Her class is very interesting. She does activities throughout her PowerPoints to keep your attention. Tests are average, not super easy but not difficult. She is always willing to help you with papers and projects. I recommend taking her!

Attendance isn't absolutely mandatory, but you receive participation points for going to class and doing the activities. Her exams are kind of tricky, but pretty short. Her lectures are really interesting and she makes going to class fun becauase her powerpoints and lectures aren't boring. There is one huge group project.

She is a wonderful professor. I would highly recommend taking her for this course. She is very helpful and you will learn a lot!

Awesome class. Dr. Craft makes the class interesting. Participation points for attending class. One big group project. She gives an outline for all class notes. You don't need to read the entire book to do well on the exam. Just go over in class notes and glance at the sections in the book that you focused on in class. If you try you will do well.

The book was necessary in this class because she assigns things from it. The readings are not boring either. Her powerpoints in class are simple as well. Just pay attention in class & you'll be fine!

The class was very interesting. She used the textbook version of powerpoints but clearly stated what you needed to know. She gives you pre-made templates for notes which is awesome! The book was unnecessary in my opinion. I still received a good grade just by paying attention in class. Group discussion is big during class. Highly recommend her!

Craft is a great professor, if you get the chance to take a class with her, do it. She takes a semi-boring subject and makes it fun and interesting. You also learn a lot from her class. She is always willing to help students understand the material and do the best they can. One of my favorite professors I've had in the three years I've been at WSU.

Go to class to get participation points. She makes class fun by telling stories. You have to do 3 research papers, which i was worried about because i suck at normal papers and i got B's and an A on them.

Jana is a great teacher. Ive had her for every class I possibly could since freshman year. She is one of the most down to earth REAL professors you will take. She likes to assign group projects and class attendance is graded. Most students who try and put in the needed effort can get an AB. Her classes always fill up fast so sign up asap.

Craft is a great professor! This was an online class, so the schedule was pretty flexible. There were a few discussions, assignments, exams, and a research paper (writing intensive class). She expects a lot from her students, but in a good way. I would definitely say she is one of the best professors in the business department!

She makes the content and the class interesting, and it's very well organized. Assignments are known well in advance, and you always know where you are grade-wise. The class is writing intensive, but I feel like she grades very fairly.

Jana Craft is one of the best professors I've had at WSU. She knows how students are, so she makes the lectures interesting and is realistic with grading. She's funny and knows the material very well. I took this class with a different professor and had to withdraw because it was so horrible. I would recommend her to anybody!

I would definitely take it in class rather than online. I took it online and didn't get as much from it as I would have if i i took it in class. Very reasonable grader and is there to help you succeed. Great professor

Take ANY and every opportunity you are given to have Jana as your professor. She has not only taught me a lot about business but also the working world in general. Jana has inspired me through her stories and conversations. Her lectures are actually interesting and always helpful. You NEED to study for the exams.

I adore Dr. Craft and I so respect her experience and advice. At the end of the class, definitely ask her a lot of future questions, or whatever else you want during her Q&A class. For the class itself, attend every class to get lecture notes, work hard in the group research project, and look over the study guides before tests. You'll pass.

The discussions were fun and interesting. Read the material and you will do fine. One long paper to hand in at the end of the semester, but she has a lot of helpful information on how to do it. Get your homework in on time and do your best, you will do fine. I would take a class with her again.

Super easy class! She has a note template that she bases her lectures off. Literally, you just fill in the blanks. Weekly discussions aren't bad, but they just take a little time (no more then an hour). No discussions on weeks you have a quiz (4 quizzes I think) There is a group paper and project at the end of the semester. EASY CLASS! Take Craft!!

Hands down the best professor I have had at WSU so far. Not necessarily a cake walk either, she hold you accountable and gives great feedback. I appreciated her no-nonsense attitude and engaging style of teaching. My only gripe would be the difficulty of her tests. Study hard!

Great professor-- gives interesting lectures, and provides examples for everything we learn in class so that we're not just memorizing the material, it is also being learned and applied. Tests were tough, but I really would recommend Professor Craft.

She pushes her students to be the best that they can. You get the grade that you work for. There is one major paper, but she gives you all the tools you need to exceed and awesome feedback. I recommend her if you actually want to learn and better yourself as a student.

Craft is an excellent professor. There are a bunch of exams, a cumulative final, and a research paper due at the end of the semester. She gives you plenty of time to work on everything, and the comprehensive materials are not too hard to grasp. I would highly recommend taking her!

Takes attendance; volunteer a lot and she'll like you. Do all the extra credit; it's very easy and brought me up a whole letter grade!

Attendance for class is mandatory and tests are easy if you review the chapter study guides. Assignments are only due the day of the test and they are really easy. Would 100% recommend her.

She is an amazing professor. There are 4 exams and one group presentation and group paper. You have writing assignments before each exam, but there are pretty simple and they help you retain the information. Her lectures are entertaining and useful, so you should go. TAKE HER!

She is a very passionate professor, which can sometimes mean she is loud and overpowering, especially early in the am. She provides note sheets every day for lecture which is helpful for exams. Exams aren't hard if you study but the final is so hard. there is a huge time-consuming group project at the end, so hopefully, you like your group members.

If you have the ability to take Dr. Craft for any class, please do it. Its professors like her that make the cost of tuition worth it. Absolutely loved Dr. Craft! She made the class so fun and engaging. Every class was so fun, because she'd always have a fun activity planned. There were lots of papers, though, which is a given with a writing intensive class. There's also a huge group project at the end. But if you like your group members, it's easy.

Jana Craft is a pretty good professor at WSU and probably one of the best business school professors you can take. Very heavy on the writing which is expected since it is a writing-intensive course. The only thing bad I would say is that if she's in a bad mood it is very obvious and she will take it out on the class. Also very particular.

Dr. Craft is one of the best professors at Winona State! She makes class fun! You should go to class because she gives participation points almost everyday. However, if you miss a few days its okay because you usually only earn 1 participation point a day. The end of the semester is very busy (personal essay, group essay, presentation, final exam)

Dr. Craft is a great professor and makes her lectures interesting. She's one of my favorites in the COB. Participation is essential and be prepared to write papers. Quizzes were relatively easy but there are A LOT of definitions to memorize. Study for them and you'll do fine. Would definitely have Dr. Craft as a professor again.

Dr. Craft is extremely organized and feedback from assignments is very clear. Lectures are engaging and easy to follow with a handout highlighting main points. One class period in MGMT325 is dedicated to how to give good presentations. A few EC opportunities. Few assignments and tests so make sure you complete them all.

Best professor I have had!! Amazing lectures and does not give out weekly homework which is very nice. You will have to write papers but there is only like 4-5 papers for the year and she gives feedback to help you.

I took MGMT 325 with Dr. Craft. The class was well organized, engaging and informative. The content you learn in this class feels like it has real value and not just some textbook lecture snooze. Craft is a great professor. take as many courses with her as you can. it is a little paper-heavy, but the papers are not complicated and are very straightforward. Attendance is not mandatory but you get participation points by showing up.

Dr. Craft clearly knows the material very well, but also makes learning fun. Hands down the best lecture videos for an online class. Every online class should follow her lead. I took the class as a winter term class so it was online and Dr.Craft is very nice. I think for a winter term class so there was a good amount of work to do and papers to write but very manageable if you keep up. She had good feedback on papers and made sure to have papers graded before the next one was due so you knew changes.

This is the second class I have taken with Dr. Craft. I wish I could have her as the professor for every course I take. I generally have a hard time sitting through lecture videos, however Dr. Craft's are very engaging, thought provoking, and she is quite funny at times. The course was challenging, but she's clear about her expectations.

This was a fun class. The exams were extremely tough. READ THE BOOK. studying for the exam is crucial to pass the class. The projects were fun to do, and she gave out a lot of extra credit opportunities which should not be slept on. The content was very interesting. You get to go on the classroom boat. If well prepared, she is a great teacher.

Craft is one of the best teachers at WSU. She has her set expectations but is willing to work with you as long as you put in effort. Essay heavy (3-4 8-10 p. papers). Exams can be tough. But you will learn a lot in this class.
