She will, however, do all she can to help you if you do (as she says) 3 things:Go to class missing only 3 days, only miss 2 of random HW checks (which is assigned daily), and study hard. She does not give you the tests to keep 4 final.

Mrs. Workman is a great teacher. She is very helpful and is will do anything to make sure that you understand what she is going over. Accounting is just a hard subject to learn but she makes it as easy as possible.

Great person but a very tough professor. Her tests are not easy by any means and if you want an A you might have to get a tutor. Study hard for this class and dont be afraid to talk with her because she is very easy to work with and she is very understanding.

Ahhhh... Hardest class I have taken yet. I took the class online and it was diffcult. Nice person, but hard class. The failure rate is pretty high from what I hear. I recieved a B in the class, but it was no picnic.

Great teacher, but online class is not for ppl that want the "online" experience. The tests are tricky, and you will get lost. They also count for 90 percent of your score, so if you do bad on your three tests, you fail! Hate that percentage rate, but great person. Take it in class if possible.

Accounting is hard. She is helpful and is always in her office. Tests are real hard. Final wasn't though. A couple quizes and there is a homework grade but if you just scribble something down you get 10% of your grade. She's nice just a hard course and an awful textbook. I worked my butt off and barely got a C

Awesome teacher! Makes sure that you understand what she teaches. Study guides are great! Lists exactly whats on the test. Do the homework, she only grades on effort, plus it counts as 10% of your grade. It's easy to get 100. Exams are a little confusing as far as how they are worded, but she is always willing to explain. Awesome teacher!

She is a very nice and helpful teacher. Homework and attendance helps your grade alot. Just pay attention and study and you will do fine. Final exam is multiple choice and work out problems.

This is a very easy class. But you do have to put in effort to do well. She explains the material very well, and will go over it multiple times until you understand it. The tests are multiple choice and she gives you a study guide for each one. Extra credit opportunities do exist.

She is an amazing acct teacher. I failed it with another teacher and then took her. I'm in her class now and i'm doing a whole lot better! Shes also very nice and helpful. Acct is a hard class and shes tried her hardest to make it easy! TAKE HER!

Mrs. Workman is a very sweet lady! I would DEFINITELY recommend her. She is very willing to help and her teaching style is pretty easy to follow. Attendance isnt mandatory but it helps if your grade is on the fence..she'll move it up if you go.She tries to make accounting, which is just a hard subject no matter who teaches it, fun and interesting.

I made a D in a prior Acct 2401 class but when I did my grade replacement I took Mrs. Workman and she made things so clear and easy to understand. She grades homework on effort so it's an easy bonus points for your grade. I would definitely reccommend her to everyone!

Definitely take her!!! She willing to work with anyone who really tries. Homework and quizzes are cake walks being that the online p.point shows you how to do it. Test aren't easy but not extremely hard either. If you do the Homework and study the p.points you'll be fine.

Easy class, all you do in class is go over homework, she's nice and will help you as long as you do the work and go to class.

Really good teacher. She assigns MyAccountLab homework the day before you go over it, but that isn't hard to get 100's on. Loves her line of work and she is very sweet. Works well with her students. No extra credit but you shouldn't need it.

If you have to take accounting, TAKE MS. WORKMAN. She is the best, I am terrible at math and accounting but she breaks it down and moves at the pace the class is learning at. She has office hours and is very nice, she never made me feel stupid for asking questions like some teachers. She is a parent herself and WANTS you to do well. RECOMMEND!

I'd say by far the best teacher for ACCT 2401. The material gets difficult but she presents it in a way that is clear and comprehensible. Definitely one of those teachers that the school should never get rid of.

I am not an accounting major, nor am I good at math so I was nervous about this class. Mrs. Workman gives a relatively easy explanation for the material though. Best advice is go to class and take very good notes. She is so nice and really does want you to understand and succeed.

I have never classifies myself as someone who is good at math, and while this class was not easy Mrs. Workman made the information easier by making it relevant to real life. The text book is used a lot in class which is help, but make no mistake to pass this class going to see Mrs. Workman outside of class is imperative.

JWork is awesome, sweet, and funny. Very good teacher who loves to help her kids, the class is very demanding-3 hours of HW a day, and the work is very tough. She tries to help as much as possible, be genuine, try, don't miss class and she will help you. I am not good at acctng but got a B-. Best teacher at ECU IMO

Workman is an awesome professor. She encourages any questions. I think she explains financial accounting very well. The homework is on MyAccountingLab, and she goes over it in class before its due. Currently about to finish this class and I will say that it's a really tough class. If you pay attention, take good notes, and study a lot before tests you maybe will do fine. It's not that the professor isn't good, it's the fact that accounting is hard in itself. If you take this class make sure you go to class, do the homework, and study.

First, l I had no knowledge of accounting but I quickly learned this was not gonna be an easy class. She is straight forward about her expectations on day one of class. You will have about 10-12 graded homework. She also gives practice. First 3 chapters are critical to understand the rest of accounting. Basically don't be lazy & just do the work!

I had to retake acct 2401 so I switched professors and Professor Workman is AMAZING. Haven't gotten lower than a B on a test yet. She explains things really well and will sit there and explain things to you over and over again until you understand it. She also gives study guides and practice questions. Do the questions and you'll pass the test!

Noncumulative exams that require a lockdown browser. You can tell Professor Workman really cares about her students and their performance. Do the homework and practice homework, she tells you what to expect on the exams broken down by chapter. Homework can be timely so plan ahead, no extra credit is offered. Study and you'll do fine.

HW isn't too much, but also a lot because it is all done through McGraw Hill. Time consuming, and the assignments/quizzes are hard. Definitely use the professor's resources/lectures if you want to make this class easy on yourself. Tests are all lockdown with camera on. Wouldn't take this class if not required unless you enjoy reading and math.

Workman's ACCT2101 class is demanding, but she cares about student success. The assignments and exams with lockdown browser are challenging, but her resources and lectures are very helpful. Unstuck AI and the textbook are great study tools to ace this course.
