped this class after before midterm. She is a great teacher and brings student interests to class, and I enjoyed attending a class. However, she has certain standard of her class, it is very hard to get a okay mark( I just wanted B..) if you are not good at grammer. Three of my internation students worked hard, but all friends got C and C+.

I can't say enough good things about Jamie. She literally is one of the best professors in this program!! She brings the material to life, she's helpful, provides fantastic feedback and is easily accessible. Honestly, you'd have to be actively slacking to fail her class. I'd recommend her for anyone and after I graduate I'm coming back to visit!!

If you can have Jamie Zeppa as your professor, your really really lucky. Because it was summer semester, I only had her for half of the sem, and I am really sad that I only got to listen to her lectures for just half of the sem. She is clear, helpful and caring. Ms. Zeppa was my ENG150 prof. 6 years ago. She utilized a lot of pop culture to help students better relate to the lectures but takes grading seriously. - Expect a healthy portion of engaging class discussions/debates. - Although lenient with due dates, expect to be appropriately penalized. - Helpful inside and outside of class.

I have had Jamie for EAC-100 and always thought she was amazing! She is a great professor and really knows what she is doing! I would most defiantly take her class again.

Jamie is so warm and funny, she's approachable and her lectures are more like discussions because she encourages everyone to talk about the books we've read. Lectures are very helpful, attend them as much as you can because she explains concepts well. Overall a great prof and better person

Jamie Zepps is an amazing professor, this is my second time taking here at Seneca Newnham and I must admit she really cares about her students. She actually helps you understand whats going on with anything, she is so quick to respond to emails as well. Most defiantly take her again, i recommend her to all!

You already know how it is, my home girl Jamie kills it in the lectures. Her classes are packed with lit materials, each activity we do is straight fire. Jamie slays any other prof you ever had, 100% trust.

Zeppa is a fabulous professor who is down to earth and keep you listening to her lecture. You can converse with her so long as you are into politics. She tells you exactly what to do so you should not fail, however, if you so fail its because you either don't care to pass, or you did not show up to class so you were lost.

Jamie Zeppa is the GOAT. No debate. Any class that she teaches automatically becomes a must-take because she teaches it. Jamie is the best prof I've had at Seneca Newnham by a country mile. i cant begin to describe how Jamie has changed my life when it comes to reading and writing, truly truly gifted and is one of the best professor around. Jamie is respected, and she actually cares about her students.

I have had Jamie for EAC150 and YKL200 and she is an amazing professor. She deconstructs the reading very well and her lectures are entertaining and inspirational. She is very caring towards her students and wants to help the succeed. Just show up to lectures, study for quizzes, and do the assignments properly and you will get a 70% or higher.

Jamie is of the best teachers Ive had in my life. She really cares about her students and she is very approachable after class. However, she is a very hard maker and gives a lot of assignments. You have to put in a lot of work to get a good grade with her.

Jaime is awesome. She is tough marker only because she wants you to improve your writing skills. She's very engaging, thorough and clearly enjoys what she does. She's sympathetic and will always help you when in need.

Jamie is a great professor. Her assignments are interesting and make you think. Her feedback is really helpful. She is also really forgiving, and will let you hand assignments in on a different date if you discuss it with her beforehand.

very nice professor, loves doing lectures and makes them fun. a lot of writing work but its not very hard to do. she does a lot of weekly readings that can be boring but the class discussion is a nice touch. She can be a bit of a tough marker but using her feedback helps a lot.

Jamie was an absolute gem as a professor. Her lectures relied on presentations with concise information while she verbally elaborated on them, often adding examples or explanations that were hilarious or easy to understand. Although she can be a hard marker, she is incredibly laid back and is easy to approach. Me and some friends still talk to her.

I currently have her as my prof and her lectures are amazing, I honestly enjoy her classes. She's also flexible with her due dates. She gives weekly readings though, but hey it's college! I will take her again if I can lol.

I had one of my major assignments delayed by a month - extension on extension, due to mental health issues, she was very understanding and I got an 80% on that.

Seneca struck gold when they hired Jamie Zeppa. She is compassionate, understanding, intensely passionate about her work, and a pleasure to learn from. Professor Zeppa made this class fun. There is a decent amount of reading to do- mostly articles. Professor Zeppa makes the guidelines clear and provides examples. She's funny and tries to engage the class. Attendance is not mandatory but it is best if you attend class. Professor Zeppa gives many quizzes based off of the weekly articles.
