She was to the point, very helpfull, and kept you as long as was needed. Didnt waste your time and gave you needed reading for the assignments.

I would recommend Mrs. Kinder to anyone! She is extremly helpful and will do whatever she can for you. She gives you 2 weeks to do a paper and is pretty true to the syllabus schedule so you know what to expect.

Pretty light on grading. i would get her again. wish i took her for Eng I. shes kinda goofy, but she is really nice and enjoy'd her as a professor. gives you a sheet of what you will be turning in the whole semster. basically take her.

But I am a little irratated at the slow return on papers,took 2 months to return papers from the beginning of term!Her grading is based on your ability not merrit. I know several students who could not organize a sentence and made an A while other with well planned papers made a C based on gram

Great professor, requires cheap books that you actually use. Gives a very accurate syllabus and sticks to it, you always know exactly what needs to be done. My only complaint is with grading. It seems that your ability doesnt count for much most people seem to get As.

AMAZING TEACHER! Her syllabus is to a 'T'. You never have to guess what is due. Her tests are easy (as long as you read the essay), she lets you use notes on the tests. There are 6 essays, 6 tests, and lessons taught everyday. thats it. I would DEFFINATELY reccomend her and would take her again if I needed another english class.

Prof. Kinder was a great teacher. Very energetic and made sure you understood the things she was teaching. I took a 3 hour class and she made it very interesting so no one would fall asleep. Great teacher. You write lots of papers, but thats with any english class. I HIGHLY RECOMEND HER:)

Professor Kinder is really great. She is super nice and witty. The only complaint I have is that it was too easy! You have the same order of events for every section of writing done so you always know what is going on with out the syllabus.

I didn't really care for reading my rough drafts to the other students, but she always read my paper when I asked her and gave me some suggestions on what to correct. Very interest class. I found the class to be a bit "elementary level" overall. She spends a lot of time going over basic concepts like summarizing and writting a research paper. I expected something a bit more challenging, but great professor. She really does care about her students and wants to help them succeed.

Professor Kinder is a nice, but she takes forever to return your quizzes and essays. Attending her class is a must, maintain a A or B average and perfect attendance and you will be exempt from the final. Her grading can be strict, it depends on her mood and yes she will bore you, but she's a sweet little lady.

Very good professor and the book for the class is like 20 bucks. Will exempt you from the final exam if you make an A or B on the class, but you also need no absenses. Made an A in class, was an easy course,would definitely recommend her.

Professor Kinder is great! I had her for ENC 1101 and ENC 1102. She's very kind and respectful. I think she's too lenient on her work and students who don't do their work take advantage of that, which isn't right. Overall, I would definitely recommend her to anyone. This class is an easy A. As far as textbooks, we used them occasionally.

This class was...okay. The syllabus lays out exactly what you need to do for the course, so don't lose it and do exactly what it says even if she doesn't announce that something is due in class. She is very helpful, but also very unorganized. She often cancels class or is late due to her young children. Do the work and you'll get a good grade.

Easy teacher! Not hard at all, have a week or so in b/w every essay. She returns papers really late, but overall an easy A. Final Exam is optional if you have perfect attendance and have a B or A at the end of the term.

She's Great. This class has opened my eye's to writing in a positive way. She's a hard grader but even the suck-yest writer can make it out of this class with a B. She''s super sweet and funny too. Just show up to class and do the paper and quizzes. That's it. It's not hard. That's only thing that's bad is she gives papers back super late.

I had her for ENC1101 and ENC1102. Recieved an A in both courses. There is a lot of writing in both classes, but she does follow the sylabus exactly. Overall she was a good professor to take for these courses.

She is great! Very helpful and understanding to your schedule. She explains everything clear and will help you on anything you need it on if you just ask. She's just really nice and I hated writing essays before this class and she made it bearable.

Professor Kinder is so great. She is very easy going and I love her class. She has kind of a corny sense of humor, but it cracks me up first thing in the morning. She keeps grades posted pretty regular and follows the syllabus. I would definitely recommend her.

Kinder has a nice personality. I enjoyed taking her class, but feel she should have been tougher on grading (mainly the essays). I don't feel I really learned anything from her course. She has a relaxed teaching style and is willing to help. To me, she seemed disorganized but not to a point where it will hinder your grade.

Ms.Kinder is a great English teacher. She can't stand comma splices and grammar errors drives her crazy but she is there to teach you to avoid those errors! She sticks to her syllabus and gives you a chance to make the best essay you can. No textbook really and if you don't miss a class you don't have a final! Just remember your due dates!

Very practical. Doesn't believe in spending 100's on a textbook. She is very friendly and really knows her stuff. Assignments are very reasonable and you have plenty of time to get them accomplished. It's not possibly to fall asleep with her teaching. Highly recommended!!!

A great professor. I had her for both ENC1101 and ENC1102. She really cares about her students success and will go out of her to help. The only negative thing I have to say about her is, she isn't the quickest about posting grades, but not a real big deal. I have and would recommend her to anyone taking Comp 1 or 2.

She is the best. Took someone who hates writing and through two semesters (ENC-1101 and ENC-1102) showed me writing could be fun. She lets you choose your own topics.

Mrs. Kinder was a very kind-hearted teacher, although if you do not do the work or show up for class, you hope for a good grade is out the window. Great instructor. Not strict or boring, tries to connect with the class. States what she wants and there's only 5 papers. One of them is in class. Reading quizzes aren't bad. The overall class was pretty decent. There is alot of essays to write and shes a very tough grader. Alot of her grading is based on grammar, clearness, and useful information. There aren't many test or quizzes. I only remember taking one.

Kinder is a pretty cool teacher and is very personable. You don't need to get the textbook because she provides the material for you. She is a very tough grader on the 3-4 papers you have to write so make sure it is to spec from the rubric.

Professor Kinder is a great teacher! I've had her for my 1101, 1102 and LIT 2000 classes, and I'm sad I can no longer take her. Shes a tough grader, but as long as you actually do the work you'll be ok. Shes kind and understanding, and I would recommend all of her classes to anyone.

Professor Kinder is amazing! I've had her for both ENC1102 and LIT200. LIT2000 was Harry Potter focused, which already was great. She's passionate about her teaching, and easily relates to her students. I'd definitely recommend taking her for any literature course.

Shes really good at answering any questions you have and makes it clear what shes looking for. Makes you feel comfortable and will tell you if something needs correcting if you ask her about your paper before the due date.

Cool teacher, very responsive. Not too much work, one quiz, a few essays, she grades kind of tough, I never got higher than a B on any paper. She does offer extra credit. Watch some videos, participate in some groups, nothing major.

She was an amazing professor!! She did give a lot of essays, about 5. 2 of them were in class essays, however she was kind and gave a thorough lecture with plenty examples. She is a tough grader, points are taken off if the essays not proof read. However we never had any word requirements for the essays, as long s it had good context.

Professor Kinder is very kind. She relates what we're learning to real life. You can get extra credit by reading the final paper to the class. Only 3-4 papers total, no discussions, but some work that required an access code. Really nice lady and class overall.

Professor Kinder is a great teacher, her directions are always clear, and she gives great feed back on papers.

She would make instructions REALLY clear before each assignment. There were 4 papers over the semester, 2 were short (1-2 pages) and 2 were longer (3-4 pages). She gave ample time for each assignment, and while we were doing our longer research paper, she even gave us 2 weeks off from coming to class to "focus" on it. I'd highly recommend her.

Mrs. Kinder is super clear and easy to understand. There are quite a few papers but she gives great examples to help create your topics and dont be afraid to reach out if you arent sure about something. Shes super nice

This professor is one of the best. She is very helpful, funny and easy going. All you have to do is show up to class and take notes. There are lots of papers to write but you have time to do it, especially if you show up.

All of her assignments were incredibly clear in what she wanted. She kept track of grades and the feedback was good. There is a lot of work,but she's flexible. She gave you time in class to work on your essays. She handed out packets for each section, which I liked. There was a lot of student choice when it comes to essays.

She is kind and understanding and gave us over 3 extra credit opportunities. The semester started off with a book assignment which I enjoyed and we wrote 3 papers. Overall not a difficult class and she gave us plenty of time between assignments. She explains things well and answers messages quickly.

I would 100% recommend taking her for English class. She doesn't give out quizzes nor tests. Expect to do some essays throughout the semester but she gives plenty of time for you to finish them and she offers to give feedback also. Extra credit at the end of the year and she is very understanding

She provides handouts for the class. She grades harshly, but it's not too harsh. She also accepts late work- until 6am the next day. HIGHLY recommended!!!

Professor Kinder is a great instructor who really helps students grow as writers. While the workload is manageable, she provides ample time for assignments and is understanding. I found unstuckstudy super helpful for essay prep.

Honestly an amazing professor who doesn't bog you down with unnecessary stuff. She teaches you how to write good essays and that's pretty much it. Good grades, good feedback, wonderful person to talk to outside of class and genuinely cares about her students.

One of the best things about this course was how connected Professor Kinder was to each students chosen essay topics, which are the bulk of the class grades. She gave great feedback and encouraged our creativity. Offered extra credit, and graded assignments quickly! Connects her students to tutors as well for feedback on essays. I'll miss her class
