I took her class this present semester 2009/101 and she is the best I've had so far. she really is interesred in her entire class succeed and pass the finals. She is an interesting lady and anyone taking her class will feel the same way. She is definately recommedable anytime.Fun, caring and always offer to help. By email she is good.

Professor Stahl is absolutely wonderful! She's not to strict at all on her students, and basically if you fail her that's because you failed yourself!! One of the best professors from bmcc... She is helpful, funny, and down to earth.. She lets you revise essays as many times as you need to to get a high grade.. Great professor. She helps you with everything you need. Every class she lists the goalsobjectives for the day and what you will be doing for next class. Only 3 essays. You can revise each paper once but you can visit her during office hrs for more help b4 submitting. Great once again. You can't go wrong. Take her ! & she's funny to.

Professor Stahl is super nice and funny. 3 essays and 6 informal short writings, 1 extra credit informal writing. Essay's topic are easy while comparing to other English professor's. Attendance matters, participation matters. But it is easy to get these points. I enjoy her class. Love her so much.

the class is easy if you do all the work. the attendances matters, 3 essays and you can revise the first draft, 6 informal writings and she gives you one extra informal writing for the extra credit. the participation matters but don't worry if you don't participate. easy a as long as you come to the class, participate and finish the essays.

Stahl is very polite professor and she extremely care about for her student. I would take her again for higher level ENG course. I did learned how to write good research paper essay. Stahl is a very outgoing professor who cares about her students success. She will give you the opportunity to make up your grades or any assignments as long as you you're whiling to do so. No final exam, just had to do the Research Essay that counts as a "final exam". I would definitely recommend her!!!

She is an amazing professor. she only gives 4 essays throughout the semester. she even gives you some sources to use for the essay if you choose to use and the readings are done in class. she gives extra credit and allows you to make corrections to essays to get higher grade. shes funny and a caring professor

Her class was great, all you have to do is read some short readings and do a paragraph (or two) response to the reading and 3 essays. She offers chances to revise all 3 essays for a higher grade. Prof Stahl is top 5 at BMCC! She is very charismatic and intelligent. She give three essays and some writing responses and lets you revise the essays after she gives you a grade. Of course you get the better grade. Show up, pay attention, and pass.

I sucked at writing and could not even pass ESL 95 class 6 times. I am a math guy and with her help pointing on the exact repeated mistakes and how fixing them. She lets you rewrite the paper and if its worse, she selects the best grade. Professor Stahl gives out a course handbook so you don't have to purchase anything. Simply come to class.

Professor Stahl is an excellent English professor! I took her two classes for ENG101 and ENG201. It is enjoyable to participate in her class. The essays will not bring any pressure on you. And she loves to relieve burdens for students and lets students enjoy discussing and writing.

Took Fall 2022. She is great! Textbook was short story's that were interesting and only $7! Funny and passionate, allows redo of essays.

Professor Stahl is patient, kind, and hilarious. Majority of the readings are interesting and you're only graded by a few things. However, do not get complacent and stay on top of your work.
